I went in on a Friday, ready to buy a scooter. Was shown around, and given all the info I needed to make a decision on a bike. I went in with a pre-approval for financing. The next day I received a call telling me that to get a firm credit offer, I would need to give them a $500 down payment. I was ok with that, so I gave them my payment info.I was called back a short time later asking for more money. It was not adequately explained why. I saidbI didnt want to put more cash down, and was then told my deposit was not refundable! At no time was I ever told that. They didnt even have a purchase agreement. I wanted the bike, but hadnt signed or agreed to anything. They said theyd be closed Sunday and Monday, but theyd call me on Tuesday to see if we could get a deal together. Monday I called the lender. They were able to explain to me that they would only finance up-to a certain amount for that scooter, which explained the reason the dealership was asking for more money. It sure would have been helpful for ClevelandMoto to have told me that.I didnt hear from them on Tuesday, but they did refund my deposit. I called them and told them that I would be willing to put up some additional cash, but seeing as they were selling the one year old scooter used, with a few miles on it, for essentially its original MSRP, I asked for a reasonable discount (roughly $160). The woman I spoke with told me shed present that offer to Phil, and if he couldnt get back to me that day, hed call me the next day.Well, long story long, I didnt hear from anyone at ClevelandMoto. I guess I should appreciate that theyve shown me they couldnt care less to have my business. They had no way of knowing that I have kids who would likely be buying someplace that treated me well. I love referring friends and family to businesses that I know will help you through an unfamiliar process and that wants to build a reputation for being trustworthy. Im sure I can find another scooter dealer who will appreciate my money.
Phil Waters and the team at Cleveland Moto truly care about their customers - even the ones that call from seven states away looking for mechanical advice. If you want customer service with healthy humor and all the integrity you could hope for, look nowhere else. Best personalities in the moto business, Mid-Ohio, and Peoples Court. 6 Stars for going above and beyond!
My wife has been talking about a vespa for a good year. We went to Iron Pony in Columbus as that it where we live. The customer service there was non existent to say the least, which leads me to Cleveland Moto. We called on multiple occasions and either spoke to Phil or Ranae. We ended up ordering a GTS 300 and driving 2.5 hours to purchase versus 20 minutes to purchase from Iron Pony. The customer service at Cleveland Moto deserves 10 stars but you dont have that option ! The crew at Cleveland Moto is well worth the drive. If your thinking about buying a Vespa this is the place to go! Thank You to Phil and Ranae for their great service and passion for Vespa scooters!!!
I just watched an episode on peoples court. The customer had great credit 720 and higher. The company will make you pay a deposit or to a third party financing company. If you are denied then he keeps your deposit. Hmmm seems like a bait and take situation.l since the bottom says deposits are non refundable. Avoid this place.
Clevelandmoto are incredibly knowledgable and a rare example of a one-off business populated by people who live the motorcycle (and scooter) life. Listen carefully to their advice, even if you may not understand it at first it is brought forth from very, very long experience, you’ll do well to consider it.They also have a very entertaining podcast.
Horrible, if I could give them 0 stars, I would.... their store is still closed due to Covid and by appointment only called to ask for the price on a cellphone mount that they have in stock, but they dont have access to pricing and will get back to me maybe tomorrow since they are busy with appointments all day .... Why the heck do you have a store then? I guess this is what happens when there is no competition around.
Website is garbage. Call them with your questions and 1/8 of the time someone will answer. Theyll probably hang up on you but its still more helpful than their website. Also they reply to negative reviews with obfuscation, child like petulance and a lack of professionalism.
Watching their channel on Youtube for the past year Ive finally decided to buy the Zero Sr/F. And I couldnt be happier. The knowledge and customer service here are fantastic and they delivered the bike to my door. Their Mom n Pop shop attitude leads to personal accountability and a great experience.
Went in for a demo of the Zero motorcycle. Fantastic people. Super knowledgeable, and really down to earth. My first time meeting them felt like seeing old friends I havent seen in years.I didnt have service done on my own bike here, but they have my business when it comes around. Another great thing, they will work on bikes over 10 years old! And know them well! Hard to find that in the local shops. Also the Zero bikes are insanely fun. If you havent ridden one, just do it. Youll want one.
