I went yesterday (12/30/21) with a friend and my kids. We really enjoyed the Christmas display. There were many decorated trees and also over 60 gingerbread houses which we were able to vote on. We went through the Glass House and also walked through the gardens outside. We had been cooped up for a while due to having Covid so it was really nice to let the kids burn off some energy.
Definitely one of the top places to visit in Cleveland. The greenhouses are amazing and the butterflies are mind blowing. It is one of the highlights of Wade circle which is surprising considering its surrounded by the Cleveland museum of art, museum of natural history and others.
The outdoor garden part is not worth visiting in the fall. Unfortunately the outdoor kids area was closed. This would have been great to keep open as its much safer than the inside area which is open.Green house is very cool. It is two stories and worth visiting.$16 adult admissionSenior discount only on TuesdayKids 2 and under are free
Beautiful gardens. There are 2 indoor gardens which are very tranquil. They are tropical, indoor rainforests and they have birds and butterflies. Most of the flowering plants are in the multiple outdoor gardens, so it is better to visit in nice weather. They occasionally have special exhibits like the orchid exhibit: where they brings in several varieties of beautiful flowering orchids in full bloom. Parking in the garage is $10.00.
Cleveland Botanical Garden is beautiful but small. There is a room that is more rainforest and one that is desert. There is a small dining room with great food choices. The prices run about $8-12 for a sandwich like turkey, provolone, arugula, cranberry aioli on multi grain. Lots of bathrooms and a gift shop.
I understand that it is currently winter and the garden will be less then at its peak. That being said, I did really enjoy being in both the indoor and outdoor section of the garden. There was way more flowering plants there then I expected. I was also surprised to see there were some birds in the indoor area as well. They were clearly not native to the area, but was unable to find out where they were from.
Beautiful , extensive herb garden which is something i enjoyed thoroughly since i collect herbs. Japanese garden beautiful, someone was having a wedding, the hydrangea vine was amazing. Loved the fairy gardens scattered throughout. Didnt get to the whole place but my boyfriend and i loved the decorative gate. The butterfly house was nice but i felt sorry for the doves that were walking around looking lost and felt their sad hopelessness. The huge tree in the butterfly house and desert house were so amazing. Nice location near parks, other museums and a bike path.
This place was beautiful! I’m a little disappointed that we visited in the winter as there is much more to see in the summer. But the “rainforest” felt so authentic and peaceful. We were so thrilled to see the tortoise in the “desert”. My family will definitely return when the weather is nicer!
Very disappointed. Tropical greenhouse was only highlight. Water features were not working and many gardens are bare soil. Picture is supposed to be a “rose garden” I understand that plants may not be in bloom but the condition of many portions of the gardens were poor overall
The Botanical Gardens is one of the most magical places in Cleveland. If you are not a fan of the winter weather I highly recommend checking out the glass house. Its like being in a beautiful paradise in the middle of winter. The work that they put into maintaining the beauty of this place and the knowledge of the staff on all of the plants animals and insects is amazing. You can tell that the people that work here enjoy what they do. In the warmer months there are outside gardens to enjoy as well. Dont forget Holden arboretum is a partner and also a fantastic place to check out. Membership is not expensive and well worth it. This includes both the Arboretum and the Botanical Gardens. Truly two of my favorite places in Ohio.
We visited early before the afternoon heat, it was a great visit! Words cannot adequately describe the beauty and serenity of the gardens, I hadnt scratched the surface of the sights after 2 hours. This attraction is a treasure that will require more visits to fully enjoy.
The indoor gardens were amazing, especially the butterflies. The outdoor gardens were expansive and relaxing to walk through. The chair of the herbal garden was working in that section when I passed through. She gave an enlightening talk on the herbs there. Make sure to check out the lime herbs, especially the lime basil. The experience was worth the $15 admission price.
Cleveland Botanical Garden has a few amazing rooms, but even better outdoor gardens! The indoor rooms were full of beautiful plants, butterflies, and animals! While you can easily do all of the gardens, both inside and outside, in maybe an hour/hour and a half, taking your time waking through the outdoor gardens is quite the experience! There are different types of outdoor spaces with a rose garden, Japanese garden, children’s garden, and more. We loved the intricate trails, both obvious trails and several hidden paths. There were also plenty of spaces along the trails to sit on benches and enjoy the view! I must go to place if you’re in the area!
