They were all very nice, everything is electronic, they send you a link thru your phone to fill out questions. Very nice people. The only negative part was it was a long wait.
Have to say I was skeptical at first when I was told to go here instead of to my own PCP however it has been a pleasure dealing with them. Kind and professional staff. Paul was the PT I dealt with and he was great! Thanks again you guys!
Was sent to Concentra by a employer for a pre employment physical and tdap. I arrived a little after 10am. I prefilled out the paperwork but they sent me another link to fill out the same form about 1019. A nice girl came and took my vitals but they didn’t have a room so she placed me back in the waiting room. I was ok at that point cause they looked busy. 1115 I was finally taken to a exam room. I sat in that exam room till about 1150 and at that point I was getting frustrated and felt like I was forgotten about so I opens the door in hopes one of that staff members would see me and let me know what was going on. 12 rolled around and I seen a girl walk by and I explained that I had been waiting in that room for almost a hr and was wondering if I was going to see a provider soon. She immediately got a attitude and said all our rooms are full we will get to when we get to it. I was pretty frustrated at this point but I was trying to be empathetic as I too work in healthcare and understanding short staffing. Finally a Physician came in a did my physical and chatted for a min. 15 min later the girl with the attitude came in with a trainee to give me my tdap vaccine. The trainee was nervous and I tried to walk her though giving the injection cause the other girl just sat in the corner watching her. Finally I was able to leave at this point it was almost 1pm. I was happy it was over and hope I never get sent there again, they should give you a warning about how long it takes to wait for a room. My last job I was doing physicals and injections with 3 other nurses and we would bust them out in under 20min so I have a hard time believing it was due to short staffing and proly poor organization.
I had an appointment for a physical and some bloodwork at 11am, and I arrived about 10 minutes early. They didnt call me into the back until noon. At that point, I went and peed in a cup, and the collector had to go ask someone else what to do with it (???). Then I went and sat in a room to wait for another half hour or so. At this point, the phlebotomist came to collect some blood samples - one of which GOT LOST!!!! Then I had to wait for a little while longer before the doctor came in. All in all, I was there for nearly 3 hours, and I STILL have to go get another blood test due to the aforementioned lost blood vial.I understand that there are staffing shortages nationwide, but this was ri-friggin-diculous. I did all this to be cleared to donate white blood cells to a cancer patient who may die without my donation, which is now in jeopardy due to the lost blood vial. All told, I had to take an extra 3/4 day off work, in order to get all the testing done in time for the white blood cell collection.If I could give zero stars, I would.
Worse treatment here. I was send from Amazon and my hand was hurting can’t able work and doctor even don’t told me who I feeling but written that I can able to return to work after 1 week today i still have pain n can’t able to move my hand properly. Really don’t care about patients I would suggest don’t go and check there if u have medicate go to another hospital.
Treatment and care was outstanding! The long wait was a little disappointing. Other than that, my first visit a pleasant one!
I think you dont need to pass out masks, if I dont wanna wear it I shouldnt have to. Other than that the service was good and the employees were friendly and awesome
Plain and simple straight to the point Concentra never sent information about my physical to my employer which resulted in a later start date for me to begin working because I had to do their job and fax over the documentation myselfIf youre forced to take your physical/drug test at this site please hold on to your documents after you have completed your application
Great place for care. Our company has used them for years. If injured on the job we trust them with checkup and any physical therapy needed.

Very unprofessional, had attitude . checked in filled out paperwork 45 mins later asked when i was gonna be called back and said we had more paperwork to fill out then said it would be another 30 minutes . anwsered the phone in the middle of me talking .
Spent almost 3hrs there my hair follicle never got signed by me so therefore didnt get sent in gotta retake it again almost raised questions on a job Im trying to get
Had me wait an hour for a scheduled exam then botched my vision test. I’m 100% sure they weren’t actually paying attention as the individual running the exam was on their phone they entire session.
I went for a work physical. The wait was not as long as I expected. Everyone was very professional, the Doctor was thorough and polite.
I had to get my DOT physical done, walked in and was told there was a 4 hour wait. I wasnt even there 2 hours; 12 people in front of me. Amazing service, kind workers, intelligent physician. I cant believe how fast yet thorough they were. Absolutely amazing!
I always gi to concentrate for my D.O.T. stuff, whether it be drug test or physical...they are polite...they get you on and out timely. For one reason or another I go at least once a year. Keep up the good work guys. See u in a yr.
The 2 ladies at the intake window were great, fast and friendly. They kept everything moving very well!!
If you go on Thursday be prepared to wait, only 1 Doc on Thursday, hes a great guy, good doctor, but he is only 1 guy. Gary the gentleman that has administer the breathalyzer, and the drug screen, very professional and his paper work was spot on. I also went through PT there. The facility was clean, and orderly. The therapist was friendly, not too chatty, all about getting me well and back to work. Fix the water fountain (5 stars if the fountain had been working)

