This is the best workout facility I have ever been a member of! I enjoy going to the gym and actually look forward to my time there! The facility is clean and well maintained. Every member of the staff is friendly and helpful! Instead of counting down the time until my work out is finished while I am there , I look forward to my next visit!
Pretty disappointed by our experience. The lifeguards are immature and don’t want to work. Instead they want to socialize with their friends. The club manager will avoid a call with you. The atmosphere is aggressive and condescending. I would find a better club- way too many in the area to deal with this nonsense.
This place is just awful pay attention to the small print. You have to sell your soul in order to leave. Lol they will even bill you for the membership cards that have your picture on them if not returned. Seriously. Luckily they waved the sign up fee for our family, so that saved us 700 bucks. Still not worth it. Even the kids didnt like it, and the ymca is much better suited for the little ones.
If you have kids, stay far away. Ive been a member for three weeks. There was an child endangerment incident with the child care and my 1.5yr old. Not only did we not receive an apology, the staff attempted to blame a 4 yr old, and theyre refusing to refund our money. Im incredibly disappointed that I am forced to file a lawsuit just to get a reasonable outcome.
The club is call basically a dictatorship. Whatever they say is final and there are no exceptions to any and all rules. They also promote public shaming of people who don’t want to get vaccinated. If you take the time to fill out their surveys and report unfair treatment, no one will reach out to you about actions to accommodate any requests or just to apologize. They have two TVs in the gym that constantly play CNN and Fox News. If you ask for them to turn off the rhetoric television, they will tell you that they can’t and it has to stay on. They also nickel and dime members with hidden childcare fees as well as parking fines used as incremental revenue for the club. I’ve been a member for four months now and incredibly regret the decision based off our short experience.
The club is very forthcoming in sharing updates on protocols related to Covid-19 helping all members feel safe and be knowledgeable about what to do and what to refrain from. Policies and procedure are visibly implemented and followed. Its a wonderful place to exercise and stay fit and have positive social interactions. Love the club!
I dont like having to sign in every single time I come with my friend who walks with a walker and only goes to swim. It is hard enough not walking with him into the building because I drop him off and then park my car. But then you require me to sign in and fill out the waiver sheet every single time and copy my drivers license. You already have my information. I need to be with my friend at all times because of the risk of falling near the pool and water. Your keeping me from assisting him at important times when we come into your facility.
I really enjoy this place, and my kids love it too. But, we ended up cancelling our membership last year because of covid, things were just a lot harder. Then, summer rolls around and, I try to renew my membership and they inform me that once you cancel your membership you have to wait a year before you go back!!! Which, was not told to me at the time of cancelation. So, now me and my children cannot return until July, which takes away from them swimming for the whole summer and leaves only about a month of swimming, unless its indoors which isnt as appealing to kids. I was very dissopointed about this situation and for the money my family invested last year a t this place and the money I was willing to invest this year, I dont believe this should be allowed. If your willing to pay you should be able to come back when you want too. So, if your considering canceling your membership for the winter remember you wont be able to return for exactly a year later!!!
I think the club has some great services, but i think they need to address the paddle tennis courts being constantly filled and being used by pickle players. We dont have a very long season and having them filled during it is frustrating. The club should really get a 3rd court. All places (but 1) in cincinnati have 3+ courts and with its increasing popularity, a 3rd court would be a great addition.
Simply the best in Cincinnati! Phenomenal facility and staff. Literally hundreds of group exercise classes with no extra charge. Huge exercise weight, and cardiovascular space. Indoor salt water lap pool. Second pool for water exercise classes and family swim. PGA golf simulator. And so much more.I have been a member since the very early days of this club. The amount of reinvestment and upgrading of facilities over the years demonstrates their commitment to excellence. The continuous improvements ensure the club stays relevant and responsive to their membership. They are exceeding Covid guidelines for sanitization and contact tracing, with no cases traced to this facility. All this and close to my home.
The staff is the best. I have never been to a gym where you can get to know the entire staff. The facility is clean, the members are very friendly. It is expensive but well worth it. The classes that are offered are great and the ladies that massage all of my kinks away are wonderful. I can’t say enough about the staff. It is more than a gym, a social type atmosphere with things that are done there outside of workouts like couple massage class, where you learn basic things to help your partner out. Love the place.
The Cincinnati Sports Club offers a wide variety of services. I go there several times a week and participate in something different almost every day from walking on the track to using fitness machines to playing pickle ball to yin yoga classes. The staff is extremely friendly and capable, and safety and security measures maintained by the Club and its members make me feel very comfortable to attend. I highly recommend the Cincinnati Sports Club
The Cincinnati Sports Club is a premiere facility with a highly trained and professional staff who make The Club feel like a home away from home.Their COVID protocols are beyond reproach, which has enabled our family to stay healthy while keeping safe. The monthly fee is definitely worth all the amenities and services membership affords.
