Had a wonderful time at the Cleveland metropolitan Zoo all the visitors were supposed to do something properly was a really good day of educational Im just a chance to take the children out and about were having a sense of normalcy all the zoo employees were very nice
I bought a membership to have someplace to take my grandaughters. They got in half price. Not anymore! Full price and did they email me this change? Of course not! So many things not accessible. Oh yeah state of Ohio says 10 and under no mask. Theirs is 5 and under and its not on their website! How convenient. Dont waste your time and money going.
We have been to several Cleveland Metroparks, and added two more to our list today: West Creek Reservation and Rocky River Reservation. Both are clean, well-kept, with paved paths in addition to unpaved side paths. On one of the first sunny days this spring, were happy to have the paved paths. We did venture off onto some muddy trails, and were rewarded with interesting waterways and even a young buck crossing a bridge! These trails go on for miles, so people can enjoy the parks for as long or as short a stay as they wish. Bicycles, dogs, and runners are also prominent.

The Cleveland Metoparks are beautiful no matter what time of year you go. There are bridal trails, Mountain bike trails, walking paths and many natural waterfalls along with the gorge which was declared a National Natural Landmark. in 1967. The view from the overlook is beautiful especially in the fall with the many colors of the trees. The park also has handicap accessible paths and the Gorge Overlook is also wheelchair accessible. You can spend weeks walking through the connecting parks and seeing natural, and man made wonders. A worth while trip for families, teens or hikers
Like a sprawling root system, Cleveland Metroparks covers so much territory in Cuyahoga County that its hard to describe it. The best advice is to watch for the signs and look for a place to park. We have discovered new areas just by doing that. Driving home by a new route, we see a park crossing and note the location to return for a nice hike. Its often easy to eat at the same spots (sure its safe) and walk/hike the same trails; but a little new scenery gives a more complete view or what the parks have to offer
I had NEVER been to Edgewater before July 2017 and I was born and raised in Cleveland.Second trip last night. I cannot believe what a COOL place the Beach House, parks and lake front are. Food at the snack bar is surprisingly good. Park is very clean and inviting....very diverse and FRIENDLY crowd.Ill be back. Metropark you are doing a GREAT job!!!!
Came down to Ohio for a visiting with my son and the whole park power goes down and all the food shops close were and I ask at the tickets booth to see if I would get some of my money back or all of it back and they said no so me and my son left went to Lazer tag and my son said that this place suck cant do or see half of the animals or the 4d small foot or the rainforest
Great, there are 3 types of tickets from 22 to 26 $. It is not worth taking the most expensive one, because the value includes an unlimited 4Dkino, but I think that seeing once is enough, which also enters a cheaper ticket, and with the most expensive you will save $ 1 when feeding a giraffe and riding a camel, which is not worth it either pay $ 5 instead of $ 6. There is a carousel on which you can also enter adults, and generally a very large zoo, it also has two parts, one is located outside the main zoo, you have to go through the parking lot. There are a lot of animals, I went there from 10, because then it opens, up to 17, and in a hurry, I also rode the bus, because my legs hurt so much to walk, some parts are very far. But worth! There are also restaurants, but it is worth eating at the entrance, as at the top there is less choice of restaurants and the food is terrible.

2018-06-04It is a beautiful place. So much to see. You can take beautiful pictures of the animals. There is so much to see so much to do too. If you do go on a Monday I would pack food because food is expensive on Mondays. So enjoy your time there... Have fun. 🙂

2021-08-03Excellent place for family & friends to plan events. Wasnt able to book an event due to the people in special events offices was incognito. I wish there were more people willing to service people of color w/out predjudice.

2018-06-25The zoo is nice and spacious and the exhibits are great. One draw back of visiting the zoo today was getting something to eat! At 4:20pm most Cafes were already closed! Visitors should be able to buy food up until the zoo closes.