Lovely gardens and beautiful glasshouses. It was well worth the one-hour drive and Case Western Campus is really nice, so it made walking and parking simply and safe. If you plan on going a few times then get a membership and people who have SNAP can get in for $1.00. Make reservations for a time slot or tickets may be sold out. Fantastic staff who were pleasant and cared about where they worked and the people who visited.
A gem of the Cleveland Museum Circle family of attractions. Always clean, always bustling. The outdoor garden is marvelous year round. The oft missed library is very well taken care of and has a great selection of books on botany and preservation. Seasonal attractions are great for families with kids. Must visit while in Cleveland.
I brought my orchid-loving 86 year old grandmother and my mother here to enjoy Orchids Forever this past Wednesday. We have visited the gardens numerous times over the years, but this was our first visit in the past several years. There were SO many orchids. Seemingly many more than I remember seeing in years past. Everywhere you turned was another orchid. There were hundreds; integrated into existing displays/gardens, on pedestals, cascading down columns, it was breathtaking.I will say that we all had difficulty with our masks in the greenhouse. It wasnt as bad in the desert greenhouse, but the very humid Costa Rica greenhouse was a struggle. My disposable 3-layer surgical mask seemed to absorb the moisture and quickly became very uncomfortable and difficult go breathe through. My mother and grandmother had similar difficulties with their cloth masks.I also felt that the price was a little steep considering that the entire upstairs was closed for renovations, and there was also nothing in the large downstairs hall like there typically is during special events. We really took our time and looked at each orchid, spent some time in the gift shop, and were still in and out in less than 2 hours. Senior discounts are only available on Tuesdays. At $16/person plus $10 for parking, I did not feel that our visit was a great value, but those orchids were sure beautiful. Also worth noting, the ticket window is currently cashless. They only accept credit card payments. There was no leniency on this rule, which was disappointing because my grandmother pays cash for everything. The gift shop, however, did accept cash without hesitation, which I found interesting.
There are definitely lots and lots of plants, flowers and herbs you couldnt find locally. The overall presentation wasnt as nice as I expected, with multiple displays in progress and several wheel barrows and tools laying around next to obvious incomplete exhibits. In addition to that several walkways were closed due to (Im assuming) a light rain the day before. For 2 people ($16/per) and parking ($10) we paid $42, not great. It is probably best to go later in June (peak of season) and on dry day. This may be nice for a first date or if you are from out of town, but otherwise pretty pricey for the experience.
Paid a visit to the 𝐂𝐥𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐁𝐨𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐆𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐞𝐧 during a winter season weekend. The plants 🌱 🎍🌷🌸🌺 were absolutely awesome! I went with my family and for about 30mins we looked in perplexity at the many rooms of vegetation from around the globe. There’s a beautiful waterfall in the rainforest zone, and even a play area for children, so my niece and nephews really had a great time. The food area had tasty cookies and lemonade. Admission was $5 for adults. What a joyous trip!
Such a beautiful center with vast outdoor gardens and 2 indoor green houses. Loved seeing all the birds and butterflies inside and walking the gardens outside to get ideas for perennials that would thrive in my garden at home. Great place for a family day with a kids garden and play area as well.
Lovely experience, from the glasshouse with the plants of Madagascar to the coastal plants of Costa Rica there is a lot to discover. They have Insects native to the regions as well as to learn more about the environment. In the outdoor parts might be better to visit in the summer time 😉
This was our first visit to the gardens, and we were not disappointed. The glasshouses are great! We especially enjoyed the Costa Rican garden, with cocoa beans, vanilla pods, and bananas all growing. It also housed beautiful butterflies, bromeliads, and orchids. We also wandered the outside gardens, most of which were blooming. The Japanese garden was peaceful. Wed visit again!
This place was absolutely incredible and worth every moment! I’m a huge fan of flowers and butterflies and they had tons of these plus an incredible tropical to desert scenery change inside the Botanical Gardens with waterfalls. I can’t forget, the overlook was fabulous. Go to @joejoexm on Instagram for the full video in my reels. 💜🙌🏼
Its galss dome is pretty good, its smaller than what is expected it to be but it is comprised of 3 sections rainforest, desert, and the upstarirs from where you can observe the forest and the butterflies. The tree cave and the waterfall looks good i was ashtonised by the bottle neck tree but it turned out to be fake the little prickly friend in the desert area which looked like a porcupine was sleeping in the log and turtules were awesome as well. The most attractive things to me in that dome were madagascar butterflies and exotic birds. Outside the orchid fforever displayed the various kinds of orchid all over the garden and which was a good experience and outside under the clear sky the kids garden and specially the japanese garden was one that attracted me the most. The tall redwood tree was amazing and it had differemy kind of grass in its base was well.