You wont find many shops this knowledgeable and passionate about vintage and modern motorcycles and scooters. Wanted to give a shout out to James for always shooting me straight and taking care of my parts and service issues; Renee for always being delightful.... and Phil...this guy knows everything when it comes to riding and servicing motorcycles. Theyve always given me great advice (peeing in the airbox) and great deals on service and parts. Independent MC shops like Cleveland Moto are rare. Hope you guys are around for years to come.
First, a few housekeeping items. I purchased a new Vespa a few weeks ago and have had it in for its first service. Ive also read through quite a few reviews, good and bad, to help me affirm where I stand. Having said that, I feel relatively qualified to leave this review.Phil was awesome, not only over the phone, but also in the showroom. He spent a lot of his time making sure that I was making an informed purchase. For that, I am very thankful. I’ve wanted a Vespa for quite a while, but sometimes you never know until you’re actually seeing something in person. I’m from out of state but close enough to drive, and he had me in and out all in one day, as he stated could be possible over the phone. So, I really appreciate that he was able to do that. But, on the flip side, I also went ready to buy and didn’t intend on kicking tires. Phil was very forthcoming with what he had in stock and what he could sell given current inventory situations. I was not promised anything that did not nor could not happen. When it came to servicing, both at the time of purchase and the first scheduled service for my Vespa, James was awesome also. He went out of his way on a separate occasion as well to make sure that I was well taken care of. He comes across as very knowledgeable and efficient in his work.Keep in mind, this is from a handful of interactions, but I stand confident in my rating and assessment as a customer. This has been my personal experience. Hopefully this doesn’t come across as a run-of-the-mill 5-star review, and I hope you understand a little more why I’ve rated Cleveland Moto this way.
Went in for guidance on a new scooter or motorcycle. Recieved abundant information and good assistance in deciding what is best for me. Very patient and answered every single question. Phil is fabulous and uber knowledgeable. When I decide which Vespa, Ill definitely buy it at Cleveland Moto.Update: got the Vespa from unkie Phil and its perfect. He showed me how to operate it and off I went. This is where to go for any 2 wheel need.
All I can say is Phil and staff are Exceptional and dedicated to providing customers with the absolute best buying experience possible. From the first conversation on the telephone to delivery of my Zero SR/F Premium, I could not ask for more. They are a reminder of what integrity and decency can do in the current market where internet is destroying the family owned businesses. I will never buy a bike from anyone else as long as they stay in business. They are that good. These folks earn your hard earned coin and deserve absolutely every success for their effort. Communication is second to none. I think Phil does the Zero company stalwart marketing... he is a Zero Expert... thanks guys for my bike and for putting a smile on my face with that Electric torque... warp speed... I unreservedly recommend ClevelandMoto for all your Motorcyle needs... Cheers
I bought a scooter to ride over the summer so my husband wanted to get one as well. In April we went to Cleveland Motors and spoke w/ Phil Waters. He had the new orange Vespa 300. My husband would have bought the one on the floor but, he said he wasnt allowed to sell on the floor because they were for display. So after explaining he needed a date in June when it would come in or else he wants his 500.00 deposit back he said he would be able to do that. Well we never got a date so we got something else. Called him back wanting our 500 deposit and was then told he could give him the store display because he didnt want to lose a sale but, it was too late at that point. This man is nothing but a robber and liar!!!! Horrible customer service!!! Ive been in customer service all my life and I would never treat my customer like that . He obviously cares more about money then the people that make his business.
Bought my first Vespa ever at Cleveland Moto. What a great experience. James was excellent, answered all my questions and made the process fun. He even went out of his way to help me when I made a rookie mistake. A good company with good people. Thank you so much James!
In the past year I purchased a new Vespa from Cleveland Moto and recently went in for service on my other scooter. New scooter purchase was great. Phil covered all the bases with my new purchase and I left happy and with confidence. During my recent service on my other scooter I needed new tires and a USB port installed for an upcoming scooter rally. James was able to schedule me quickly and provided top notch service. Traveling hundreds of miles, listening to my music and riding on new tires made this great trip even better. Cleveland Moto is the best. I will be a life long customer.
I wanted to thank Renae, James, Phil and all the other staff at Moto who made buying my first Vespa as easy as it could be. It can be intimidating spending money on an unfamiliar machine but they took the time to answer all the questions I had. Thanks for being understanding and patient. I hope in the future we all get to ride together!
