DO NOT ORDER ONLINE!!! The absolute worse online ordering experience of my life!!! they make you select a time for pick up and I shoes up 8 min early and there was a line for online orders and not a person in line for in store ordering and sat there for an hour waiting for my order.... so 52 minutes past the pickup time... THERES NO EXCUSE FOR THIS TYPE OF DELAY
I have been to this location a couple times and have seen how stingy this location is with things such as rice, protein chips guac and queso. Not sure if they are honestly low on product or like charging customer for double portions when they ask for a reasonable serving. I went to this location this evening for with my wife and we asked for burrito bowels and the line worker did half a scoop of rice which they proceeded to spread out in the bowel. You could still see the bottom of the bowel…I asked for a bit more which they obliged, and they told me it would be extra, they charged me for double portion on the rice and protein, which they purposefully short red me and I assume the rest of their customers. I asked for chips and queso and was told they were out of chips unless I did an order online, um…what??? Are you guys short on inventory and rationing out what you have or are your shorting your customers product but charging full price if not more and calling it double portion?
Where to start I ordered online for 700 pm pick up. I did not receive the meal till 745 pm. I had to stand in line at the store for 45 minutes for pick up. This place has no organizational skills for handling big crowds of people. We also have employees telling everyone to be quiet in the facility so they can work. It would of been quicker for me to drive to Cleveland order at the chipotle and I still could of made it home before they finished my meal at 745. Update your site you cannot promise meal times and not fulfill them.
This place sucks. First they let people cut in line and then they were just standing around not doing anything. When i asked for rice they put some in there and then just took some out, so i had barely any rice. And the last time i went there i found a bone in my chicken. Disgusting.
They always try to give you the bare minimum of ingredients like I always have to ask for more... Even with the rice they try to skimp you! Like come on... Other places my burrito is so big I cant finish it! At this place its pathetic.. dont go here if your super hungry
Someone riddle me how at this location only, when I put an online order and go to get my pre ordered pre paid for food it’s never ready on time. I’m not talking a few minutes, the last two times it took me and my fiancé over 40 minutes to get our food. Moe’s doesn’t do me like this.
Came here around 8:45pm on 8/24/21 after being at Cedar Point all day. I rarely post reviews for chain businesses but they severely lacked customer service and concentrated more about closing clean up over an hour before closing time (10pm). They even were not accepting credit cards ONLY cash saying it the CC machine was down… yeah right! They had no extra food for the rest of the night and people were still coming in. Someone ordered white rice but they were out and were not making any more. They had 1 staff member on the food line and 4-5 staff members on clean up closing duty before 9:00pm. They were putting up the chairs while we were still eating.. Don’t recommend coming here at night!
One star is too much for this restaurant. I arrived at Chipotle at 9:30 PM for the buy one get one free deal. I waited 39 minutes in line and at 10:09 a man that works there stated that the buy one get one free deal was no longer available. He said it ended at 10 PM and there was nothing he could do about it. I pulled up the information on the website and it said the deal was from 3pm until close. It did not say until 10 PM and the store was definitely not closed yet. There were at least 10 more people behind me in line. This was very bad business and poor advertisement for the customer. They should have at least had a sign up on the door stating that at 10 PM they could no longer honor the deal. They did have signs hanging up saying “cash only” so they could’ve put a second sign up as well.
With a massive increase in online orders, this place has not caught on at all. Major adjustments have to be made at this location to accommodate the online orders. Twice now I have shown up at the “promised by” time and both times it hasn’t been ready. The last time it was half an hour late and this time (still waiting) I’m going on 25 minutes over. I actually showed up 5 minutes late this time yet here I sit waiting. I don’t know why I don’t just order at the restaurant bc the line moves so much faster than ordering online. Maybe if the restaurant line isn’t long, maybe the regular line should take some of the load off of the online line and help make some orders like other restaurants do
Every time I order online and go pick up my food, the food is not only cold. But they dont give me the right order. I paid for extra cheese, and there was little to no cheese in my bowl. The rice was watery, just not worth going to this location anymore. The one in Sheffield is always fresh, friendly people and tastes way better!
Very consistent in giving thr wrong order. Seems to not matter who is working, very consistent. We give it a try every few months, instead of driving to the next closest store, but the pattern holds. I would chalk it up to postpandemic life, but theyve been like this for years.
