Cloak & Dagger in other cities:
My wife and I heard about this place on TikTok and thought it looked amazing, we booked a reservation for a Saturday and drove up to Cleveland. From the moment we checked in, the hostess was friendly and the waiter was funny and attentive! He made suggestions and offered up some of his favorites from the menu. The drinks were out of this world and the appetizers were amazing.
Im not one to visit the bar too much so I dont have many expectations when visiting one. This bar, however, was definitely an enjoyable one. The ambiance was Gothic and made me feel like I was stepping into a fantasy setting. I was seated at the bar and the bartender served a complimentary shot which was quite nice. The drinks were a tad on the pricier side, but Ive seen worse. If youre a fan of a bar with great ambiance and hate when its so loud that you cant hear yourself think then this place is for you.
Ive got to try 2 different cocktail menus at Cloak & Dagger and they both blew me away. The staff is awesome too and the decor is just really beautiful and relaxed. I will make the drive from Youngstown 1 million times & tell everyone about this place lol. Some of the best cocktails Ive ever had
One of the best places to visit in cle for a one of a kind experience! INCREDIBLE cocktails, with such a cool vibe and amazing staff! Every cocktail I’ve tried since their opening in 2020 has been unlike any other cocktail I’ve tried elsewhere, in the best way possible! Also really great food that is also always vegan which is a plus! Definitely a must in Cleveland if you’ve never been.
Honestly very disappointed with what this place has turned into. I went about 8 months ago for dinner and it was amazing. Great food and the atmosphere was nice. Tried to go today for my partners birthday to have dinner. The only reservation available was at 10pm so we made it. We got there, and were seated and checked in. It was very loud and the vibes were honestly obnoxious. It really didnt match the atmosphere that they bill themselves as, very loud college kid vibes. We ordered drinks and tried to order food, and only then did our server tell us the kitchen closes at 10. This info was not in the website, was not on the menu, and they didnt tell us when we checked in for our reservation (even though when I made a reservation I noted that it was a birthday - why witless anyone make a birthday reservation just for cocktails??). So I didnt $40 on 2 cocktails and we left immediately bc we were starving and they only had popcorn. If I would have known I could have planned a different birthday dinner for my partner but they kind of ruined that for us. So anyway, I want to like this place bc the first time I went the food was good, but they need to figure out how to communicate their kitchen hours and I dont recommend going there on a weekend if you dont want to feel like youre in a college bar.
I couldnt be more obsessed with Cloak & Dagger after my first visit this past week. The attention to detail is quite impressive, from their social media, menu design, creative cocktails (most of which can be made zero proof), feminine products in the restroom, ambiance, food presentation and flavor. No corners are skipped. The menu is small and carefully curated. Every option looked amazing, so we basically ordered one of everything. Here were the big hits:Birria Tacos - The enoki steak melts in your mouth. My boyfriend said he will order these every single time we go until the menu changes.Barbeque Chicken Skewers - Dont skip ordering these. The seitan was incredibly tender and a bite with the cheese and a blueberry is as close to perfect as it gets.White Cheddar Mac - The three of us inhaled this. We have eaten vegan mac n cheese all over the country and this is up toward the top of all of our lists.I think I need a t-shirt so I can rep this place. Or I need to start a fan club. I love you Cloak & Dagger!
Love the food and atmosphere but if youre going to have timed seating (which is ABSOLUTELY reasonable ask although 2hrs is a normal dining experience Ive experienced at most places and is enough time for cocktails, apps, entre and post drinks/dessert) you need to remind people as they arrive not 20 min before youre booting them from a table when their food showed up 10min prior. Server had good solution and was helpful where hostess that notified us said it as she was walking away from table so no one could question her. It should be the opening line as being seated and can be done in a friendly, professional way to not cause issues.
