Difficult city to do business in. Insanely high property tax, inspection fees, permit fees, rental inspections, POS compliance, out of county owner charges - they charge for everything imaginable. It adds up to 2 or 3x what surrounding communities charge and where does the money go? When you try to comply with all these policies and you can hardly get through to the city employees or you have to wait 30min on the phone or office . Happy I am no longer doing any new business in the city.

Cleveland heights police like giving invalid and erroneous parking tickets. Ticketing vehicles in cleveland heights municipal lots for parking in alleged disabled spots that arent legal disabled spots. Both state law and cleveland heights municipal code dictate that designated disabled parking spots SHALL BE DESIGNATED through the posting of an ELEVATED SIGN. There is no such elevated sign here, there is only what appears to be the remnants of a sign that was cut off years ago. And yet cleveland heights police is still giving out tickets for parking in this spot, that clearly hasnt been a legal disabled spot for years? Try to contest this in court and youll be charged in court costs what you would have had to pay for the ticket anyways. Its an absolute trap and ignorance on the part of officers who dont even know the law and ordinances theyre purportedly enforcing. vultures.

This city is full of corruption.Doesnt feel like City officials are here to serve the public they are just here to get in the way.I hope this city could hire people with talent but actually want the city to succeed and not people that just create extra bureaucracy and move business away.

Great place and nice courteous staff. All city offices are closed to the public. Handle business by web site and customer service representative by phone or in the customer service lobby. The inner building is now open,mask required.

I hate this city!!! Fix the streets atleast the potholes. Homeowner and tax payer over 25 years here and ready to sell and make the flight. And city hall...answer the dam phone and Tony from refuse and garbage, clear out for freaking mailbox!

Nobody should repair streets like we repair streets.Just depressing the current status of Euclid Heights Blvd. It used to be a good cut through, but now I avoid it. Who gives the final thumbs up to some of these road repairs?

This is a sad state of affairs to live under this wicked government.Rules are different for the different demographics. They ignore valid complaints and city ordinances in one breathe and if you try to avoid an ordinance they make you follow it otherwise get a fine.

Horrible. The public servants that work there are very condescending and rude..I witnessed a bailiff antagonizing a lady in the lobby while we waited to pay our fines.She questioned their social distancing protocols and it turned into a big back and forth between the lady and the baliff.He told the lady that he was being paid to sit there and she was paying to be there so she needed to just be quiet..Horribly rude.. I couldnt believe it.

Im a life-long Cleveland Heights resident and live my city. Our city hall is a welcoming building with a quant atrium at the front entrance. The times Ive been there (admittedly its usually to pay a parking ticket >_

The two times Ive had to conduct business with city admin, theyve responded promptly and been very helpful.