Concentra in Akron, OH has a great staff right now. I have to say that was not always the case. Looks like there were changes in the staff and right now they are doing an excellent job. I was in and out in 20-25 minutes for a random DOT test. I believe Gary was the name of the employee that did the test. Super friendly while getting the job done fast and in a professional manner. Keep it up👍
Greeted as soon as I walked in, worker behind counter very friendly. Waiting room chairs spread out to safely allow visitors to have the social distancing. Went for drug screen for work, guy who took urine sample very friendly. Entire process only took 15 minutes. I was very impressed!
I have done many pre-employment urinalysis and I have NEVER had to wait as long as I have had to wait here.

All went smooth. Dr Lauren has a great personality, very down to earth , which is not found in a lot of Dr offices. No problems whatsoever, no negative feed back. The ladies behind the counter were most friendly.
Really nice people just had to come in for a random drug test for work Im a truck driver. Got in in a timely manner even tho they was busy the Male nurse that I dealt with was pretty cool ..
The staff is great and very attentive to your needs and comfort. The doctor is very easy to communicate with and manner is take care of you not your employer. I’m very happy with my care there and comparing with what I got at the emergency care at the Bath emergency department was night and day. I really appreciate their care and trust my recovery to them.
Staff was super nice, but the wait time was a little ridiculous. I was told a 1 hour wait for a drug screen & physical and instead waited 3.5 hours. My drug test was completed after an hour in the waiting room but they were so backed up I waited another hour in the waiting room before being taken back to an exam room for a physical. There, I waited another hour before being seen. It was a ridiculous amount of time for the 12 people there.
They are extremely friendly, nice, and overall they definitely care about the people they see. I was in and out within an hour, so they are very fast. :) If I ever have to get a drug test for a job again, Ill definitely be going back to Concentra. :)
I arrived and was 4th in line when they opened the doors... I was 3rd to turn in my paperwork and they completely skipped over my name and several people went in front of me. I noticed this and said something to them and they played like they didnt know and I ended up waiting for 3.5 hours before I got seen to start my physical. Something needs done with the organization of this place. I missed appointments I had elsewhere. I was furious but had to do it. I hope I never get assigned to this location again because if I ever have the choice, I will never return.

Very friendly staff.. in and out.. easy instructions.. results for drug test if your clean instant.. I mean it’s a rapid test for a reason.. I asked about results and what the dots meant they were happy to explain. I mean I wasn’t worried. I just was nosey and wanted and to know..

Staff were great. Everyone was courteous and respectful. Check in and wait time was acceptable, not long, and organized. They were out of one of the tests I needed so I had to contact employer then go somewhere else to have completed but overall, service was great.

GREAT STAFF!! Im a military veteran and I felt more love and support from this crew than I do at the VA. PERIOD! My health, comfort, and well being were a top priority from the moment I walked in. I cant say enough! These are medical professionals who truly care. I only wish i could make them my go to crew. Id trust these people with heart surgery before I would trust the VA with a cold.Follow-up: First treatment didnt work 100%, so they stepped up! Gave me what I needed to feel better. Here I am on Thanksgiving Day comfortable and healthy. Love that the staff was determined to get me well before the holidays. I truly cant say enough.