I was really excited to go to this little bar in Tremont. It had a cool name, beautiful branding, great reviews, and the interior looked beautiful. I was unfortunatly unimpressed. The service was not the greatest. The food menu is not very large, which is fine... but I ordered the Bahn Mi and just did not think it was good. I also asked the waiter to take out the onions and then the onions were left in. I did not finish the sandwich because I did not like it. My friend ordered the Mac and Cheese and Pork Rinds which were much better. The drinks were delicious! No complaints there. The interior design of the space was beautiful, and cozy. Overall I dont think I would go back for the food or the service though as there are much better locations for that nearby. I would return for a nice cocktail, but really not the greatest experience.
The Cloak & Dagger is a must I did a dark web search and all the local hackers said this was the place to be for delicate food and artfully crafted cocktails. The vibe was dark and exclusive. There is limited seating so make a reservation or show up and charm your way in as we did. I brought a film crew from all over Los Angeles, Chicago & Atlanta they all are Bougie and this place made them all sit quietly and drink in peace. I definitely recommend this establishment tell them Travis sent chu. 🤙🏽
A pure Cleveland gem. This place provides everything from an amazing atmosphere to beautifully crafted food + drinks that provide for such an elevated experience. It is a great place to stop for a date night, birthday, or any other celebration. I have always had an amazing time with exceptional service and always look forward to coming back to Cloak & Dagger!
UNBELIEVABLE. There are many kinds of artists in this world, and some people make their art with drinks. Some of the best of those people work here. The cocktails are an actual experience. (There a solid non-alcoholic options for non-drinkers!) We got a variety between our group, and all of the drinks were unique and incredible. And the food? When I went vegan 8 years ago, I could not have imagined a place like Cloak and Dagger would exist. If you are vegan, you’ll have some of the best vegan food you’ve ever eaten. If you’re not vegan, you’ll still have some of the best food you’ve ever eaten, and you’ll forget it’s vegan at all.The decor is cozy and warm so you feel like you’re in an old English tavern between quests. The menu is beautiful and well though out. I cannot praise this place highly enough. I wish I could leave a ten star review. My only advice? Make a reservation! You’ll be glad you planned ahead for a special night at this amazing bar.
We are from out of town. This is exactly the type of spot we were looking for and just happened upon it! I am sad this isnt listed as one of the top places in Cleveland (at least not the ones I was looking at) because it definitely deserves to be on those lists!Gluten Free- options were wonderful and staff was so nice and accommodating. Food was delish!
Absolutely mind blowing! If you go make sure to try all the bar snacks.. I was hesitant about the popcorn flavor but it ended up being my favorite thing. Dont skip dessert - we ended up having the best coffee cake Ive ever had. The cocktails were killer, an ambient atmosphere makes it even more enjoyable. Noah and Mitch were beyond wonderful and I cant wait to return again.
Like...speechless. The cocktails were amazing, I got the Where The Watermelon Grow and my bf got the Ring of the Dead. I was most looking forward to the food which was seriously the best food Ive had in over a year. The tacos...were...perfect. I had no idea was enoki was but that night I learned and they were splendid. Just go here...set a date, make the reservation and get over to cloak and dagger.
Visited this establishment this evening with a friend. We sat on the outdoor patio and ordered drinks. Several rounds later, I let the hostess/waitress know my friend and I were stepping away from our table for a moment to smoke. She said no problem at all. we left our full drinks on the table and we were in eye sight of the table about 25 feet away. We watched our table being given away to a party of four people, and our drinks were taken away. When I approached the hostess/waitress about our table being given away, she continued to sit the new party. We were offered a table inside that only had 20 more minutes of availability for us to sit at. Why even bother at this point?? I asked for the check... let me just tell you they had the audacity to charge for the two full drinks they threw away. I would NEVER recommend #cloakanddagger to anyone; NOR would I ever visit this establishment again
Such a cool vibe and incredible cocktails, but the customer service left much to be desired. It felt like they intentionally drove us out even though there were 20 minutes left before closing. The music after last call was hardcore screamo which felt especially passive-aggressive after they flickered the lights three times. Even after I politely requested they change the music, they told me this is what they play after last call, which is a poor choice for the atmosphere and simply not true as the screamo music didn’t start until 11:35. While the vibe‘s great, I won’t be returning as Cleveland offers better options.