My children enjoy this experience year round, but Im not giving 5 stars. The attitudes of the greeters on more than 2 occasions have been exceedingly unwelcoming and unbecoming of this venue. I contemplated submitting 3 stars, as well. If anything else goes awry Im dropping this rating down.
Great place for nature lovers, we buy family membership every year because it includes Holden Arboretum as well. The Glow was great this year with beautiful decorations and gingerbread houses. In January and February they traditionally have hundreds of blooming orchids on display with butterflies fluttering all around. It’s great in all seasons: nice splash park and kids’ play areas in summer. Very educational and relaxing to be there.
Outstanding gardens both indoors and out. The two indoor gardens in the conservatory are both national treasures. The herbaceous plant garden outdoors provides a bounty of blooms!Art displays in indoor corridors a pleasant surprise. Very nice touch.Gift shop is very well juried with high quality items and very reasonable prices during summer sale -- one of the best botanical garden gift shops in the country!Parking underneath I discovered, so no need to feed the street parking meters, although parking is $6, so if not staying long, street meters may be more economical... But not by too much.
The butterfly exhibit was the only place I found to be exciting. The rest of the place and the gardens needed alot of TLC. Most of the flowers appeared dead. Some of the exhibits were closed and parking fee is a ripoff. We ended up getting overcharged for parking despite the fees posted. Very convenient to purchase tickets online.
Hard to believe youre in the middle of a bustling metropolis when you walk around the paths - the tranquility and peacefulness that you feel amongst the flowers, lush greenery and mature trees... It feels like a sanctuary. Having a membership here is one of the best things about living in Cleveland, especially because its also a joint membership with Holden Arboretum in the eastern suburbs!
I officiated a wedding on June 24th and the atmosphere both inside and out was top notch. The ceremony was conducted outside and the staff helped with processional timing and it made it so easy on the bridesmaids and groomsmen. While the bride and groom took pictures after the ceremony, there were hors doeuvre and cocktails waiting for us on the terrace with wait staff walking around offering us very delicious treats! The reception was set up inside and again, the staff was friendly, accommodating, and quick to respond to a request. I highly encourage you to check out the location for your wedding venue. You wont be disappointed. And I would be remiss if I didnt give a personal shout out to PAULA, HALLE and MARKO ! Thank you team for making the wedding atmosphere one to remember.
Super amazing indoor gardens, with so many beautiful and healthy flowers, trees, plants and different miracles of life. Butterflies and birds flutter around the glass house, with waterfalls and an upper level observation deck. There is a gift shop, organized activities throughout the building, and a cafe featuring various seasonal goodies. So glad the lady and I finally got to come down and spend some time here😍
Nice place. Beautiful butterfly area - could have stayed there for hours watching the butterflies. There are beautiful rose gardens here. I really enjoyed sitting in them with my daughter looking at all the beautiful blooms. There is a great play area for kids. The gift shop is very nice with a lot of unique choices for gifts.
I absolutely adore this place. Walking around the gardens in the spring and summer, it is one of the most peaceful places in the city. I could happily lose myself here for an entire day and marvel at all of the beautiful and interesting plant life. There are so many different gardens to enjoy, and kids love their children’s garden which allows them to get hands-on and play. The indoor gardens complete with butterfly sanctuary are a great winter escape, especially if you visit during orchid mania. Breathtaking!
Was a lovely experience and definitely better than I expected. The glasshouse section with the canopy walk was extraordinary; full of butterflies and a nice jungle-like ambience. The flower gardens were in full bloom and were great. The Japanese rock garden was quite well thought out as well. Excellent garden and great for a casual stroll among the trees and flowers. Little rabbits and chipmunks can also be seen scurrying around the gardens as well.
This is such a wonderful place for people of all ages. The gardens and walking paths are so well kept, their annual special events such as their holiday gingerbread house show and orchid show are fantastic! I’ve been to many of their butterfly releases they offer daily and have thoroughly enjoyed them! Highly recommended this place for blissful afternoon full of beautiful foliage.
They really fixed this up really nice! They are adding more features in the garden too. The green houses is a beautiful site to see. I’ve been a couple times just to get some fresh air and relax. Very tranquil outing for sure! So much beautiful plants and trees! It’s amazing! For Parking the 1st half hr is free than after that it $10.
