Total trash. If you want to learn how to bartend at an Applebees in 1997, this is the place for you.If you want to learn how to make cocktails, go to YouTube; theres tons of good cocktail content. If you want to get started with bartending, just get started at a bar and go through the regular steps and stages.Dont waste your money, and more importantly, waste your time here.
Dear Ms. Krynicky. We appreciate your critique of your initial experience at the school. We regret we missed you when we returned a couple minutes after 5, so we did not get to meet you, to explain the situation. We did leave the door open so you would not have to wait in the hall and called to tell you we were on our way back to the school. We were called away unexpectedly to address an urgent matter shortly before our planned meeting. Due to the urgency of the matter, we did not clear the desk prior to rushing out. Though no financial information such as social security numbers or account numbers are on the forms you looked at on the desk. They did contain name, address, phone numbers and email information, we should have taken the time to put them away. You must have missed the signage at each door, noting our location in the building when you entered. We understand we did not impress you with the professionalism we strive to present and are sorry we did not get the opportunity to address your concerns directly.Sincerely,Will CobbinDirector
I had a appointment at 5 to check out their school the guy that does it wasnt even there yet told me he was 10 minutes away they had their door to the school unlocked not one person inside and they had peoples information on papers (address, marital status, name, phone number, address etc) just sitting there for anybody to take and see do not go to this place they have no sign outside for the school very unprofessional
As a recent graduate from CBS I would recommend this program to anyone with an interest in mixology. The class was super fun, well paced, thorough, and very informative. The instructors give you lots of helpful tips and tricks to make learning the material easier and more fun. Flexible scheduling and a reasonable tuition made this my top choice for bartending school and Im so glad I went 😊
I loved my experience at Cleveland Bartending School! Will did a great job of preparing me for a career as a bartender. I feel confident in my ability to remember drink recipes after taking this class. I also learned a ton about proper technique and methods of drink making. The class times are flexible and the workload is very manageable. I would highly recommend this class to anyone thinking about bartending.
The instructors were very knowledgeable of their craft. Very interesting to understand the “why” of how some drinks are made. They emphasize being professional behind the bar and demonstrating proper habits while servicing customers. Plenty of hours and class times available. Would definitely recommend!
Wow! What a great experience. The classes were educational and fun. It was a lot of work but well worth it. The instructors were knowledgeable and the atmosphere was conducive to learning. I will miss going to class but am excited to embark on a career in bartending. I know I have the tools to be successful thanks to the course at Cleveland Bartending School!
I enjoyed completing the program at Cleveland Bartending School. Overall it was fun, interesting and the instructors were very knowledgeable of their craft. I appreciated the emphasis they put on being professional behind the bar and demonstrating proper habits while servicing customers. Will definitely recommend to others.
I can’t say enough good things about Cleveland Bartending School. Will is so helpful and makes class interesting. The communication is always on point- i have called Will when class wasn’t in session and he still answered my calls. You are allowed in after class to practice your new skills and the amount of help Will is giving us is phenomenal. I will be recommending to friends and family. Thank you for everything will and rob!
The teachers are experienced, kind, patient and encouraging! The classroom is just like being at a real bar! It’s the perfect place to learn! I had so much fun, I met so many great people and I feel totally prepared for my new career! Big thank you for the exceptional education, a true investment in my future!
I just completed all my classes with Cleveland Bartending School and I had an overall great experience. The instructors are very knowledgeable and willing to provide tips and tricks to make you a better bartender. The classes are fun, engaging, and you learn a lot of different techniques. Bartending is not something you can learn online or on the fly, so having this hands on experience was very valuable. I highly recommend this school to anyone who has an interest in bartending!
Great experience and a great course! The instructors are very flexible and are willing to accommodate, anyone and everyone. Very professional atmosphere, and of course, it’s very fun learning to make drinks! 10/10 would recommend anyone who is interested in working as a bartender take this course!
I just graduate! They offer very flexible hours so that you can complete the program around work, school etc. The school has the most friendly, welcoming and engaging instructors. They also have a lot of connections and they are the reason I have my current bartending job! You learn so much more than just how to make drinks and its very hands on. You actually get to practice what its like to be a real bartender which is very valuable and this is why I felt so confident going into my new job. 10/10 I would absolutely recommend coming here if you are trying to get your bartending certification. The school and instructors are extremely professional and are also just really fun to be around.