Every cocktail we had was delicious! And the vibe is on point with details galore. when we arrived they greeted us at the bar with a sample of the nights featured cocktail.Pictures are of Peace of Wild Things, Where the Watermelons Grow, Nightshade, & the featured cocktail of the night.
Absolutely rad spot. Space is eclectic, stylish, intimate, and warm. Cocktail menu is stellar and the all-vegan food menu can easily win over the masses. All cocktails are created thoughtfully, with beautiful finishing touches; some of which (imagine a skull-shaped cube of frozen cold brew floating in a masterful blend of bourbon, fernet, sherry, and varied bitters) amount to conversation starters on their own accord. One of my new favorite cocktail spots in Cleveland, hands down.
The people who work here are rude and uninviting. Horrible customer service, since they dont want anyone standing at the bar, we couldnt even order a drink while waiting. We spend a lot of money at Cleveland restaurants, they will never get a penny from us. These people act like it is some sort of private members only club, but it is not.
We’ve always talked about going here, so we decided to stop here for drinks before going to Dantes down the street. So the drink when he was very cool, and the drinks were absolutely fantastic… If exceedingly pricey lol I literally spent as much on for drinks as a really good meal for two anywhere else lol it was worth it on her anniversary night…
Everything about this place is special. We went for our anniversary dinner and ordered just about everything on the food menu. The mac and cheese with shiitake bacon was sharp, creamy and indulgent. The Bando polenta with mushrooms was chewy and bright - the basil really makes this dish. The ginger “pork” with sticky rice was a huge win. My meat loving husband could not believe it was seitan. The pickled cucumbers were crunchy and fresh. There was a special watermelon salad with “goat cheese”, arugula and pistachios- so delicious. It obvious from the cocktail and food menu that the culinary team knows what they are doing. We can’t wait to go back. Service was exceptional. This was one memorable meal!
Giving 5 stars for the drinks only. Otherwise in regards to the staff it was kinda disappointing. We had reservations for 4pm this past Saturday and we got there at 355. We let ourselves in bc the door was unlocked and stood by the hostess stand waiting to be seated. The hostess comes up to us and says they dont open til 4 as if we were 2 hours early and a bother. And when seated at the bar the 2 bartenders were not very personable. Only time the one said anything to us is if we wanted another drink. Not sure if it was an off night for them bc of all the other great reviews but Im not sure if Ill be back. Its too bad bc the drinks were really good.
If youre looking for the new thing in craft cocktails, Cloak and Dagger is the place to be and be seen. Nestled in a high-vibes part of Tremont, the cocktail menu will easily slay rivals and the vegan menu has something for everyone. I had the Torchbearer, which literally came lit on fire. As good as that was, the house cocktail was my favorite. I could drink that all afternoon. Either way, Ill be back and maybe Ill see you there.
I went into this beautiful establishment as an out of town bartender visiting some friends and family, wanting to take in the some of the local wares of the food and beverage industry. This being a newer location, it was first on my list, as I have been to a good handful of the other places in the area. I could not have had a better experience. Inviting and friendly staff, incredibly knowledgeable in all aspects of their craft, and an ambiance that is absolutely unmatched. Unfortunately I did not eat anything, but you can be assured the next time I find myself back in Cleveland, as a vegetarian, I will be taking in as much as I can of their award winning vegan menu. I mean, after being voted Best New Restaurant, Best New Bar, and #2 Best Vegan Restaurant, how could I say no? Check out Cleveland Scene magazine Best Of 2021 if you dont believe it!Thanks for the wonderful experience, Cloak & Dagger crew. Looking forward to doing it again soon!-from Nashville, with love!
