Incredible staff and very knowledgeable with an answer for every question you could ask about getting whatever equipment you may need for a shoot. They are second to none in Cleveland and beyond with a friendly attitude that is very Cleveland.Weve been going here for years and there really is no reason to go anywhere else. Best around.
I love CCR.When the client wants you to have that extra piece of equipment that it doesnt make sense to buy, CCR always has it.We use them at BG Video regularly.And I love that they are close to downtown, but not downtown. Makes it easy to get in and out.

Well curated selection, incredibly helpful staff and friendly rates. CCR is our go-to most of the time when we need to rent, and a place we love going to. They have just about everything you could really need for shooting, not to mention mics, great selection of grip gear and lighting. Theyre always getting the latest gear and have no shortage of the gold standard in cinema production.
We flew in from New York on a huge shoot and needed some equipment so we didnt have to fly with so much. Cleveland Camera Rental came up on my search. As soon as I was on the phone with them, they were super helpful and accommodating, even making sure the shop would be open on a Sunday morning for a special drop off so I could catch my flight back!I absolutely recommend them for their customer service and helpfulness, friendliness and absolute professionalism. Cleveland Camera is Great! The staff is very friendly and knowledgable and they have an excellent selection of equipment and accessories for any budget. I run a video production company and they are my go to Rental House for all of my shoots. They are very responsive even when it comes to needing something at the last minute. Highly recommended!!

I cannot speak highly of this place. I had lighting and sound needs the day before my production began. We had lost our DP with the equipment - long story. So I was looking for the best place to rent the equipment and Cleveland Camera Rental was a godsend. They worked with our budget, met all our needs, and were extremely friendly and helpful.
Ive been using CCR for the last year and I have only positive encounters with the entire company. The employees are always helpful and they are accommodating. They have been willing to stay a little after close so I can return a lens. The last time I rented, I had a technical problem with a lens. CCR refunded my payment and sent the lens off to repair right away. This is the only company I rent from any more, no online rentals for me!

Great place to rent lenses and other camera equipment. FYI: Its all Canon equipment, they dont have any Nikon stuff in their repository. The rates are competitive and products well maintained. Stuff is friendly and cordial.

CCR is a great full service production house. I worked with Don on a shoot in Cincinnati as a PA and was very impressed with the quality of work and the high caliber gear that comes with being not only being a great rental house, but also a creative and innovative production company that creates broadcast level content.
Work brought me to Cleveland for a last minute shoot and I found myself without a camera for a live streaming event. Options were limited but Cleveland Camera Rental was right there. The staff helped me with the most detailed knowledge about the cameras they had, answered all of my questions and had me out the door with a camera in under an hour! You saved the day! The shoot was a success and the equipment worked flawlessly.

The morning of a two day shoot we realized we did not have enough cards to make it through the whole shoot. Found CCR online and got an expert on the phone right away, who shipped what we needed overnight. UPS sent me a notice the shipment might be delayed due to a missed truck load (fault of UPS) but someone from CCR emailed me to check if the delivery came through. It did. All was great! Thank you to this wonderful company with great service. I will use them again!
Very easy to work with. I was in the market for a new camera lense and after watching 100 reviews on Youtube I still was hesitant to purchase it before actually trying it out. I contacted Cleveland Camera Rental and they had the lense I wanted.. the rental fee was reasonable and I picked it up the next day. If youre l to try out a lense before making a purchase this is a great way to try before you buy..

Don Gregory and his team always go above and beyond for my professional needs. When you work with CCR you get real people who understand your needs from a realistic perspective. They have everything from a Panasonic ENG Camcorders to a full Red Epic kit and Cinema Lenses. They do a lot of Video Production so have the experience to make recommendations I can trust.
First class customer service - knowledgeable and dependable, excellent kit and very reasonable pricing. We used CCR for a high-profile primetime fast turnaround documentary special for the Discovery Channel, and would use them again in an instant.
I am a novice, doing a corporate shoot. We are on set, I am not understanding the sound equipment, and the client is glaring at me. I did not have time for a lengthy tutorial. I called and they talked me through it. we were shooting less than 3 minutes later. Great products, even greater service.
I found CCR on an online search. Although my initial camera request was unavailable, I was able to find a camera that fit my budget and was still a good camera (Panasonic AF100). The shoot went well, with no hiccups on the equipment. Upon returning the camera on the next day I was shown some other equipment that was in the shop including the Go Pro HERO which I am considering buying.My issue was the traffic getting into downtown.

The Red Epic package was fantastic to use. It came with all the media, batteries and accessories we needed for a smooth production. Beyond that, it provided incredible visual quality and an intuitive user interface. These guys are good to work with.

Its absolutely insane how easy CCR makes everything - a far cry from Dodd Camera. Not only is the gear great and the staff knowledgeable, but theyre also friendly and affordable beyond measure. 2022-05-23CCR is a great company. Weve worked with them multiple times and they continue to impress us. The team is professional, knowledgeable, and flexible. Don worked with us as a gaffer for a documentary and was on time, courteous, and efficient. We were ecstatic with the final results.The employees really care about the projects that renters are working on and assist them to find the right equipment for their needs and budget. 2022-07-01I’ve been doing business with CCR for nearly a year or so, Alex, Jay and Donald has always been there to help me out with anything I’ve needed. Whether it was a last minute gig I needed equipment for, questions on a particular product. They’ve been awesome. At this point of renting something from these guys weekly. 2022-06-06For years now Cleveland Camera rental has been the only place we have rented photography equipment. Not only is the equipment always in perfect condition and never any issues, the staff is amazing and really take care of you. Thank you guys! I wouldn’t be in business with out you!! I would suggest that if you’re looking for a great rental place to pick them over competitors but others just can’t compete with Cleveland Camera Rental.

2021-10-22This has been my go-to camera rental place for the last year! Ive had nothing but clean, well maintained camera gear rented out to me (Canon EF lens and Flashes). Alex and his team are very professional and accommodate your drop-off/pick-up. I highly recommend this place for all your camera needs, especially with the reasonable pricing! 2021-02-28I can not say enough good things about Cleveland Camera Rental! We used them for renting camera equipment for a virtual convention using Zoom. We used two of their streaming kits for our event, and they worked perfectly!I am not super technology savvy, and Alex was extremely kind to take many calls with questions from me. We also had technical issues (due to my own user error) last minute, and Don was able to come to our rescue! I could not believe the level of service and attention. Truly fantastic!Thank you all for your service and helping us to have a great event!