The reason I gave 4 ⭐️ is I had to wait such a long time to see the doctor and after my appointment I had to wait and extra 25 minutes... I just really wanted to leave. Something with my paperwork. I definitely would refer you to a family or friend.
My experience with Cocentra Urgent Care was outstanding! The young lady (Gabrielle)who took care of me, was very pleasant and knowledgeable. She made me feel comfortable. She deserves a pay raise 👏
I had to come here to get a drug test done for my new job. They where very busy. However, the ladys working the front counter, did a wonderful job keeping the pace going. I was there maybe 20 minutes tops. They where very friendly. The gentleman that did my test was awesome. I wish i could remember his name to give him the credit. He was kind of new. He told me he had only been there for 5 months i believe he said. He was very informative of how the test worked. He didnt rush me and even explained everything he was doing step by step. He made the process very comfortable, and he even congratulated me on my new job, and wished me good luck on my first day. This is my second time having a drug test here for employment. The first time was just as great as this one. Thank you to all the workers here. You guys are great and do a wonderful job. Things cant be easy with all thats going on. But you guys are handling it great.
Very clean. Ran superb. Get you in and out as quickly as they can. Very nice staff. The one medical assistant that took care of me did very nice job! I forgot her name ,but she was really good at what she do . She was very professional. Yes I will go back again.
I was so impressed by the staff at this clinic. They were courteous on the phone, especially when addressing social distancing concerns. Chairs in the lobby were spaced at least 6 ft apart and they were limiting people in the waiting area to no more than 10. The nurse (Gary) that conducted my test was courteous and kept me informed of every step in the process.

When I arrived I was able to walk up to the counter behind one person. They took care of him then I got right up to the counter. I was handed some papers to fill out. They told me when I had them complete to bring them back up to the counter. When I took them back up it was only a few minutes until the nurse came out and called my name. She took my vitals and asked me questions while filling in information on the computer. I waited a little longer for the doctor to come into the room. He was very nice and quickly completed the exam and filled out my paper work for my employer. Everyone was very nice, it was clean and they took all the precautions for the Covid-19. I would definitely go back there again.
Everyone was great! The woman who took my blood made it painless. They accommodated me while I needed to make a conference call. They were nice and helpful. Great team at this location.

I went to Concentra Urgent Care to get a physical for a knew job. I was treated kindly and everyone acted in a professional manger.
Had to come in to the Urgent Care on Christmas Eve for a work physical. The staff was short handed that day but were still able to accommodate us. Very professional staff and I wish I remembered all their names to individually thank them.
Everyone was polite but it was very annoying that you don’t do appointments for pre employment physicals. Having to drive from Canfield twice because I couldn’t be seen is not fun.

I would have given less stars but the staff is very friendly and nice so I would feel bad doing so, but my last visit was unfortunately a waste of time. Ive been here once before and my experience was fine, I decided to go back again this time for some allergy problems I was experiencing. I think I got forgot because my wait on the doctor in the room was so long that I eventually had to ask someone when I would be seen. Within 2 minutes of asking the doctor was in the room. My visit was a pretty simple one – my ears had been ringing for 2 weeks due to allergies so I thought I would get it checked out to be safe. I ended up being there for about 3 hours total. I left with the recommendation of switch allergy medicine to one that was $40 for 15 days and has done nothing to help my problem. After all of that, my visit just felt like a huge waste of my time and money. I wasnt expecting an answer to my problem necessarily, but it took up so much of my time for something that most likely wasnt going to be solved and felt like a waste. I probably wont go here again unless Im out of options. But again, the staff was all very friendly. Just make sure you have the time in your day because the visit can be long.

Great job and great staff! I was in Friday morning for a company random drug screen. I left my Leatherman super tool pocket knife in the box you empty your pockets into. I was tired and in a hurry and left it there. By the time I realized it was missing they were closed for the weekend. But when I called Monday they found it and had it for me! Great job it really meant alot to me since my kids got it for me years ago and I use it just about every day! Thanks for all you do!!!
Efficient staff, short wait time, no hassles
The wait to be seen was almost 2 hours and the nursing staff didnt really talk to each other. Plus there wasnt enough rooms for everyone. I had to go back out to the waiting room before I was put in a room. The electronic paperwork was easy to do tho. Loved that. Also loved paying before I was seen.
I would have given a 5-star rating but I had to sit in a room over an hour waiting to be seen by a doctor. The doctor and all the staff were very friendly and helpful. But for some reason there was only one doctor working that day and he had to treat all the patiences by himself.
I checked in before noon and didn’t leave until after 3:30