I cannot recommend Cle Moto enough, specifically James Robertson. My friend and I accidentally locked the keys of her Vespa in her seat. After hours and countless phone calls with police, fire, locksmiths, towing companies etc, we called Cle Moto and talked to James. He was kind enough to record and send us a how-to video on how to open the seat by taking the front panel off and going through the glove box. After a full day of dead ends, James literally saved the day. Thank you James!
Currently looking at Vespas and havent bought a bike from Cleveland Moto...YET. However, I know for a fact that Phil is a quality guy, passionate about bikes and entrenched in the CLE moto community after taking part in some previous years Distinguished Gentlemens rides.
Fantastic shop. My S.O. and I take our bikes there every year for an oil change. The bikes come back with not only an oil change, but a new polish. My coworkers ask me if I got a new bike after the polish. It looked that great.Efficient, friendly service, that can sometimes be same-day!Cleveland Moto has a happy customer for life.
I dropped off a set of carburetors off of a Suzuki I bought that had been sitting a while. They explained the risks of rebuilding carbs off of the bike and that it may need additional tuning etc. They stuck to their quote, kept me updated, and were very nice. Very happy with the service. Bike runs great! Thanks guys!
Have yet to have a bad experience here. James and John do a hell of a job and are extremely helpful (even staying after they closed to answer questions). I also would like to thank James for lending me a bike to use for the weekend while an issue with their computer connection to update my newly purchased bike was being fixed. My wife has purchased 2 scooters from here and this is my first bike and I can say that we will be returning.
In February I bought my very first motorcycle from Cleveland Moto. The bike I chose is a used 2015 BMW R NineT. I live in Annapolis, MD which is about a 7 hour drive from Cleveland so I didn’t see the bike in person before purchasing it. I worked with James at Cleveland Moto who sent me close up photos and videos of the bike and answered all of my questions comprehensively and promptly. The bike was also advertised as the shop’s winter special, so it was $1000 off the original asking price. The bike was still slightly outside of my budget, so Phil knocked another $500 off the price, making it a really sweet deal for me. Since I didn’t have my motorcycle endorsement yet, riding the bike from Cleveland to Annapolis was out of the question. Phil personally delivered the bike to me for a modest delivery fee, it arrived less than two weeks after I mailed the money to Cleveland Moto. I’d like to add that Phil was hoping to pickup a car he was importing in MD at the same time he was delivering g the bike, I really wanted my bike on a certain day and that day did not match up with Phil’s pickup date for the car - he happily delivered the bike to me on my preferred date anyway! I really appreciated that. When the bike arrived it was exactly as promised except it needed new rear brake pads, my local shop replaced them for just $75. No big deal.I now have my motorcycle license and have been loving riding my bike all over town. Thank you Cleveland Moto!
Ive been in here twice now, and both times the workers were very rude and I was treated poorly. The fist time I went in I was looking for my first bike, the heavy set older guy was very rude and made me feel stupid cause I didnt know what kind of bike I wanted. The second time I went in was today and the tall guy with a beer gut laughed in my face about my current motorcycle, then ignored me while I asked questions about the showroom bikes.TAKE YOUR BUSINESS TO TRIUMPH CLEVELAND. THEYVE NEVER TREATED ME BAD AND MY FRIENDS ALSO HAVE HAD GOOD EXPERIENCES THERE
Purchased a Vespa. It was over promised and under delivered. Was told it was available and would ship in 3 days, we waited 3 weeks. We constantly had to reach out for updates and they would not return our calls. They did not once proactively keep us informed. We also purchased a different seat and never had any updates on that. We ended up cancelling it a month and a half later. Then, we received the title (2 days after our tags expired) in the mail with the incorrect model number. So we call and they blamed the title bureau. IMO it shouldve been verified by the place we purchased it at. Now we get to drive to a title bureau and purchase a new title. Not one part of this process went smoothly. Im to have my Vespa and to be done with this place.
Just brought home my 2019 Zero DSR last night. Made some adjustments for my size, added a RAM phone mount and a GIVI storage box on the back and took my wife out to dinner on it. I am so glad Phil called and made me an offer I just couldnt refuse on this bike. Best way to explain it is to just go ride one. Got me hooked two years ago and I know we are going to have a lot of fun on it.
