Dr. Steph is the absolute best. She cares so much about each of her patients and does excellent dental work. Their staff is extremely friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this vet clinic and boarding service.
Cleveland Road Animal Hospital is the best veterinary clinic in Wooster. I highly recommend their services including the pet hospital to board your pets while on vacation. I do petsitting with Rover and whenever I am unavailable for a client I always recommend this place.
Dr Harrison was wonderful when we had to put our beautiful Golden retriever down in August. They d taken great care of him for his almost 9 years. Many thanks for your kindnesses.
My dog Archie had recent surgery. Dr. Chad Bailey is an outstanding surgeon, and all of the staff involved is the same way. Everyone is professional and caring. My dog fully recovered. Best Vet I’ve ever been to.

This was our first time here and the Dr and staff were so nice to Charlie (our Basset Hound) when when he peed all over the waiting area!! LOL!! The Dr took her time and addressed all my concerns. The expense wasnt to terrible and the facility is gorgeous!! I think we found a new Vet for Charlie. Thanks Ladies!!

They are wonderful!!! They treated our boy like family!!! Im glad we decided to switch vets!! We will never go back to the that that wanted to put him to sleep to clip his nails because he was nervous in their office and they said he was aggressive. I have been here twice and both times they have been extremely rude and uncaring. I was getting upset and almost in tears because of the diagnosis they gave me on my cat, and the vet (Dr. Bailey I believe) was getting extremely rude and impatient and even started huffing at me. I was absolutely appalled. They don’t seem to take the time to do their job to completion and that has caused both of my cats misdiagnosis. This is a horrible place that only cares about your money, I will never go here again.
Not at all satisfied with the service here. I took my best friend there for breathing issues she has been having and the doctor didnt even listen to her heart or lungs he just did a very light examination. The prices in comparison to Ark veterinary hospital are way over priced. The nursing staff was very kind ❤️ but the doctor was very rushed and not very thorough at all 😢
Cleveland Road Animal Hospital recognized my cats need for immediate attention and I was scheduled for an appointment within 3 hours. EXCELLENT EXCELLENT EXCELLENT with their quick service, attention to the COVID problem and Extremely Friendly Staff. They do it Right and my Cat is feeling much better. On top of everything else the fee was very fair! I would recommend them to Anyone I know. Top Notch and Recommended!
Doctors Hencke and Stephanie are very excellent vets. The day care has been a blessing for my dog, and the staff are all very friendly. Grooming service is a cut-above, too.

I am on vacation and my dog is sick. I called several places to get her in with being from out of town. They got her an appointment. We showed up early and the got us in an took great care of Princess.I will recommend this place to anyone with in the area that needs vet care.
Fancy building, kind technician. Took pet in for ‘well visit’ appt.Had to in order to get monthly flea/parasite prevention pill. vet ‘suggested’ at least 5 different tests (cha Ching) for my well pet??? I did agree to some of the tests. They came back fine ( just like I thought) so the vet would then ‘suggest’ another test ‘just to see what else MIGHT be going on’. What’s going on is my pet is happy and healthy and old. $300 and an hour later, finally escaped out of there. Such a shame that a routine , no concerns, visit felt instead like a high pressure sales appointment.
It wasnt a normal vet visit because nothing is normal right now, but they did an amazing job! I couldnt be inside with my kitty, but I still felt like he was well cared for. It was also out first time to this vet. They called the next day to check on him. 😁😺❤️
There Doctors and staff were amazing . They got my pet in right away when he was sick. People say they are way over price but you pay for what your get. I want the best Doctors taking care of my sweet boy. Went to 2 other places in town that were cheaper and they acted like they didnt care and gave me medicine and said he will be fine. He got worse and thank God I went to Cleveland Road because they diagnosed him and gave him correct medicine to get him better. Wont go anywhere else from now on.
My dog was having some allergies and they got him right in. The vet and tech were so patient with my shy pup. Facilities are beautiful. Prices are fair.
Cant say enough praise for the staff and vets. Recent surgery for our Jack Russell and they took amazing care of her. Were so thankful for the care they showed our pup. Romi is all better now.Thank you ❤️
Ive been here several times and my cat was very well treated.
I made an appointment for a rabies vaccination. With that comes an automatic doctors exam which was fine. I was told the appointment would be around $75. They asked for her vaccination records to put in her chart. Of course you can’t go in with your pet because of COVID. So when the doctor called she went over everything and discussed that she recommended two more vaccines in 3-4 weeks. Discussed heart worm and fecal sampling recommendations. When I went around to pay as instructed, they told her the total was $180. I said for what!?! They gave her 3 additional vaccines without discussing it with me and made me pay. It added another $70 to my bill which I had to pay of I wanted my dog back. They could have done anything and then told me I owed money for it. Not everyone has money they can just throw away. The plan was for the rabies vaccine and well visit checkup. So incredible taken advantage of. I can’t even begin to express my frustration. I would hope this would be made right by management. Of course no one was there to talk to me when I was there. So upsetting...
I used to like this place. All they care now is about money, money, money. I came in for an exam for $63 and the bill in the end was $220. They like to add on little things here and there to your bill that your pet reaaaally needs (can get the same thing on Amazon for half the price). Unfortunately, the vet that saw my cat was very unprofessional over the phone when calling about the exam and literally laughed at me as well. Not happy.
First time visit here and so pleased with my experience. People say the price is high but you get what you pay for, and they were happy to give me a price before proceeding. Fast, friendly service and peace of mind that my little buddies have their health looked after.
Although a little on the pricey side, the staff, techs, and veterinarians are awesome. They take such amazing care of our pets. Last year one of the vet techs felt a bump on our dog. Turned into an emergency surgery that possibly saved her life. Cannot say enough good things about Cleveland Road.