With the exception of the confusion in finding the clinic (your office name is not visible from the street) and not being able to get my physical the day as my drug screen (I was advised it would be a 4 hr wait) The visit was pleasant enough and staff was friendly.
Unfortunately I had a work related injury this is the facility that my work required I go to. As I arrived I was very skeptical it’s not in the best part of town in my opinion.I must say the staff is very polite makes you feel at home and very knowledgeable. I very much like the doctor that I saw.I ended up having to have physical therapy I cannot say enough good about their physical therapy department.I will also say this facility is very well-equipped to meet your needs and get you feeling better
From the moment I walked in and throughout the process of testing, registering and processing my paperwork the team at concentra were very professional, attentive and mindful. It gets quite hectic and takes patience and great communication skills to deal with many clients at once, which they did very well. I would gladly return for more piddle testing at any time.
Ill admit, I was nervous about visiting an urgent care instead of my regular doctor but seeing as I was away from home, I didnt have much of a choice. The staff at Concentra were very friendly and efficient, and the doctor and assistant who saw me were also friendly and made me feel very comfortable. If I ever have any other health issues that require an urgent care visit while attending college, I will definitely come back to this one!
Wait time was a little longer than I expected.Used my entire lunch break waiting in the lobby.Being diabetic I need to be able to eat my lunch, and on this day I was not able to eat. Got the shakes and felt horrible the rest of the day.

Very happy with my experience at Concentra recently for a preemployment exam/drug screen. Process was fairly quick and transitioned easily from area to area. Each staff member I encountered was knowledgeable and professional, as well as personable.
I had very good relaxed experience. I was greeted with a smile, filled out the forms and almost immediately taken to the exam room. Nicki handled my visit, very nice, personable, and professional. Nicki is a real asset to Concentra Urgent Care.
Every 1 was very thorough. They told us approximately how long the w8 would b & they even offered us water 2 drink. I was very pleased w/my experience.
Unfortunately, I have had several visits for various reasons. Each time I have been treated great. Very efficient and professional. I am currently in therapy for a wrist/ hand injury. The staff knows me by name and welcomes me when I walk through the door.Gabby Z is exceptional and very knowledgeable in her duties.
The physician was very nice and thorough. The nurse that worked with me did not use the proper technique when handling my urine. She put gloves on and poured my urine in the smaller containers and then couldn’t find something and she opened cabinets and drawers looking for it and then opened the container with the strips (that she dipped in my urine) but with her contaminated gloves, reached in to get a strip and possibly contaminated the other strips in the container as she just handled my urine. She also used a pen after touching my urine. In summary, the container I had to urinate in was wet with my urine in the outside and she contaminated everything around her with my urine.
Had pre-employment drug screen. Staff were helpful and very polite and courteous. Had to return for a second test as the first test completed was not the correct test. Needed to be 12 panel not a 10 panel
I arrived promptly at 7:00am. It did not take long to be signed in and responding to the desired information on the app that arrived on my phone. After completing that I had a short wait and was then escorted to a room for various testing that included vision, hearing and reflex response. After that I went to another area for physical motion and strength evaluations. I was using wheights in a series walking, squawting and returning to the starting position while holding them. There was more that required short term endurance in other parts of my body including my arms. Before I knew it I was done and thanking the staff for there kindness during my visit. They were all happy to provide me with the help and all of the information that I needed as well. Thank you to the Concentra staff from me to you.
I have to give a star to write a review, I was failed by the Dr. for a physical, for the same work Ive done for over 15 years. Whats gives here? That has to be the worst Concentra Ive ever visited. And right here in my own state. Im shaking my head at that Dr. No stars today...