I can’t express enough how thankful I am to have found Cleveland Bartending school. Will, my instructor for the course was a great teacher I couldn’t imagine learning from anyone else! He really helped me understand and remember all of the information they were teaching me. I would definitely recommend this school to anyone looking to broaden their knowledge in bartending.
I absolutely loved this course. The content is broken down for you in a way that is both easy to understand and easy to memorize. The instructors are all really great and are always willing to help you become a better bartender. The scheduling is pretty flexible, and it was really nice to be able to retake classes that I wanted extra help on. Overall Id definitely recommend this course to anyone wanting to get into bartending, and I will miss this course very much. I feel like I am well prepared continuing forward!
Attending Cleveland School of Bartending was the best decision I could have made. Bartending school was very informative, educational and exciting. The instructors were not only amazing and helpful, but they made the atmosphere fun while incorporating learning. I felt that instructors motivated and encouraged students doing their studies and skills training. I also liked the flexibility of the class schedules. I would highly recommend the school to anyone looking to invest in themselves to make extra money while going and or paying for college.
I wanted to wait it out until I completed job placement to write my review.Let me just say, if you already have even a little experience working in the service industry already this is the perfect thing to do to make your resume portfolio more impressive.I got two great jobs at the interview on the spot in one week, which has never happened for me before and Im thankful because I really needed it. My last job was delivery driving, which was nice but totally destroying my cars. The classes are very chill and relaxed, while still highly informative.Students even after completing the program are welcome back to visit and practice, and I definitely plan to when the weather gets nicer to practice making some of the drinks Ive noticed are popular at my new jobs.Really glad I did this, Rob and Will are highly knowledgeable instructors who will make sure you know everything you need to know on the job.Im really glad I decided to dedicate time to doing this program and highly recommend it to those interested :)
It was a great experience. I had no bar experience prior to beginning the class. Completing the course was very convenient as the schedule was very flexible. Also, you can retake a class if you feel like you didn’t retain all of the information. The classroom provides all of the necessary tools and lessons to succeed. After completing the course, I am confident that I am ready to step in and begin working behind the bar anywhere. I would recommend this for anyone.
Will is an excellent instructor with years of knowledge. I took the once a month accelerated class and found that it was much tougher than I expected! High expectations from instructors but by the end of the week it yielded great results. I had bartending experience and I still learned so much I didn’t know. Plan on STUDYING! If you want to be an accredited bartender, just showing up be enough. I am thankful that I left this week a much better bartender than I was when I came in.
I graduated from the Cleveland Bartending School in September and found a great job the next month. The classes were flexible and very informative. Instructors were fun to learn from and offered real world experiences. I highly recommend this school for anyone looking to bartending as a career or extra money.
Having the confidence to bartend professionally and responsibly was my objective when I enrolled for classes. The experienced yet patient CBS instructors have more than laid this foundation in a fun and realistic atmosphere. Will got me enrolled the same day I inquired and Rob can take you to the next level - including flair! Overall a great experience and I highly recommend enrolling if you are interested in the field of Bartending.
I attended this bartending school and although I was skeptical at first with my desire to do so, the pricing, and location I took that chance. The director and his grad teachers were all professionals and even had great sense of humor. With me being out off my comfort zone they made new feel welcomed and comfortable. The material and the book was easy to learn from along with acronyms they taught in class to help you remember the drinks; they were pretty catchy and I still remember them 5 years later. If youre on the fence you wont regret that one time fee because youll instantly make it back your first weekend. I went just to know how to make drinks at home and ended up getting a job at a brand new hotel and bar that had opened up. From weddings, to conventions and so much more take that leap of faith and walk through that door.
I should have gone sooner, this was quite the experience. I gained confidence while making a hobby into a craft. I would recommend this school to anyone looking to start bartending the right way with useful knowledge, clues, tips, and tricks. Full set bar with Friendly Teachers that will help you along the way. Whether it’s a refresher course or your first time, it’ll be the BEST TIME. Flexible Training & Fun Environment.