Just noticed the Mentor store has closed. I can understand why. Pretty much ripped me off. Took my Suzuki in last year because it would not start. They had it for three weeks and the new they called me and said it would cost thousands to repair and he would not do it even if it was winter. Told me that he would help me salvage it if I wanted. I got it home, went to the Suzuki forums, bought a G-Man battery for $150 and now it runs perfect. They pretty much stole $250 from me in my opinion. They talk a good good game but can’t back it up with service or skill.
My Vespa LXV150 was stalling and not running well. I tried a local dealer for service and he kept it for a month and said he did the the work under Vespas warranty. It was not fixed and the warranty had expired.A friend told me he was taking his scooter to Pride of Cleveland in Lakewood and could transport mine also. They were great to deal with and kept me aware of what they found and asked me for approval of repairs before proceeding. When I got the bike back after Thanksgiving and eventually rode it there was still a problem. I called and they said not to worry they would come to Canton and pick up the scooter and trouble shoot it. They found an intermittent fuel pump problem (hard to detect) and replaced it and straightened up some fuel lines replaced by the other dealer. Phil, the owner returned my scooter and said there were no additional charges, he just wanted to see me satisfied and confident to ride my Vespa.Renae and James were great to work with at POC and I will not hesitate to recommend them and service my scooter there.
Two stores - Great service at both. Ive graduated from a Vespa to a Moto Guzzi with their support and guidance. Ive never hesitated to refer them to friends. Phil and the gang really know their bikes. Tons of fun, they also do tech sessions for folks interested in working on their own machines.
I just called to inquire about help around a service manual that I was having trouble finding. The response I received was I could not be less interested. I was also told that because I was not a customer, they did not have any skin in the game or interest in helping me. It is true that I was not a customer, but it is also true that now I never will be. They did helpfully request I google it. Let me be clear that the review is not based on whether they could help me, its based on the fact that they couldnt be bothered to even care.
Thanks for the free battery I remember your price was $180 and you can get one online for around $40. I think Phil should be in the ballooning business where they take people up for rides. that is because he is full of hot air. By the way, that battery is still working great! I think it is three years old. About the same age that Phil acts like. Look on you tube for videos on how to fix your own instead of getting robbed. To bad they are the only place to get a Moto Guzzi fixed or parts. Fixed it myself. Works perfect, just like factory original! HEY... I thought knew what they were doing. If you need a tire changed do not pay $300, take it off the bike yourself, go to Tire Depot in Willoughby. They will put the new one on the rim for $30. I bought the tire off the internet. Tire depot did a perfect job. It was a front tire, had the bike up past 100 no wobbbles!!! It was a Michelin.
Bought a 2001 Kawasaki Concours from him that developed a bevel gear gasket leak around 6 months after sale and he told me to wait a month to service it. So i let a month pass, and he REFUSES to service it. Even something as recent as half a year he completely snubs you on any and all service.Anything he sells will require loads of service too, since all he sells is disposable bikes like moto guzzi junk that falls apart after 5K miles and kymco garbage that blows a transmission after 10K miles. none of this Phil will service, despite him telling you that he will. Phil is a liar and has hidden tons of negative reviews.Liar Phil also does shoddy work, as X-rated cycles in eastlake tells me that he cleans up after his awful repairs that he DOES actually get to on the regular. I had tires put on by him on my 1994 Suzuki Katana backwards! So maybe its a good thing that he refused to work on my bike(that I fixed myself)Never do Business with Liar Phil, Search for Liar Phils negative reviews, I will repost this each time Liar Phil hides it. Liar Phil is a dishonest huckster and everyone needs to know the special way he conducts Business.
Tried to do business with these guys a few times because they are local. I went in the shop twice tried to get some information on a purchase. Called them on the phone tried to get some information on service on another scooter. Not helpful at All. Would not recommend them.
Rip-off!!! $97 to put rubber on a set of rims! I took my tires off the bike... took the old rubber off the rims and asked them to just mount the new rubber... not even balance them... and they held my tires until I paid $97.20. I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE AGAIN!!! So much for keeping my business local!