We continue to come back every year for the annual orchid show - and it was spectacular this time! Thank you Cleveland Botanical garden employees for all your hard work as Im sure it took a lot of effort to put everything together, especially during such challenging times.
Cleveland botanical garden is a perfect place to take the kids out for a weekend afternoon. They have an outdoor section with multiple themed gardens including a rose garden, a Japaneses garden and a play area with a tree house for kids. The outdoor section is very picturesque and a fun walk with a lot of small chipmunks and rabbits. The interior section has 2 glasshouses. One was a tropical greenhouse with a lot of butterflies and an indoor waterfall. The tropical ambience was great and would be a good break from the snow in the winters. The second glass house was based on the spiny desert of Madagascar, smaller than the tropical one but its got tortoises.
Wow! What an incredible place! So many things to do and see. The outdoor gardens are magnificent even in the winter months. The indoors are quite amazing too. We love the glass house with all of the butterflies! The parking is easy but a bit pricey. The workers were very nice and sweet with the kids. Located close to other cool Cleveland attractions.
It is really beautiful here. But wow was it ridiculously crowded. People were pushing others. There was another event going on at the same time, so that also added to the numbers. I kind of wish that they would control that more. It was rather uncomfortable. We went to see orchid mania. Unfortunately it wasnt like in the pictures. There were a lot of dead flowers. So I would suggest going to an exhibit like that earlier than later. Glow in the winter time is gorgeous!
Nothing special about this place. You can get more out of visiting any of the free metro parks or national park. The glasshouse was the best, but this definitely isnt worth the price of admission. If they had a separate $5 admission for just the glasshouse, Id pay for that. Stan Hywet is much better, and worth the cost.
The glass house has very pretty birds and butterflies and it has a beautiful tropical setup with flowing waterfall and climbers. You can spend hours looking at the birds and butterflies on a hot summer day. The tiny animals like the tortoise are cute, you get to see them being fed at certain time during the day. Butterfly release was also very nice and kids enjoyed the garden a lot, there is a fountain and a wood house in the children’s garden which was great and kids got themselves soaked in the fountain and had fun.
Ive only ever been to the botanical garden for Glow in the winter. It used to be a really cool event with tons of extremely impressive gingerbread houses on display but not so much anymore.Ive gone to it fine years in a row now. The first two were really good, but its been going downhill every since. I wont be going back again. Its not worth paying $16 plus parking to see a few mediocre gingerbread houses. There isnt a whole lot inside — just a small conservatory which isnt really decorated for Christmas.I have heard the garden is quite pretty outside in the spring and summer so I may try to come back at a different time to check it out.
This botanical garden should be at the top of your family outing list. I’ve not seen it’s equal in Northeast Ohio. There are so many attractions to see both inside and outside. If you spend 10 minutes you can find free parking on a neighboring street as well (otherwise parking is $20+). If you wake up on a Saturday and the forecast is clear, sunny, and warm during the Spring or early Summer, plan to make a day of it. You can get some fantastic photos of your family here because their outdoors gardens are so extensive. Also, I’ve never seen it crowded.
The Cleveland Botanical Garden is located in the museum area of Cleveland. The most unique feature of this botanical garden is the 2 large green house areas that houses a desert landscape and a rainforest landscape. Unlike most botanical gardens, animals are featured in the areas, so its more of a zoo experience than your typical garden experience. You have to watch your step as you walk through the green house and check yourself for hitchhikers on the way out. The rest of the botanical garden is typical, and unfortunately, pretty boring at the end of Spring where most flowering plants have finished blooming.
Lovely, absolutely lovely. I felt it was well worth the time (several hours) and money ($12 for adults). The two biodomes in and of themselves were worth the price of admission in my opinion. While botanical gardens are mostly for adults who appreciate the beauty, this one is great for children as well. Theyll love the butterflies in the Costa Rica biodome. Check for animal encounter times in Madagascar. A volunteer was out with two chameleons while I was there. And the childrens garden is delightful. I walked through it even though I didnt have children with me.
Cleveland Botanical Garden is a sensory adventure! From the spectrum of fragrances to awe-inspiring colors, there is a lot to enjoy in this experience. The indoor glasshouse boasts two different ecosystems, including butterflies, birds, frogs, insects and tortoises. The outdoor garden is a picturesque walk through different specialty gardens and winding paths. Many photo opportunities! During spring and summer, it would be a completely different experience every couple weeks as different plants come into bloom.