I use these facilities for pre-employment testing as I do contracts for work. They are always respectful and kind. You might have a wait depending on what you need and the time of day you arrive, but they always let you know the expectations. You get copies of all testing done, so there is no surprise. Also, my company sends paperwork needed for testing, so all I have to do is show up. They are following some strict guidelines for Covid. You MUST wear a mask to use these facilities. My only qualm is that they do not have clean/dirty pen containers. This would be helpful. Just my opinion. I work in Healthcare.
The women I dealt with at the front desk, when I got there and when I left, were wonderful. Took care of me right away, very nice and informative. The doctors assistant I seen was very cold and unapproachable. I thought for a work injury and this being my first time there I would see the doctor. She did not want to listen. She heard enough to write something down and on to next question.
Horrible only went for a drug test there was nothing marked for a physical and also ended up receiving a physical as well, but first off when I went in I completed bunch paperwork was told Ill be there 30 minutes and ended up being there 2 half hours, this was while I waited in a room in shorts provided for over hour half with nobody coming in and letting me know what was going on, I was furious and also missed an engagement I had at 1145 when I got there around 930am. Service, communication and friendliness was obsurd
Only had wait time of a few minutes. All nurses and Dr. Parsons took the time to listen to what I had to say and were so sweet that I felt very comfortable. Dr. Parsons knew what I needed and now Im feeling so much better and regaining strength I didnt Id ever have again. I cant thank them all enough!!
I recently suffered an injury which required several follow up visits after the ER at Concentra. My husband and I were both totally impressed with Dr. Benson and the entire staff. From the minute we walked in we were treated with kindness and top notch professional care. Wait time was minimal and everyone was friendly. We shared some laughs with them. I think other medical facilities could learn a few things from Dr. Benson and staff.
Worst service I have ever had at a walk in clinic. Got here at 10:20am and it is now 12:20pm I am still here and yet to have seen anyone! All I need is a physical and I have been waiting for 2 hours! Never have I ever waited 2 hours at a walk in clinic to get a physical!
WAYYYYY to long of a wait but friendly staff
I have nothing to be critical about my visit. Staff was great. I also like the addition of technology in the paperwork process. I would prefer to receive a laminated physical card upon completion.
I showed up after 4:30 on a Friday to take a rapid drug test, and despite my bad timing everyone was very friendly and helpful. The 9 panel test was quick, I had the results ready to go before I put my wallet back in my pocket. I couldnt be any more excited about taking a pee test.
Everyone was very nice and professional. The doctor was quick but still made me feel as if I was his only patient that day. Overall a great experience.
After youre in specimen, I was taken to a room and told to put on a pair of paper shorts and the doctor would be in to check my reflexes. I figured I better take my boots off too because he will be checking the reflexes in my feet. I know I waited at least a half an hour in that room with no one stopping in to tell me the doctor would be in shortly. Physical included him looking in my ears nose and throat and checking my Chest and lungs. Had me lay down and pressed on my tummy and asked if that hurt. Then stood up and he checked my balance.What was the purpose of wearing the paper shorts and waiting a half an hour or 40 min for a three minute exam, of which did not even include checking my reflexes. I cant complain about the time because I was told it would be a two hour visit and it was
The staff where really helpful, the employer requesting the test did not provide all the information needed for the testing. Instead of turning me away they located the information from past requests and contacting the employer. This could of been a wasted of my time and a loss of employment had it not been for the extra steps your staff took to assist me. Thank you andI got the job!
I was installing a video card into a computer that wasnt fitting the way it should have. I hastily forced it into the slot and my hand slid off which caused me to get cut. Fellow employees said I should get it looked at. It was the end of the day, and this wonderful nurse looked at it for me. She said it could use a couple of stitches as she examined the wound. She even pointed out to me where the nerve was that I severed. Lauren did a great job of stitching me up, and I would not hesitate going back to Concentra again in the future if need be. I have been there before, and was in and out in no time. Much better than waiting in a hospital for hours.Thank you Concentra staff
Waiting room excessively. Waited 45 min to get test, 20 min for reading test 2 days later. Staff refused to give hard copy. They hadnt provided email results as promised. Caused problems for me and the new employer. Theyll likely be choosing another vendor/ service pretty soon .

