I’ve lived in two locations with CKC and found them to be incredibly helpful - responds to emails and calls within the same day with very through responses. The staff is super kind and helpful and wants what’s best for the students. Sends emails throughout the year to keep us updated on utilities and move in/out info. Houses/apts have been in perfect condition when moving in.

My daughter attended Miami and lived in the dorms for the required 2 years. She was one of the first to commit to Gaslight while it was still being constructed. Everything was completed prior to her move in date. From the owners, to Della, to the maintenance people- her experience at Gaslight was great and was exactly what she needed and wanted. The rooftop get togethers, the beautiful landscaping and the proximity to campus, dining and other nearby services- it was a rewarding experience and a great value for a dad many miles away.

Its always a pleasure dealing with Della and CKC. I have sent 3 kids to Miami and have used Multi Rental Companies. Della and her team are by far the best to work with and very accommodating. They handle each matter one by one and are always flexible and take great care of our young adults!

My daughter rented a 4 Bedroom Apt (3 roommates) from CKC RENTALS in 2019/20, I found all of the dealings with Della Rumpler/Manager and the Maintenance Staff lead by John Corcoran to be exceptional, knowledgeable, responsive and very professional!The Apartment, Building and Grounds are beautiful, roomy and well maintained. As a Land Lord we found all at CJC Rentals to be very responsive and easy to deal with!If you are looking for a Safe, Well Maintained, Clean, Tenant Focused and Conveniently located Apartment and Management Co in Oxford Oh, look no further than CKC RENTALS !My daughter had a Terrific Experience!!!Thank You CKC Rentals!

I rented an apartment my junior year and a house my senior year. 2 years, no issues. Management was surprisingly organized and polite. Considering some of my friends’ experiences renting in Oxford (not good), CKC seemed like the best bang for your buck.

I lived in a CKC property for 2 years, to be honest my apartment is pretty nice, but dont let that decieve you! They will try and screw you at every turn it seems, likely not out of malaice but incompetence and disorganization. The bills come randomly, whenever they feel like sending them out I assume. I was locked out of my apartment once and the woman on the emergency line for CKC took so long to inform maintenance that someone called the police on me, she proceeded to laugh when I informed her the police arrived and were questioning me. Over break what I assume to be maintenance people decided to enter my apartment and smoke cigarettes which I found in the sink (never mind the obvious smell) AND someone had unplugged all the fire alarms! Now they are saying I didnt pay a bill from months ago. Bringing me to my last point, NEVER PAY THEM IN CASH! They will lose it and tell you its your fault months later. Im very unhappy with my experiences with CKC and wouldnt suggest anyone rent with them unless you are prepared to deal with this nonsense!One more thing, they give you no more than a couple hours heads up that someone is going to enter your apartment.

While I personally do not live in a CKC property, I am a manager in student housing and while visiting a friend who lives in an apartment owned by them, I have been disappointed again and again by the quality of the apartments as well as the individuals who manage the property. Wood floors, nice counters and cabinets, but you can count on every faucet in your apartment to leak at the base of the faucet and all around your counter. Even when calling maintenance, the same problems arise again and again. While staying with a friend and being locked out during the summer, we were instructed to ring an occupied apartment until they let us in (as directed by management!) which resulted in the police showing up and us being questioned, and later laughed at by management when she finally sent someone to open the door. From multiple people it has been clear that staff does not know what they are doing... they do not properly notify residents when entering units, or keep track of bills. These are serious mess-ups considering student housing, as well as illegal. They must give 24-48 hours notice to entering apartments, and can not make you pay late fees for bills they sent late. Lets also add on top of this, in the 21st century of banking, they do not allow any online payments. They only allow cash and checks, which they will repeatedly lose. I wonder how much money theyve actually lost. Before my senior year I really considered leasing an apartment to be closer to friends, but after seeing how they were treated, I couldnt image living anywhere worse. There are many, many student housing options in Oxford, so dont pick one that already went bankrupt once with Level 27. Choose anything but CKC Rentals.

I lived 3 years at a CKC property while attending Miami. Della and the entire staff we just awesome! Very attentive and treated me with the upmost respect. I always felt safe and truly never had any issues.DMC class of 2014

They were good landlords for my daughters senior year at Miami. They were responsive throughout the year and returned her deposit. Much better than Park Place from her junior year.

Ive leased from CKC Rentals for the past two years and couldnt be happier I did. They are always quick to respond, helpful, and take great care of their buildings!