My Wife and I had a small wedding with a DIY bar. Shauna was really great in helping us preparing the bar. She was really friendly with our guests and everyone loved her. She even match her outfit to our wedding colors. She also made a signature tequila drink which became the drink of the night amongst all our guests. I highly recommend Shauna to anyone who’s looking for a knowledgeable and friendly Bartender.
This was an amazing experience and I am so glad I chose to do this. I had absolutely no bar experience before this class and now I am extremely confident with my new skills. The instructors were awesome and the classes were taught at a good pace. It never got boring and we learned so much! This is a place I will be recommending to friends who are looking for a fun change in their career
I attended Cleveland Bartending School in late 2014 and highly recommend it to those that are interested. The course, teachers, and fellow students made the experience very enjoyable. Be sure to take advantage of any specials or discounts that they offer especially during the holiday season!I will be moving to downtown Cleveland within the next few months and will be taking advantage of the Online Job Placement portal that Cleveland Bartending School offers you upon graduation!Thanks!--Carmen
An excellent place to learn to make drinks. Whether you are a beginner or you want to take the knowledge you have to the next level. The staff is very good at what they do breaking things down to make things easier to grasp. Will is the man Id like to thank him personally for taking the time to work with me exemplary job, and Im not just saying that because its a Saturday.
The Cleveland bartending school has given me the tools needed to succeed. Both instructors are extremely knowledgeable and make the experience a lot of fun. If youre a hands on learner, enjoy working with new people, and are looking for a reasonably priced certification this is the way to go!
I attended the CBS in early 2019 at their new location and it’s coming along well! I shared a unique set of training which taught me not only the flavors and proper measurements for traditional and current trending drinks but also the history behind different alcohols and how these breweries and distillery first started and how they create their craftsmanship! The instructors and instruction was based on a teach back method so you may share your experiences after each class with a working bar experience! Thank you for this experience and I definitely believe this will make a better impact on anyone wishing to learn this craft!
Very helpful instructors! Class very flexible with an unset schedule, I recommend this class course for anyone trying to step their foot in the door to become a bartender, it’s better to actually learn things the professional way and you end up knowing more about bartending than experienced bartenders thats been doing it for years that never attended school/class course. Will, rob, and deedee (instructors) were patient with everyone. Thanks again!!
I just graduated after about two weeks of classes. This school exceeded all of my expectations. One thing that surprised me was the quality of the simulated bar. You get real practical experience being behind a bar, setting it up and maintaining it, and mixing drinks with their fully stocked selection of different liquor bottles (filled with water and dye). Also they have quite a few expensive Exacto pour boxes that youll get to use to master pouring different ounces of liquid. You learn everything you need.
This school is absolutely amazing and the teachers are so helpful and encouraging! I could not think of a better place to learn how to bartend with such a flexible schedule. The positive atmosphere made me so excited to go to school and learn! If you are thinking about it, do it!!
What an amazing experience! I was able to take evening classes which worked out great with my work schedule. The instructors were all knowledgeable and I had a lot of fun during the classes. I learned a lot more than I could have ever learned online. I feel prepared to get a job in this field now!
Flexible class times allowed me to finish the course in a few weeks while still working full time. I not only learned the proper way to mix and serve over a hundred drinks, but had a lot of fun and met some great people! I would definitely recommend this class for anyone looking to gain some confidence before beginning a career in bartending.
Completed the course just last week. If youre looking to dip your feet into the bartending business, this is a good place to start. I searched up the place at the recommendation of a couple local places when asking where someone with no experience should get started, and I can see why. Theres a lot to learn, but youll be taught a few tips and tricks for how to remember it all. Youll learn all kinds of recipes and techniques, and hands-on experience behind the counter. The place is set up like a real bar, and youll spend plenty of time practicing making drinks just like you would at one. While I personally took the one-week course, I know that they do offer a great deal of flexibility. If youre unavailable for a class or miss a course, you can come back on another day where theyre offering the lesson that you missed. Whether youre in school or working, you wont have to worry about whether or not youll get the information you need-- Itll be there when youre ready for it. So if scheduling is something youre concerned with, dont be.The offer was even extended to us that if we wanted, we could come back and continue practicing any time while we searched for job openings. How often do you hear of a school with an open-door policy after you graduate? If youre on the fence about enrolling for the classes, my best advice for you would be to go for it. Youll get valuable hands-on training and knowledge that will better prepare you for any potential job openings you might find, and youll walk away as a certified Mixologist.
