Cleveland clinic is the best. I got into an accident on Thursday. I man hit the back of my car. So I went in to be checked out. I walked in, there was no crazy wait, and no multiple transfers back to the waiting room. I saw the PA and he was great. Do you know they called me the next day to ask me how I was feeling? I believe other health care systems should take notes on how to treat people. Thanks so much CCF!
OMG where do I start? What a GREAT bunch of staff working here! From Administration when you walk in the revolving doors, to Floor 7 where our son was, these medical workers are friendly, jolly, really care about patients and like their jobs, because it shows in the care of their patients! In such a hard time of Covid, they still find humor! Our son was in with a staph infection in his left leg, serious and scary, and they took AMAZING care of him there in those 3 days this past weekend! A member of our family had never stayed there before, as it is out of our local area, going forward, it will definitely be on our list! My Mother’s Care here was not the greatest. They took a very long time to start a simple procedure, one day they forgot her to turn on her oxygen for a whole day and she could barely breathe. But there was one nurse, adorable and SO sweet and caring. If it weren’t for her the stay would have been so much worse. This hospital is small and has a cozier feel than the campus but don’t expect the efficiency you’d get at the main clinic.
Visit was okay, except for:1. My mask slipped down,because elastic is stretching out. Second clerk in lobby yelled @ me:Put your mask up before Iwas even near to her.2. Second time to visitDr. Inkster. Both timesI checked in electronically.Both times I was left sittingin waiting area as otherswith appts. AFTER me werecalled in. I finally spoke up!!
HORRIBLY STAFFED.The poor nurses are overworked, underpaid, and unappreciated. One of the worst staffed hospitals in the CCF enterprise. Would expect a lot more from THE Cleveland Clinic.
I was so impressed with this emergency department. The staff was incredible from the beginning to the end. Dr. Ryan Haney was extremely thorough thoughtful and mindful and had a great bedside manner. Nurse lauren was so comforting and smart and helpful.
This is one of the worst hospitals Ive ever been in in my life poor man was throwing up in the waiting room for hours and they didnt even give him a room or transfer him anywhere he needed to be treated I had to wait 2 hours I just left because the way they treat people there and theyre waiting list is so unprofessional and They have no compassion for people I will never go here again and I recommend nobody ever come here
This is the worst hospital on cleveland. Dr kelly in the emergency room is the worst doctor I have ever dealt with. I came in on so much pain that I couldnt make it to metro from twinsburg. Its 3 am and nobody is in emergency room. Everyone is playing on there personal phones. The first lady comes in and says we will get you something for pain. We will start an iv and your leg looks infected. So we will run tests. Dr Kelly comes in and overrides the whole thing. He says your at the wrong hospital. We cant help you here. I cant give you anything for pain and I dont want to mess with your wound. This is a little community hospital and you need to go somewhere else. My wife was so upset and couldnt believe what thisan just said. How can he be a doctor in an emergency room. How can you talk to patients like that.
They let me stay all day 8am-9pm with my wife after she had a feed tube placed. Would not let me stay over night after we were not told we would be staying over night. We have been here for 5 days total and I could not afford another hotel stay so I had to stay in my car in 30 degree weather the last 2 nights. They were very nice in telling security I was outside and not to kick me out of the parking lot tho. 🖕🏼
I had a surgical procedure done and found all receptionists and porters extremely helpful and pleasant. The nurses and the Doctors were first class with care, very professional and put my mind ease. The hospital had a clean environment and would recommend this hospital to anyone. I would have no reservations about using them again. You go CCF for making great strides in improving patient care
Mixed bag.On the positive side, Saturday morning hours for bloodwork is very convenient. Most staff are courteous and knowledgeable.On the negative side, the level of overall care giving is below CC norms. Doctors talk about it.My one non-lab experience was mixed. After contacting my primary with concerns, he sent me to the ER. After 2 hours and a bunch of tests, they determined that I had Thyroid disease. Primary was notified for follow-up and I was discharged. That’s the good news.Now, the bad news. During discharge an IV was removed. A pressure bandage was not applied. (I’m on blood thinners...which they knew.) The next thing you know, blood is everywhere. Nurse freaks out. Calls for doctor, etc., etc.

Awful place. If you dont care about your health come here. Me and my kids were in the waiting room from 12:00 am to 3:00 am. I ended up having Covid 19 and was treated so badly here. One doctor shoved the wand so far up my nose I started to bleed. While waiting for a room the lobotomist kept poking at me for blood. She put the IV in wrong, making my vein enlarged, which lead it to burst. I ended up transferring to Ahuja, a hospital that surpasses South pointe by far. If you want doctors that care about your health go to University Hospitals.

