We have been going to Coco Bella since it was in Brecksville on Mill Rd. We would go weekly after the class I taught next door, and the food has always been one of our favorite Italian places. We now continue to LOVE the food regardless of the move! Why, you ask:1. The portions easily provide two meals for us...Therefore, the value is incredible!2. The all inclusive meal...no a la carte here! Your meal INCLUDES homemade garlic bread bites, and a lovely mixed green salad (with delicious house dressing). No lie...sometimes we order meals from here just to get Tommys homemade bread!3. The marinara, in our opinion is incredibly DELICIOUS!!! Our standard order is pasta marinara, and an additional order served with the meatballs. My husband LOVES the meatballs, which are truly homemade and as big as baseballs!4. The arancini appetizer is such a wonderful app!!! Served with pesto and marinara, you cannot go wrong!!!5. Amanda is a SWEET HEART! Down to Earth...she remembers us and is happy to serve us. We are so happy to have her back!!!!We highly recommend Coco Bella...We LOVE the food, the owner, and Amanda & and Tommys family!Lets be honest, other peoples questionable experiences may have come at a time that was difficult, and in life, we just need to give people/places a break. We all have bad days, challenges, etc... but I am here to tell you that Coco Bella is great...dine out, dine in...support REAL local peeps like Coco Bella.
Update, yes I am real and did eat here. I tried speaking with, you denied food was overly salty. So you are right and I am wrong, good attitude, good luck, 6 months.Food was extremely salty, the server agreed as well. Nothing stood out just so-so, if that; a chef is in dire need to make some authentic Italian food. The Sinatra constantly playing over and over and plastered brick walls does not make it Italian, cornball. Man, do some research and take the recipes to heart, could be a good place.
The portion size was amazing and the food was absolutely delicious! 10/10 we’ll be back!We had a “to go” order from this restaurant and the first thing that struck us was the packaging of the food. It was very well packed, shrink wrap on containers with sauce in them, and just really well put together.
Some of the best Italian food Ive ever tasted! I had the special Carbonara with a delightful egg and cream sauce, and my husband had the Chicken Parmesan. The marinara sauce was magnificent! Served with garlic bread knots and a nice salad, we enjoyed every bite. Charming atmosphere and great service make this a perfect place for dinner. We might just go back in a few days... Im dying to try the Pasta Bolognese!
Three words: Poppy seed dressing!! We came into town for a trail race Friday evening and had dinner here. Amazing. There were only two waitresses so it was a little bit of waiting, but once we had their attention, the food came out quickly, and piping hot! Large portions of pasta!! Make sure you get their poppy seed dressing with your salad!! Great restaurant!!
Visited Coco Bella Grille new location in Northfield on Saturday evening. Had reservations for my husband and I to meet friends. Made reservations by phone with very cheerful, delightful lady. We had never dined with Coco-Bella prior, but loved previous restaurant at this location (Giuseppes) and was excited to see another a new independent Italian restaurant had moved in. Interior decor while clean, had very bright lighting - wasnt what we expected for a nicely priced Saturday evening dinner out. One of the booths in clear view was filled with beverages and paperwork of staff - a bit of a casual ambiance. Entire table ordered drinks & appetizers to start which we all enjoyed. Entrees (lasagna, evening special pasta & chicken piccatas) were amazing. Our server while sweet, was new and forgot some of our requests. Lemon cream cake is a must!!! Will definitely come back to try again and/or order take-out.
Worst Italian food I have ever had !!! Service was terrible !!! Server wasn’t able to describe any meals on the menu. Ordered stuffed peppers and the dish looked like it came out of a prison kitchen. Tasted very mediocre. The salads were super tiny finished it in 3 bites ! My fiancée ordered the penne Alfredo and the Alfredo sauce was the worst sauce I have ever tasted in my life. I spit it into my napkin it was so bad. DO NOT GO HERE ! YOU WILL BE DISAPPOINTED!
The food was great! I mean, really, really good! I had the ravioli with mushrooms in a blush sauce and it was outstanding. My husband had the Frutti De Mare and there was a ton of seafood! The portions are large so plan to take some home for lunch the next day. Garlic knots are delicious too. When we first arrived, it took a while before anyone seated us. (No designated hostess this night?) You can tell they were short-handed, but our server got our drink order and appetizer out right away. Food also came out timely and piping hot. Once they get more people on their staff, there will be a line out the door. The food is that good!
