They got the job done and nothing was broken, so I am happy with that. Also they were very friendly and professional. My issue lies with 3 people being requested for the job but they only showed up with 2 due to a call off, which I understand is out of their control but still very inconvenient. So the loading took much longer than it should have and my wife and I helped move boxes around. Also we were not offered wardrobe boxes so we ended up having to transport our close in garbage bags and lose in our vehicles.All in all they got the job done and a 3rd person did show up to unload which helped. They were very nice and professional. This particular move job still left us very tired and stressed at the end of the day.
Jerrid and Joey were outstanding. They were on time and meticulous with our purchase of a 240 lb TV stand delivered from the store to our house. Courteous and efficient. Will use them again for sure.

Incredibly disappointed. I was quoted two hunks for truck unloading labor, 3 people showed up instead and charged me $165/hr instead of $110/hr as quoted. They finished another job before coming to my location, and they were very late - an hour after their scheduled window. The hunks were visibly tired and understandably so! They shouldn’t have sent the same crew to two back to back jobs. Since they all were tired, they were awfully slow with the job. They took two and a half hour to unload a half a truck of an one-bedroom apartment. For comparison, 2 guys loaded my truck in 2 hours! I had to pay significantly more for a job that could have been finished in an hour and a half by two people. Never using this service again and telling all my friends and family to do the same! If you are using their service, make sure you schedule a morning window for the job so that the movers are not fatigued!
Almost all of our experience with College Hunks was amazing and would definitely recommend them to others. The movers that came out to move us were wonderful. They helped out in every way possible while always being polite and courteous. They never stopped all day long. They wrapped our items like they belonged to their own Grandmother, taking care to ensure that nothing went wrong or was damaged. Dan, Nick, and Isaiah did a phenomenal job. Now here is my only negative. When the job was quoted, the inventory was done over the phone. This is due to covid which I understand, but makes it difficult to make sure all items are included. I had told the gentleman on the phone that there were many, many boxes. When I received the quote, only furniture was listed. I did not question this. I should have. They sent one 20 foot truck and 3 guys for 7.5 hours of work. In the end, it took those 3 gentlemen 14 hours and 10 minutes to move us in 2 trips across town. That is one reason I give the movers themselves such high praise. They never complained or shied away from the work. However, I think it is a horrible shame that the person who quoted my job did such an awful job of using their equipment and resources. I didnt mind paying more to have movers do the job but their employees where not prepared to work that many hours and that just seems unfair to me. If it will take 2 trucks and 6 men to move me then just tell me...dont make it so your employees are unloading a truck in freezing rain at 11 oclock at night. Thank you.
Professional all the way! They even called to say that they were running ahead of schedule and asked if they could stop by an hour early. Four guys loaded our old hot tub onto their truck. They made sure not to hurt our lawn. One guy even looked over the patio and picked up any stray screws! More reasonable than those other guys. I will definitely call them again!

Not only were they the most affordable by far, but they were so nice and helpful! The guys that came were super nice and did a great job, and I knew my sofa bed was not going to be easy to move.My only criticism would be that the call center did not communicate my concerns to the actual location that was moving my furniture. I knew that my sofa bed was going to be difficult because it needed to be taken apart in order to be moved. But the guys that came were wonderful and they figured out how to disassemble the sofa and put it back together.
College Hunks were great. They were very professional on the phone and provided great customer service. The team of Ryan and Dan came out to do the hauling and were great too. They went over the cost of everything before they started. They worked quickly and efficiently and managed to get all our “junk” into one truck and haul it away. Very pleased with College Hunks. Two very strong and very polite men arrived with their truck within the promised two hours. They gave us a price for our job which we accepted. They then worked very hard to complete our job which included moving a heavy treadmill. We gave each a well deserved tip!

I had a scheduled appointment from 3:30-5:00. They called me and told me they were running late, but they were supposed to let me know and I never got a call. So, I called the company around 8 and after the movers called that they would be there around 8:45 but it was too late. Therefore, I rescheduled for the next day and I inquired about compensation due to my inconvenience. I was told a manager would call me. The next day, they arrived during the scheduled time (3:30-5:00) and there was no compensation met, only a $10 discount. When loading my item, a piano, and they asked to lower their truck and when they did it lower, the truck tore up my driveway.
I contacted the Cleveland office to give me an estimate to completely remove and empty my late mother in law’s bungalow and detached 2 car garage which held 40 years of things that needed to be given away or sent to the junk pile. Sam came out and gave us an estimate which took no more than an hour. He was polite and professional and gave us a fair estimate. Dan & Brian came on a Friday morning around 9am and tirelessly worked until 10:30pm in 90 plus degree weather & 100% humidity hauling heavy appliances, furniture, just to name a few but also so many other things it would take pages to list. These young men were the most hard working, polite, professionals our family had the pleasure to work with. They ended up filling 3 trucks. They never stopped to take breaks. They were careful with the furniture and any fragile items (dish ware, glasses, etc). They only stopped working when we told them to go home otherwise they would have stayed all night to finish the job which included removing carpet and tacks from living room and hallway. Thank you! From my first phone call, I was given the information I needed. No pressure. Part of what I needed done was to set up the base of an adjustable bed. Since this was a somewhat unusual request, they obtained the model name and searched online for the manual. They assured me they would be able to set up the base.This is an example of going the extra mile, and doing more than was expected. And, all this great service BEFORE I booked the job. Several weeks later, I called back and my job was completed the next day. Everyone, from the first call to the completion of the job were pleasant and efficient.
Two gentlemen arrived, were polite, respectful and very helpful. I utilized the service to help with an estate clear out. I literally just pointed and the gentlemen were able to remove items from small to large with ease. Later they were able to sort through the items and donated a majority of them, then emailed me a receipt. Extremely helpful service during a very stressful and overwhelming task. Our basement flooded and the water mitigation company could not move the damaged things out of the area soon enough to prevent mold from growing. Dan Loughridge of College Hunks and his team just said YES we can help! The service provided was also reasonably priced, given how quick they reacted to our request. I have used them before this and would use them again and again!