Fantastic Service - I own 4 motorcycles A Triumph Speed Triple, a Ducati Supersport, A BMW R1200GS and a Moto Guzzi Stelvio 1200. I chose to have Cleveland Moto do all of my Service. Just last week they saved me over $600 on a valve adjustment on my Ducati. Ive been riding for over 30 years and have lived in 3 different countries. Moto is the closest youll get to a proper motorcycle shop. Now how about a coffee lounge?
Bad Business Practice. I went 5/23/14 tested and drove a 2010 Kymco Xciting 500 Scooter. I liked it sales lady did paperwork for me to take to my credit union for loan approval comes to find out that upon me calling her again on 5/27/14 she told me that someone else put a deposit on the same scooter on 5/24/14. And she did not had the decency of calling me and notify me of the problem. Would not recommend.
Let me tell you about Phil thats works there. No Harley shop would give me the time of day for infor on my 99 roadking.I talk to alot of them but Phil was on the phone a good 25 mins to help me with my Harley when no else would.Very knowledgeable abour bikes and the older Harleys. He is the guy to see about anything bike related. Thanks Phil I appreciate you taking the time with me and sharing your knowledge.Lifetime customer.!!!!
Was going to look at a vehicle for sale but owner appears to be a real dolt himself as questions seem something he fails at! Avoid this place not impressed from my experience in the automotive industry. I left many messages, so not sure why the business would ask after I already bought elsewhere, they have no intention to improve.
So, you know how you have a great weather day, the chores are done, nothing in front of you but miles of glorious riding, and then you do something SO stupid its like scratching the side of your Veyron with a key? Yeah, I dont have one of those either but a boy can dream.I screwed up good but the day was saved because of a very generous fellow motorcyclist at Cleveland Moto in Lakewood by the name of James, or as I refer to him, my new BFF.Went to Breadsmith for breakfast and managed to not only leave my key in the ignition but left the lights on. Sometimes Im not a smart man. Soooo, I get outside and the combination of hottest day of the year with an already stressed battery and there was absolutely no joy when trying to start her up. What to do, what to do. As 1) I was 15 miles from home and 2) didnt want to hear about it for a couple of weeks from my considerably better half, I decided to walk to Cleveland Moto and beg their help.I offered to pay whatever my sins would cost me. A man named James immediately said, No problem... and got some tools and a spare battery together and met me back at my bike.Within a few minutes Snagglepuss (you got a problem with that??) roared to life and once again all was well in my world. I offered James every bit of the cash I had in my pocket but he firmly refused it. I could not express to him and cannot to you, reader, how very grateful I was for his generous and swift assistance. James said, Just pay it forward... and I promised I would.Thank you, James, for your kindness, time, and expertise. And, thank you, Cleveland Moto for hiring such a cool guy.So, imagine, if THIS is how they treat you when you DONT spend money there, how do they treat you when you do? I have to believe pretty damn great.
I am new to riding and the owner Phil was everything I could have hoped for in terms of helping decide what right for me I recieved all the information I wanted and more and the atmosphere of this place is one that cant be beat you walk in and you instantly know that they care about you, their bikes, and their business I bought my first bike from them today and I so happy that I did it with Cleveland moto and that I did it from Phil and his team
Visited the showroom via appointment and spoke with Phil. Extremely knowledgeable on the Vespa history and product. After the visit I reviewed the options and eventually I placed an order request and placed a desposit for a new Vespa. Order was fulfilled earlier then the quoted 2 month time. Great experience with a very knowledgable staff on the Vespa Brand.