By far one of the worst Cleveland clinic I’ve ever visit! Very unprofessional staffing . The doctor that I saw was very uncomfortable. Highly would NOT recommend south point for anything
They tried to stick 3 needles in a elderly persons arm at the same time and left the needle in his arm. Dr. Kelly is rude. They dont feed the patients and ignore signs for help.
I was admitted to South Pointe on 12/21/15. The nurses were wonderful, as was Dr.s Khalafi, Okafur and North. Nurse Veronica was especially caring and Nurse Michael (who prepared me for my endoscopy) was hilarious! They really made me feel so much better being in the hospital and not knowing what was wrong. Nurse Maureen was a sweetheart and Mike, in X-ray was great!I only had one person during my stay (I believe Annie was her name), who had no bedside manner. I know we all have bad days, but when working with people who are sick, we must be able to leave our own problems outside the patients room.I have a very regard for nurses. I seen them be treated horribly on occasion and I know I could never perform their jobs while wearing a smile. So thank you all for your kindness!
Smaller hospital with easy access parking and great customer care . Love that they are magnet recognized . Staff were very friendly and helpful and all seemed to love their jobs. My family has had great care in surgery and endo there and been very satisfied with staff helping to ease their anxiety and go the extra mile. Dr. Mike Cline is the best!
When you are in pain and in desperate need of help, you expect that youll be helped and served to the best of the institutions ability that you go to. I jumped through all the hoops, examined, unnecessary x-rays, and what do I get at the end? I dont feel comfortable helping you. Can you imagine that? You get to the finish line to be told no and denied what you have won, all because the doctor doesnt feel comfortable. If they didnt feel comfortable treating me, why did they act like they would help? They sure felt comfortable bilking my insurance with unnecessary bullshit.They made a lot off of me, but after that visit they will get no more. I dont trust this institution, and even if Im dying I wont be back.
Me personally say that these two doctors deserves 5 stars Dr.Allemang because he did really good job on my pop and feedingtube surgery,hes caring,kind and explanatory about the stuff he do. Also Dr. Cline did not play around as soon he realized I was loosing weight, throwing up and not eating or drinking,not pooping. He quickly hurried up,got me nutrition that I needed thanks alot guys , both doctors nurses are nice also the hospital itself was good , the er was quick taking out my mom stitches is also good too.I recommend
Fractured my hand and went to the emergency room. Was there for about two hours. I was helped by Jenna and Sydney. They were super awesome! I was very nervous, and they provided comfort.
This location is horrible, went in for an acute asthma attack and still had to wait 25 minutes. Then they asked me to walk to the back, using the last bit of air i had left, I really felt like I was going to pass out.The whole time I was there I had issues, and when I left I still wasnt feeling better. But it was good to get out of there, hey im still here.Youd do better going a little further to Hillcrest Hospital, probably the same difference in time anyway.
Southpoint hospital is the worse place you could take your love one. Dont do it unless you want them to go down hill. Very inexperienced doctors and nurses. The ombudsman does nothing with complaints. Shes over ever one. She works on the nurses and doctors side. If shes the top person there. You know it only gets worse going up. She will not help you. Get an attorney if you ever take your love one there. If you want your love one to live you need to go there often, get a camera , an attorney, bring your bible. Awful hospital. Nurses