They were cleaning while there was 15 + people waiting on Togo’s because they were all so focused on closing. Made my order because I finally asked he grabs what he thought was mine made it handed me the bag. I told him that wasn’t mine that he put beans on it and he looked at me and said want me to take it out to show you there’s no beans on it. Well he did and guess what there was as I said because I watched it be quickly thrown together just to get me personally out the door. Also was not the only one standing there past there pick up times as they were scrambling around to get the place clean so they could leave. Unprofessional and I’ll drive where I have to so that I don’t get that service once again. Wasn’t the first time. It’s like that every single time you walk in this building. Oh and I’m pretty sure the guy was a manager. So great job guys.
This location used to be the best around, but honestly as really declined. The food quality has dropped & several times I had asked for double meat and after they give me another scoop, they use their fingers to pick out larger pieces of chicken from my bowl. Ridiculous. Most recently, I went to chipotle for a door dash order and the doors were locked. I had to have a customer let me in. Once in, let me tell you, there were Atleast 40 people waiting for their food (which nothing was being made.) People were walking out and other door dash drivers told me they had been waiting more than 40 minutes past the food will be done by times. They locked the doors so people wouldnt continue to come in because the teens working didnt want to do the work. Take the time and go to avon. This chipotle has nothing but frustration for customers. Not to mention I had someone make a mistake while putting together my bowl. I asked for chicken and she gave me steak. When I pointed it out, she let out a sigh and told me I need to focus better. They must have found their staff from taco bell to be that disrespectful and bold to blame a customer for their own mistake.
This is seriously one of the worst chipotles. Never seems very clean, both the dining and prep areas have been messy. Once, I had to ask for new salad lettuce because the container was tipped over and the ice water from below was getting in. The staff seems miserable. Had an employee tear a burrito so my husband asked for a double wrap so it wouldnt be messy and you could visibly see the employees annoyance. The last time I was in there they had no guac and the credit card system was down (they were legit asking to write down credit card numbers). Not returning.
I placed an order and they forgot the meat for my kids meal. Not to mention a half size bowl like they ran out of ingredients and my queso was like a spoonful. I contacted them not to complain but maybe just to get the meat for my kids taco. Multiple attempts and they still havent made it right . I wasnt asking for anything free just make my order right. At this point after someone was suppose to call me back I still havent heard from them! This is like the 4th time in a row something has been messed up with my orders.
Went to order our food and was told they were out of steak. My wife asked how long it would be for steak and the woman on the grill said it will be ready when its ready with an attitude. Did not get anything from them today. I understand everyone is understaffed but attitudes like that dont need to be working there.
Wow..1 hour from online order until the order was ready - 40 minutes past the online promise time! Got the bag and went home and then to make things worse found out the guacamole wasnt packed in the bag!! As soon as I walked in should have known something was wrong. There were 14 other people there also waiting for their late orders. This location has some work to do.
Edit: they tell you they dont have change after cashing you out... they owe me 70 cents. What business operates like this? I wouldve paid with a card.Employees look miserable. Like they hate their lives. The food and service suffer because of the staff. I drive farther to go to the other locations.
Every time we order online it’s 20-30 minutes late. Currently at 35 minutes over estimated finish time and still waiting. I get that it’s busy, and it’s not the employees fault. The manager needs to put more people on the line or the business model needs to be changed so the manager can give a stalled time for online orders or stop them altogether when the inside of the store is too busy. That or add an extra to go make line like other chipotles. At this point we despise ordering from this location. Again, the frontline employees are great and doing everything they can.
Went there for the very first time yesterday evening. The inside of that restaurant looked HORRIBLE AND DISGUSTING!!! EVERY garbage can was OVER FLOWING with garbage and the tables looked like they had not been wiped down all week! The floors had dropped food and trash all over. Even where they prepare the food was a complete nightmare. Workers were VERY sloppy in preparing the food and rude. I didnt order. No excuse that restaurant should EVER look like that especially where food is prepared!
This Chipotle does not operation as well as others. For example, today my online order was to be ready at 11:45am but the order was not completed until well after 12:00 pm. So apologies from the staff, just excuses. Just one example of a few issues Ive experienced here.Sheffield, Elyria, and North Ridgville are no doubt more customer focused.
