Honestly the school and community do a terrible job of maintaining the garden and making it accessible to the rest of westerville and its inhabitants. Trash and debris litter the ground and the gardeners do not take their time to pick up or cleanup messes before they leave. That being said there is a large amount of available fertile space for gardening and a couple sheds with all the materials to maintain ones plot. There is even a small garden tent that is good for young plants when not overrun with weeds and bugs, a fire pit that I presume is open for use and an onning with picnic benches in the center for gatheringsMany people grow small fruits, vegetables, and flowers with the exception of one nice plot of tea herbs.

I may be a touch biased, as I do volunteer and attend the university that is near the garden - however, the Community Garden is a sweet little garden space with both pollinator/native garden spaces and food garden spaces that volunteers use to educate about the importance of both! There is a Harvest Festival held here every fall, come check it out if you are in the area around that time!

Small garden run by Otterbein University. A little hard to find uf you dont know the entrance to the garden is tucked into the trees and you have to follow the stone path to the second gate after the first gate.

This is an eye sore to everyone. Great idea with horrible execution. Please get this cleaned up and get rid of the junk that looks like trash!
