Community Park in other cities:
Sweet Corn Festival is always a treat and fun. I love all the booth and food trucks. I hope I get to go next year. This was an event held at the community park and the park is always in good shape, no dog poop or trash in sight and well kept grounds, we will have to have a picnic there one day.
The community park in Fairborn Ohio out by the Kroger superstore is always a great place to spend the day. A lot of playground features for children and many benches to sit and eat at plus Pavilions and barbecuing stations and a beautiful pond to boot to spend the afternoon sitting beside and relaxing. The restrooms are open now also which makes it a bonus.
Lots of things to do like three play areas, the theater, their events, tennis courts, basketball courts, disc golf, walking/running trails, and fishing. Theres cracks in some of the four courts but not large enough to trip on nor change ball directions. There are benches that you can sit at to rest along the paths. There are a few weeds in the tennis courts though.
Beautiful park. Nice paths for walking or running, I see lots of people with kids and dogs enjoying it. Nice pavilions with picnic tables and grills as well as a good fishing pond and really fun disc golf course, which is where I spend most of my time here. Its a heavily wooded course but with some big wide open holes as well, and so much beautiful nature. I dont think Ive ever played a round without crossing paths with some deer and there are tons of mushrooms and flowers and squirrels. By far one of my favorite courses
I love this park, its beautiful. There are wide open spaces for a nice picnic or just laying out on a blanket and reading a book. There are play areas for little ones, an amphitheatre and pavilions. I like to walk the paved trails as well. Lots of shade in some areas to get a break from the sun. Its definitely worth going to get way and have some peace and quiet.
This is a fantastic park! Seriously, as far as everyday neighborhood parks go, I dont know what more you could ask for. Its huge, with lots of great things like tennis and basketball courts plus baseball diamonds and even volleyball courts. It has more than one nice, modern playground. Lots of big shelter houses and nice restrooms with electricity and running water. It has a basic exercise park and long, winding paved trails. It even has a nice wooded area with trails, too.
I love this park! Its sprawling, clean, and the walking trail is accessible and well maintained. Nobody creepy hanging out there that Ive ever noticed, and even though its right on Dayton Yellow, it doesnt feel like youre next to a busy road. The park is well lit and the people are friendly. I just wish they had more water fountains because its actually quite large and there is no water near the theater. A great place to walk doggos.
It is a huge park near the Dayton area, you have a high school just beside it.- There is a big amphitheater in the park.- Some good shelters available for picnics or events.- Long walkways for walking/jogging/running with lot of tree cover and greenery.- Tennis courts are available in the park.- Good play area for kids and overall a nice place to relax and spend sometime.
I went to the Community Park for a 4th of July event a few weeks back on my trip to Ohio. The place has a huge entertainment space, I didnt even get to see the whole thing. Beautiful, lush area with a kids play area, a space with trees, God theres a whole pond in there. Gorgeous place, loved it.
Honestly, what cant you do here? Theres plenty of sport fields between the baseball/softball, soccer, basketball, and even disk golf! The large path that starts at the entrance is great if you looking for a casual stroll. The play grounds for the kids in the top middle and lower portion of the park give a good variety for all those little adventurers. And those looking for a little laid back time to get away the ponds are a great fishing spot (they bite at nearly anything)
Community park is a great set up! The have a pond, 3 separate playground areas, shelter houses, gazebo,a workout area with actual gym equipment, restrooms, ball fields and a nice walking path. Located at the middle playground area is an outdoor amphitheatre with seating. Its just an all around great park with a lot of amneties!
I would love to say that this park is a safe and family friendly atmosphere. We were threatened by disc golfers and called explicitly racist slurs. Stay away from the disc golf area, the rest of the park seems ok. Its a shame theyre allowed to monopolize and ruin beautiful areas like this - the park itself is big and very pretty. There are multiple shelters and playground areas, as well as a few great walking and biking trails.
This is a huge local park thats great for hosting parties and events at any of the numerous gazebos. The disc golf course is great too, plenty of terrain and obstacles to keep things interesting. The markers for the course arent to scale, though, which can make finding the pin or next tee difficult at times.
Great place to walk, hike, host picnics, play softball, volleyball, baseball, soccer, tennis, fish for tiny fish, play frisbee golf, watch fireworks, hold festivals, play on the playground, or play Pokemon Go. Mostly clean and kept up, does have restrooms, but the ones closer to the front get the attention (when they are open). Oh! And an amphitheater for concerts or presentations
Great little get-a-way spot in Fairborn ohio. Several shelters for functions as well as playground area for kids. Disk golf course (not the greatest) but at least they have one. There is also a walking track that circles around the park an outdoor ampitheatre and the greatest thing about this place is if you go all the way back there is a nice little fishing spot! Lots of childhood and teenage memories at this place!
Its a nice park they have shelters where you can have picnics they have an Amphitheater where they show movies its a little Pond to go fishing in it its got a lot of activities to it and its pretty big Park they got softball fields basketball I think people would enjoy it if they would go
That PARK offices needs to info there RENTERS BETTER. Our family uses the most far shelter. Nevertheless, here comes the RENTER IDIOT with her permit two hour after our family was there: First come first serve. Well nevertheless, the Fairborn Park Rangers did there job well manner too