Went here for a DOT physical. It was pretty fast, there was some waiting of course because other people were there but it wasnt bad at all. I got there around 2:30pm on a Tuesday. Every single person I talked to was friendly and helpful.
I did the walk in for my work physical as I was told would be the best way for me to obtain it. After waiting for 45 minutes I was moved to a second room and waited another 35 minutes there. There has to be a more efficient way to get a physical and another way to handle so many people at once. Total waste of 3 hours of my life.

The entire staff were extremely personable and professional. I needed to have an audio metric exam performed and it didnt go well. The sound proof booth was anything but. I could hear everything going on outside of the both. What was worse was the business next door was making an obscene amount of racket, considering the fact that I was taking a hearing assessment. Thankfully I was invited to retake the test once all the commotion subsided.
All the staff were very kind. They let me know ahead of time of my wait. Which I appreciated greatly. Even though I didnt wait very long. Everything was explained to me in detail of every procedure I had. Thank you to all the staff

I take comfort in knowing i was heard. Thank you so much!Original review: I was sent here for a drug screen and respirator questionnaire but had to actually argue with the staff about it. The staffing agency specifically sent me to this one because they do RQ. So when i got to concentra, i was first told they dont do the RQ test and dont know anything about it. Then was told they needed paperwork for it to prove i needed it. So after lots of phone calls i found the paperwork and the staff told me they already had it and just had to login to get it! Finally filling out the RQ i had questions about it but of course noone could answer any of them either.. After all said and done someone i didnt get to talk to about any of it stamped their name on the RQ paperwork and passed it off to the secretary who of course could answer nothing about it.. My recruiter was able to get the results for my background check and drug screen in an hour but we are still waiting on the respirator questionnaire!! Now because of it i will have to wait until the following week to start my employment. Its hard not to blame concentra staff at this location because of my experience and for the lack of results.
I was in and out in less than 30 minutes for a chest X-ray. Considering my work schedule I needed that too, it was so easy it really was! The staff is friendly and helpful as well.
The staff is extremely nice but the wait time is very long. They put you back to work the next day, which is a good thing so you don’t lose money.I’m still in soo much pain, but I guess that’s expected for a separated a/c .
The staff was not that friendly at the front desk. There was an individual who was there for pre-mployment drug testing as well as myself who was very obnoxious, loud, rude, and intrusive. He used extremely foul language and paced throughout the waiting area constantly. He would not sit down. The staff did not address his behavior or suggest that he sit down, lower his voice, and refrain from using such inappropriate language. In my opinion a security guard or police officer needs to be on the premises for people like him. There should be a list of directives posted in the waiting area that governs proper behavior. He should have been asked to leave and the potential employer should have been alerted to his despicable behavior.
I had a great experience. Came in for a pre-employment screening and physical. It wasnt busy so I got in right away. Very friendly and talkative staff. Got through it all quickly, no complaints at all!
This place looks and feels like your are waiting in line for a food hand out. I was there over 4 hours and still never got any answer to what they thought was causing my pain from a fall at work. Some of the staff was nice but the others not so much. It is a shame that because you have a work compensation claim that you cant even go to your own Dr.. I am dreading going back for my next visit.I literally made sure that when I left work I went right home and took a shower. This place is like so far behind technology. At times the left hand didnt know what the right hand was doing.I advise anyone to stay away from this place at any cost if they can.
I have had a great experience at Concentra, especially with the physical therapy department Gabby z and Paul have been so great to me the whole time. Gabby z has went above and beyond to help me with my time there. I have really felt like part of the Concentra family.
Staff was very friendly and I did not have to wait long. I was only there for a drug screening for a new job, but Ive been there before and everyone is always efficient and friendly.
My company uses concentra for their DOT physicals. It was quick, easy, and my vision is 20/13. So, ya know.. I know good service when I see it.

From the moment I walked in I was greeted with a warm smile and spoken to with pleasure when I went into the back to take my test I was also greeted with a warm smile and a friendly voice everyone there is very friendly everyone speaks to you when they see you even walking through the Halls I had a very great experience and I did share that with the ladies there as I left today to let them know thank you theyre very much appreciate it
The nurses and doctor were great but I waited for 45 min in the little room wondering if they forgot me. It would be nice to have someone come in at least once to tell me I haven’t been forgotten.
Had an appointment at 7am didn’t go back until 745. Only for a fit test. They tried to make me have a full physical and pulmonary function tests. I just had my physical 2 months ago and PFTS at same time. They were just trying to charge for unnecessary tests. So I apparently I had to have the physical....which consisted of Vital signs, height and weight. No doctor or PA listened to my heart or lungs or did any type of physical exam. I’m pretty certain they charged for a full exam which by the way is fraudulent
It wasn’t a bad trip to the Urgent Care for a DOT physical and drug screening on Friday mid morning, but the following Monday was a slightly different story. I needed Concentra to send a copy of paperwork that needed filled out by my prescriber for DOT. I called Concentra asking for them to fax those papers over to my prescriber and the lady on the line sounded annoyed and was short with me over the phone.
Ashley did an amazing job explaining everything that needed to be done for my DOT exam. I highly recommend her!
Be prepared to wait for a very long time. Even for a simple drug screen the wait is usually over an hour.
If I could, I would give this place a -0 rating.After a fall at work I was sent to this location. The wounds to my hand and arm were completely ignored and not attended too. Other than them taking an X-ray to me knee and telling me that it appears my knee cap was cracked, no care was rendered. AT ALL. I was sent home with some prescriptions and a promise of a phone call. I never received a phone call dispite my efforts of calling up there twice and leaving messages.My experience was absolutely horrible. I will never go back there and I have told my employer to reconsider using this company.
It was fast and the staff were on point setting up and getting you out of there not as a number but as a persion who has other things to do besides sit there and wait to use the bathroom..
Office staff was excellent!! Wait was a little long, especially when the doctor told me someone would be back to take me out front and after an extended wait I finally opened the door and the the girl walked by and said oh your ok to leave.
Had a long wait due to more severe cases in front of me. They kept me informed during wait. Care was very good, I would recommend this place and would use them again if needed.
Dr. Lauren Parson is a great doctor. Scheduling sent my MRI order to 2 different places before getting it right. I needed to get that appointment to find out about my knee so I can get back to work. I have a family to support .
Even though they were short on staff the day I came in, they were able to schedule me and work with me very swiftly.
The ladies at the front desk are super efficient. They were super busy and still got everyone taken care of quickly & were friendly and helpful.