I have been a member of the CSC for 25 years. I really think of it as my home away from home. It has been completely transformed in the last 25 years. They are always improving things. The club is always clean. The staff are super friendly and so are the members.. It is my great escape after work and has been my staycation in the summer. I love this place!
This is hands down the best gym facility in the Cincinnati area. Membership costs are higher than average, but reasonable given the quality of services. Clean, professional, respectful facility that is very welcoming. Gym is never packed like typical gyms, pool area is awesome and happy hours are great. 110% satisfied.
Ive been a member for about 4 months. The child care hours and activities are great. My 4 year old loves coming here. Everyone is really friendly. The variety of classes is nice as well (the Body Pump classes are especially fun). I like not having to belong to a Yoga studio, a Barre studio, and a gym to use free weights. Its all in one place. My only problem - and the reason for the 3 star review - is the smell. They talk about how everything has been renovated, but I think the main gym area where the free weights and the cardio equipment are smells kinda funky. Its off-putting. I am not sure if its the rubber mat surface holding in odors or just because its an older building but I think that area needs more attention. To me it feels dingy, dated, and neglected. Some of the elliptical machines have rust and broken pieces which gives the impression that things are not maintained well. Im considering cancelling my membership because of it - Ill happily go back to a clean, shiny barre studio and bright, open free weight gym. The only thing keeping me here is the fact that my kid enjoys it so much. There is a lot of focus on the new pool and outdoor bar opening this summer but I think instead of adding more stuff, attention should be on the existing areas and getting them up to 100% first.
As a new member of Cincinnati Sports Club, I have found the staff to be positive and the facilities spotless. CSC does a great job of communicating not only opportunities at the club, but all of the things that they are doing to keep their members and staff safe regarding all of the Covid-19 issues. I would highly recommend Cincinnati Sports Club to anyone interested in a great club experience!
This place is a blast for the whole family. You can get your nails done at the spa, go swimming outside where you can drink and they have food. They have an indoor pool that is warm water. Hot tub and any sport you can think of. The best thing for me is the daycare. They watch them for 2hours everyday then on Wednesday during the day you can leave the premises and they watch the kids for 5 hours and it is the same for Friday and Saturday night...Absolutely love it!
HORRIBLE!!!! I am disgusted with how I was treated by the staff at Cincinnati Sports Club. I held my daughters 3rd birthday at their facility. I signed a contract to have the gymnastic room, the rec gym and a party room. When I arrived I was treated poorly and told I was not getting the rec gym, and that I only agreed to the Gymnastic room. I pulled out my contract to inform them it wasnt true. All i got was an apology, and told I couldnt have the rec gym. So we continued with the party. My party facilitator, did not help, besides clean up. Toddlers were in the Gymnastic room, running all over the place and swinging off bars.It was so dangerous, while the facilitator was standing outside the door. I had to host and facilitate my daughters party, and I didnt get to show up and enjoy myself like I should have. So I contact the Supervisor a couple days after the party, to inform her of my experience and the breach of contract. I only asked for a lousy $80 back of the $240 I spent. She was rude and said I could only get $50 back and she wouldnt charge me for going over my party time. So we asked her to review their camera to prove we did not go over our party time. She said she would call us back after she reviewed the tape. It has been over a week and NOTHING!!! When I asked for $80 I was only asking for the rec gym that we did not receive. i was being nice, since our party facilitator did not do her job. I will NEVER SUPPORT THIS BUSINESS AGAIN!
When Im not running outside I love running here. The track is good. Sometimes a little crowded on the track. There are a lot of treadmills and elipticals. Locker room is always clean and has sauna and steam room. Great after a workout.Indoor and outdoor pools as well.
Great place for a workout or just to relax by the outdoor pool. Cincinnati sports club has everything youd want in a health/athletic club and more. Full gym, running track, racquet ball courts, tennis courts, even a golf simulator. The service is also top notch, everyone is nice and friendly. The only drawback is the cost. A membership is pretty high. Is it worth it? Depending on what you want or need it could be.
The Cincinnati Sports Club would be great if it was cheaper. There are a lot of options but you pay a very high price. And they tend to increase the monthly fees on a regular basis. A single person who gets the basic membership (without access to the pool - yes, thats a separate cost) pays over $90 a month (as of early 2018). At thats not counting the registration fee to join, which is around $300 (sometimes they offer deals so wait for those). Lots of kids around, too, which increases the volume and irritability factor, but Id put up with that if only it didnt cost an arm and a leg.
No place for adults only to work out. Staff unfriendly and never enforce rules. Locker rooms messy with discarded wet towels, hair in the shower drains and not clean. Broken equipment that I have made dozens of requests over the past THREE years to be repaired. Never have been repaired. Kids and babies running everywhere on mezzanine with and without wrist bands. Not a club for adults. Complaints never addressed about this and is getting worse and worse. Most of my friends have dropped out because of these issues. I am about to do the same. Poor management.