We had been dying to come here for so long, and when we finally made it out a few weeks ago, it was one of our favorite dates ever. I felt so welcomed between the complimentary shot we were given at the beginning of the night, the service throughout the night, and the keepsake bookmark that came with our check at the end. It is such a fun experience!!! I read that menu like a book; it was poetically written and beautifully designed, and it really set the scene so well for each item we ordered. We sat at the bar and it’s killing me that I can’t remember the two bartenders’ names, because the way they crafted each drink was showmanship and entertainment in and of itself.I’m sure there are some boring people out there who do not like dark restaurants and would not appreciate having the need to read the menu by the light of a tiny tea candle, but for me it totally rounded out the experience and contributed greatly to the ambience and brand of the place. You feel like you’re in a book set a long time ago, being slid a dark bowl of something mysterious and yummy at a tavern after a long journey. The decorations are so detailed that I feel like you could walk around the restaurant like a museum and that would be fun enough to call it a day. Music choices were fantastic, too. I have recommended you to all of our friends! Thank you!
Was in town for a quick 48 hours for a wedding and added this place to my itinerary based on its reviews and let me say -- it did not disappoint. The drinks were fantastic, the desserts were divine and our service was above and beyond. I cant remember our servers name, but she was so knowledgeable or the menu and made wonderful suggestions. 10/10 would recommend. If I ever find myself in Cleveland again, this will be on my list.
This place had great vibes! The doors were open and the night air felt great as we sipped our fancy cocktails. Their entire menu book sounded delicious but I ended up ordering the Bahn Mi, and the Queen of Thorns for my drink. The waitress warned me the drink was very alcohol forward and it sure was! Even though I dont tend to like drinks that I can really taste the alcohol in, this one was different! Had a really nice aftertaste and buzz. I also shared an order of fries with my friend and those were amazing! I cant wait to return to see what their new menu book will entail.
One of the best experiences Ive had. The bartender was extremely skilled, polite, welcoming and warm. The drinks were extremely well crafted and perfectly balanced. The ambiance was gorgeous, not too pretentious, perfectly elegant without being in your face. The food was wonderful, absolutely inventive and delicious.10/10 will come again asap, and would recommend to everyone!
Im not a vegan and the food was really good! The drinks were also good, like speakeasy good. However, we were a larger party and were sat right at the front door in Nov. My feet are FREEZING, and I wore sneakers. I never took my coat off. Most of our group never took their coat off. I noticed a guy not even close to the door that left his coat on the whole time we were there. This is a fair weather restaurant, as far as Im concerned. Im sure the wall unit AC cant even keep up with the heat & humidity during the summer, considering the front door & windows werent sealed much, if at all.So see you in the spring, C&D - the food was delicious!
This place is a favorite. We go to it as often as we can simply for the drinks. We haven’t tried the food yet but looks amazing. Everyone who works there is so nice and helpful. They’re patient with you and create special requests if you ask for surprises. I love they change the menu every now and then so it’s all new. We love to collect the bookmarks!! It’s an overall great atmosphere. We love this place and the vibe. They decorated super nicely (wish they could do my home lol). Highly recommend!
Cloak & Dagger IS MY FAVE. They have thee best vegan food I have ever had! Im never able to decide what to get because its all so good, so I usually order most of the menu...woorrrrth iiiit. All the cocktails I had made me feel so fancy and special that I want to drink them forever. Every single person who works here quickly became my favourite...good people here. The atmosphere makes me feel all cozy and I never want to leave. Im just obsessed with everything about this place, everything! Its good, its good.
So many good things about Cloak & Dagger...my partner and I have been here about three times in the last few months and went again last night. The drinks are always amazing and unique and the food is tasty and vegan (and if youre not vegan you will still love it). The atmosphere is cozy. Last but not least, the service is amazing, everyone who works there that Ive encountered is friendly and helpful. I hope Cloak & Dagger stays around for a long time. :)
A nice homey atmosphere, comfortable seats and fantastic food! Im a meat eater but the vegan menu is filled with delicious items. Our group tried the popcorn, pork rinds, fries, white cheddar mac and the horiatiki salad. Everyone had nothing but positive things to say about the food. It was hot, fresh and tasty. There is a lot of thought goes into the drink menu, every cocktail that our group had was excellent. We kept our server busy but she was friendly and attentive. Overall its a great place to sit, relax and have a few cocktails with friends and family.
