The guys did an excellent job moving me. I had a 20 truck that needed to be unloaded in 3 different places. 1 piece was a 600lbs gun safe. They pulled up, and got right to work. They were cautious moving furniture, not to bang walls, and taking goid care of my possessions. I couldnt be happier with how things went. Excellent job.
We were supposed to have three hunks but two showed up and they did the work of three! Both gentlemen were friendly and courteous and respectful. The filled our truck carefully and stayed a little longer to help unload the rest of our items after the heavy lifting was done. We would highly recommend them to anyone needing moving labor or full service help.

I called today to get a heavy vanity moved upstairs. They were able to get me in today to get it moved. They were on time (ahead of schedule). Professional and quick. The only downside was cost as it only took 10 minutes but with the hourly rate, the service cost and taxes costs $280. However, they were totally upfront about cost prior to the service and the movers asked if I needed anything else moved as I had them for an hour. I highly recommend

I really wasnt sure how it would work but someone texted me for details and they were responsive and I asked questions which they answered. The next day the driver called me because they were going to be a bit early which was no problem. The movers were kind and helpful. They removed a mattress I had sitting in my entry and a large armoire, plus several more items in my garage. The price was much less than I had anticipated. I will definitely use their service again.
Incredibly well-run company, both on the national level and the local affiliate (Cincinati). Immediate response from a live person if you call either level. Immediate email confirmation when you book. Easy to change/cancel your service. They text and call 30 minutes before they arrive. Professional, fast. Very good pricing—I shopped for least expensive. If you’re put on hold when you call, you are offered a call-back, and they do call you back. But enjoy the music while you’re on hold. If you’ve graduated from any level of school, you’ll LOL!
Mike and Evan were wonderful. They let me know they were on their way and arrived on time. They took extra care with moving everything. The amount they moved in an hour was also amazing. I highly recommend the company and especially our crew.
Shayne and Tyler Shelley did an excellent job loading my two bedroom fourth floor apartment with no elevator. Those stairs are brutal. They did a great job and finished it within the quoted price, even though they were down to two guys.
Hire them! The three-man team was quick, efficient and super careful moving furniture/stuff—not a scratch or bump on any wall. They fit things into the truck like a giant puzzle. Will be hiring them again next week to do more clearing out in preparation for my home being sold.

The movers first moved us to a storage unit. We were so satisfied we used them again to move to our new home. We worked with 6 separate movers from College Hunks and they were all great. The Good: The two-man team was able to get the corner hutch out of the first location and get it to the second location front door with no issues.The Bad: The two-man team was using a furniture dolly and was attempting to bring it in the front door from one of the side angles and said they couldn’t get it the door in as it was too wide. The only solution that was offered ended up placing it in my side yard under a canopy. There was no attempt to think through the problem nor did they call for help.The Solve: Ended up being grade school math. This Corner Hutch is only 21” deep and the door is 36” wide. The hutch needed to be turned on its edge and moved in lengthwise. This was done by two relatives who laughed at how this had been handled and ended up doing this final step in less than five minutes.What’s the difference between 1 star and 5 stars? Thinking through the problem and 5 more minutes.

They were very careful with my furniture and piano. The put everything in the exact right spot. They were careful not to track dirt on the new carpet. They worked hard. Also, I had to change my appointment several times and it was easy online.
These guys saved me after another mover cancelled on me at 7:30 the morning they were scheduled to move all of my furniture and washer/dryer from old to new house. I was on the phone with these guys at 8-8:30, and within just a few hours they were on site and ready to go. Amazing. I called College Hunks because I needed a few pieces of heavy furniture moved to have my hardwood floors refinished. I was very impressed with the rep who told my call. She was very helpful and answered all of my questions. She made changes to the date and time as I changed my mind about when I needed this service. The 2 young meant who showed up were on time, very courteous, and completed the task quickly. They were very careful about how they handled my furniture and were mindful of the walls.I would highly recommend this company and will not hesitate to use them again if the need arises. I feel that the value is very good because I called a couple different companies and College Hunks were very competitive.
I had to make last minute changes the night before our junk removal and they responded quickly after regular business hours. The guys came the next morning on time. They called before arrival and were quick and courteous. They did the job in less than 2 hours; it would have taken me and several co-workers much longer! This crew was spectacular! They arrived within the window assigned and called me a couple times to keep me informed on arrival ETA which was so appreciated because we were an afternoon move and moving day is always chaotic. They were incredibly fast and efficient, we had a lot of heavy awkward furniture but they got it up and down 3 flights of stairs without so much as a nick of a wall or doorway. Polite, courteous, and even kept smiles on faces despite a few challenging moments. We highly recommend them and will definitely be calling for our next move!