I have to say that I am a bit disappointed on the usage of the indoor soccer field. Every time I try to use the field it is booked. Also seems like both Saturday and Sundays are always booked. When I signed up I was excited to use the field but havent really had a chance to use it.I tried to use it on 2/15 and there was only a window of 10-11am to use it. In that timeframe half the field was blocked off for the kids from the child care area. The other half was also packed with kids and parents using it (which is totally fine). Just either need to add a new field or manage the time of the field.
Great sports complex. Has every amenity an athlete or individual looking to get and keep healthy could ever want or need. People are always friendly and will remember your name when you say hello. Can be busy during peak hours, however there is plenty to do. Whether you want to shoot some hoops, swim, weight train, play soccer, or even volleyball this place accomodates.
I would definitely not recommend playing indoor soccer here. The 5v5 aspect was really a lot of fun and I wouldve loved to come back, but there were too many reasons to avoid:Getting ahold Kevin, the Sports and Activity Manager, is like trying to get ahold of a Time Warner Cable representative. The scheduling was atrocious. We had 3 weeks off in a row, then a double-header playing the same team twice in a row.Not only was it lame scheduling, it was poorly planned. The week of our double-header, I was out of town for a family members surgery. I came back early for the games and it turned out that the field was double booked for a kids practice. PEOPLE HAVE LIVES! Whats funny is that I emailed Kevin asking about the scheduling, thinking it looked like something was up, but he never got back to me.Lastly, they advertise that the field is updated with new turf; however, this turf is very dangerous. There is hardly any rubber, so you slide all over the place. If youre a coach prospecting practice facilities, this is the last place I would have kids practice. The location is convenient for a lot of people and the 5v5 is a cool concept, but neither is worth the danger of the field nor the ineptitude of the staff.
I am actually disappointed about the amount of compassion they have towards their employees . They only worry about their reputation and image to society and not even about the health of their own employees, especially during this current winter/flu season. So if you see us being happy and cheerful, just know that we are actually miserable.
The food you order at any snack shack area in the club is disgusting and extremely over priced. I mean come on $5 for a PB&J!? The decor in the club inside and outside is extremely outdated and looks like it was styled in the 1980s. Fortuanley, most of the workers are polite, helpful, and kind however, some workers are extremely rude. Ive had mutiple occurrences where my children have been shouted at, and rudely spoken to over issues they had no control of and no knowledge of. These train of events have caused my family to leave the club along with mutiple of our family and friends. I do not reccomend this club. Thank you for reading this and hopefully I did not offend anyone.
I used to enjoy coming here to play basketball on mens nights. But after multiple experiences with the front desk over a few small misunderstandings they have made me and few other guests not feel welcome to come anymore. The customer service here is absolutely terrible , by far the worst ive ever experienced at a gym. Cathy at the front desk is disrespectful, mean and makes you feel like your unwelcome. And there security guards are liars and aholes and have the sence of power to them for being security at a gym. Lmao a real joke if you ask me.
The best sports complex in Cincinnati hands down. 3 pools, free weights, machines, tons of cardio, free group classes, day care, wine tastings, happy hours, (indoor and at the outdoor pool), indoor running track, golf simulator etc. Trainers on staff and great hours. No place else compares.
I do not recommend enrolling any child in their summer camp program, or any program where the kids are under the supervision of the staff there. Yesterday my husband went to pick up my daughter from the KidSport summer camp, and not only was she not at the pick up area, none of the counselors knew where she was or that she had been missing! The head counselor didnt even know who our daughter was or what she looked like. It was eventually discovered that they had left her in the pool area for at least 15-30 minutes, unsupervised. (She is not a very good swimmer!) Apparently they did not do a head count, roll call, or anything of that nature when leaving the pool area. There were other safety precautions that werent taken as well. When dropping her off I asked that she be put in a life vest, flotation belt, etc. since she wasnt a good swimmer. They tied a NOODLE around her waist, which she said came off shortly afterwards. This club is VERY sloppy and disorganized when it comes to kids and I strongly recommend that children are kept out of any of the programs where they are under the supervision of the staff if a parent is not present. The organizational problems run far too deep for this to be fixed easily and it puts the safety of the children at risk.
Specific to the rec soccer program at CSC, my teams experiences have been great. Ive had teams play in the Winter season for the past five years. The field has been shortened and is 5v5. Originally this was off-putting, but in the end it makes for a very dynamic and fun style of play, almost completely different that regular indoor fields - double rebounds, double speed, etc. As for the other negative reviewer on here, the field does not use rubber pellets as in-fill, rather plastic-coated sand by a local company, which is better for play and the environment. Use regular outdoor cleats and not indoor shoes or sneakers (as you will slide). The manager Kevin has been fantastic and has always been very responsive. This season we signed-up six teams and 57 players and he responded very quickly at every stage of the process. Thanks Kevin!
