The time I spent here was the absolute lowest point of my life. You could hire a professional cleaning company after you move out and the owners will still find a way to charge you for anything and everything. You have a better chance at wining the lottery than getting your deposit back. The laundry here is disgusting and the absolute lowest of the low live here….it’s a real shame. Glad I have moved on to better things. They need new management desperately, but miracles are hard to come by these days…

Nice quiet apartments. I was only there a few months for work but my family enjoyed living here. The only reason I didnt give 5 stars is due to the fact that I wasnt informed up front that $150 of my security deposit would be forfeited due to a contract they have with a cleaning company to shampoo the carpets. Our apartment only had carpet upstairs, and with little ones we were rarely on the carpeted area. I have photos of it looking close to brand new when we moved. Other than that the views of the sunsets/sunrises are beautiful. They have a deer family behind the apartments so we were able to watch them from our window, and we even had a skunk visitor in the back storage room. Neighbors were very friendly and keep to themselves. Once the playground is updated, it would be a perfect family spot. If central air is important to you be sure to ask for an apartment with one. Our apartment was updated with central air right before moving in, I noticed other apartment had window units.

After recently moving out from renting the place for work they kept half my deposit! There is a normal thing called wear and tear on an apartment. Im a pipeliner and was only there to sleep and shower. They charged me for shampooing the carpet and vacuuming, drip pans. The stove which was rarely used in the 2 months I was there. I would be cautious when renting from this company. But luckily I did take pictures of the apartment before & after I left. Like I have time to squabble in court! Unbelievable

Pathetic management.. they will do literally anything to save a dollar.. they were begging me to stay even offered a lower rent, I wouldnt pay 100 a month for that garbage let alone 650

I spent almost 3 agonizing years here. Jake & Gene (the owners) will cheat you out of every penny they can. Do not trust them. They are not honest people. My apartment was left in great condition, yet they billed me over $4,000 for damages. Mine was the only apt. left not renovated and that paid for the upgrade. Very unscrupulous people. I do not ever recommend Clearview Townhomes in Cadiz, Ohio. Just dont rent off of them. They are unprofessional and do not communicate clearly with renters. They also make it to where you do not get your deposit back no matter how clean you leave the place or thorough you are. Just sharing my experience. Their excuses ranges from bringing in expensive contractors, ordering custom items, etc.Edit: Any damages caused by the fancy contractors that they bring in (in my case, the contractors made holes in the wall and then charged me for paint and holes that I did NOT do myself), they will charge YOU for it. Additionally, they are great at making things up and charging you for small things like light bulbs, stove foliage, etc. When they call to discuss your charges or false claims, they have a great way of disregarding anything logical and are incredibly rude. On the day I moved in, the manager was nowhere to be found and we had to get ahold of corporate. We sat there with our rental truck for 2-3 hours.

I strongly urge everyone to heed the negative Reviews here. Owners/Management are unscrupulous. Nothing but Pipeliners & Construction workers ... booze and drugs. These are over-priced, very small, 2-bedroom apts. that cost a fortune for Heat/AC, cheapest carpeting ... cheap everything. Wi-Fi Hot-Spot doesnt work. Internet Service here are horrible. The Security Cameras didnt work when Police investigated a crime. Any Deposits will not be returned ... regardless. Actually READ your Lease ... youll be surprised. I truly cant imagine the few that have liked this place, they must be bogus Reviews.

Friendly ppl, I prefer peace and quiet and that’s just what I got. Management responded quickly to the very minor issues that came up a couple of times. Great place if you prefer peaceful quiet living.

Was thinking of renting here but saw the owners unprofessional responses to the negative reviews and it stopped me from applying . I can tell from his responses renting from them will probably be a problem later down the line .