Listen, from the moment they walked in I won’t lie I was nervous because of previous movers. The guys Shayne, Will, and Ron kept telling me that they would take care of us, but that didn’t put my mind at ease. Hey, I’m only human. Then the process starts. These gentleman were personable, professional, and pretty fast. They loaded everything and unloaded it in about 4.5 hrs. I actually enjoyed their company and they didn’t damage a single item. They were careful with all of our items and didn’t mind when we asked them to cover our things. They are literally standing right here and I had to stop and write this review. I was able to schedule a same-day appointment w/ a time slot of 4pm-6pm. I was called a little after 4 and the guys arrived shortly after. They were in and out within 15 mins (sectional removal). This was my first time booking and would do it again, absolutely no issues. And they were cheaper than the other junk removal places I’d looked up.
I rented a dump truck three times over the winter and did all the loading myself it was the same size of the one that gentleman brought today. I paid significantly less but had to do all of the labor and it took a long time. These guys were able to separate the good stuff from the garbage load it all up from the basement the garage and various rooms throughout my house in less than the two hours of their window. Two hard-working guys of a very polite and did not stop or slow down even when we offered them a bite to eat and something to drink. If you want it done and off your plate pay a little extra hire college hunks.

This was a fantastic experience. The price quote was pricey, but I still made the appointment to let them come give me a definite price. The price they told me at the appointment was significantly lower than the quote, and they took it on the spot as soon as I approved the cost. The Hunks moved my old Refrigerator off second floor and installed my new one. Excellent experience after trying Menards and Lowes delivery service for Refrigerator. Neither one would attempt this one. These Hunks can move anyone. The two Hunks had three more Hunks come to help. A pleasure for sure.

Robert and Cooper did a wonderful job moving several pieces of antique furniture from my Mother in law’s home to our new home. They were in communication about a delay from an earlier job, so we knew exactly when to expect their arrival. They took great care of everything, being careful to wrap the furniture to protect it from scratches. They were also very accommodating and gracious with any requests we made about the details of where to park the truck, what should go where, and even were patient and kind to my three year old daughter who was very determined to “help”! This was a wonderful experience and we will certainly be contacting Robert and Cooper again when my Mother-in-law is ready to move into our home after the holidays.

College Hunks recently helped me move. I appreciated the super fast response time from the time I completed the form online through to the day of the move. These guys were so trustworthy and reliable. Never at any point throughout the move was I worried about them stealing or damaging any of my items. They had great customer service and communication throughout the move. I would definitely use them again. While the name is a little risque, I found that Cam, Cooper and Todd were able to joke and have a good time throughout the move day which is definitely welcomed when it can be such a stressful day in general with so much to do during the day.

Wow, I cannot say enough good things about our moving help. My husband and I were preparing to move from Cincinnati, OH to Jacksonville, FL. We were driving a rented truck ourselves but have disabilities so we simply needed College Hunks to help with the loading as we lived in a 3rd floor apartment with no elevator. We fully expected the loading to take upwards up 3 to 4hours since we had quite a lot of furniture and boxes and account for the stairs. And everything was HEAVY. We made sure to rent a couple dollies to assist them with the loading. When they arrived, 3 Hunks got out of their truck and I was a little skeptical at first because they seemed a little on the smaller side, possibly not super strong. I even jokingly said “I hope you’re strong!” Turns out much first impression was completely wrong. Not only were they all incredibly strong (they didn’t even use the dollies!), they were ridiculously fast! Despite being on the third floor, they were clearly out our apartment so fast, we couldn’t keep up with packing up last minute boxes! But in a good way. And despite being incredibly quick, they still packed up the truck neatly and organized so nothing shifted or broke during our over 800 mile journey. And all and all, they only spent a little over 2 hours loading the truck so our end cost came out under the original estimate. Another plus. Overall, I would highly recommend College Hunks of Cincinnati and would use them again in a heartbeat.
We had two separate crews one for junk removal and one to move my parents who are in their 80s. The junk remova guys ROCKED. They took everything they could possibly fit as quickly as possible. I apologize for not knowing Theo names. They were great. Tom and Sam who moved the furniture took the time to ask I’d they could move more. They were kind and courteous to my parents and did an AMAZING job for such a reasonable price. We wish we had used the company a couple years ago on a move.