Unexpectedly excellent food and value! The parking lot was empty but given most of their food is now served as carryout, that makes sense. I ordered the eggplant parmesan. It wasnt greasy and over breaded. Also appreciated that there was just enough cheese to make it interesting but not completely unhealthy. It also came with delicious garlic knots, pasta with marinara sauce and a nice salad with actual mixed greens versus iceberg lettuce. I will definitely go back! Thank you Coco Bella Grille for a delicious meal!
We wanted somewhere different to celebrate our anniversary and Coco Bella Grille was the perfect choice. The wedding soup, salads, HUGE portions of linguini with white clam sauce, and carbonara were prepared to perfection. Did I mention the garlic knots??? Out of this world. The atmosphere was pleasant with Sinatra playing in the background. I highly recommend this gem.
Wow! What a hidden gem in the Northeast Ohio area. Weve gotten take out a few times now and not only does it taste fantastic day one, but the leftovers are still delicious! I recommend anyone and everyone in the area make this a regular haunt. The food is so fresh and the portions are big. I highly recommend visiting Coco Bella.
First time at Coco Bella and I was pleasantly surprised. Our server Missy was attentive, friendly and helpful with dishes. My friend had the Thai peanut Wings he said were amazing, I had the Filet which also amazing. Nice place tucked quietly off the main road. Overall a great experience and I will be back.
My sister and I went for lunch. We had appetizers, the meatballs and aranchini- delicious, I ordered a Riesling with my meal of Fruitti De Mare which is a seafood linguini, OMG. The scallops, shrimp and mussels were cooked to perfection in a white sauce. Everything was absolutely wonderful/great. And the rolls they bring you before your meal - you could taste, smell and tell this was made from scratch. I said all that to say, make sure you stop in for a meal you won’t be disappointed.
2 yrs ago!!!...45 minutes for our order to be taken. 25 minutes for our drink order. The waitress never spent more than 15 seconds at our table. They were not busy, 6 tables and 3 waitresses, just really bad service. The food was good even though it was cold...Oh and now we have waited almost a half hour for our check, this is for sure the worst service I have ever experienced.......And now it has been exactly 2 years since our last review and after request of the new owner (almost a year ago) we gave it another try. WOW! What a difference. This was an awesome experience. The service was amazing. The food was amazing. We will be back.
Not bad at all. Just went there for appetizers and beers, but the calamari was fresh tasting and the portion very large. Good selection of craft brews and service was friendly. Not the most atmospheric place, so not recommended for a romantic dinner, but nice enough for a drink and reasonably priced food. Ill probably be back.
The food is a true food orgasm!! I have never been disappointed in anything I have ordered. The calamari is not rubbery, served with a mild marinara sauce, and also hints of garlic in the calamari itself. The lasagna is so big, you can never finish the portion you are served. Humongous!!! The chicken piccatta is light and fresh with hints of lemon in the sauce. Yummo!!!The wait staff are personable, humble, kind, and very helpful. They do go out of their way to make your experience a pleasure.Go there..partake of the delights! See if you arent trumpeting about how very wonderful EVERYTHING is!!
Mostly I go there because theyre never busy, but the food is good and the portions are big! Mike (owner/cook) puts his heart and soul into it. But the place lacks a certain something... Is it a bar? Is it a fancy restaurant? Is it a casual dinner joint? Its hard to say. But, I dont really mind that part. I always come home with leftovers. You should give them a try!
Oh nostalgia and nouveau! Calamari of old Dadonnas, good garlic rolls, best ever ravioli rossa tomato cream peas mushrooms. So delicious. Happy hour wings and beer. Loved our service, server, and hostess. Great job Tommys sis and wife! Very nice inside. Good specials. Authentic. We felt so welcome and will be back. So glad Rose sent us to find Tommys food.
Since I stumbled across this fabulous Italian restraunt in Brecksville, I cant get enough of their food, & have been there 12 times since August. The Pasta Bolognese is the best I have ever had....& Im Italian & was known for making the best sauce in town, but theyve got me beat. The Veal Parmesan is spectacular along with many of the other entrees. And once u try the garlic butter rolls, your mouth will water just thinking about them. They have a wonderful bar & the employees r so friendly. Co Co Bella Grille is family owned & opens at 3:30 pm M - S. Closed on Sunday. I sound like a commercial but we really love it. Definitely worth trying!
Came to try the place out. For an appetizer I got the calamari and it was bland. Had to add some salt and pepper to it to give it flavor. Then I ordered a half slab of ribs and they were burnt. I sent that back and ordered the linguine Anglio instead and the sauce is good but it came with 5 pieces of shrimp. It was $13 and then another $6 for the shrimp for a total of $18. For $6 I could have gotten more shrimp from the chinese restaurant down the street from my house. Now I have a bunch of noodles still that I took home and will have to cook something to add to it and eat tomorrow.