OMG!!! I have wanted a Vespa for a long time now and Cleveland Moto did not disappoint. First off Cleveland Moto does have other makes and models (in case you are shopping for other than Vespa) however I was only there for the Vespa. I never felt like I was on a sales floor in a showroom. I felt like a little kid was telling me all about the newest coolest toy he just got. Phil is so passionate and knowledgeable and his staff is amazing. I even called ahead on a holiday weekend expecting to leave a message and James ANSWERED and assisted me. These folks are putting in long hours even on holidays (sometimes) to help their customers. Two things to keep in mind.1. There is often a wait time before being able to receive your Vespa. This IS NOT a Cleveland Moto issue. Vespa web page quoted almost 3 months. Phil got me mine in less time than that and I hope I did not annoy him with my bombardment of phone calls (if I did he and his staff never treated me like I did...lol). Just be prepared to wait from purchase to time of receiving bike but it is well worth it.2. They do deliver. One of my main concerns was how to get it home since I had no truck or trailer but they accomodated (for an additional fee but I expected it and it was very reasonable....no price gouging anywhere with these folks). I made arrangements since I would not be home at time of delivery and they were professional and friendly upon delivery also. For this rather large purchase I chose to make (large for me) I wish I could rate them higher than 5 stars but alas, all I can say is THANK YOU Cleveland Moto Team. The saying. Cleveland Rocks definitely applies to Cleveland Moto.🙂
I put a deposit on a Vespa in March. I was told it was “in stock” by Renee. Which I believed since I figured it was a reputable dealer. I’m am not from the area so I had to conduct business over the phone. When I spoke with Renee she stated that when I was ready I could pick up my scooter. So a few weeks goes by and I got ready to drive from Buffalo to Cleveland, gave a call to Cleveland moto and some “not so polite “ guy answered the phone. Tells me they don’t have a scooter for me that the scooter that was “in stock” has to stay on the sales floor. Total b.s. either renee lied or that guy lied. Either way I decided I no longer wanted the vehicle I was told was waiting for me and now was not. So I spoke with Phil. The owner who was not understanding at all and frankly if I lived closer I’d pay him a visit personally. He refused to refund my deposit even though I have not signed any paper stating it’s non refundable. I’m sure he has some good customer experiences locally. But if your from somewhere else buyer beware. They won’t tell you non refundable up front. Phil was very pushy trysting to tell me that he knows I’ll want the scooter etc. like he knows me in fact we never spoke before that. Phil will more than likely try and say it’s my fault (cause his customers are never right!) if I can save one person their deposit it makes losing money totally worth it. THIEVES! This review cost me 500$ so if you think some kind of response is valid it not. If so,You must be a loser with a brand name tattoo on your body LOL(Vespa) 😂.*****im sure it’s sitting there just like when I was told it was and called to pick it up and you didn’t have it 2 weeks later. Renee never called me back. EVER. First time I called you said it was in stock then not in stock when I try to collect the scooter. I never bought another scooter I wanted a Vespa. It’s too bad I haven’t heard word one from you. You spoke to me like I had been there before. I never was. I have read reviews that say the same thing I’m saying. You did nothing to salvage the sale your people messed up and you covered for them (it’s here it’s not it’s here). Make sure that the people reading get the correct story. And let me make one last thing clear. When you took my money and said you had it my name should be on that machine and that’s final. Weather I waited weeks to call does not matter as it was March and I told Renee specifically I would not call to pick up until late April. Get it right!
Phil, Merritt, Renae, James From Pre Appointment, appointment, and through out the entire process we’re fantastic, all their honesty up front and answering my questions was nothing short of 1st class! What an experience from star to finish! Definitely looking forward to the same experience when I get my Wife’s Vespa for her. Thanks Guys for Under Promising and Over Delivering and making me feel like a first rate Freaking Cool Guy!
Beware of Cleveland Moto and Phil Waters. The only reason this shop is in business is because no one else in the Cleveland area services Vespa or scooters. The man is a bully, condescending towards woman and just rude. His best tactic is when a negative review is left. Phil first he throws a tantrum in his response, like some five-year-old whom didnt get their way. Then he follows up with youre more than welcome to personally come see me. That is where the intimidation and his aggressive bullying tactics start. The positive reviews are either paid for or written by he and his staff. Cant wait to see his response to this.

2022-06-24My wife and I just purchased her second Vespa from ClevelandMoto. In addition to the scooters, we have purchased accessories and had service performed by ClevelandMoto.Phil and his crew have treated us like family every time we walk in the door. It doesn’t matter if we’re just browsing or making a major purchase. We have consistently been treated wonderfully. They communicate well regarding special orders and do everything possible to make sure you have the item you need when you are up against a deadline, or just really excited for your new scooter. We are extremely fortunate to have ClevelandMoto locally. I wouldn’t want to shop anywhere else

2022-07-09I’ve never had such a pleasant experience.I waited just shy of 13 weeks for a Piaggio Liberty in my home town of Columbus to find out the wrong one was ordered.I called Phil at Cleveland Moto immediately - He mentioned he had a few coming in but didn’t feel comfortable giving me an exact time of arrival. I was happy to give him a deposit with his confidence and friendliness. Renae reached out a few days later to ask if I needed any accessories added before pickup. Of course I wanted to add a battery tender charger for the winter months. Two weeks, two days later they had posted some new scooters had arrived on Instagram - I reached out to Renae to see if one was mine.. She replied back right away, she would look into the 30 that arrived… The following day, she called and asked when I could come up and make the purchase. Easiest transaction ever!Phil went over my new scooter and even added the tender - He also helped me load the scooter in the back of my truck and tied it down for me. Not gonna lie, I wasn’t expecting the exceptional experience they gave me. Communication, friendliness and reliability was top notch from beginning to end!I will for sure purchase from there again!