Had a doctor who had Cleveland clinic privileges. During a crisis he never returned my calls. He later said he miss translated the message, thought it was for a prescription. His receptionist hung up on me after the incident. Very disrespectful and unprofessional. Doctor said he could nothing about her behavior, I should go to another doctor. Will never return.
Simply Awful! too much time describing the pain to the nurse then all over again with the resident and then describing everything AGAIN to the doctor! Long wait for the doctor to show up at midnight while ER was empty!Then they actually numbed the wrong nerve so I ended up having the pain up until morning when I went to a real doctor!I would not suggest this hospital and I do urge you not to use the ER while they dont even have a MD as attending!
My only experience with South Pointe is with their Wound Center. I have to say that Dr. Stork and his staff are the most caring team I have come across EVER!! Most of my appointments were in Mayfield Hts. however, I did go to one in Warrensville...and all of the staff at both places were amazing! Dr. Stork actually takes his time and listens to his patients. His nurses are the most kind women I have dealt with. I was actually sad my wound healed..lol. Thank you Dr. Stork and all of his staff for being so kind!!!
My mother was emergently transferred to, and stabilized at this CCF facility in September 2013. Overall, the staff was professional, courteous and helpful. We had a negative experience with the security staff, but ombudsman, security chief and nursing leadership worked together to resolve the matter. A special touch was warm (and free!) cookies distributed to us one Friday evening while sitting in a waiting area. There is free parking at this facility. Restrooms were clean and fresh.
My Husband has had two medical procedures at South Pointe Hospital in the last 2 months and we both were overwhelmed with the kindness of the staff. From the minute we walked in the door until we left we were greeted with such caring, friendly professionals. Everything was explained thoroughly from the beginning of the procedure to going home instructions. A special thank you to Dr. Foglietti and his staff,couldnt have asked for a better experience! They do not prioritize your care, on every occasion Ive been here the insurance department has been extra aggressive. The doctors will shelve you and make it out to seem as though you are lieing of symptoms. Who wants to spend hours at the hospital ? Either way its a quick er trip youll definitely be seen but will they actually help with the problem ? Survey says maybe
First I want to say the ICU staff is above and beyond excellent. I give South Point ICU 5 stars! But, if you have family member that needs long term care please do not let them be moved to Grace 9 at South Point Hospital. To my understanding Grace 9 is not part of the Cleveland Clinic. They rent out the 9th floor of South Point which is under the Cleveland Clinic umbrella. The staff on Grace 9 is nothing like the staff who falls under the Cleveland Clinic umbrealla. Grace 9s staff are lazy, uncaring, and rude, to patients and family of the patients. Some of things that my family experienced are they kept our family member sedated, they would not do physical therapy or keep her clean. Our family member smelled of stool on more than one occassion. Grace 9 is dark and uninviting, and the nurses are always on Facebook. I cant wait until they have to experience having an elderly sick family member, so they will see what its like to have someone mistreated who they love. Shame on Grace 9 for not representing the Cleveland Clinic System. I hope the Cleveland Clinic realizes they are being misrepresented in this form and fashion.
Very horrible service at the emergency room. I was put in a room for like an hour and 20 minutes and no one came in there, I eventually felt better and left.
Last year right before New years day I went to emergency for a tummy ache..excruciating pains..I didnt have wait long, they were professionals courteous and kind to me, the rans test and no time found out that u had a ruptured gallbladder, immediately I was sent to OR and had it removed, the nurses on staff that night, the different doctors even the manage of the cafeteria came and introduced himself and brought my order..THANK U SOUTH POINT EMERGENCY..I have not come across anyone or any hospital so great

They will take forever to tell you they know nothing. They can only get one test done a day it seems in a way to run up your bill over time. Take your loved ones to main campus instead, you will most likely get better results there than at South Pointe.
I would give 0 stars if I could! Older doctor talked to me like I was an idiot. I probably know more in the medical field than him and I’m not a doctor!!! On the other hand the nurses are kind for the most part and sympathetic.
The nurse or whatever her title is by the name Priscilla on the 3rd floor is as rude and nasty as they get. She needs to know that she is just as replaceable as anyone else. I cant stand when a person have a position they dont deserve.
I agree with a previous review. Only come here if you want to die! Stayed two nights and no one even checked on me last night. Hardly anyone comes in the day. I can almost guarantee you that some is dead in their bed right now and won’t be found for hours. Good luck if you do end up here.
Was sick a few weeks ago, they put me on medication that I was not on. I had an asthma attack while admitted to the hospital it took them too long to get me a breathing treatment. Wouldnt go back and less it was an emergency if I can make it to University Hospital will never go back to South Point. Only if Im dying will I go back.
Waiting in the emergency room too long. I have been wait. Almost three hours. I ask the a nurse what taking so long . They say they don’t know. Why it taking so long . This place is terrible. I would go another hospital.
This is the worse place to leave your love one my experience was unpleasant and it was un just this hospital and it’s staff needs to be reviewed for neglect and not going along with patients right and not following HIPAA laws if you love your love one you should not even look at this place go somewhere else Grace hospital is not we’re you want to leave your love one
Billing is completely mixed up. And when I call the numbers given on the bill, it is not possible to reach a real person. There are just electronic options and none have to do with an incorrect bill! I think they do this so you will just pay the bill even though you dont owe anything.
Horrible hospital & staff, my mother died in ICU after a bowel surgery there. On call drs were very rude & rough with my mother after surgery!! Worst hospital in the world to go to!!

Took my son here waited HOURS just for them to prescribe him something ON THE SHELF THAT I could have went in the store and caught and it COASTED MONEY OUT MY POCKET when I told them I had care source a bunch of times! Smh I rather go to metro then this place
The Radiology Department is wonderful. Very pleasant, professional, and thorough, especially in explaining the processes.