I loved Chipotle when they first opened, but since then the prices have only climbed as the service and food quality has steadily plummeted. I waited 45 minutes tonight to be told that it would be another 10 minutes to grill the steak (which might have been more like 15-20 minutes for how unconcerned all the workers seemed to be). The line stretched around the dining room, and there was only one guy working the food, which would have been fine for me, had one of the other 8 workers been grilling steak....
The Chipotle in Amherst, OH has made it clear to me I am an unimportant customer. If I go in to order my food, the menu is limited. I cannot order a quesadilla if I order in person because I will hold up the line. Yet they made me wait while they made a quesadilla for an online order. The online orders are more important. So you think well just order online. I like to look at the meat choices available so I can order the one that looks the freshest or isnt out. This location operates on a different set of rules. Very disappointing. I LOVE Chipotle... definitely NOT the Amherst, OH location.
Absolutely to many people inside. Went in for a 6:15 pm. pick up order it took them an additional 30 minutes before they realized they lost the order. Total chaos with no leadership controlling the floor or the amount of people inside. The walk in order was faster than ordering on line. Should not have been so confusing.
Maybe because they are so busy they have let cleanliness and upkeep slide. My family and I were in for dinner around 6 pm. We seemed to be before the rush that came in following us. Tables were dirty, floors a mess and the decor needs a serious update. There was even an employee on break with her head down on a table. Yuck! Next time I ll take my meal home!
Ordered a pick up order. Receipt was correct but once I got home nothing in the order was correct. I called the store to get correct items and the person I spoke with hung up on me. Called back 3X and no one would answer the phone. Extremely displeased that during COVID we still try to order food to support our local establishments but are treated so badly.
Overall was great, employees were nice and the food tasted good but it was cold by the time i sat down at the table. I dont know if thats how the food always is but otherwise it was great! On another day delivery is not their strong suit though, i made an order for delivery and they sent someone elses.

Choose a different location! 30 minute wait in line to get through four customers ahead of us. Eight employees working, but Inefficient, unorganized, loud and chaotic. Poor customer service. Our family enjoys stopping at Chipotle when we travel, but we will never return to this location again.
I travel all across Cleveland and go to Chipotle pretty frequently, and this is the worst one. Every time I go in the tables are extremely dirty, and the staff is very rude. The employee at the register acted annoyed and angry that she even had to ring people out. Another employee was yelling across the dining room that they needed a manager to help them out. Seems like poor leadership and unmotivated staff.
I think the employees may be illiterate, almost every time I order from this location there is always items missing. I don’t think it is that hard to read what someone orders on a receipt, then put said item in the bag with their order. Next time I go to this location I will bring a hooked on phonics book to help them out.
I would love to put a great review, but this place is ridiculous, we ordered online, paid online, said it would be 40 minutes, kind of hangry, I maintained patience. I figured okay, we got 5 burritos it may take time.40 minutes passed. Then went to pick it up, and it was not done! They had to start making it on the spot. There as no line, so I dont know what they were doing. Not Satisfactory
I went in to order for my family and I and as soon as I asked for the my first order, a quesadilla, the employee told me I cant order that in person, that I would have to go online to do an order. The item is on there menu and he cant make it for me to order.... I dont know whats up with that but its ridiculous. I left and I took my family to KFC for dinner.
I really only order online for here for the easy and ready pick up on the side because its a busy location. The food is always good however there are a lot of fatty peices it seems, in the meat whether it be the steak or the carne asada.. I catch myself spitting small chewy peices out often. Also, i always request extra cheese on my order and i wish they would honor that because im lightweight obsessed with their cheese and do pay the extra fee for it but do not receive it. Overall its good food.
For some reason at the Amherst Ohio location when you order chipotle online for pick up or door dash the order it terrible! No meal nothing it’s almost a empty bowl! It’s like if you aren’t there in person just don’t order ! All this money and they just SUCK! And don’t call customer service! They don’t do anything for you! Step your game up or just close the location! Honestly SHITTYYY!!!!!
Horrible customer service. Tried to place an order through DoorDash, Chipotle canceled the order saying they could not fulfill it. Talked to worker there said I had to go through their corporate number which he never even gave me the number for. Then, tried placing an order through their website. Ordered said it was complete and had been placed just to find out 20 minutes later that they never got my order. Absolutely ridiculous. With so many other choices out there I will not be choosing Chipotle.