2022-06-24We don’t think it’s possible for anyone to be more knowledgeable about 2-wheeled vehicles than Phil, but more importantly he’s eager to offer tutorials and instruction. With James’ help, we were able to leave Cleveland Moto to return to Erie, PA on the same day with a shiny, new Vespa—-secured and safe (with the help of Phil, James, and the stalwart Guardians) on a sturdy VersaHaul. We’ll be satisfied with our Vespa for a long time to come, but when the need arises, we’ll return to the one, the only, the clearly five star ClevelandMoto! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

2022-04-18Made an appointment. I was greeted politely. I explained what I was looking for and was left alone to view their wonderful selection. After taking about thirty minutes looking at and selecting a scooter that I knew absolutely nothing about other than it looked sharp and I was comfortable on it, I asked for some help to learn about the specifics about the scooter I selected. The owner spent about thirty minutes thoroughly explaining the the details about the scooter to me.I purchased the scooter in February. He let me store it at his facility until the weather permitted me to get it home!Best employees, best price, still.I bought scooters previously from this establishment and they have and will keep me as a customer as picky as I am😂!To them I say “ thank you” and may the customers be as satisfied as I am!

2022-06-25The owner, Phil, went above and beyond for us when he gave us our deposit refund back, even though we knew there were no refunds on deposits. We needed the scooter very quickly on a whim within a couple of days for a trip we were going on and the scooters we were purchasing here wouldnt have arrived on time, which was not the companys fault. They were very kind here and had a huge selection of motorcycles and scooters. We will definitely use them in the future

2022-06-17I thought the owner and his team were all amazing. So knowledgeable so friendly. It only took 5 minutes to buy the scooter I wanted. But I talked to them for 40 minutes because it was just a really nice experience. Would refer anybody to them.

2022-06-23I just saw this on peoples court and I agree do not do business with this place! To keep someone deposit due to be denied finances is a rip off! I understand a restock fee may be necessary but you know you were probably able to sell that scooter so you are making more money. Now what if 5 people come into your shop and only 2 approve? That means you got to keep the other 3 money at 500 each. Bad business!Reply: Still give you a 1 star because at that very moment you could have gave him a refund of the 425.00 to show that good faith effort! How do you know he didn’t have 700 credit score? He could have been denied on having too much money going out vs coming in. Again I’m almost certain that very same scooter you had you sold. You are a rip off and if it’s your policy that everyone pays deposit I’m sure he’s not the only one you have rip off. As for having a business I do run a business and often times I do pro bono.

2022-06-24If you are looking for a performance scooter, the products Phil and his team have, along with their knowledge is 2nd to none! Drove over 2 hours for our new scooter and it was so nice to be treated as a valued customer, not a number! Thank You! You have earned a customer for life.

2022-06-01Significantly better prices than my local dealership. Liked how they gave the great price immediately instead of making me haggle for a week+. Phil was responsive me fast w all my email questions. Even helped me find a shipping solution (300 miles one way). Couldn’t have been a better experience.

2021-09-15Passion for the products the represent and sell, as well as unsurpassed knowledge of the products they offer and complete focus on customer satisfaction and service is what my wife and I experienced with the entire staff at Cleveland Moto (Renae, James and of course Phil). From our first phone conversation through the ordering process and finally loading our truck with two brand new Vespas. They not only have the answers to each and every question we had, but provided detailed explanations to support their answers. Living outside of Pittsburgh, PA and traveling 3 hours was well worth the trip and will be well worth it for out future bike servicing needs for the bikes as well as future needs/wants. I highly recommend Cleveland Moto and their staff, and I don’t give that recommendation lightly. See you in the spring for our 6,000 mile servicing.