The instructors here are so friendly and willing to help you become a better bartender. The class room is fun and the hands on experience really makes this a great learning tool. I highly recommend anyone interested in becoming a bartender, honing their skills, or learning a thing or two to take this course!
Will is a great teacher, and provides you with all of the resources needed to learn quickly. The relatively small amount of total class time will leave you feeling confident in your ability to operate professionally behind the bar, even without prior experience. Also, the class schedule is very flexible, allowing you to go at your own pace and work around any time conflicts. Best of all, you will easily find a job after completing the course.
As an older person, I was concerned about learning something new and if I could keep pace with younger students. Will was great. He worked with my flexible schedule and was incredibly patient when I made mistakes. I really learned a lot and am excited about a future in bartending.
The instructors provided very thorough hands-on training and assured we were all learning what they were teaching us. This school brings out the best in your abilities both as a bartender and as a representative of the customer service industry on a whole. Ill be recommending this school to anyone i know with aspirations to be a bartender. Thank You, CBS.
This was a fun and very effective course (40 hour mixology)! I came in knowing almost nothing, but with Erika’s instruction, everything came fairly easily. Even though there is a ton of material to learn, the excellent teaching makes it possible. CBS is a student-centered place and individual needs are met with respect, excellent teaching and great environment to learn in. Would absolutely recommend!
I greatly enjoyed my experience at the Cleveland Bartending School. In addition to learning how to make a variety of drinks, it is connected to a nationwide network of bartending schools and they can assist with finding a job after completing the course. This was a good option for me, as breaking into bartending can be competitive!
Great school! The instructors are not only experienced and knowledgeable, but also personable and extremely helpful. They all make it so easy to remember various recipes. The bonus is that its an affordable program that wont take up too much of your time (40 hours in two weeks, on average). Id recommend this place to any and everyone.
The Cleveland Bartending School is a great investment. All the staff is very helpful and knowledgeable and I am very glad that attended the school. The 40 hour program is challenging yet, rewarding. If you are serious about being a good bartender you will come out on the other end very prepared and ready to hire.
I had the pleasure of getting to work with Shauna Oreh. She bartended for our backyard September 2020 wedding celebration, and she exceeded my highest expectations! She was consistently prompt to respond, was professional in all of her communications, was organized and accommodating, went above and beyond (she offered to bring pre-chopped fruits, to save on set up time), made thoughtful substitutions at the event when we ran low or ran out of certain things, and was all-around a joy to work with! I cant recommend her enough! Thank you so much Shauna and the Cleveland Bartending School for matching her with me!
This place is a great place to get your mixology certificate if your planning to be a bartender. Will is such a great instructor and I have had so much fun doing this. Thank you for working with my insane baseball schedule. This has been the best thing I ever decided to do. Totally worth the money!
This is so worth it! You learn all the drinks necessary to become a bartender the instructor will work with your schedule and in No time you will be ready for the world of bartending! I definitely recommend this school to anyone who takes an interest or wants to become a bartender!!
Just finished my basic bartending course and had a blast doing it. I started with no experience whatsoever, and have learned all the basic drinks and tips/tricks to remember and create them! Will is great and I’m very happy to have had him as an instructor. He also holds an advanced mixology class! Thanks for giving me the wings to fly 😎
The bartending schools teachers, most of which have over 15 years experience as a bartender and multiple years of bartending teaching experience, do an excellent job of taking a large amount of information and condensing it into easy to master segments. Completed the course in a week with job interviews (multiple) this coming week.If youre on the fence about signing up for this class, I strongly recommend that you do it! For what you pay, it is absolutely worth it. Quick, fun, and a great way to make some extra cash on the side or even make a living.