As a self pay patient the ortho doctors here are more willing and caring to see the person than the payment 5 days I tried to get into see someone in the tri health network as I always went through tri health network but when I couuldnt get in because I was self pay my wife found the Christ hospital network and they got me in the next day. Warren Harding iii and his team are amazing. I will gladly come back for any future bone issues and physical therapy. Keep up the great personal care for your patients.
The Cincinnati sports league has a dangerous and outdated indoor soccer field. My girlfriend and I both suffered torn ACLs that required expensive surgery and our knees will NEVER be the same again. The turf is terrible and the horrendous ventilation makes for the poorest conditions. On top of that all of our games we scheduled at either 10:15 PM or 10:40 PM on a Monday night. Who would want to play at that hour that works a day job? Please do yourself a favor and play anywhere else but here. I USED to love to play soccer but sadly those days are now over for both of us.
Watch out for suspending account if you are going out of town for a few months. They require 30-days written notice, so I am out of pocket the $160.00 for the month of July, since they wont suspend as of the end of this month. And then there is a fee of $150.00 to suspend. I think this is very unreasonable.
Cincinnati Sports Club is a great facility that is unfortunately staffed by a number of overbearing and humorless martinets. We have been members on-and-off for the past 20 years, and while recent improvements to the club are impressive, its management could use an upgrade.Again, we enjoy the club, especially the new(ish) adults-only “resort”pool and new multipurpose weight room. But heaven help you if you are found in violation of one of their ever-growing list of rules. In our most recent case, when our 19-year-old daughter briefly accompanied my wife to the 21-and-over resort pool, she (my wife) was first confronted by a member of the staff, then got a call from the club manager, and finally was sent a written reprimand. You would have thought the two of them had looted the cash register. As I shared in a written complaint, people join the club for fitness, leisure, and *fun.* They might try lightening up on members.UPDATE 10 July 2022:The response below from the sports club appeared within 24 hours of my review being posted. If you are monitoring social media for potentially negative reviews this closely, you might ask yourself why.

2022-05-17I was a member for over 4 years. Overall a decent gym, no complaints about the facility or amenities. However, please be forewarned that canceling your membership comically requires 30+ days for them to process. This is clearly unnecessary and must simply be a predatory way to grab another months worth of $ from you. Slimy. For the high price they charge I am shocked that that is how they choose to operate.

2022-04-04I’m a big fan of this gym! They have such great amenities for their members. They offer multiple pools, there’s trainers, salons, lots of equipment and gyms. Multiple types of indoor and outdoor courts, and it’s reasonably priced.

2022-03-29CSC does a great job of providing a variety of services for a reasonable price. I’ve been especially impressed by their personal training. My trainer Jarred (yes two Rs) provided the perfect combination of science based exercise, positive reinforcement, and flexible scheduling that has allowed me to see fantastic results in just a few months!

2022-01-01The actual facilities are good, like I enjoyed the warm water pool while I was a member for ~1.5 years and the locker rooms are great. But quite a few members and I told staff over and over to clean the bottom of the warm water pool more than once a week and nothing seemed to change...it got pretty gross with hair, bandaids, and dirt/silt throughout the week.Theyre in the middle of a multi-year development plan to add more amenities, but I think they need to do a LOT of work on their current facilities regarding maintenance and keeping things updated and clean.I do honestly hope they get better. I would return if they become consistent on their cleaning standards again, theres a reevaluation of the rules that are truly needed, an easier guest check-in process, and when COVID settles down...thats the only conversation that everyone wants to have there lately, seems like.Even when I joined a pickleball league for a couple weeks, my team members were obsessed with talking about COVID. The staff seems so incredibly fixated on enforcing the Clubs COVID rules instead of ALL the rules. Which I agree, we need to be safe and smart, and Im doing my best to do my part, but my gosh, theres other things to maintain and talk about too.I even felt like the staff were spying on us members through the facial ID cameras and just around the club in general, but that might not be true.I personally want a club where I can relax and get AWAY from thinking about COVID, not where it is the center of everything.

2022-03-05This club is outrageously rude and inconsiderate of their members. We have never been treated so poorly/disrespectful because the person they hired couldn’t handle their work load.I have never been treated so poorly than today at the club. This club is horrible!! The management is even worse!Don’t waste your money!!!

2021-07-04I have used a personal trainer for eight years. She is wonderful. She advices and encourages me not only on using machines and doing our exercises but also on nutrition and working out beyond the gym. She is professional, friendly and intuitive. I probably would not have continued exercising if it wasnt for our biweekly workouts.
