To fond the left over artifacts in the trees was amazing. To stand there hearing kids play at the nearby lake just gives the slightest hint at what was. Amazing and I wish I was born in a time I could have seen this place in its heyday. Yes on private property so To be there now is at your own risk. But amazing none the less

Its an important piece of Medina County history, although you cant see very much of Chippewa Lake Park, because its on currently on private property. Best times to visit are late Fall to early Spring, otherwise all you can see is a few of the parks artifacts near the closed down museum and the collapsed Ticket Booths.

Its a shame of burnt down. Would of loved to see it in its glory days. The fire had to be extremely hot to bend those steel beams

This is one of the coolest abandoned places in Northeast Ohio but goers beware. This is privately owned land and you will trespassing if you go past a certain section. But that shouldnt stop you from enjoying the place, there is a museum with items from the old Chippewa Lake Amusement park.