The young men who came were polite, friendly and worked very hard the whole time they were at our home. They were careful not to do any damage trying to move furniture out of our house and were able to remove all items we wanted to donate. We would recommend their service and will use them in the future for any other donations or furniture removal. Thank you to David and Branden for a job well done!!
College Hunks Hauling Junk have exceeded our expectations when it came to moving our furniture. The workers have gotten everything done in a timely manner and they were professional. None of our furniture was damaged and they have handled everything with care. We had a couch that would not fit into our new apartments doors and they used a crane to get the sectional through the balcony. Without their help I dont think we would have our couch. (Every moving company told us they could not help us with our couch) We will always recommend this moving company to family and friends and we will use them for our future moves as well.
We had two movers come to our house to remove two very heavy pieces from our house to go to Habitat for Humanity. The movers worked very hard getting one piece down a very small stair case. They took pains (both literally and figuratively) to remove the piece without damaging the piece or our house. They were great! I would highly recommend College Hunks Hauling Hunk and Moving.

I had to empty my dads house to get it ready to sell. I didnt know where to start. I first contacted Lake county Habitat for Humanity. So disappointed with them. They were very picky to the point of being a bit snobby. Not much help. Packed up a few things for salvation army who were very nice and grateful but they dont come in to the house, so with limited manpower we got a lot of small things out that we could carry. With tons of stuff left I finally did a search and thats when I found this incredible service. The Hunks were our saviors!!! Dan and Dave came the same day and gave us a very good estimate and even started hauling the same day.. They were meticulous carrying out everything we had piled up in the basement and packed the truck until nothing else fit. Dave and another man came back a few days later and took another huge truck load. They took everything and they donate, salvage, recycle and then dump the rest. We cannot thank them enough for their help. I only wish wed had them from the start ( our fault). The frustrating task we faced was short work for them. Love, love, love these guys and service. NOTHING else compares! Their phone number is on my contact list forever!!!!
These guys are great! My mother-in-law died suddenly over Christmas and we had to clean out her two-bedroom apartment.Dan came and gave us the estimate and a day later, he and Sean were there to take everything. I just recently used College Hunks Hauling and I highly recommend them. The appointment was easy to schedule and I was able to make it on a Saturday so I didnt have to take off work. The 3 College students that hauled the junk away were professional, kind and courteous.

The one star is because the two young men who came out to remove miscellaneous junk/garbage from our home were polite. The positive experience with College Hunks ends here. While they were polite, they were ill prepared....my husband had to lend them work gloves for the heavy lifting, and the one young mans pants sagged so much that his underwear was hanging out most of the time. They were unable to remove the freezer that was in the basement as they did not come with the correct equipment, and they struggled to remove a window a/c unit, again due to not having the correct equipment. We were supposed to receive a follow up call from their supervisor to discuss removal of the freezer, but the call never. Neither my husband or I were surprised. It was costly, inefficient, and I would not recommend College Hunks to anyone!

We had an old jungle gym in our backyard that the kids had outgrown. I surprised my wife by having it removed while we were out of town for vacation.The price quoted was very good, and that final bill was actually significantly lower than the estimate!Wife is happy, backyard no longer has the eyesore in it, and it is finally possible to mow the yard without angling around that odd structure.Excellent work! 2022-08-19Thank you so much for being reasonably priced. The movers were fast and was in and out in less than 40 minutes. I had a lot of glass windows and they were very careful not breaking them. They also emptied out a room full of bedroom furniture. I will use them again in the future.

2021-12-29The College Hunks representatives Anthony and Jerrid arrived at the scheduled time, if not sooner. They were very pleasant and accommodating. They worked hard to remove a large three-piece couch. They had to carry the couch through a narrow opening, out the door, down several steps and onto their truck. They delivered on the College Hunks promise of a stress-free experience. I highly recommend their services to anyone who needs to move large furniture or other items.
