I ride RTA regularly. Buses no. 3 Superior and the bus that goes down Hough have to go around through public square when going back east because the City of Cleveland prohibits them from driving that ONE BLOCK to get back on Superior Avenue because RTA didnt give them some of the grant money that was granted them from the Feds!! Ignorant shtt!!
Would have loved to see it however its closed to the public. They do not want the taxpayer to see it (its a big secret).
It was okay i jus couldnt get the birth certificates i needed asap i have to wait for them in the mail...so it set me back on what I needed them for.. jus upset about that part
The building was closed to the public due to COVID 19. You could still get some information that you needed. As far as birth certificates and death certificates, you had to fill out the application and pay for it with cash or check and seal it in envelope with your name and address on it.
Complete and unutterable shame to say that this is Clevelands City Hall. Upon entering, you are greeted with the rudest employees, dim lighting, poor directional signage, long lines and service that can only be put in one word- filth. To say that this establishment should properly reflect the City of Cleveland genuinely disgusts me. Although it may be just a building, it poorly represents what Cleveland is about. The city needs to start being attentive to the message they are sending. God forbid I have to enter this building again.
The staff here have zero sense of urgency. If you need a birth or death certificate, bring a cot and a day’s supply of food to help you get through the hours you’re sure to wait. Absolutely the worst.
Went in to start the Building Permit process for a Retail space. The people at the Building & Housing Department were very friendly and helpful. It was fairly early in the morning and I was in-&-out within an hour.
The north elevator is broken 50% of the time. You can park in a handicap space and the only way to get to street level is to walk up 5 flights of stairs. Disgusting! For $10 a day per car, youd think they could fix the elevator. Sometimes it stays broken for MONTHS!
Continuous bad service. Havent had a good outcome going into the building in 4 years. They hold a grudge long that anyone I know.
Why is the city hall only open 2 days a week? I have things I need to get done and need more than Tuesday and Wednesday as an option

2022-01-18I called the new mayors office today because my street which is a dead end has not been plowed yet after Sundays snow storm, 1/16/2022. We got hammered with alot of snow. I understand the street department is busy but its been over 24 hours. The gentleman I talked to took my name and address. I told him I had to call off work today because my car would not be able to get out. I told him I called streets and my councilman too but with no help. I couldnt believe it but this man said maybe we should hire a private plow service to clean our street. I said this is the citys issue and we pay our taxes.So far our new mayor and his new office is not having a good start with his term.

2019-04-29I visited here to finish some paperwork...it was very quick and easy..staff were very nice and helpful.Security inspection before entrance.Parking available on site for fees.

2021-05-22To the right of the right most door on the front of the building (facing Lakeside Avenue), there is a geodetic marker imbedded in the wall. These markers are used by surveyors, cartographers and others to properly locate items within the world geodetic system.

2022-05-18I went there to get a birth certificate which they are doing same day now again. They moved so fast and it was painless. 👍

2022-02-04They city have had 5 plows go up and down the same Main Street and didn’t plow anything . They saw all of the people on my street being stranded and never once came to plow . Me and my neighbor had to miss work .I think the city should pay for the lost time we have missed this is sad!!

2021-11-22One of your Judges, Judge Dawson from east Cleveland is biased and you guys should really take a look at his cases. I wouldnt be surprised if he used his biases to deliver excessive punishments. Which is illegal might I add.

2018-10-31I’m grateful to the trash removal executives who removed the furniture that an unknown man dumped on my property. Restored my faith in the service workers more than the people answering phones at city hall. These five stars are for those who helped me.

2021-07-06No wonder why this city is going down the tubes. Bureaucracy at City Hall its just unbelievable. Something that should have taken 5 to 10 minutes took over an hour . What city hall is open only 2 days a week???