So called to get a basement clear out completed, call a local number and was told they would be out on July 31st between 3 and 5 pm. Almost immediately received a call back after booking this appointment by Tom the GM who said they were overbooked and could he reschedule for Monday from 12 to 2. I agreed. At around 1:00pm , Tom calls to say they are running a little late and it will be between 2 and 4, while this is convenient, I agree. His estimator shows up at 5:05 pm and we do a walk through of my space and the required pieces to remove. He explains additional cost needed for the removal of appliances, carpet, mattresses and televisions. We understand and just ask for a overall bid. He quotes 600 for the project. Happy with this quote we call to book an appointment, a bit weary as the estimator was so late but feeling confident in the work he states he is capable in doing. He says to be sure we book for him to come do the project. So I speak to Tom to have the project scheduled for today, Friday 8/7 from 9 am until 11 am. At 11:20, I have not had anyone call or come to my home. I call the number for Tom and text Michael, my estimator with no response, so I call the corporate number. They put me in touch with Chad, who says he will call me back with the crew that is coming out, I explain I had tried to reach Tom and Michael already and he said he will let me know and call me back. A few minutes later, Dominic calls me and says he will not make it out until around 12:30 or 1pm. I explain to him the quoted price and job to ensure since it is not Michael and his crew that I will not be swindled. Dominic verbally quotes me a different price but says he can not be sure until he sees the project. He does not show up or call as he said he would but left a card on my door. I call back at 1:30 to Tom who tells me they were here and what do I want to make this right. I tell him I want the job done at the quoted price today. He calls me back with a crew that can come by at 4 pm. This crew shows up and walks the project and says they cannot do the job for the quoted price. I said that is not what Tom told me. They call Tom. The come back in and offer me to only haul one truck at 600, even though the original estimate was 1 to 1.25 truck, with a carpet pull up and a full sweep down of the basement. The prices given on a full truck is 589 and additional 1/4 truck is 229, so you are literally offering me to pay more to haul a truck than what you charge????!!! Easy to schedule.They were on time and efficient. They were friendly. The whole transaction took about 10 or 15 minutes tops.It was easy all around and I felt good knowing someone might be able to use SOME of the items.The only recommendation I would have is for you to get a little more refined in your estimates. $169 to $369 is rather a large range. I knew from the get go that the small end was HIGHLY unlikely, so Im not even sure why he quoted it.They also kept leaving the front door open (I was worried Id lose a cat but all is well).

This is my third moving utilizing College Hunks and I am such a huge fan of this company, how they train people and their customer service. Cameron and Chad were extra efficient and helped with every step. They truly cared about the safety aspects of the moving process and making sure my property would be in good shape at my new place! Cameron asked all the right questions regarding anything that needed to be disassembled. This team truly knocked it out of the park.
This place was FANTASTIC! I called at 11:10am and they were there by 1pm...the same day. The college hunks were professional and did an excellent job removing the junk. I would highly recommend this business! Thank you for making a part of my day VERY easy!

