Though the menu here is the best in our area, the fact that you cannot walk in to purchase makes this location extremely inconvenient for an out-of-towner like myself. The pick-up times fill up very quickly, and even if I were able to secure one, it generally is in the middle of the afternoon or early evening which is just not an option for me most days.PLEASE bring back in-person order and pick up ASAP so I can give yall the great rating you otherwise deserve.
Best in town from people, prices, being quick. In an out. Hope they install heaters outside during the winter time though for when we stand in line. Granted not a long line but you know Dayton wind in the winter. Also, I read a review with someone talking about the Latina Chick being rude. She is always nice to me and gave me a free tray for the reopening. So she’s good in my book. Keep up the good work.
Before today I would of given this place a 5 star no problem. Today my order along with multiple other were messed up. The gentleman in front of me was charge for items but they were never place in his bag. They did not have what I ordered but still sent the text saying it was ready for pick up, once I get there after a 45min drive they informed me they were out of what I ordered. They didnt even attempt to contact me to let me know. Also the lady waiting on me was rude and unhelpful, that was a first there because everyone is normally extremely nice.
BEST Dispensary in OHIO!! Staff is courteous, efficient, knowledgeable, resourceful and handling this pandemic like a boss! The State has made it unbearably difficult for the patients to understand and receive their medication. The hoops the patients and their caregivers have to jump through make this program almost not worth it. THANK YOU Strawberry Fields Dayton! 🙏👏
This is the worst dispensary in the Dayton area. There is always a line and you always have to wait in it regardless of whether you order ahead or just show up. To make things worse, the line is outside the building right next to the road so it feels very exposed for a pharmaceutical business (try to picture CVS making you stand in line outside to pick up prescriptions) AND its not even covered so youre totally exposed to the elements the whole time. Make sure you wear comfortable shoes when you go to this place because you not only have to stand in line forever, but you also have to walk there because there is no parking at the building and the surrounding neighborhood loves towing cars out (Ive seen it happen several times). If you have questions or need to change an order dont bother calling because they dont answer the phone, and the times Ive asked the staff about the products on site they just tell me they dont know and that I should Google it. The only time I ever go to this place is when they have a significant discount on a product my preferred dispensary doesnt have; if I can get it elsewhere--even at full price--I will because I really hate going to Strawberry Fields Dayton.
They have a decent selection, and a really nice staff. My biggest complaint is the parking lot. A lot of us have medical conditions that make it hard to get out. You have to stand outside year round here. Usually they are pretty quick but I have waited for a while before. Other than that they are worth a visit !!
The variety and the deals are always great. But this location really sucks for convenience. You can only order online and the time slots get full damn near immediately. I once tried to place an order at exactly when they opened and it wouldn’t let me place it saying the slots were already full that day. They will NOT answer their phones or email you back so communication is the worst of anywhere I’ve ever been. If someone closer to me sold certified products still I’d go there or anywhere else. But because of the products they carry I still frequent the place often.
Never in my life have I been treated sodisrespectfully trying to obtain my medicine. I placed an order, they said they filled it. I arrived last night at 6:25 to a young woman who was locking up. I asked can I get my medicine and she replied nope! We close at 6:30 So we have time to get our things together. I was shocked, I cant remember a time when cvs turned me away because they had to put their coat on. Now my med. Are not in stock today. Unbelievable you guys should be ashamed of yourself, thanks for the compassion
They always have the items that I need when the Monroe location is out of stock. The checkout area is very tiny & not for me. I have extreme anxiety & I feel claustrophobic in here. The building is small so theres no going into the back since thats where all the stock is kept. Just really wish this location was larger so we could shop in the back & not have to order for pickup only.
Love that they have what I need when my local Columbia Care dispensary in Monroe doesnt. I am not a fan of the tiny area that our orders are picked up. Its very tiny & I am claustrophobic adding to my anxiety. Just grateful I was in & out of there in 5 minutes or less.