Nice place with good service but boy do you have to pay for that. Most expensive pet clinic Ive ever come across...wish the staff would have coordinated uniforms with gold tassels and a towel draped over the arm to complete the ambiance, least I wouldnt feel so bad coughing up 24 hours of average local wages for a check-up.

Every staff member that I have interacted with has been wonderful and I have been more than impressed with each visit. They are knowledgeable, compassionate and have an amazing facility with the latest and greatest equipment. I would hands down recommend them every time. Not a cheap place, but when it comes to my babies, Im not looking for cheap, Im looking for quality. You get what you pay for and they are worth every penny. Thanks for you all you do guys!!

We have two fur-babies (1 dog and 1 cat), we have taken both to the CRAH and absolutely love the staff and the Vets. We would much rather spend more money for the top notch care and know our fur-babies are safe in their hands. Excellent service and quality Veterinary services.
We take our two cats here for their appointment and checkups and we really like this place. They have helped us with some behavioral issues with one of our kitties and helped us how to get her to the vet without stressing her (and us) out.

Have deep pockets!!! Since my dog needing semi emergency surgery on his ear, and the availability, my wife and I decided here. Was told the cost of surgery includes the 2 follow up visits. My wife called me at first visit, vet wants another $21 to rewrap. Then that went to $57 at the front desk. One more visit this Friday that is supposedly covered by the $1188 paid at day of surgery. Awesome service and work on my dog. But finding it maybe just a way to get in pockets deeper.
They really came through during a very difficult time for my family. Our dog Buddy was on his way out, we called our normal vet, and about 4 others, to try and get seen to put him down. Unfortunately no one was able to see us. We called Cleveland Road Animal Hospital as a last try before making the drive to Akron, all we wanted was our dog not to suffer anymore. Cleveland Road Animal Hospital we’re there for us in every way. From the call taker all the way until we left with Buddy to go bury him, they showed compassion, professionalism, understanding, and respect. I never thought saying goodbye to our family dog would be so hard and stressful, but Cleveland Animal Hospital made It just a little less unbearable. Thank you.
They took care of my baby girl Nahla. She was sick and it was the hardest thing Ive had to go through in my life. They got the job done with compassion and showed me they truly care.

Excellent care for my golden retriever. Dr Stephanie Bailey caught a serious problem early on and we were able to get our dog to a specialist in Akron. We greatly appreciate her attention to detail (reviewed years of past records from previous out-of-state vet), follow-up care, and referrals to the right specialists.
The staff is very friendly and competent and do a wonderful job with our pets. The fees are a little higher than other local vets weve seen. Routine office visits are $10 higher. The care they give however is outstanding.
My cat needed to be seen on a Saturday last minute he was very sick and they told me to bring him in right away when I called whereas the vet i usually went to said they had a vet on call but could not see my cat because the vet only specializes in large animals even tho he was a patient there🤔 any how Cleveland road animal hospital genuinely cares and put the my cats well being first they were so friendly and were happy to answer any questions I had I plan to leave my original vet and come here from now on.
Been going here since October of last year 2018. The ladies are always polite and helpful. You can tell how much they care about their animal patients as well as sympathize with the owners. I definitely recommend this place.
Came in here for an emergency and my dog passed 5 days later , it was late and they were all trying to get out of there which I get it . . I worked a long day too and just wanted to be home but my fur baby was in my life for 15 years , he meant the world to me and I expect a vet to value that and do everything they can . They failed to do any x-rays , lab work etc to find the underlying cause . When I asked the vet a questions as to why or how this happened her response was well hes 15... I went to ark vet a day before he passed and got all the answers I needed , sadly I didnt go to ark first , maybe could of saved my baby boy .
Our animals have been patients their for many years. We have boarded, get annual physicals, shots, surgeries and grooming all done on site. Its an awesome facility with great staff.Very caring and always follow-up the next day!!