Would have been a decent experience except they had no ide about chain of custody forms. I ended up paying for a drug test when I shouldnt have because I had the CCs. Im seriously pissed off about that. And then they lied to my employer saying I INSISTED???? Um NO! I said I needed to pay for our physicals.I wouldnt use them unless your prepared to walk them thru the process of how to do their job.
Dr Benson actually seemed care about my health. He took the time to be thorough and reassured me everything would be okay. I feel he went above and beyond.
Usually, when going to these places for testing, you sit for half the day. I was in and out of here in less than an hour and the testing took less than five minutes. Everyone working here was courteous and professional.

Service was terrible, had to go do pre employment physical twice. Doctor refused to sign off when tb test was done at the new job. Prolonged my employment. Doctor was concerned about how far I drive when health was excellent, which was totally irrelevant to the visit. Akron, Ohio.
The facility was clean, hot and cold beverages were available. My wait was 2 hrs, because it was only 1 provider at the time I was there. My second visit was to get my tb checked. I was there for about 10 minutes, maybe less.
Staff is fantastic, wait time is usually not too long. Facilities are clean and complimentary coffee and water available in waiting room. Highly recommend Concentra.

Went in for a d.o.t. physical and a pre-employment drug screen. They didnt do the drug screen and after waiting 10 days and not being able to work they called and said they didnt do it. Came back the next day and did the drug screen, 5 days later still no results, still not working, still no answers. These people need to realize that their incompetence is messing with peoples livelihoods.

My experience at Concentra on 1450 Firestone has been difficult. Ive taken a few D.O.T physicals there. In Most cases the people are nice an Pleasant. My urine Sample are a different conversation on its On. I Took my Urine drug test for Eagle Express on Monday Nov 5 2018. It is Now November 12, 2018 and my result is still Pending and havent been released At all. That is 8 days total so Far. I Have never heard of a drug test result taken that Long at All to be release. Especially for pre-empolyment Stats. Those thing take only 2 days 3 days Most. Honestly im Still waiting on my result to be release. Eagle Express said their still pending. Im only leaving this long written because you guy txt me asking How was my experience. So that Is All p.s this is just one of my Experience.

From an employer perspective- go somewhere else. They run the tests they feel like, not what you ask/include in documentation. They cause huge delays with mistakes theyre in no rush to fix. Terrible customer service through their escreen service.Avoid! If youre a prospective employee being asked to go here ask the employer if there is a competitor they work with.