Far faster and more affordable. Staff is all fast and friendly except for the one Latina chick with dark hair. She is rude and entitled and doesnt fit with other staff. Like the broken piece that stands out like a sore thumb. I visit the store multiple times a week so I know
So first off I love this location. They have great products and overall the staff is very friendly and respective. My only complaint which isnt gonna stop me from coming back or anything is that they need to do a better job keeping track of the days. On my last visit before today I was told I had 10 days left,I always ask how many days I have before I purchase because I like to know exactly what Im ordering so it makes life easier for the employees and the other customers standing in line and normally they tell you without having to ask and I was told I had 10 days so I went on to purchase 6 days worth of flower. I show up today thinking I have 4 days left because 10 minus 6 is 4 but when I get to the counter Im told I only have 1 day. Now mind you I know how it is to work in retail and customer service it can be trying at times dealing with so many people on a daily basis I get it. I go on to tell the woman that I should have 4 days and explained I was told I had 10 days last visit. She didnt yell or get loud but she was very short with me and told me Well Im counting that you have 1 day and looked at me like I just spit in her face. I was just trying to explain what I was told by the last employee who helped me and I spoke in a very calm and courteous manner. Like I said I love this place and the people and I will continue to spend my money here but its not the customers fault if the employee miscounts the days so an Im sorry sir but they must have miscounted last time would have did just fine instead of looking at me like I had 3 eyes on my face. Overall though this place is the best cannabis store in the Dayton area and I know my money isnt making or breaking this place I just hope they get better with the days thing. I will actually start keeping track of them myself I just thought that was part of what they do is keep track on the computer. If youre a medical marijuana patient in the Dayton area I highly recommend you go here they are by far the best in Dayton.
They literally NEVER answer the phone. Online orders Only!I drove over an hour each way to pick up my order, but they didnt have my pre-ordered items ready! After explaining my situation, the guy flat out lied to my face & said that he had ALREADY asked the people that fill the orders & that they didnt have time to fill my (3 item) order, & that there is nothing else he can do. There is often a line of people in the front of the store waiting to pick up their orders, but on this particular day there was only 1 other person there, so Im not sure why they couldnt take a few minutes to fill my very small order. He said I would have to come back the next business day, but since they are closed Sunday & Monday, I was just out of luck. In the end, I had to go without my much NEEDED medication for 3 days, & had to drive an extra 2.5 hrs, totaling 4 hours & 48 minutes.So... If you enjoy wasting time & money, only to be treated like you dont matter, this is the best place to shop.
Good store products when they have their discounts on. Good indigent discounts for those that qualify. Terrible customer service. Worthless product information. Incapable and unwilling to use their phone, honestly I am not sure why they have a number. So of you have zero questions, order online very early in the morning and show up at your pick up time all should be mostly smooth.
BRING BACK THEIR TIPS!!! I believe they deserve them! Hands down my favorite dispensary here in Dayton. Easy ordering, wide variety of product, line dwindles down quickly... they’ve never messed up my order. They always have Klutch and that is my favorite. Their prices are a lot better than other places around here as well.... the people who work in the front area are always very friendly and informative... I like this place ☺️☺️
Best dispensary in the region! Have only been a handful of times so far, but quality selection and good prices combined with a super efficient staff make the drive worth it for me. The longest that I have had to wait for my preorder was less than 5 minutes, and have yet to see more than a few people in front of me. Keep up the good work and see you again soon!
The 1st day I went another patient was talking nasty to me. The staff stopped her immediately and told her to shop somewhere else if she was going to bother the other patients. The quality is some of the best Ive ever had. The prices are reasonable. It just needs an awning to protect the customers from the heat and rain. It could be bigger.
I have visited this store numerous times and have had no problems with service or sales as long as you use the online ordering. If you try to call their phone number you may or may not be able to get through as they only have one phone line and probably hundreds of people calling a day. The only drawback to this store is that they do not have an awning so you have to stand outside in all kinds of inclement weather doesnt matter how hot or cold whether its raining or snowing.