When we visited the indoor portion was closed, however the outside was so amazing that I didnt mind! The kids area is one of the most spectacular places Ive ever taken my two year old son. The lush scenery has many hideaways and paths for kids to discover. A giant handicap accessible treehouse lets you take in the view. Theres a pond sith fish and stepping stones, and little play houses with tables. There is so much for kids to do and to discover! The rest of the outdoor area was just as beautiful and relaxing to walk through and enjoy.I highly recommend visiting.
Visited during the holiday Glow display and had a great time. Volunteers were very friendly and knowledgeable. Spent about three hours and saw everything. A 10 yo had a blast taking pictures and doing a scavenger hunt provided on their map (and he even learned some things too!) Make sure you stay for the butterfly release!
Year-round fun for the entire family. Buy a membership, youll want to go back again and again. The gardens are stunning in summer time and the Costa Rican and Madagascar Rainforests are beautiful indoor retreats when the weather is bad. The Hershey Childrens Garden is a great place for hands-on learning fun for the kiddos. Bring a towel and a change of clothes because they will want to get wet in the splash pad. But dont think theres nothing to see in the winter. Glow - their annual indoor Christmas display of Christmas trees and gingerbread houses is magical. Lots of fun activities for the kids including a train ride. And Orchid Mania around February is a cant miss! They also have all kinds of great evening events. Wine and cooking demos and classes. This is a Cleveland gem - a cant miss.
We attended the orchid event, which is ending soon. But all of the plants were still very beautiful. We really enjoyed the rainforest. Not only does it have interesting plants but there are birds and butterflies throughout. The leaf cutter ants are also amazing to watch from the balcony in the rainforest. I highly recommend this event and will provide another review when we go in the spring/summer.
Even in the winter, the Botanical Garden is a fun destination! I went to the Christmas time event with gingerbread houses and Christmas trees decorated by different local groups. I cant wait to come back during the spring to see the different blooms in the outside gardens.
Loved the botanical gardens. Green houses displaying flora and fauna from different parts of the world is a treat. We recommend visiting the garden during spring all plants shall be in full bloom.A few tips and tricks:Park in Art museum get all day parking.Visit botanical gardens afterwards otherwise we all just end up paying for parking.
Orchidmania is a great trip for any orchid enthusiast and a great way to spend some time getting in touch with nature during the winter months. As my birth month is during when they host orchidmania, I tend to make the pilgrimage to CBG and never regret the sights or smells
Orchids Forever ends on Sunday, April 11th.Founded in 1930 as the Garden Center of Cleveland. The centerpiece of the $50 million 2003 expansion is The Eleanor Armstrong Smith Glasshouse, a 17,000 square foot conservatory home to plant and animal life from two separate biomes, the spiny desert of Madagascar and the cloud forest of Costa Rica.
The Cleveland Botanical Garden was such a pleasant surprise. There were so many unexpected things like live animals and multiple levels of exotic plants and beautiful flowers. We went during GLOW and they had outdoor lights, Christmas decorations from the community, and live music! It is such a fun place for the whole family.
It was pretty cute, we really liked it! It was in a fun part of town and things smelled wonderful in every room. There were a lot of childrens activities and a butterfly room. Its pretty chilly out still so there wasnt much going on with the outdoor gardens. Id probably wait until peak season to check it out, I dont think it would be worth visiting in the winter
Beautiful indoor and outdoor gardens with a climate controlled glasshouse. Visit the heated dessert of Madagascar then walk with the butterflies in Costa Rica. Walk through the waterfalls under the banyan tree. The Glow at the Garden holiday exhibit is magical. Your inner child will love the multi story tree house.
A photographers dream. Fun for adults and children. Lots of great things to look and examine closely. The indoor garden is beautiful and filled with butterflies you can capture with camera and if you hold still they just might land on you. The outside garden is beautiful too. Small playground areas outside for the kids too. We love this place and go at least once a year.
Very wonderful experience! The building was very well maintained and organized so you have much to explore. The staff was very polite. There is a variety of plants indoors with butterflies and birds. The outdoor exhibit is absolutely beautiful with tons of gardens. Definitely recommend going at least once.
The botanical gardens are beautiful but expensive (see pictures). There is also limited parking in that area. If possible, try to get there while its earlier in the day before everyone gets off work. Once you leave, go around the corner to the Cleveland Museum of Art and the duck pond for a walk. Its also a beautiful place for a date, a picnic, or pictures.
