Could not have been more pleased with the Hartville, Ohio Comfort Suites Hotel. We booked the meeting room to conduct a 3 day training session. The room was perfect for the set we needed. The staff had it set up as we needed it and made sure there was ample coffee and water in the room for our participants. We also stayed at the hotel. The facility is well maintained, very clean, and safe. We will definitely be back if we receive training requests. The staff are extremely professional.

The GOOD- Pleasant and clean hotel, no concerns regarding noise or other issues. Very few options in the area so this is very good news.The GREAT- I booked a room in advance through Choice Hotels (parent company of Comfort Suites) for New Years, but as luck would have it, several members of my family tested positive for COVID and were symptomatic. The staff member at the 800 number for Choice Hotels contacted the Hartville location, and they agreed to move my booking to a later date. Since I paid in advance, cancellations were not possible.Again, this is very good news, as it shows the local hotel wanted my business as a guest, and the parent company wanted me continue booking hotels. I would definitely recommend staying here.

This is a nice, clean hotel with helpful staff and decent coffee in the lobby. The have a market area which is mostly snacks, but convenient.
Loved the thought that went into everything from where the electronic hookups were to the extra hooks in the bathroom. Loved the cut out for shower so you could turn it on without getting wet. Comfortable bed and layout. P

Hotel was nice but seemed very understaffed. No one was ever at the front desk. Usually had to wait about 5 minutes before someone would appear. No maid service. When I pulled out the sleeper sofa there was stains on the sheets. Was expecting more after reading a lot of positive reviews. Heard people from the floor above us walking around all night.

I have stayed at this hotel a couple of times. It is very clean and spacious. The beds are super comfortable. You can walk to Hartville Kitchen, Hardware and even the Marketplace.

Choice Hotels always have positive results. Pool and Jacuzzi was temperature regulated. O yea a Great complimentary breakfast. All of building was Clean as new from the lobby down to the toilet. Properly Disinfected and all levels of Cleanline. Customer service was all polite and very informative. Only issue was no towels was in gym or pool. Had to walk to front desk all 2 times of attending the pool

This was a very clean motel. Did not eat breakfast there, but was made welcome and accomodations were good for our group of 13 couples who were meeting together.

This was the best pet friendly hotel I have stayed in. It was very clean and comfortable.
Had an issue with additional charges not provided at time of booking or in the email of charges sent to me before I travelled. They clearly made an error. The desk clerk was rude when I asked about the additional charges. A call to the manager later in the week did little to help and she made no attempt to provide a satisfactory resolution for me-The Guest. Their high standard of Guest Relations failed twice. Unusual for this hotel chain.

This hotel was probably the best hotel Ive stayed at under $100 before taxes. It was 1 mile away from my first delivery the next day so that was nice. Safe little town just outside of Akron.
I needed a quick place to stay but didnt want to stay in Akron, OH. Found this hotel on my Choice APP and decided to give it a try. It is a little off the beaten path but well worth the small trip (30 min southeast of Akron, OH). The hotel is amazing, it almost seems like it was just built. Check in took 2 minutes (no kidding), the gentleman already had my keys all set to go. Got to my room and WOW! Clean, spacious, and most of all comfortable. Breakfast was just like any other breakfast during Covid (grab and go), but I must say the coffee was pretty darn good. Would recommend and if I never need to stay here again I wouldnt second guess it.
We will stay here again for sure! Hope by then the breakfast will be better than what was offered, and that was the only reason I didnt give 5 stars. A super nice place to stay.

We needed a pet friendly place to stay to split up our 14 hour drive back to IL. The hotel was perfect for our family of 3 plus our dog. Lots of food options near the hotel, the staff was so friendly and everything was clean and comfortable.

Traveling out if state for business. Had my wife and small dog with me. This hotel was very pet friendly and made us feel welcome. The only thing I didnt like was the policy of bringing my dog in and out of the side or rear entrances.

My shower was dirty with mildew in the crevices. The couch in the room is old and torn. Its to expensive and not worth the price.

It started out Great! Very clean for our first night. Due to Covid the housekeeping staff was not required to clean the bathroom or make the bed. So of course, we were not happy about that, but willing give that a pass. The problem came our last night where the room above us had many people in it, who were running and jumping across their floor all night,, as well as a dog, who kept barking through the night. 2 calls to the front desk and finally they were moved. The next morning we asked that our room be comped for the inconvenience and we were told no, they werent going to do anything. We didnt get a call back as promised. This is poor customer service and the next time we need to stay close to Akron, well be going to a different hotel.

Our room had bedbugs which I didnt discover till morning. Im really upset I spent $170 to be bit up and stressed out. Im still super upset and freaked out by the whole experience. We stayed in the past with no issues, now staying in any hotel is going to cause me anxiety. Wish I could afford an RV to avoid hotels.

Surprisingly large room. However calm a spotlight from floor level shown up into our room and was disturbing as far as trying to get to sleep.
I was greeted as a frequent visitor to the hotel and my stay was pleasent.
I was unable to receive a good nights rest and sleep due to the hotel apparently housing guest who made and created disturbance of noises ( knocking on doors on floors above and below; running in the halls, and some other uncertain sounds) from 11 pm- 5 am

If I could give no stars I would first off if you are a person of color DO NOT go here I have never seen people treated unfairly when we get into the room there was food in the sofa drinks left in the refrigerator the sheets were stained as if they didn’t change the sheets they just remade the bed when addressed we were basically blown off fast forward once checked out I notice they charged a extra fee I was told the room was dirty I then told them yes I know I complained about it I was told unfortunately we can’t refund the money but they could offer a complimentary stay I have never experienced anything like this before one of the workers (which I won’t name they still are employed) informed me they always act as if a room is dirty so they can charge a cleaning fee and if they didn’t refund my money they are willing to be a witness to what’s going on inside of the establishment.
I wish this hotel was available in every city that I travel to. Top notch from check in to check out. Good beds, clean room, extra friendly staff. My kind of hotel

The staff was excellent, made us feel welcome from the beginning. The room was very clean with very little outside noise. The breakfast was good but not great. I would definitely stay at this hotel again. We had our dog with us and the pet accommodations were also good.
This Comfort Inn was by far the nicest one we have ever stayed in. Only four years old, so everything is still shiny, new and clean. The location is great with some great places to eat nearby and Americas Largest Hardware store is a must see. Our room was spacious, beds were very comfortable with great pillows. Loved the double bowl sinks in the BR. Breakfast was included and it was very good. The lady who managed the breakfast area was very pleasant and helpful. We traveled up the East Coast last week staying at several different hotels and the personnel at this hotel were by far the friendliest and most helpful .

2022-06-10This should be the flagship for the brand. The room I had this year was so nicely arranged - a sitting area with a small sectional, a half wall divider between it and the 2 queens. There is a closet, luggage bench, desk, as well as a coffee nook with a fridge.It is located next to Hartville Kitchen, and 2 buildings from the Hartville Hardware store. Which is, by the way, worth a visit! Anything you could want, it there. Including a model house! So definitely will be back.

2022-06-18Was a bit disappointed in this stay at this particular hotel. The pool water looked murky and the hot tub had a weird film in the water.

2022-04-10Took my two 8 year old nieces for a girls trip. They had a great time swimming, doing their nails, games, ordering pizza in and unlimited snacks! We did pottery the next day Hot Pots in Alliance, OH. Great memories had.