This was my first time coming. The staff were really helpful. I didnt realize that I had to pre order online and they still took me in and gave me the rundown on whats what in the friendliest manner. I was so worried about being an inconvenience and they were quick to wash that worry away.. I will definitely come back!
1st time there. Preordered, got there had to wait outside in line and when I finally got in was not advised before I arrived that half of what I had ordered was not available. Staff cashier got snappy with me because I advised him that they should have called or text me about my order not just try to sell me something else with a higher price. I advised that this would be my 1st and last time there. BAD BUSINESS and the attitude SUCKS!
Great products, knowledgeable staff, frequent sales and decent prices.Only reason I didnt give 5 stars is the location lacks parking and the store is very busy every time ive visited so walk ins are not common.I recommend online ordering early in the morning so they can secure your product beforehand.
Always friendly, good prices and products. Until recently the sales were great. Recently I have noticed that you raise prices on products on sale days and then put on a sale . So when you say 20 percent off its not actually 20 percent off. Might be legal but we know what you are doing . You wont add 5 dollars to the price on a 10 percent off because you would piss everyone off and cause tsunami of complaints but you will when you have 20 and 25 percent off. If I have to Always pay an extra 5 bucks then I will just go to the dispensary thats 15 miles away on 127. Why would I drive the extra 20 to 25 miles. Just saying. I still give you good reviews in hopes you hear this and it changes.
This place is a joke! If you look at the pictures that I provided you can see that they had a strand which was super sour orange for $18! When it was time to go pick up my order they called me and said that they would not honor the price! Dispensaries think they can get away with this and do false advertising. The reason that they are able to do this in Ohio is because there are no checks and balances. The board of dispensaries in Ohio never call you back and the people at the dispensary know that so they do what they want! Way to go Strawberry Fields!!
I like this place because its cheaper, however sometimes it is hard to even go there on busy days because all of their pick-up times are taken. If you do get a pickup time you can almost bet on waiting in line since the inside of the facilty is super small and only 1-2 customers are allowed in at a time. Very clustered front lobby and its hard for several people to even be in there at the same time but overall this place isnt too bad.
This store hasnt been in business too long and is already practicing shady business tactics.several times Ive been the first person in line for (sales) and only to find out what they advertised wasnt available or ((sold out!))when its not possible to sell out before the first patient shows up.the clerk was rude once i asked about the false advertising of products and told me i can just go somewhere else.buyer beware.they do a bait n switch tactics too.theyll list a higher % product and try to sell you a way lesser % option once youve driven to them.this place deserves 0 stars...
Always wonderfully pleasant. It’s a shame that their phone doesn’t work but I haven’t had any issues with their online ordering. If anyone was able to get a call through I would put 5 stars but so far their phone number is useless. They’re always very friendly. A lot of people complain that you have to wait outside but I don’t think they realize there’s literally no where else we could wait. Im not sure that you could keep more than two people in there and maintain social distancing. If the line is moving slow it’s because there’s a patient taking their time deciding what they want and fishing through their wallet, not because the employees don’t keep things moving. Many don’t look at the menu until they’re already there and weigh their options for a long time. The menu is available online and is updated throughout the day so a slow line is really on us.
Excellent customer service, great prices especially on sale days, and top notch medicine. They recently changed to online and call in ordering, which at first I was reluctant about, but I have been very pleased with the speed of my visits since they changed! Love having accessable medicine close to home, and have no desire to try other stores nearby.
Use to really enjoy this place but then I quickly realized how poorly it is ran. You can never place a call in order because the phone never gets picked up. Just sent to voicemail with no returned call ever. They tell you to “just keep calling” after twenty tries later still no results. Which forces you to go there in person which you’ll end up sitting in line for hours on end. No matter the time of day you go they’re incapable of getting people in and out in a quick fashion. Better off to go to Pure Ohio. In and out within 30 in the longest of lines. It’s worth the extra drive. Strawberry fields has turned into a joke of a dispensary.