What a lovely afternoon. We have been trying to get here for 3 years. This year they were featuring the varieties of Vietnam. The colors were amazing and some had little spikes on the outside edge of the petals. We also saw the Costa Rica exhibit and the Madagascar exhibit. In the Madagascar exhibit we got to... Meet the Animals. We saw two Panther Chameleons. There were tortoises that are endangered and some really tiny birds that were vibrant colors.
A group of us Senior citizens went together by bus. We were paying by cash and had to wait for a clerk to come for us to pay. The Christmas tree exhibits are beautiful. You can also go into the glass house where they have plants and other trees and the purple poinsettias. Also the butterflies. The gift shop and Garden Cafe only takes credit or debit cards as payment. No Cash.
Absolutely gorgeous. Love the butterflies, the plants. The staff there to talk about animals were very knowlegeable and entertaining. Plan for like 2 hours or so. Also this is one of the only places like this Ive been where the cafes food is actually worth it. Facilities nice and clean plus its not that popular so you dont have to fight crowds like at the zoo. Go there if you havent been!
There is only one thing that can be said about the Cleveland Botanical Gardens, Amazing. Such a wonderful oasis in the middle of an urban area. Its a great place to go and be educated or just enjoy nature and heat on a cold Cleveland day. Nature is a great way to feed the soul and the Cleveland Botanical Gardens is a buffet!

2022-02-22I would definitely recommend this place for anyone! It did get pretty hot in the butterfly damp room. But overall was absolutely beautiful! There is an indoor and outdoor portion. The outside was all dead, so we will definitely be coming back in the summer, but inside was amazing!

2022-04-18I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THE GARDENS! I love the interior glasshouses, the Costa Rica and Madagascar. I am so glad the butterfly release is back! I got to have a few butterflies land on me! It was the coolest thing.I have a membership and coming here doesnt get old at all! I got to walk around the outside grounds a bit and while there were a lot of spring blooms, it was still really dead, chilly and brown. I am really really looking forward to coming back in May and June to see all the new green!

2022-05-16Beautiful place to visit around may or June to see the new blooms. There is an outdoor and indoor greenhouse garden. One thing to be careful of is when you go to the Cleveland botanical website, they also sell tickets to another place.

2022-04-04Amazing place to visit when the weather outside isnt ideal. This is a spot on the Museum for All list, giving discount tickets to qualified families. If youre wanting to play with a new camera or lens this is the perfect place.

2022-04-02Cleveland Botanical GardenLovely any time of year.On this cloudy and cold first day of April, 2022 of course we miss the fully flourishing blooms and greenery of the warmer seasons but it is still lovely no matter what. The hellebores were showing off their evergreen blooms of various colors on this chilly April day undaunted by the crisp chill in the air. The daffodils were almost fully bloomed with the hope to remind us of bright yellow sunshine that will be warming all of us more with each passing day. The tulip leaves are firmly making their stand to hold their place for the prelude of summer. Their brightly colorful blooms will be filling the grounds to the left and right of your path through the garden very soon. Brighter days of color will preface the brighter and warmer days of summer!Inside, the butterflies were darting around displaying their vivid colors yet effortlessly eluding the shutter of my camera. Not an impossible task to capture but definitely not one that I was equipped to attain today. The butterflies may have avoided the camera but the vivid blue on the broadest wings I saw today are snapped in my mind’s eye.The kids loved the new hands-on play area outside of the butterfly house. They spent more time there than anywhere else. The books to read were displayed to attract curious little minds. They took their books and curled up in the kid sized (even BIG KID SIZED) honeycomb. There are lots of hands on activities for toddlers to 14yr olds and even (big) kids at heart. We spent about two hours here today and would have stayed longer had our day allowed it.

2022-06-20This was my first time visiting and I absolutely loved it! We got to see the butterfly release and loved getting to see all the different species. The flowers in bloom were absolutely gorgeous ❤️

2022-06-06The botanical gardens are quite beautiful but both inside areas are really small and so the whole place can be walked round in less than 30 minutes. At the time of our visit most of the external space was also sealed off for a wedding so was off limits. Overall I dont think its worth the money and having to pay essentially full price for a 3 year isnt right. Sadly it wont be somewhere Ill revisit the next time Im in Cleveland.

2022-02-22Myself and some friends attended the annual Orchid Show. So beautiful ❤️! So many different types and different colours from white to dark purple to orange and brown. Stunning!