This location is hands down the worst one I have ever been to... I was the third person in line and it took them 15 minutes for them to take my order and yet they still sucked at that. The people their show no consideration for the people in side the store but rather do all online orders first before helping the customer inside the store.... This Location SUCKS!!!!!!!
My boyfriend and I both love chipotle, however this latest visit was a waste of time and money. Not only was the chicken burnt to the point of being inedible, but they also forgot about us on hold when we called for a very long time. He ended up having to hang up because they weren’t coming back. We’re both very dissatisfied with this meal and will most likely find somewhere else to eat next time.
12/6 I came into the restaurant and surprisingly it wasnt very busy at all however the gentleman that was eventually going to take the first part of my order was too busy talking to a female online to help me which left me standing awkwardly at the start of the line. As soon as he started my order he went back to continuous conversation with the female. It seemed the staff were more concerned about talking with each other than assisting customers, my side of sour cream was forgot and I had to wait for my order to be placed in the bag until they were done with their conversation. Im not sure I will be back to this location.
Pet Friendly? As we are eating our food a young lady comes in with a small kitten. She is holding it the entire time she orders her food. She is explaining how she just found it the other day. This cat looked terrible. Not one person working would tell her to leave. Some of the staff looked like they wanted to ask her to leave but .....silence. a few of the staff came from behind the counter and held the kitten while others just rubbed its ears. Right back to work with NO hand washing. Im thinking I will bring my Bulldog in tomorrow. Come on Amherst lets start teaching right from wrong and stop giving trophies to everyone. This is a product of this type of behavior ...you just lost a frequent patron. Disgusting!!
Came in today and wanted to get two steak bowls was told there was no more steak ready then one person told me 10 minutes the next said 8 minutes both were so rude and nasty to me then after we sat and waited they made someone else food and looked at me and laughed about it not a good place to go and will never go back.
Friendly staff, fair prices and convenient location. Though my bag of chips were very stale which was a bummer, because I love Chipotle for their lime chips. This location when I was there was a bit untidy, napkins crinkled up on the floor and a few tables and crumbs that hadnt been wiped up. But these things are trivial, I would still eat here again and if I get stale chips again Id choose to say something and hopefully get new ones. The queso was really good and I also got chicken tacos, I recommend them!
This is a good location with friendly staff and is very clean. The food choices are exactly as expected and all the pricing is comprable to any of the location. The bathrooms are well-maintained and all the tables and seating work at very clean. Overall I think this location is more than acceptable and I will certainly return here in the future
Just not the same as the 5 stars it use to be, a staff member of another location told me a while back they were given smaller spoons to serve the meat with and being a double meat customer I can tell its probably true , I guess with popularity come greed. Just my opinion! But Ill still go, they have the hook in me. LOL
Ordered 2 bowls. Chicken was burnt so bad I couldn’t even eat mine. Called management and was told there was nothing they could do because I didn’t have my receipt which I’m pretty sure I never even received from the cashier who was much more concerned with her conversation than waiting on me
Im not sure why I even goto the Amherst location anymore. Everytime I go it gets worse. Today the employee who misunderstood my request was less than apologetic when she messed up my bowl. I get home and start eating and it tastes like more lime than rice. If I hadnt been so hungry I wouldve tossed it in the garbage. Done. Not going back.
As much as we love the food, the sound/noise level there is stunning.We actually dread to open the door and feel the noise. Its certainly notpeople speaking. Its coming from loudspeakers. Its impossible to carryon a conversation in there. Ill bet the sound level exceeds governmentregulated workplace limits. That means workers are likely to suffer hearing losses.Please get this toned down and well come and enjoy your food more often.
The cashier with the name LaPorsha was completly slow and tacking so long to charge me the food. Also i ask her for the spoons and she dont even know where they was. Also a heavy set white guy was doing a lot loud racial coments about latinos. Management has to take of this. Im not coming at this again.
I just waited 25 minutes in line, just to be told that they were out of steak AND rice. No where was it said they were out and no one said anything until I was ready to make my hour. Next time you run out of ingredients, make sure you actually tell people instead of making them a half hour!
The care and attention to food at this restraunt is amazing. I come about 4 times a week if not more. It may have get busy but its always good. Just today the online employee went above and beyond. My friend ordered online for pick up under a couple aliases from the studio ghibli films. What we recieved really warmed our hearts. My friend had a drawing on a piece of paper taped to her burrito. It was from the movie Ponyo and it had Ponyo as well as a quote from the movie. For me it was a Calcifer from Howls Moving Castle engraved into the tin. Its one of my favorite movies with a quote from the it as well. My mom like Princess Mononoke and received a Kodama and a quote as well. I will definitely go back again!