My husband and I attempted to use the emergency vet tonight for the first time, and after calling the line to report our issue we waited almost 2 hours to never have heard from the doctor at all. I called every 30 minutes like I was instructed to do and spoke with two different women twice each who said that the doctor was paged and would be calling us. I finally called back and spoke with someone who was not helpful in any form and seemed to be quite annoyed with me. I finally asked to have the call to the vet cancelled and we are finding another vet.I am very disappointed in this experience and hope that they get better at this when dealing with other fur baby parents.- Ashley & Jamie Breneman

Very over priced and money hungry if you dont have the money that day, they automatically recommend putting your animal down. They DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOUR PETS STRICTLY MONEY. Staff was very rude when it came to me being hesitant on putting my animal down we asked about payments and she said this is a business if you dont pay us we dont make money. So no. Absolutely horrible time everytime Ive been there the first time I thought was maybe just a bad day but this 2nd time I was there was totally the same I will not return I wish I could give them no stars because they deserve 0
If I could Id give no stars. Was not impressed with how they dealt with my dog said there was nothing wrong with her and she clearly had some type of infection in her eye. They were extremely expensive and very non helpful. Will never return to this place!!!!!!!!
This place is not the same since Dr Howard retired and sold the business. My cat had some kind of issue that was never figured out regardless of the money I spent. When you run out of money, youre pet is in serious danger here. Money is all they care about. I took my cat elsewhere and had several more years that I wouldnt of had if it had been up to Cleveland Road Animal Hospital. The other vet treated my cat using the only means I could afford. It bought me over 2 years time that I wouldnt of otherwise had. You cant even get flea meds unless your animal is seen. Duh, it doesnt take an expert to diagnose fleas. If youre animal has them its kind of obvious. They will not treat them for fleas until they see them and if you have multiple animals like I do, that can get pretty pricey. You can buy the same flea meds from Wal-Mart or 1800 pet meds. There is no reason to be seen for fleas excerpt to make money. They built that new building and now they need to pay for it and your money is all they care about getting. Im still paying on a care credit card to this day for unnecessary testing. Dont go here.
My daughter had a true emergency having just moved to the area and not knowing where anything was located. She was directed to this clinic when her cat had dangerous breathing problems. Having to pay $400 justfor them to do an initial exam, she was later told that to continue care she would have to pay another $2000 on a potential $3500 total bill. That was not a definite number that was an estimate. I have never been to a vet that said pay first or take your pet home. Make sure you get an estimate in writing and ask what kind of payment they want before you agree to anything! We will be doing a lot more research to find an alternate emergency clinic. If I could, I would give this a negative star.

I have been bringing my cat here for years. My cat wont stay still at home to be able to cut her nails so we bring her here, usually only takes about 5 min. They give her yearly shots as well. No complaints.
Called Cleveland Road Animal Hospital with an emergency due to my dane having ITP and needing blood work checked. Without hesitation they got her scheduled same day. The staff were friendly and the doctor was kind, respectful and knowledgeable from beginning until the end. Even though we only came to CRAH for 10 days, the staff became close with us and were always personable with each visit. The doctors took the time explain and answer any questions. CRAH was so thoughtful and caring when our sweet girl passed. They sent us roses on the day of, and a card a few days later in the mail. I will be switching the rest of my animals over to CRAH.

They are taking great care of my 2 1/2 year old female Labrador. She has medial coronoid disease. I am hopeful she will turn out fine.
1st time going to this vet and they were super friendly and treated my husky amazingly. Ill be taking my other fur kids to them when needed.
Our Moms dog goes there once a month for her nails to be clipped and groomed. Staff is friendly. Only downfall is they are very pricey.

Ive taken my dogs and a cat here for medical treatment and think Dr Kaitlin, Dr Stephanie and Dr Chad are caring, compassionate, and top notch in every respect. I also love the groomer, Diane, who is both gentle and caring! Its a great overall atmosphere!
They are so kind to their fur patients. Im so glad that I found them. My typically anxious cat is nothing but calm in the hands of their vets and assistants.
It is nice to drop off your pets and not have to worry about them. You can get them caught up on their shots, have them groomed and know they are in good hands while you are gone. You can order snacks, extra play time and choice of lodging. They will even send you pictures of them at playtime.The doctors and staff are also very caring. Thank you!