Recently visited for the first time! Made reservations a week in advance, so we were sat right away. The place is small, and gets busy, so I recommend a reservation. We were greeted with a little shot of a drink, which was delicious and we ended up ordering the full size. The food came out fast, it’s all vegan and it is delicious! Sometimes I find vegan food can lack flavor, and that is not the case here! I can’t wait to go again!
Absolutely love their barbecue chicken skewers and white cheddar mac....very sad to see them go but am anxiously awaiting for the reopen with new menu. Staff is generally nice and kind besides the one waitress who has a constant annoyed look and makes you feel unwelcome. Regardless it is a must if you are vegan and enjoy a nice drink with your meal.
Very fun atmosphere and tasty drinks. This place is very lively and the service is great. Make sure you get a reservation, even if you go right when they open!Note that their entire menu vegan. I ordered the vegan Mac and cheese, which is made from cashew butter. I have a cashew allergy and for a bit sick after eating it. This may be common knowledge to the vegan community, but I did not know to expect this.Other than that, this is a neat place that I will be sue eto visit again.
Visiting Cleveland or you have lived here for your entire life, you must visit this bar! The food is good and the cocktails are even better. You can tell just how much thought went into this bar and it makes it stand out for all the right reasons. It’s fun to sit there for hours and drink amazing cocktails. They change them seasonally, so that gives you more reasons to visit often!
One of the few indoor places I have been comfortable visiting during COVID. They take precautions very seriously, everything is disinfected thoroughly between patrons, and the drinks are fantastic.Tonight we had the popcorn, bread w/apple butter, and Burial Grounds chocolate cake; washed it down with the Desert Lily and all of it was *chefs kiss*
Great atmosphere, excellent service, creative cocktails and really delicious food. It exceeded our expectations in every way and its refreshing to see a new concept executed well. Even the menu itself deserves a shout-out for its clever design. This is going to be one of our regular stops.
Very amature. I rarely leave reviews, but was compelled to in this case because we wasted our time and money and hopefully my review will help others not do the same. We had been wanting to try this restaurant for quite a while based on a news story we saw, and it was very disappointing. It was basically a lot of hype for very expensive mediocre drinks with fancy literary descriptions. The menu states to let your server know if you have any food allergies. We did this and we were told there was nothing on the menu for us and the chef would make no accommodations. Upon asking her again and urging her to please check (we had made dinner reservations here, expecting to be able to eat), she said there was only one menu item they could serve us, soup broth, that was close to suitable to meet our dietary needs and again, that the chef would make no accommodations for us, including not leaving off miso powder which is sprinkled on the popcorn. Apparently, the popcorn is premade? After trying two of their drinks and being unimpressed (tasted like a sweet sangria and just an average cocktail) we thought surely, the bartender would be able to handle making a sidecar (three ingredients in simple ratios) and that wasnt made correctly and seemed rushed (maybe we were being punished for not ordering off the menu?). We didnt even end up finishing our drinks, left hungry and our bill was over $50. Do not spend your money or time here. The ambiance was interesting, but once you see it, there is no reason to stay.
Nearly everything about this place is perfect! The Food. The vibe. The staff. The Drinks. All top notch.Downside: a couple wonky lights and a silly speaker situation. But like that’s all the negatives I can think of and I’ve been at least a dozen times. I’ll be sad when they fix these little things that give it more charming character.Pro tip: Desserts are delivered on Wednesday so if you want one of Madison’s incredible creations, get there before Sunday because they do sell out.
The ambiance, the cocktails, the service all deserve 5 stars individually. No matter the occasion, Cloak & Dagger is my favorite option for going out. Their “Over the Garden Wall” menu was awesome (shoutout “Too Many Carrots” I think it was called) and I can’t wait for the “Cursed” menu for Spooky Season.
A friend and I recently drove 5 hours to Cleveland for a girls trip. It honestly started out hella rough. One girl canceled 20 mins before we left, I dropped my phone as soon as I got out of the car in cle, we had a terrible dinner experience. However, I had made reservations for Cloak & Dagger in advance (almost cancelled because what a day we had) yet we didn’t. And OMG the experience completely turned the trip around. Our server was adorable as hell and so kind and knowledgeable and welcoming. The drinks were impeccable to say the least, like some of those ingredients! Who’da thunk it? This place turned our entire trip around, and I wish we would’ve gotten more time there. I also very much wish they’d open a location close to me, I dream about this place okay. Make your reservations, and even on your worst days this place will turn it all around! Also be kind to them!