As a person who enjoys a fast pace work environment, I thought bartending would be a wise career choice. With very little alcohol experience, on top of never actually pouring a drink before, I needed to find somewhere that I could learn the art, and have solid flexibility. Cleveland Bartending School caught my eye. Not only could I drive to the school, but the reviews were great. So, without hesitation, I signed up.And what a wise decision that was. I was able to learn how to not only be behind a bar, and make great drinks in a short amount of time, but I was taught by an expert. An expert who happens to be a great guy, and an amazing instructor: Will Cobbin. The course that Will instructed has taught me, and many others to not only be a good, hard worker, but taught us to be professional, best-at-our-job, bartenders. Will’s passion for his art is obvious, and I am honored to have been able to take the course and learn from him.
Very nice facilities, classes take place in an actual bar setting & teaching is very hands on. The teachers are Excellent, teach in a way that is easy to remember. Flexible schedules & availability beyond that, by appointment. Overall, an excellent experience & knowledge I could take with me anywhere.
Had a great experience at the Cleveland Bartending School. Will, Robby, and Shauna are all experienced bartenders with lots of knowledge and technique to share. They have a full bar to practice over 100 drinks, anywhere from 2oz cocktails to cream drinks. They didnt have a keg for my beer and wine class because they were renovating and organizing their new location, which is completely understandable. One of the instructors helped me get a job at a new BurgernBar place in Mentor. I am the least experienced of the new bartending crew and Im working part time afternoon shift, but I got my foot in the door and have the foundation to have an awesome bartending career, which is exactly what I was looking for. Thanks guys! Definitely check this place out.
This school is extremely helpful for anyone who is trying to learn all the skills needed to be a GREAT bartender! Q and Ryan were excellent teachers! They made it easy to learn without feeling overwhelmed with all the different drink recipes. I feel comfortable walking out of here with all the knowledge I need to succeed. Thanks again.
Do not regret going to this school, Would recommend. The flexibility in schedule is amazing. The teachers have a lot of knowledge and make it as easy as they can to teach you the drinks you need to know. finally, to pass the class, you need to take 3 tests that are challenging so you know that you know your stuff once you graduate.
I highly recommended this school to anyone that’s interested in getting into bartending. The entire staff are all great teachers and they really make sure that you’re prepared for working in any bar setting. They focus on teaching the fundamentals of quality bartending, and they do it in a way that makes it fun. Definitely worth the money and the time!
Although bartending school isn’t necessary to become a bartender, it helps you feel more confident knowing you can make a wide variety of drinks. You get to experience pouring behind a full bar, and the instructors are actual bartenders so they have a lot of good tips from the real world.
I really love how patient they were with me. The class can be taken in 2 weeks, and it took me 2 months to finish. I had a lot of other things going on and will was patient with me the entire time, encouraging me not to give up and helpful. The class is very knowledgeable, fun, and completely worth the money. I would recommend it to anybody.
Attending this school was one of the best decisions Ive made. I know it sounds cliche because its on google reviews but honestly, I loved going here. Even though I had been bartending for a year already I learned a ton in this class that I wouldnt have been able to learn just being at the bar for a year. I even requested a Baybreeze at a well known/fancy bar today and I had to tell the bartender what it was that I was asking for. It felt great, and I felt more ready for the popular bar scene than ever. The instructors for the class were amazing and it felt like I wasnt even in school. Take this class; you wont regret it!
I took this course with very little bartending experience hoping to gain more knowledge on how to make drinks. This school helped me do just that and more. I was able to confidently make a drink through a hint or clue they allow you to memorize and the hands on experience definitely helps with muscle memory. It was a great idea to take this course before moving to a large city & I would recommend it to a friend! Cheers
I graduated in April and I have more than quadrupled my investment in myself in less than 2 months. I went with over 10yrs of bartending experience and what I learned from Will and Rob was that i didnt know anything in fact i had been doing everything wrong from Cleveland to Atlanta..lol I could make drinks but the knowledge of what im actually doing elevated the taste of ALL my drinks. This course is absolutely worth every penny and the knowledge youll get from them is priceless....and the jobs Ive gotten are license mandatory. Proud bartender for the Cleveland Indians. Thanks guys
My experience was wonderful! The teachers helped me out a lot when I couldnt make it for awhile. They stuck with me to the end! I would definitely say go to this school if you want to really learn the business! Ask questions and you get the exact answer. Glad I choose to come here! I finished today! And am beyond happy!! Definitely 5 stars for the teachers, they will go above and beyond to help you finish!