2022-01-14Always fun to have a walk in Fairborn Community Park. The trial in the front part of the park had been updated on November 2021 to make it wider with new pavement.

2020-05-09This is a very nice park...very large and spread out. There are a number of playgrounds and picnic tables. I enjoy the pond area the most. People fish there and that is where you will find the most wildlife. Being a wide open place with plenty of parking, it has been fairly popular during COVID-19. The best time is late summer when they have the sweet corn festival, but then it is really crowded.

2019-05-16Its a beautiful park. From the trees to the grass to the pond. I do recommend that if its rained there in the last few days wear rain boots. That place floods and holds water well. But still a fun place to go. I must also add if you are fishing there and need to use the bathroom. It feels like a nice hike getting there, even though you can see it from the pond. Once you are there it is a comfortable setting for a park bathroom. So clean and nice. Fresh paint and I saw no spiderwebs. There is a playground and disc golf there. Several places to reserve for a nice big family picnic. If you are in the fairborn area and looking for a nice outdoor place to relax. Swing on by.

2018-08-16This park is having more and more events and Im so happy because its beautiful here. They have three sections lowest has a pond for fishing, trials for hiking and exploring, and kids playgrounds. Second level has a amphitheater every Friday free music and a food truck, playground and actual bathrooms, swing that overlooks whole park below. On entrance, at the top I call it, baseball stadiums, walkway around entire place, exercise equipment, playground, trials, and huge open area run play or have events like car show we went to there last. Great place for family pictures too!!

2021-04-24My grandson and I stopped here on a Friday night in April. There was kids baseball game happening in the field next to the playground so the parking lot was full of cars. You could hear the excitement of the parents, kids and fans. My four year old grandson spent a lot of time on the swings. He kept asking for me to push him higher! After that we ran around and climbed up the rock wall. My grandson likes going down the slide on his stomach. Soon the noise from ballfield stopped & even more kids began to run, jump & play around us. Climbing on big rings was last thing we did. This is such a nice park. In addition to the jungle gym and swings & the ball field there are library boxes & excellent portalets.Until next time be kind to each other. #communitypark @yelpcincy #swings #junglegym #fairborn

2019-09-27Its a pretty decent playground thats just straight ahead from the gates. The parking lot is very close to the playground equipment and I like that for a quick run to get water. The only downfall I see is that it is not a handicap accessible equipped playground.

2021-07-30A very nice park conveniently located just off of 675 in Fairborn, OH. The park has many recreational facilities including basketball, volleyball, playground, walking trails and shelter houses with grills installed. The reason for my visit however is the frisbee golf. This park holds (arguably) the best frisbee golf in the Dayton area. Ill go ahead and say it, its better than Belmont. Its more challenging, less crowded and more comfortable in the sun with lots of shade.