Awesome bar with great food. I seriously want to order the vegan brisket sandwich to go and give to friends to see if they would even know it was vegan. All the cocktails were awesome. Atmosphere is so cool and the walls are painted dark, but the lights were a bit strong and hurt my eyeballs.
Too fun! If you love good mixology: curated cocktails made with attention to every detail than this is the place for you. If you also love imaginative details like a menu that is a short book with chapters, and the thoughtfulness of getting your check delivered to you in a repurposed book jacket instead of just a regular billfold, than you will REALLY like this place. And if you like all of this in a cool, darkly painted room with vintage prints and a staff that is truly friendly and really good at what they do, then you will LOVE this place like I did.
Very enjoyable, well furnished but unpretentious. Bar tenders that don’t take themselves too seriously, but put detail and care into the cocktails - that are very delicious.I’ve never received an amuse-bouche at a bar before, a great introduction to the quality of the cocktails. The fries are tossed in a red miso and tomato powder, f*cking scrumptious.
This bar is NOT wheelchair accessible (except for the outdoor patio). There is a large step at the entrance. However if you are able to get inside, it is very cool and cozy. We had great service and drinks. You might want to make a reservation because seating is limited.
Well, it’s a really cute place and the staff is very friendly. But overall we thought it was overrated. I asked to switch out gin for vodka on one of the drinks and while I understand some things can’t be switched out (for example an infused liquor or bitter) the impression I got was that the drinks were pre-made and just poured into stylish glasses. The drinks were tasty but it did seem a little over done. But the real kicker for us was that they came up to us an hour and a half into our evening and told us we would have to leave in 30 minutes because they had another reservation. If you have a time limit on the tables…probably should have said something when we made the reservation. It was a nice experience but likely won’t be going back. There are other places with just as much charm and uniqueness in the area. Generally underwhelming.
The cocktails, service, and decor here were great (and I would absolutely recommend it to anyone who asks!) My only constructive criticism is that their music doesnt fit the atmosphere. Prohibition era decor with craft cocktails deserves some upbeat jazz/ragtime/moody tunes, not.....UsherYeah and Shut Up and Dance With Me (really, thats what played lolol)
Hands down one of the best cocktail lounges in Cleveland. The servers are fantastic, the bar tenders make the most delicious and the owner Casey is amazing. I appreciate their patience with my Bachelorette party last weekend. SO THANK YOU CASEY & THE ENTIRE STAFF OF C&D!
Delicious vegan food and cocktails! (Alcoholic and non-alcoholic)Cloak & Dagger is easily my favorite cocktail bar. Their space is so unique, intimate, and beautiful. And the staff is marvelous! It is an experience from the moment you step into the parlor to the moment you receive your check (with complimentary bookmark).
My wife and I really enjoyed our experience at Cloak and Dagger. The cocktails were delicious and the food exceeded expectations. When asked if they could make something off menu, the bartenders were happy to do so. Overall it was an excellent night out and I encourage you to give it a shot.
Awesome freaking place. Great owners. Attentive service. Their drinks are well put together and they think about the variety that people want from cocktails. Their food isnt just an astrix either. They have wonderful food. And unless they told you, the fact that it is vegan is a testament to how well the culinary team executes. Please check this place out. Cant ask for more from a place, especially during these covid times.
Co-owner Casey, (I hope I spelled your name correctly) was our waitress. So personable. So attentive to even minute details from the particular ingredients in their drinks to the casted hands holding lights behind the bar. Though the menu was limited, it allowed them to focus on the food they served. It was outstanding! I can not say enough how amazing their food was. The nachos were light and crispy. The carrot cheddar sauce was incredible. I soaked every last bit with the bread from my Vegan Brisket sandwich. Which, by the way, I can not tell you how amazing the sandwich was. The texture of the Brisket was great, and the combination of the meat with the spicy horseradish crema and pickled vegetables was outstanding. I just left and am jonsing for it again. I cant wait to go back.