I went to this school in 1998 and was able to find employment right away. This job gave me the opportunity to eventually become an IT professional with a major in computer science , and a minor in applied mathematics. I recently started bar tending again as a part time job because I missed it!! I still had my reference cards from years ago, and messaged the school about a reference to the initials B.O.I.. Will called me back the next day just to tell me what that stood for!About the class:The class was taught in such a way for you to remember 100 or so drinks, in a way for your mind to react instead of having to build a process in your mind in how to create the drink. You are taught presentation, and how to move around the bar area.Even after college, and having a cushy job, i thoroughly enjoy bartending.I recommend this class to anyone who wants to be outgoing, creative, and responsible in the bar scene. Thanks Cleveland Bar Tending School!
The Cleveland Bartending School is pretty easy to recommend for those who want to find help transitioning to this job. Its quite inexpensive for a 40+ hour series of courses and when you finish it you have certifications that mean something to industry professionals. Be wary though, its not a rubber stamping ceremony over there. Bartending isnt overly difficult, but the courses will have you memorizing a large number of cocktail recipes (step-by-step in easy to understand ways) and you will be tested on your speed, ability to free pour with accuracy, and knowledge of the bar and beverages. Dont be too deterred. You can take the classes at your own pace and the three instructors I had for various courses were very kind and helpful all the time. The only downside (apart from the small commitment of money and time to the school) is that there are some in the industry that dont seem to respect the degree very much. Some bars and restaurants will give you a chance, others will still ask you to work your way up from being a bus boy or a waiter for six months or a year. One manager even told me that doing very well in bartending school was a fun bonus. And a bartender at a local bar told me going to bartending school was, the worst thing I could do, but he was unable to explain why and after a few quick questions it became clear that I knew how to make ten times as many drinks that he did.Bartending should be fun, and the school certainly was, even when challenging. I met a lot of great people. This isnt Le Cordon Bleu of the mixology world. Its skill acquisition and job assistance in a reasonably priced, well-paced package.
This class was an entirely new experience for me! The hands on training is the best part of it all, aside from the wonderful teachers Milton and Ryan, of course. I am completely blessed to have had this chance to create relationships with my teachers and peers and now I can bring my knowledge to my work and help others become better bartenders. I cant thank my teachers enough for giving their time each day to help us perfect drinks and bring our creative sides out, while entertaining us.Everyone interested in becoming a mixologist should definitely stop by and check it out, I drove everyday over an hour and I am glad I did.Thank you again Milton and Ryan and everyone that helped me become a professional mixologist (I can finally use that title!! YAY!🤗)
I am one of the instructors for the Cleveland Bartending School. I am also a graduate of the school. The school is fun and teaches you so much. This past Sunday we had a really cool flair class taught by Robbie flair(Rob Turek). He taught us some really cool tricks and the class was totally worth it!
Great information and great behind the bar experience in a true bar environment. Definitely worth the money. I feel ready to work in most any bar. Id recommend the school to anyone looking to be better at making great drinks at casual get togethers, all the way to those eager to be mixologists at high end bars.
Best school I have been to, staff is great they answer any questions you need to know job placement is on point I learned so much from this school I was bartender before I went to this school omg the information I received put me on another level of bar tending being a male in the industry sometimes hurt but with this school and all the knowledge this put you on a even playing field and trust me when I get to work I show out where even the guys want me as their server
Awesome school and experience! They train you for success in the serving industry. The instructors are what makes the school what it is. I would suggest it to anyone whos looking for a new career or just a part time job or even just to have fun while working this is the place to do it!