Amazing place to take your pets either for their care or for the Pet Hotel. They are always very good with our dogs and we have a Pomeranian & an American Bulldog. They are great with both small dogs and large dogs and are very kknowledgeable. They always follow-up with a call to check to see how your pet is doing after a visit! They are very accommodating with appointments and always available for ER situations. 5 STARS A+++

Well we just went there with a very sick cat and their service was really poor. The only reason I rated one star was because that is the lowest it can go. And then after all the poor quality service they charge us $170 and they say you can also leave a tip for overtime.

Quality Vets and staff that do an outstanding job with all their patients.
Cleveland Road Animal Hospital and the Pet Hotel are a favorite destination for our chocolate Lab Choco. He goes to daycare every Friday, and boards there when were away. From the moment we leave home to when we arrive, he can hardly wait. He loves the staff, especially when they let him play in the water. And we know hes in good hands. When were out of town, we can see him on the webcam. If there are problems, we know well be kept informed. And if he needs a vet, theyre right there. We took him other places in the past, but nowhere else weve been comes close in terms of the quality of care at CRAH and TPH.

2022-04-20We’ve been going to the Cleveland Road Animal Hospital for the past 6 months for the new diagnosis and management of diabetes in our cat Eddie. I am VERY impressed with all of the staff here and appreciate the care you guys gave and the compassion shown in his last days. Options and availability for appointments is better than other area vets that had us wait weeks for an appointment! Whatever the price difference is compared to the other local vets is made up in experience and care to the pets.Big shoutout to the staff today including Dr. Chad Bailey and the sweet vet tech who made the tough experience of putting a pet to sleep better.

2022-02-02My husband and I are on an extended visit in town to see family before we relocate to Kentucky with our senior dog. My parents have taken their dogs here for years and have always had good things to say. Well, sadly over the weekend, our old girl suffered some seizures and it was time to say good-bye. I called Cleveland Road and they were able to quickly get us in. They treated us and our dog with compassion and professionalism. Obviously, saying good-bye to a pet is really hard even in the best circumstances, but even without knowing Lola they helped us do right by her and make sure she wasnt in any pain. The staff were kind and wonderful and even sent us a card a few days after. Thank you for making one of the hardest days just a little bit easier.

2022-01-22I recently used The Pet Hotel for my cat. She was there for a month. They treated her like she was their own and did a great job of keeping her occupied. Its also nice to know that, in case of an emergency, your cat is in a veternary clinic.When I picked her up, she didnt seemed to have missed me. Thats good.

2022-05-20Very friendly staff. My cat Sprinkles had been having kidney issues and weve taken her other places and theyd always say she has a UTI.We decided to try the Animal Hospital and they found that she had crystals in her and we got it cleared up and shes been on special food for almost a year now and hasnt had anymore problems.Definitely recommend this place!

2022-05-24Our regular Vet couldnt get our St Bernard in for an emergency because they were overbooked and short staffed They recommended Cleveland Rd Animal Hospital . I called , told them what I thought she had and they got us in right away (even though we had never been there before) . They confirmed what we thought was wrong and did an emergency surgery that day (which saved her life) ! Now Kota is resting at home and doing very well . Everyone that we dealt with was amazing , from the receptionist to the vet tech , to the Vet ! They called giving us updates throughout the day and called this morning to check and make sure Kota was doing OK. I dont generally do reviews but they have earned it ! Thank you so much to Everyone at Cleveland Rd Animal Hospital , you folks are great !!

2020-06-27Dela could not have had a better first trip to the vet! I was so impressed by each of Cleveland Road Animal Hospitals team members. They were extremely helpful during the scheduling process and making sure they had all of the accurate information and I knew what to expect. They helped me track down all of Dela’s past medical records, too. Dr. Steph was amazing and took the time to explain things to me. Being a first time dog owner, this was extremely helpful! I’m thankful to have found such an incredible veterinarian office in Wooster. I would highly recommend!

2022-07-08Recently I had a bad experience with my vet CRAH. I was angry and posted a bad review. A trusted staff member called the next day to apologize and explain what was a miscommunication between me and the person I originally spoke with. I also apologized for posting a review in anger. The post has since been removed. We have vetted with CRAH for many years and have never had a bad experience.

2021-07-27This is the only Vet we will go to from now on. The doctors, nurses and staff here truly do care about your pets. They are very helpful and patient with you and your pets needs. The facility is very clean and nice. We have brought all 5 of our pets (2 dogs and 3 cats) here for checkups and they take good care of them.One of our cats was not eating and being lethargic. It had lasted for several days and her health was rapidly declining. Cleveland Road Animal Hospital took care of her and sent us home with the right medicine and advice. She started eating almost immediately and was better in just a few days! We were scared and terrified for her but Cleveland Road took care of her and assured us that she would be okay. I fully believe that they saved our cats life. I will always bring our pets here and recommend them to anyone, anytime.