Can’t say enough great things about this place! This is definitely our new favorite cocktail bar in Cleveland. We came here last night and sat in a booth in the back by the bar. First, the vibe is perfect, and though it’s a relatively small space they did a great job spacing out tables and making us feel comfortable in COVID times. Temperature checks at the door and hand sanitizer on the tables too. The drinks were *amazing*. Complex and well-balanced with something for everybody on the menu. The vegan food was also to die for (highly suggest the vegan poutine and nachos - none of us are vegan but we loved it!). The best part of our experience was hands down the service. Our server was incredibly attentive and was always checking with us to see what we needed. When we asked if we should order the nachos or the poutine, he brought both out! Overall I highly recommend this place for a night out with high quality drinks, great food, and the friendliest service in a great setting.
Finally got a chance to check out Cloak & Dagger. Super comfortable atmosphere. Food was spot on! I’ve been following Chef Todd for a minute so I knew he would come correct with his new home base. Can’t wait till the world returns to normal so we can sit at the bar and really enjoy the space how it was intended. Cheers.
If there is a cocktail in Cleveland that is worth the risk of getting COVID, it is the Messenger from Cloak & Dagger. This place definitely exceeded my expectations for a new bar in Tremont. The food was perfect, the cocktails were amazing, and the staff was attentive and friendly, plus they had COVID precautions in place and I felt perfectly safe with my delicious drink. 10/10 would recommend.
A few months later and things are going in a downward direction. Bad attitudes, ingredients obviously missing with no explanation or offer to substitute, and acting like the lack of communication is the customers fault. Very, very disappointing.un atmosphere, creativity baked into all aspects of the experience. The table tried most of the menu bc in truth its pretty limited, which was not unexpected due to the vegan only stance, but given the menu chances I wont touch on dishes. Overall, I recommend checking it out!

2022-03-02In love with this place! It is adorable, the ambiance is so romantic and dark. The menus are gorgeous, the drinks are an experience. The ice literally has their logo carved into them which is so interesting. I got a cornchata drink and it is 100% what it sounds like, fantastic! Will return here in the future, the alcohol is aromatic and explained super thoroughly on the menu and all around delicious!

2022-06-29What a perfect cocktail bar to relax at- I absolutely love the ambiance inside and on the patio. Our bartender was great and really helped us navigate our first time being here. The menu is so creatively put together and all the drinks we had were smooth and refreshing! Ive been raving to my friends who live in the Cleveland area, surely 5-star worthy.

2022-05-05Came here for a night cap with my husband to celebrate our anniversary. Our reservation was for 945 and we were a little disappointed that the kitchen had just closed at 930. They did allow us to get dessert & popcorn though. We really liked the ambience. Overall a very cool vibe. Staff was welcoming, although we could barely hear our waitress. My husband got her highness which was a scotch based cocktail. It looked beautiful but fell a little flat in my opinion. I really could only taste the scotch, it didnt have much depth of flavor. I got the tombstone piledriver and I thought it was fantastic. Highly recommend! Biggest turn off was the bathrooms. They were old and super dirty. It doesnt make sense that such a nice place would pay no attention to their restrooms.

2022-01-31We’ve been going to Cloak and Dagger for a few months now and every single time is a pleasant experience. The drinks are fun and different. I usually like to try a “safe” drink that is something I know I’m going to like and then something a little more “out there” that has an unexpected flavor or twist. The vegan food is great too! I’m not vegan but I love getting some of the bar snacks to munch on while enjoying the drinks! Definitely make a reservation because they’re always busy!

2021-10-01Perfect place, they are super cool people that shoes their passion for cocktails. I have been there 3 times and each time I get a different cocktail, it has never been disappointing. Food is good for a quick bite and all the people who work there are extremely kind. Gets busy so dont be a baby if you have to make reservations or if they politely tell you that they have more people coming over, covid has taken so many things and now its time to cooperate with following new rules.