2021-11-23ER department was filthy. They put me in a room that had blood on the floor, exam paper hadnt been changed, dirt stains on the floor, opened bandaid wrappers on floor. I submitted a complaint but no one reached out to me. If I could 0 star my experience I would.

2022-03-03This review is for Dr. Michael Cline. I waited approximately 2 months to see this gentleman. On the day of my appointment, someone from his staff called me and said that I HAD to see this other provider, Judith Scheman-Bauman, today. I did not understand what was going on and said that I would speak to Dr. Cline. When I tried to check in for Dr. Cline, they tried to check me in for both appointments (for Dr. Cline and Judith). I said that I did not want to sign into the appointment with Judith. When I met with Dr. Cline, I explained that in the past my doctors thought I was crazy, but I actually just had heart surgery at the Mayo Clinic. He said that I had medical PTSD because I have been treated so poorly by the medical community. He said that he wanted me to see Judith because she would look over my file and suggest any testing might have been missed. When I met with Judith, she told me to listen to relaxing songs 4 times per day. She was trying to blame my poor microbiome on being anxious. She never reviewed my file and suggested any tests. She then billed $465 which my insurance denied. Judith even tried to bait me by saying, I hope this visit was beneficial because most people would have said yes just to be polite. However, I would not take the bait. I said nothing. Now, Cleveland Clinic is trying to collect $456 from me for services that I never wanted. Dr. Cline knew that I didnt want these services yet he lied to me anyways. He is a fraud. Please, please, please do not be fooled. Do not make an appointment with Judith. Oh, just for the record, I needed another heart surgery. I have absolutely no mental health defect and never needed a mental health appointment. I also have an extremely high proline levels which is an amino acid. It is a genetic defect where my body cant process it. Even if I had 1 million therapy sessions, I was not going to get any better. Dr. Cline should be ashamed of himself!

2022-03-08The Cleveland Clinic is the best. Nurse Tenia, nurse Amanda, and nurse Glo was amazing to me while I wasnt feeling well the past few days. I really appreciate their work. Keep up the great work you guys have done for me. I feel so much better thank you. I also wanted to say nurse melea , pcna tj, nurse hannah and nurse haley were amazing to me.

2021-09-08The radiology department in B building have rude staff and need to wait for a lot of time. We were waiting there for more than hour and people behind us are going inside before us. The receptionist is very rude and talking to us rudely because we are brown. We have very good experience with Hillcrest hospital but this radiology department is worst or because of our color they have treated us not sure. Not sure some places they dont honor time if the appointment is at some time we are suppose to go in that time 15 or 20 min I can understand but 1 hr is like they dont care about our time. The receptionist talking to the nurse about us as well when our turn came in. Not sure why they behave like this. They are good with old people but not with us, so no idea. After staying for more than hour and half I think we are the one who are waiting for long time.

2021-12-07If you arent well PLEASE do not step-foot in this hospital! Just go on to glory because this is THE WORST HOSPITAL you can imagine!!!!! And the woman that calls you inquiring about your hospital experience is awful! Take my advise. If you can make it to Ahuja go there, or again, just go on home to glory. I wish I could give it negative stars.* I must say this. The ER nurses were wonderful. But the guy who checked me in, my main night nurse (not my aide) and the woman who called me regarding the quality of service. Those simple s.o.bs need to quit or be fired...IMMEDIATELY.

2021-12-02After waiting over 4 hrs for surgery to be done my son in laws surgery finally happened. I understand there can be delays but the worst part was he could not get pain meds post op in the area due yhe time of night. I dont know why he could not have been ordered and given a couple pain pills to take home until he could find a pharmacy 5tomorrow morning. I am a nurse and worked for the clinic for 30 yrs. 2022-06-03Okay so I went to the emergency room surprisingly I was the only person in there so when I sat down I waited for a hour until the sent me to the mind you the ladies upfront wasn’t pleasant at all so when I got to the back I waited about ten minutes until I decided to just leave and walk out I saw nurse just sitting down own there phones meanwhile while I’m sitting waiting in pain so I left no thank south point.

2018-04-04This ER is past disgusting... They put my 1-year-old son & I in a room that was contaminated with blood. Blood all over the floors & walls... The nurse Stephanie was very rude & didn’t seem to care... she kept saying it was betadine & clearly I know the difference I work in a hospital myself... Every time I come to this ER I have a horrible experience...Changes need to be made... I’ve added the bloody pics on google photos...