Young Dark haired gentleman at the door controlling the flow was VERY NICE to me (as a first timer who didn’t know what to do) as well as all the other clients. The bald guy is rude..I ordered online and once I went in on my turn it was truly a professional atmosphere where the young lady waiting on me was wonderful!!!
Youre better off to do your own research for what your ailment is before you go in. Their staff is limited in the knowledge of what product is good for certain ailments and youll only get a general response to your question. So if you want to try a trial and error approach, and you have a lot of money go for it. But if youre looking for a specific products that will help with your ailment, then still do your own research. And the one main thing that I thought was important, they dont even know how each one of their products is produced, what chemicals besides natural are in them from their supplier. And dont even know if their products were flushed at the end to get the existing chemicals out. They need to train their staff in these fields. The more knowledge you can give your recipient, the better that you can do in educating them what product they might need.
Went to Strawberry Fields yesterday. Could barely walk when I got there due to severe arthritis. The staff was friendly, helpful and non judgemental. I went home and took some of the products I bought. I woke up this morning feeling better than I have in awhile. Thanks again.
I have definitely changed my mind about this establishment!I tried to simply walk in their door having been there before and an armed man angrily answered the door and said online orders only and shut their door in my face.I have never been to a crack house but Im sure the feeling is similar to trying to enter their establishment. YIKES!!!
Well it is usually a hassle with the online ordering and pick up times not being accurate but they really got me this time I had a 1:30-2 oclock pickup and a wedding At 230 that was only 7 minutes away. I should be able to make it I told my family. Well while standing in the cold I watched 2:30 pass waiting to be called in. At that point i was not happy at all and asked the guard whats up are you still calling 1:30-2 oclock appts in ? He rudely told me they will call my name when theyre ready. Needless to say their poor scheduling and customer service made sure I missed the wedding and that i will not be back to Strawberry Fields and recommended you go elsewhere also. Mad River Remedies is only 5-10 mins away And my experience has always been great there they just dont have many sales.
Amazingly nice staff . With covid going on everything is a mess .. at strawberry fields I feel they go above and beyond to get you in and get you what you need. There is no instore shopping so preorder online is a must . I do wish they would higher another employee to take phone orders because not everyone is good at navigating the web .. this would help get medicine to more folks like me who is not technically savvy. Other than that a 5 star experience .. keep up the good work Strawberry!!
Only problem Ive had is because they wont let you walk up anymore and you have to pre-order, it is a big cluster worse than it was when people would just come up and wait. Why the pre-order? Who knows but theres more people standing out here than there used to be when you could just walk up, its a shame. Great place but this is just a mess!
Haven’t been able to get an order in this year do to the online ordering. It always tells me there’s no available time slots left. This medical game in Ohio is such BS. I have a prescription but can’t access medicine. Even if I got my order in I would have to wait in line outside for at least 20mins. They really need to get access to our medicine more available to us. These private companies can’t seem to catch up to demand.
Dayton Strawberry fields dont care about their patients, only money! They hide/ take off products/ medicine off the ordering siteWhen having sales. I had ordered 14gs of ice cake smalls woke up to they didnt have it available in my cart so I ordered something else but find out they did have some and that they cant switch it out because I had already paid for it. Even tho I hadnt left the store. The ohio medical program is a joke and 80% is garbage. #dobetter #patientsoverprofit
At first I was a little turned off of the store because of the size of the store and the lack of parking, but the staff really take their time with you and it’s grown into my favorite little spot! Prices are comparable with others and they always seem to run good deals. I really love this store!
Going down hill fast. Concerned health risk. Patients waiting outside in the elements for long periods of time further grouping patients together.Phone goes to answering machine, calls not returned.Internet orders not confirmed or out of stock when you arrive and/or not ready at posted time. Of course you do not discover this until after you stand in the rain for some time.Pre-order no longer has its own line which increases the standing in the elements that much longer and exposure to other patients.No respect for the patients time. Poor communication.Employees are wonderful if you ever get to talk with one.