Slowest Chipotle ever. Forty five minutes to wait in line. And then a black women who came out of the back decided she wanted to be rude to everybody ordering. I have never had such a terrible experience at a Chipotle. This is not the first time this has happened here but it is definitely the last.
I placed my online order 10 minutes before I had to leave for my lunch break, when I got there I was two minutes late, it still wasn’t done so I waited 15 more minutes that’s 25 mins in all and when I got my tacos and got to work everything fell out and I had to put it back in the shell with a spoon!
I effin love this location!! The food is always perfect and the crew is just so wonderful. This is the closest chipotle from us and we come from Wakeman so its awesome when every time we come to purchase food we always have the best experience! Thank you all for being so awesome and keep doing what yall are doing! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Like most say on here they are the slowest most poorly run chipotle youll ever find. I constantly find myself going somewhere else because I know the wait will be too long. Chipotles are always busy but most are efficient and quick this place is NOT extremely frustrating. Corporate needs to deal with this location failures
Possibly the worst chipotle Ive bee been to. The staff has no urgency for the customer, they are more concerned with talking to each other than assisting the customer. I waited in line for over 30 minutes there didnt seem to be any clear manager controlling the store and managing the team.I will never return to this location again

2022-01-29This Chipotle is always hit or miss on the quality of their food. Sometimes its really good but lately more bad. Our online orders have been wrong more than they have been right. Always missing something! Now they dont have lids and use aluminum foil to cover the bowls. I never get a notification when I order from the app when my order is ready from this location.

2022-02-02Me and my boyfriend just got food there. they are out of chips for walk in customers. the manager told them they could only sell chips to people who ordered online. we both asked for double meat and barely got any. i asked for double rice and it was so hard the guy putting it in my bowl had to take the spoon and crush it down. the drink station is absolutely gross. garbage everywhere. i understand they were busy but someone should at least take 2 seconds to clean it up a little bit. there was no napkins. all the lids were gone for drinks. we’re usually very satisfied when we go there but this time was absolutely gross. there’s so much fat in our meat we had to throw our food away. on top of all of that the tables in there looked like they haven’t been wiped down for days.

2021-08-04This chipotle is the best one Ive ever been at. Tonight, 8/3/21, the line was at the door and curving around the restaurant, busy as all hell. The team was absolutely killing it, everyone hustling and getting the job done.I specifically noticed the smaller African American girl working the line making customers orders (didnt catch her name). She was damn good. Flipped the line in between orders in under a minute, keeping it clean and quick. Banged out customers orders like it was nothing.And through all of this, it was the best tasting chipotle Ive had in a long time.Good job team

2022-04-09Picked up an online order for four during peak hours and all four were completely wrong so we had to find a last minute alternative. Credit was applied to the account but you cant refund the wasted time spent waiting for the order and the disappointment with the results.Pretty sure they were just understaffed though so may improve if/when higher ups get their s**t together.

2022-05-25Food was cold for the online order which I had to wait for anyway, they didnt give me my queso that I paid for and I had to ask for a cup and get it myself. The woman helping me did not have very good customer service skills either!! I get a half hour for lunch and barely made it back in time to clock back in. I wont be doing at Amherst, Ohio Chipotle anymore!

2019-11-09Other locations are a 5 star. Im not so sure if Lorain has a management issue or what but its filthy. When we got there, there was 1 person sitting, 1 person ahead of us in line. 100% filthy tables. We had to clean up our own table as well as the 3 customers behind us. Gross, just gross. Food was good but Gordon Ramsey would say this is a reflection of their practices and thats scary.

2021-12-10It was another late night on the job and I arrived at 9:50pm. They close at 10pm. I know, real nice of me right? Well, I wish I could have been there earlier way more than anyone there could have believe me. I figured I would get at the minimum a few looks, yet it was as if it were the middle of the shift for everyone, with a bit more cleaning activity in the background. They were really understandable and had I not brought it up I dont believe anything at all would have been said. Nice to see a group of young adults that understand that they get paid to work while on the clock and really seem to enjoy their jobs.👏👏
