For a small theater it is really nice. The staff is very pleasant. We prefer this small theater over the big theaters because we have children. It is very practical for families and children. The prices aren’t bad but the concession stand is pricey-but aren’t all theaters? Lol If you purchase a ticket during the day Mon-Thurs there are some discounts you can receive if you are a college student. Which is amazing! Overall, I recommend this family friendly theater.
The prices are decent, but the building and atmosphere is nothing to write home about. This theater is in the middle of a mall, which isnt a bad thing. However, this mall has seen its better days. Much of it is empty and not kept up very well. The theater doesnt seem to do much better. You will still see a movie and get the theater experience, I just dont like the place its in and the cleanliness of it all.
Thanks to a Christmas gift card given to my girlfriend, from my brother, as well as the lower prices for early matane, $4.50 per person for 3 people, it was a great bargain. I was very concerned about the seats, because of my girlfriends fibromyalgia & my back issues, but to my surprise, they were very comfortable. The parking-lot needs redoing, too many potholes, but overall, this place has my vote. I recommend this to all friends & family! 👍
If you are a consistent goer, you will note that the 1 and 2 stars are single experiences/exceptions. Not bad at all for small town. Cant complain about the prices: it includes first-run and 3-d. Selection is pretty good if not huge. Expensive snacks (to make up for the tix and you dont have to buy them if you dont want to). Fairly clean, generally comfortable.
We just finished watching Captain Marvel and it was fabulous. Weve been here several times and everyone is always friendly and helpful. I am hard of hearing and need to use the closed captioning devices but the staff is always helpful and never even bat an eye when I ask. And dont forget that the prices are reasonable and the popcorn is awesome!
Always have a good time here! Concessions are a little ridiculously priced but its what you get for a movies. I always go for the matanay shows because the tickets are super cheap and the movies are always the big ones in all the expensive theatres so its quite nice in that regard. I can take my whole family and not pay an arm and a leg
We absolutely love this theater. We take our family if 5 out to see movies all the time now (since we moved to Alliance) and we can actually afford it here. In fact...most of the time we let them each choose a friend to bring. Its not the fanciest but honestly, were not there to critique their decor. The staff is always friendly and the bathrooms are usually pretty clean. Id take this theater over the high priced ones any day of the week! :)
For a first-run movie🎬 experience, you really cant beat the extremely affordable Cinemark Carnation💐 5 Cinema prices. For only $3.75 per each matinee ticket🎫 ($7.50 total🎟), my mom and I recently saw the new version of A Star Is Born🌟 and had a great time.Granted, the cinema🎦 itself isnt exactly posh and cutting edge; the theatres dont have stadium seating💺, the screens are on the smaller side*, and Im pretty sure that the building itself hasnt been recently renovated🏗 (at least not much if so); but the whole cinema (including the bathrooms🚻 and concession🍿 stand area) seemed pretty clean, decently kept, and in good enough condition. So as long as you dont have unnecessarily high-end and upscale tastes in mind, this cinema provides a perfectly fine and enjoyable moving watching experience in a physically adequate and functional space - and all for a significantly low⬇️ price💲! 👍*the screens may be smallish, but hey, sometimes a small theater can even be preferred for various reasons (such as providing a quieter🔉 and less crowded👥 setting, which actually somewhat enhanced📈 the type of movie that I just saw here).
The theater is ok. The only good thing about it are the prices. Cheaper than many other theaters. Also, fair warning, the road around the back of the mall to get to the theater is equal to death itself. It is the most treacherous paved road you will ever encounter. There are potholes the size of bathtubs in some places.
Tickets for two before noon were 8 dollars, however, one drink and a small popcorn and a nacho was 16 dollars...... Everyone knows movie theater food is a way to pricey. My son and I seen Ralph breaks the internet and it was a great movie. There were only about 12 people total in the movie. So if you go early enough in the day you get your choice of seating. Seats are a little outdated and uncomfortable. Yet the theater itself was fairly clean.
Its a small thearter ,but its one of my favs . They have very very good popcorn . And if you go before 6pm i belive it is only 4.50 for brand new movies wich cant be beat . The only down side is the actual theaters are rather small and have slightly weird seating arrangments. But other wise it is definitly a nice place to go to . And is never very crowded at all
I have watched movies here since I was a kid .I have never said anything bad about it. Took our three year old there to see a movie. The floor and seats were dirty. It smells like pee. Maybe its just because its where the kids watch movies. But it really needs cleaned.
Very Inexpensive for new movies $20 for 2 tickets to any movie and a large popcorn and that is the max price tickets are cheaper if you go on different days you get lower prices you cant beat that especially as a young person when need to go out on a date or with friends as everything there is more than serviceable and also they still have the extra butter dispenser which a lot of theaters have taken out so they get 5 stars because they do everything they need to do up to or above the level they need to do it and for a great price if it wasnt for the price they would just be an average movie theater that is really small which isnt a problem in todays world as you only go to a theater when they have the movie you want and you always check before hand but since the prices are low as they are it is exceptional
I love the prices and they are showing current movies which is really nice this is my theater of choice purely because of its price point and they show current movies just like Tinseltown and everybody else but it half the price but unfortunately also when you take into consideration the price bracket youre also not in that great of a theater when I went to see a movie this spring there was a leak in the roof which you could hear throughout the entire movie which isnt necessarily Cinemarks fault the fault lays on the Carnation Mall for not actually putting a new roof on like they definitely need to do but at least the staff here is friendly and the prices are good
Not the fanciest of theaters but you cant beat the price and the staff is superb. I brought my 3 kids to see Star Wars and had sat them down at our seats so i could go to the consesion stands for popcorn and sodas. I couldnt carry all of the food back so they offered to bring it to my seats for me. To me that is going above and beyond my expectations. It is a great location for a quick inexpensive family night out. It is in the mall right next door to Napolis pizza (great NY style thin crust pizza and more)and theres an arcade right there too that my kids love. I highly recommend carnation cinemas....
I love going to the Cinemark Carnation Mall Cinema 5 because its inexpensive, nice staff, amazing prices, and they always do a very good job at cleaning up. Which we should clean up after ourselves so, the staff shouldnt or we can be careful with our popcorn and drinks.
This place will sell tickets to rated r movie to tends under 17 , then when they try to go to the movie, with an adult ( not the parent of all children) they wont let them in. Ok thats fine, but then they refuse to refund or exchange tickets for another movie, this is BS. If your not going to let them in the theater then CHECK ID BEFORE YOU SELL YOU TICKETS you rip off thieves, taking money that these girls worked for and not refunding or exchanging shame on you and your way of business.

2022-04-25Went to the matinee and watched Fantastic Beast 3. Got a large popcorn and 2 large drinks. There was already popcorn on the theater floor. Didnt understand that as we were there as the theater opened. But the tickets were not badly priced.

2019-08-18Clean theater, nice staff, popcorn great, ticket prices good...but the movie didnt start on time. After the advertising and previews (which is fine) we had to sit through a kinda short cartoon film/paid advertising about how to do African American hair. So movie started 22 minutes later. I guess this is normal. We thought we were in the wrong theater. They should definitely start the paid advertising before the scheduled movie time.

2022-05-29Hard to not give the cheapest movie theater in the area, with multiple theaters a good rating. Shane its in such a run down and empty mall.