Great experience from initial call thru the pick up, including a few reconfirmations that left me feeling very confident they would be there in the appointed window of time and they were. Two other organizations I also hired to pick up furniture did not offer this service. I had to chase them down and reconfirm. The gentleman were extremely polite and friendly and quick with their pick up. This is a particularly stressful time in my life personally to be cleaning out my mothers apartment. They made it go much more smoothly. I would recommend them to anyone.
I had a local move and removal of items to a dumpster. The items were heavy and I needed assistance moving them out of the basement.The company was responsive and kept me informed of the date and time of the move.They emailed to confirm the date and time and called 1/2 hour before arrival. They arrived on time.All of the workers did a good job. They were accomodating and were willing to adjust the move based on the different sizes and items being moved.I have only one concern. While moving items from an upstair office they did not put down any covering to protect a carpet from muddy feet. A minor issue that was fixed with some cleaner and a vacuum.Overall, they were on time, pleasant, helpful, and did the job.I would use them again.
Had an older couch out by the curb to be removed. My pick up was scheduled for late in the day but Tom called to advise they had a gap in the schedule and could stop earlier if that worked for me. They were right on time, polite, and were done in about five minutes. Would recommend and use again!

Arrived on time, were professional and honest. Our items filled a little less than half the truck. Rather than charging us the full half truck price the gentleman charged us a discount rate. Service was excellent, and this was my second time using the service.

College Hunks did a great job! I recently moved from California and needed help unloading my trailer. I had about 20 medium sized moving boxes and a one bedrooms worth of furniture. The guys were very professional and did the entire job in approximately one hour. Would definitely recommend them for future services.
These guys were great. We had a big move from Chicago to Cincy that was so stressful. Brock E and Zach got everything moved into our new place once we got the Uhaul here. I wanted to donate furniture to goodwill and saw that this moving company was associated with them. It was easy to go through Goodwills website and book a time for the truck. There were no hidden fees either.I received a phone call and text message letting me know they were close by. Bill and Andrew showed up soon after that. Both men were professional and kind. I followed the 1/8 truck amount and did whatever could fit in with that. It didnt cost much and they even took some furniture that couldnt be saved to our own dumpster in our complex bc I couldnt carry it. They were truly wonderful and I would recommend this company again and Bill and Andrew are two great guys!

The guys called prior to arriving and did arrive during their scheduled window. The guy gave me a price range to remove all the brush from the property. After loading roughly half they told me to take the rest would cost substantially more. After speaking to a supervisor they offered me $30 off.As someone who works in the service industry where I provide upfront pricing, its extremely frustrating to be told one price only tobe told once the work has started that the price is a lot more.I will not use them again and will make sure anyone who asks about a similar service is told about my negative experience.

One of the worst experiences moving I have ever had. They were an hour late and never called. We had to call the office to find out where they were. They came unprepared with no moving dolly. They took dressers and TV stands with items still in them and tipped them completely over on their tops. They stood my couch on its end and broke the arm. It took them 5 1/2 hours to move a one bedroom apartment with three guys. It was 2 hours over what they quoted us and offered nothing for how slow they moved. They are offering $200.00 for a $800.00 couch. Tom at their office was extremely rude and disrespectful on the phone. I would rather move myself then ever use this company again.
Got a call 25 min in advance, then they arrived on time. Performed a final clear out of a house with a mix of furniture and trash. The three gentlemen who came were very friendly, efficient and professional. I would use them again any time.
I like that the guys/hunks called just b4 they arrived. They were very careful with my walls and decor while removing a couch & loveseat. What I REALLY liked best, was finding out that my gently used set was going to a vet in need!! 🤗 If you need things removed in a stress less way I highly recommend college hunks to come out and get it done for you. One of the guys even gave my neighbor kids a pogo stick he had on the truck...FREE! That was thoughtful too. They were in and out in no time and had manners.

They did a terrible job. They didnt use protective pads when they dragged the refrigerator across the living room. This caused a lot of damage to the floor - scratches and gouges. Apparently, the moving of the refrigerator and the complaints I made were made during the time when the previous owner filed a bankruptcy and was in the process of transferring the ownership to Mr. Chad Rogers. I reached out to the new owner, Mr. Chad Rogers, for assistance. His response/excuse was that he was not the owner at that time. I wish he would be more helpful with my situation. It was so disappointing. If he was very helpful and responsive to my situation, I’d have used his company to get rid of some more junks I have.I advise you not to use CHHJ for the following reasons:(a) If you are concerned about maintaining the good condition of your home, it is better to use professional and experienced movers, not the inexperienced, college-type guys.(b) It is better to work with a company that is not a local owned. The reason is …if something happens and the owner files a bankruptcy or ceases to be the owner, the new owner will tell you that he has nothing to do with it and will not solve the issues you are having. It is wiser to work with a big company—they are more likely to have an insurance that will cover the damages.