Quick visit with easy registration
Went in for a TB test for work. I gave the staff a paper with explicit information on how to fill out the paperwork so it could be used for credentialing. Despite the instructions, the staff member who read the test did not document their title, nor were they qualified to read the test for this credentialing system (licensed medical professionals only). I called the location to ask them to have the licensed practioner sign off on the paper and fax it to my employer. It took multiple attempts and a week for them to be able to simply have the dr sign under the MA’s signature for the read. Not being able to go into the OR at work caused a real issue for that week.
Quick and pleasant, as pleasant as a physical that your employment depends on could be. Lots of happy smiling staff acting professionally, nice atmosphere and clean facility.
Turned me away for COVID symptoms. My symptoms had nothing to do with covid. No symptoms remotely similar. They wouldnt let me explain and turned me away.
They were fairly fast and effective, but felt as if they didnt want me to be there.
Called in to get directions because IVR directions didnt give specific directions as to what direction to turn on Archwood east or west. So I called back to speak with someone who was no help at all. I was on E Emerling which is the street next to the building and the girl kept saying i dont know where youre at thats not the way I come. She asked someone else and they didnt know either. I just so happened to look up and to the left there was the building. I signed in and advised them where the street was just in case someone else would need directions in the future. They nonchalantly answered ok and kept on with their personal conversations. As I waited the heavier Caucasian girl stood at the counter to continue with her conversation along with the profanity use it was very unprofessional. When i looked up at her she continued on as if she said nothing wrong. Thats not something I want to hear first thing in the morning at 8 a.m.
They do a fantastic job. Tho extremely busy, everyone I encountered was polite, nice and helpfull. I was impressed by the staff.
This is a great place to get quick and inexpensive sports physicals. The staff is awesome and the facility is clean. We were super impressed.
They perform the wrong TB screening on me, call me back in from the parking lot, then place me back in the waiting room behind the other 15 patients waiting to be seen to perform the correct TB test on me. I waited 2 hrs for their mistake.
I was hurt at work needed stiches I hate hospitals and the like but they made me comfortable and I felt nopain got eight stiches outside two inside and it was painless urauh to the doctor and nurses.

Its like they take joy in making you jump through every beaurocratic hoop imaginable. Terrible wait time, uneducated doctors, just a bunch of covering the ass of corporate interests. They took my temperature for a torn muscle. They had about five doctors ask me the same questions over and over again, and the answers were already on my forms. They made me come back for a follow-up and did the same thing all over again. They told me I didnt need an x-ray and then gave me five anyway. Waste of time and money. Dont go here if you need real medical attention.

Thieves, took me $130 for drug and alcohol test never gave me results. They gave me some phone number to call from different company, I called the other company and they said they dont have any tests for me or under my name. I called back Concentra they already knew who I was so they said we will call you back and never did. I will sue these thieves just because I wont give them my money for nothing

There is a bit of a wait for some testing, depending on the number of workers and the number of walk-ins, since there are no appointments. I was advised by staff that seems to be a good time to get through reasonably quickly, and I had no problems.

2022-02-22This place is so short-staffed and crazy busy. I waited over 5 hours for a physical. Everyone there was waiting that long. The only reason I’m giving two stars is because the staff were awesome! They were so joyful and doing their best to keep up with the craziness of the day (they said everyday is like this). But I feel so bad for them! No one should have to work like this and no patient should wait this long. No one there had eaten all day because the staff got no breaks and the patients had to wait in the lobby or their cars and not leave. So terrible. Gotta love bureaucracy and government healthcare.

2022-07-18There was some confusion with the procedures that my company wanted done but the staff at Concentra in Akron did a good job figuring everything out. They got me to the back as quick as possible and finished off the procedures that I needed done that were in question. Good place for a physical!

2022-04-11The process for a physical without a drug screen was rough. There weren’t enough chairs in the waiting room for all the people that were there and they had an emergency injury come in so one of the doctors was with that person for along time and I work in healthcare so I’m realistic I know things happen. But I arrived at 11:28a.m. I left at 2:55p.m. However I will say they are all very friendly and kind and good at what they do. I know they were busy but it was just a bit much, especially when people who were coming in after me where getting seen way faster then me and that’s ok I get it but 3.5 hours for a physical that took 20 minutes? The doctor however was wonderful and actually did a complete physical and was so kind and genuine. She was what saved the entire visit because after being sat in a room at 1:10p.m and no one speaking to me again until 2:30p.m I was pretty angry. I should have said something or asked if I would be being seen soon but like I said I get it. It was just a bit much.

2022-03-14Med tech was great very personable. Doctor Lopez was very self absorbed and considered herself and her opinion far more important than is true in reality. I was released from city hospital which is in the top ten percent nationally of neurology departments, with a clean bill of health yet that was not good enough for her and she nearly cost me my job.

2022-07-18Called them because my injury from work was back and was told to just ice it. I continue to ice for weeks with no relief and Im still in pain. So called them back, was put on hold for a long time and then the call hang up on me. I called again and was put on hold again and the called got hang up. So I called the 3rd time and the lady who answered I guess is on her period, she was just not pleasant and I told her, I said I just got hanged up twice. She rudely reply I didnt hang up on you. Unprofessional! I dont know why my work keep sending me to this place. Im requesting a different workers comp doctor. This place is very unfriendly with people answering the call unpleasantly and you get put on hold for long periods.