I have started out with knowing nothing about liquor , into being an export. Attending this school help me realize that i can do anything i put my mind into. My instructor , Erika, has helped and pushed me through my struggles. I knew i dint wanna give up and she knew that. She has motivated me and never made me feel discourage. I thank everybody there for giving me a opportunity of my life. ❤️😄✌🏾✨
After college (2003) and before landing my full time career, I attended the CBS. Under the instruction of Robbie Flair I was taught not only how to mix cocktails, but how to add personality, and information about each of the spirits I was pouring to the drink. For years, I continued to bartend and wouldnt have known the first thing about creatively conceptualizing a beverage (outside of looking in a recipe book) without having attended this school
For someone in their late twenties that want to jump into bartending with no prior experience, this school is the answer. Its a great introduction to everything from martinis to beer and wine. The instructors had a lot of energy and love for what they do. Not to mention years of experience in every facet of bartending. Five stars.
Well worth your time and money! If you are looking to gain professional experience in an authentic setting this is the right place. Instructors were all great learned a lot, and I already had 9 months of eperince. No brainier to sign up if you want to become a professional mixologist.
I would like to give less than one star but I guess one is the minimum. I hired a bartender to serve guests at my wedding this month from the bartending school and am wholly dissatisfied. For starters, it was very difficult to even get the contract from them, they are very much more concerned with recruiting students than helping them get gigs, and once I got the contract and sent it back ‘signed’ (it was email, so my signature was my email accepting the contract) I never got confirmation from the school that it was received and my bartender was scheduled. Then, the day of the wedding, not only does my bartender not show up, she called me, the bride, during my ceremony, not sure why she called either, she left no message, so I don’t know maybe she had an emergency, got lost, abducted by martians, it’s anyone’s guess. I’m gonna go with abducted because I tried calling her back when I got to the reception from the church and she didn’t answer my many calls. So needless to say, a few of my friends who have been bartenders before stepped in to serve my guests. And it has now been a week and a half since my wedding and no one at the school has reached out to me to offer any kind of apology or explanation as to why they failed in providing me with a bartender for my wedding reception. I will never again try to hire a bartender through them. Save yourself the drama and just hire a real bartender. It’ll cost more money but you’ll get peace of mind that they will actually be at your event to run your bar.
This was an excellent course. I came to the school with some bartending experience, but it had been a while since I had bartended in a professional context. The class covered everything: drinks, bar set up, protocols, education about liquors, liquers, beers, etc. This was worth the time and money.
They were very helpful, patient, and made sure we knew everything from Backgrounds on certain alcohols and to word clues to help remember certain recipes. Im glad I came here before I tried to get a real bartending job so I would have some experience first! Thank you for everything!!

2022-09-13I was very new to this program I didnt even know any of the alcohol when I started. I am not of age to drink but even not being of age I had an amazing experience at this school. I learned so much from the instructors and they were very flexible and helpful through my entire experience. I would definitely recommend if you are interested in this career this is an amazing place to learn. :)

2022-07-29I had an amazing experience here. I took the one week course and went from knowing nothing about bartending to being able to make a variety of drinks. The hands-on process is super helpful and prepares you for how to properly handle yourself behind the bar.

2022-05-15@MartinKrebs. I had years of bar experience when I decided to invest in becoming more professional as a bartender! Like any Profession you need to study to advance. I now have my own craft cocktail business, thanks to the lessons learned about the science of cocktails at this school. Did you actually attend this school? From the reviews of so many who did I see a great discrepancy in your review.

2022-08-19I went to this school for 2 weeks and graduated as soon as I could. Loved my entire experience and I would recommend this to anybody who wants to bartend. The teachers are great at what they do, and very entertaining to listen to and it was a pleasure getting to learn from them. Listen carefully to Will, he’s a badass and you’ll learn a lot.

2022-08-30I contracted 2 weeks ago with Clevelamd Bartneding School to provide 3 bartenders for a wedding celebration in my yard. We had 150 people attend the afternoon event. The process of contracting was extremely easy and the bartenders did a great job. We plan the bar menu and needed supplies in advance. Nuria was the lead bartender and very professional. My guests were very pleased with the presentation and the service. Everyone had a great time!

2022-09-11Really enjoyed this class! Learned a lot and gained confidence knowing I was able to do the job right away. Flexible class scheduling that allowed it to work with my life. I did the 5 all-day Saturday classes and “Willster” made it fun. Thanks again!