Worst experience ever. Waited forever for drinks. Only 2 servers on a Friday night for the whole restaurant. We Ordered 2 house Cabernets, they were terrible, tasted like bottles were open for days, after letting the bartender know she said “yeah it’s bad”, My husband asked to order a different glass, instead of what he wanted she gave him what she thought was good. While looking at the menu an argue insued to the right of us over another guests table that they were overcharged.... it was uncomfortable to watch.... the young blonde server was really pissed, then she went to pour a grey goose martini, realized that she was out of dry vermouth and compensated with extra grey goose.... a severe over pour. The food finally came out and the boxes were tipped On their sides, sauce leaked. The chicken Marsala sauce was so sweet it was like candy. The mushrooms were canned and the chicken was so over cooked it was inedible. By the way I have. Ton of pictures I will be uploading! The salad was smaller then that of a McDonalds side salad and the goat cheese salad that was $9.00. Had no toppings!! The Arincini consists of 2. Both tasted as thought they have been sitting preformed in a fridge for a week.... we spit them out. This was only 1/2 of it. We had to have our tab adjusted 4-5 times. We had 3 glasses of wine, we were charged for 5. Her excuse was I didn’t charge you for this and charged for this to make it cheaper.... this happened 4 times. Helena kept saying she didn’t know how to void items yet every new check had a void. Our check dropped $15 over several revisions and still wasnt right... I just was sick of waiting for it to be right and it’s not like the staff cared... worst experience ever. Never going back!!!! We spent over $65 on 3 glasses of $5 house wine, 1 inedible entree, 1 disgusting $9!/salad all lettuce, 1 side salad, 1 inedible spoiled appetizer and a box of overcoooked fried bread...... no no no!!!! Never again
Coco Bella‘s grill is the best Italian food I have ever had. Today we ordered their Shrimp Sherry and their Chicken Cardinal. The city of Brecksville, Broadview Heights and North Royalton do not know what kind of hidden gem that is in the old Peppermill restaurant Located on Mill Road near route 21. The portions are large and the food is flavorful and fresh. Give it a try!
Arrived at the restaurant at 7 pm, it was 20 minutes before we were even acknowledged. When they finally spoke with us, there was confusion over whether our reservation was 7 or 7:30- regardless of who made the area the woman was very rude to us. Assume it was a 7:30 reservation instead of the 7 oclock reservation we thought we had. Finally at 7:45 they said they would start to clear a table to seat us, again rude about it, We left at 7:50, as they didnt seem to be motivated to clear the table for us. I cannot believe how rude the staff was
I had the veal spidini. I was not disappointed. The garlic mashed potatoes had clearly been made to order. The veal was properly cooked, not overcooked, had a good texture and flavor. I had a cannoli for dessert. When Clemenza says leave the gun take the cannoli, these are the cannoli hes talking about. It is very rare to have a cannoli of this quality but to finish up a meal like veal spidini with a cannoli like this is literally sinful. I will have to go to confession but then I will be back.
Experience was Great! Customer service was outstanding, staff was knowledgeable and friendly, food was hot, fresh, and delicious and atmosphere was inviting. Try this restaurant, you will not be disappointed. Cant wait till next visit to try something different. WELL DONE Tom!!!!!
You might know this as The Peppermill, but they have changed the name and change the menu. I love this place. The new menu is excellent. Mike (the owner) and Anthony (the bartender) are always super friendly and know most of their customers on a first name basis. Thats rare. I definitely recommend it.
OMGEEEE! SO GOOD! HUBBY AND I TRIED THIS FOR THE FIRST TIME TONIGHT. WE WERE NOT DISAPPOINTED! SO DELICIOUS! HUGE PORTIONS.JACKIE WAS VERY FRIENDLY. WE WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK! SAM WAS AN AWESOME SERVER! WE REALLY ENJOYED OUR EVENING. I HAVE NEVER TASTED BETTER HOUSE ITALIAN SALAD DRESSING! 😋

2022-01-21Easily my favorite restaurant in the area. The food is really good and the staff are friendly and attentive. Coco Bella is a smaller restaurant with an Italian family feel to it.I highly recommend the chicken marsala, though you cant really go wrong with any of the dishes.

2022-02-07We stopped in for dinner this weekend. Be sure to reserve in advance to get your seat as the dining area is small. The wait staff was very attentive and punctual. The menu had an adequate selection of appetizers, salads, and entree’s. All of our selections were very good and the portion sizes were substantial. The meal came with a salad and lots of hearty bread. We ordered some cannoli to go. You will not regret eating here. Enjoy!!