Have you order online I wait 2 hours for pick up then go to pick it up and they say I got to wait in the outside line. What is the use in ordering online when you still got to wait in a line of 20 people when you get there? None of these people ordered online or called in but yet I have to wait behind them. That’s ok though cause we will never spend money at this location again.
Im so grateful to have this place 3 minutes away from my home. The best despensary in Dayton and maybe even Ohio. Ive looked at menus from despensaries all across Ohio and nobody has the selection that this place does! Might have trouble getting thru on the phone or have to stand in long lines but thats also due to Covid-19. They also have online ordering which is super easy and convenient and hassle free. Other than that this is the place you want to be purchasing your flower and other products. They have all of the good brands and strains.
Their website is misinformative. And they dont seem to care. I thought I was getting a hybrid. I ended up with indica. I go there a 2nd time and I explain this to the lady, I had ordered something different. Well I could t find where it said hybrid so I open to check it. No label. But then I found the label it said indica. 2nd time. They said I couldnt exchange because I ripped the bag open.They should have checked my product after I told them their website is wrong. Im never shopping here again. Ill go to anywhere else.
Every time I go there even before 5:30 they are always closed/closing. So I tried calling ahead, nope didn’t work either. They will not answer your call 3/5 out of the time. The parking is atrocious. If you do decide to enter the parking lot be cautious there is a giant hole right as you pull in, trust me if you hit it you’ll feel it in your bones.
Have never had the need to go anywhere else. These girls are great! My 1 recommendation to make EVERYONES day and life easier there - upload your Menu PDF file to your website every morning!!! ( takes about 1 minute) Current menus online are not efficient, hard to view the info you need, and hard to click through on a phone. You have the best variety in Ohio, show it off!!!!!
Not a bad place, small, very little waiting area. Mostly have to wait in your car till they tell you to come in. Selection is ok. The harvest selection is not great but good. (Percentages are decent at best). Prices are on average 5 bucks more than a place like About Wellness Ohio in Lebanon. Honestly if your a strawberry Fields fan, go to thier Monroe location its much better.
Hours posted on both their website and the front door were 10a-6p. I arrived at 545 and the front door was locked. The guard opened the front door and told me they stopped taking patients at 530 and refused service.It was my first time here and I was excited to check this place out. Doubt Ill make a trip to this location again.
Great service from the employees! But I dont understand as to why I have been doing walk up orders since its open and then I was turned away and was told I had to do online. I come back because its %20 and now I can do a walk up. Time wasted trying to figure it out on line to know I could do a walk up ? Im a little confused?!
I normally go to Pure Ohio Wellness but thought Id check out, Strawberry Fields menu and prices. They had 15% off of everything! Of course we decided to try them! If I wasnt paying attention though they wouldve charged me too many days. They enter everything into the system manually. Other dispensaries scan one of the 50 barcodes on the container and it all goes into the computer system. No where to sit inside and wait. You have to stand outside and wait. I think Im going to stick with my, Pure Ohio Wellness.
Probably the worst dispensary in Ohio. Stay away from here unless you want to play a bunch of games. They dont answer their phones so it is pointless to try and call them. They force their patients to stand outside in all weather conditions with no protection. They do not offer a curbside service. There is no reason for us to be forced to preorder when you show up after a preorder and still have to wait in line forever to get what should already be prepared. They only seem to care about profits in not the patients here. You would be better served spending your money at any other dispensary.
Been here 3 times and only had a good experience one of those times. you call and try and get a pick up order and it just rings and rings and rings it’s very rude. people need their medication and this is such a rude and poorly ran dispensary. who wants to go up there and wait outside for up to an hour or more when you can just call? do not recommend this location.
This used to be a great place before covid, now you cant speak to anyone for help, there updates on the menu are never up to date, prices are high compared to Pure Ohio Wellness on Needmore rd, Ive given up on Strawberry fields i hope they get it together soon they have high thc products but not worth the hassle unless you know exactly what you want to order on line, you cant ask questions to humans witch sucks!