Called out to them a few days ago; stressed, tired, sore, and just needing some help. They came out within hours and within minutes had everything in their truck. Garbage experience. Quote received ahead of time was reasonable. After completion of work price had magically doubled. Tried to get the manager involved, but, surprise, he (Tom) was the one that did the quote, and couldnt find his notes. Would not recommend.
Great service. The guys were ahead of their schedule so they called to see if they could come early, which worked perfectly with my schedule. They move quickly to bag and take out the junks. Used this company today. Jahmarcus and his team were outstanding. they loaded a sofa, 7 chairs, ottoman, dresser, tv stand, queen bed, rug, and 3 lamps in 15 minutes. took furniture to our local Goodwill. Very friendly and knowledgeable in price estimate. Highly recommend this company.
Hunks came to pack for four hours. Nice guys, wish they were a bit faster, but we also have them the task of packing all glass, booze and plates as well as bookshelves with a variety of items. They completed 2 rooms and all the glassware in the kitchen
Scheduled to remove a bunch of old stuff from elderly great uncles home. They arrived on time with a nice, clean truck, both looked sharp and presented themselves well. They took care of everything & made it look easy. The young men were pleasant and efficient. Well worth it!!!

2021-11-16Listen, from the moment they walked in I won’t lie I was nervous because of previous movers. The guys Shayne, Will, and Ron kept telling me that they would take care of us, but that didn’t put my mind at ease. Hey, I’m only human. Then the process starts. These gentleman were personable, professional, and pretty fast. They loaded everything and unloaded it in about 4.5 hrs. I actually enjoyed their company and they didn’t damage a single item. They were careful with all of our items and didn’t mind when we asked them to cover our things. They are literally standing right here and I had to stop and write this review. Will was a genius with packing the truck and I am NOT easily impressed. Thank you guys for everything. We appreciate you!! We will call you for our next move!! Nola and Toya

2022-08-04We had a very stressful move - moving to a different state. Maverick and Robert were amazing during our move. They were more than helpful and moved us so fast and professional it was amazing - we didn’t have anytime to worry about small details because they had us covered. They helped us get all our unwanted items to a dumpster. They also ensured once everything was moved that we had all our belongings and nothing was broken. This is literally the very first time we have made such a huge move without many items getting broken. These guys are awesome, their work ethic is out of this world. I would recommend these guys to anyone including my closest friends and family members. 2022-06-23I had three Hunks (Andrew, Lucas, and Jonathan) come by today to haul multiple rooms of furniture, and they did it effortlessly. The guys were professional, friendly, and fast! I was pleasantly surprised at how respectful (and quiet) they were while executing the haul: closing doors, double checking before trashing items, and getting it all done in a way that didnt disturb me while I worked.Im not easily impressed, but these guys are top-notch. I highly recommend the College Hunks for your move or haul. I will definitely use these guys again soon. #FiveStars!

2022-06-28College Hunks did a great job moving our 2 bedroom apartment from Cincinnati to Columbus! Tyler S. and Tyler S. were fast, efficient, and extremely professional. The Hunks were so effective they finished our move 2 hours earlier than the estimated time. Everything came moved in perfect condition. We had an additional stop during our move and the Hunks handled it without any issue. Talk about a stress-free move to a new city. 10/10 recommend.

2022-05-18Ron, Maverick and Joe in Cincinnati showed up on time and worked hard until the job was finished. They were polite, careful, efficient and thorough. I am completely happy with my experience with this College Hunks team.The only downside to the College Hunks was that the quote I got from the woman I spoke with led me to believe that my total would be around $250, but in the end it was $400. The truck was so small that what I thought would be 1/3 of a load turned out to be 1/2. The phone people should be more realistic when giving estimates.