Im not a client but my mom is and she always says they help her out and she wont go anywhere else Ill soon be a mmj card holder tho 😆.... Edit from 5 months ago Im now a cardholder and they mess my order up almost every time I go now and the time slots fill up to fast so if they have a deal for a day and you try to gey it you almost never can cause the slots are gone seems very impersonal and it dont seem like they care I end up paying full price here so why not go to another dispensary that Ill have a shot of getting my order that day I hope they get better but I dont see it
Appointment time means nothing here I had an appointment for 11 and I stood outside freezing in line for about an hour while the medicine is good and deal was decent I dont think 20% off is worth catching a cold over pretty dissatisfied with the way they handle the line be prepared to smell about 50 cigarettes lit at once standing in line
Called yesterday to place an order and the phone rang and rang. Nobody picked up the phone. Then answering machine came on and I left name and number. Did this 5 times with the same results. Nobody ever called me back. I went to another dispensary. Very disappointing!
Can anyone tell me if the text that says Your order has been sent to the -. You will receive a confirmation shortly. I never got anything after this text so Im wondering if this is for when my order is ready or did something not process properly and my order didnt go thru all the way
This is usually my go to dispensary pretty good all around but unfortunately today I got online and purchased a product that was advertised as 24% thc (Tier 2) but it was only 19% (Tier 1) I paid over $100 for false advertisement called left voicemail no call back be carful stoners theyre kinda shady friendly but SHADY
This place is a joke now days only online orders been trying to do there online orders for two days been saying at noon store closing soon like your open till 6 drive up there they say there slots has been tookin up how and everytime you call they dont pick up there phone
Not the best dispensary in Dayton you always have to wait long for your order and every time you get to the place they always run out of your supply even if you put your order in online if you put your order online they should have it secured for you when you get there.
Great first visit...fire flowers and outgoing staff...security guard was friendly as well...bummer though to the person across the street who’s car got backed into and the person who hit it just took off...Ah...Dayton I suppose! Kudos to strawberry fields...my forever dispensary
Im a patient of strawberry fields I drive a half hour to go there in dayton got there at ten minutes after 5pm and was told they were taking anymore patients when the cut off time is 530 no one would answer to phone all day but they called today patient appreciation day dont feel appreciated today
This dispensary is run terribleMake you stand outside in the rain to be seenPut on this bogo deal, well it’s only the small sack of 2.8 grams & only what they mark on the menu, no top tier materials tho, only very select items & nothing over 2.8. Don’t waste your time here, shop mad river remedies

2022-07-01This place is the worst. If you can actually get in it’s not terrible, but good luck. The parking lot is non existent and I had the worst experience today. I tried ordering online over and over yet it wouldn’t let me, so I decided to run down there to get it fixed. I got there and they wouldn’t even let me in, saying you had to online order and there was nothing they could do. Where does it say that? Anywhere? I didn’t think so. What is the point of this place?

2022-07-08Well After experiencing the complications with the website the staff was very helpful and made sure that all of my needs was met do not give up on them call back at a different time if they are very busy they cannot take your call theyre like every other business meet their needs as well as yours find out what time they are not busy and then ask your questions they was very helpful and knowledgeable and helping me with everything I need

2022-03-08Double check prices before you go in. I have been multiple times and the products will be more expensive than online said and yes I ordered after midnight when the new sales dropped. Staff is generally very polite and wait times are average.

2022-05-03Great dispensary, great staff, Great choices. Online orders are sketchy though. Place in order for an once that was listed on the 28g filter. I get in the car and notice my order is a half once. Gave them a call and they said there was a mistake on the printing on the web page. I knew the price was cheap but i was expecting an once for the price that it was listed for in the 28g section. I should of noticed when i was checking out but we were socializing. Anyway, I wasnt happy after noticing. So if you have a long drive like me make sure you know what youre getting.
