Got sweet n sour chickenIt was all breading hardly any chicken, small pieces
First timer. Really liked the food. Got it quickly, too. One criticism is that the cashew chicken wasnt really spicy, but the flavor was good, regardless. I will eat there again.

If it was possible, and i could rate them lower, i would!Their customer service is lacking, non-existent, on the phone and in store!The shrimp toast is absolutely the nastiest i have ever tasted from, ANY so-called Chinese food restaurant in any country (including 3rd world)!I spoke to them about these things, but i am sure it didnt, and wont make any difference in how they do things, because as i also pointed out, that the locals, and/or Painesvilleites probably could care less, eat anything and may not care as long as its advertised as CHINESE FOOD (HAH) !
Best Chinese place in town. It’s easy to call in and make an order. Food is always ready in a reasonable amount of time. The proportions are a good size and the price is right. They have THE BEST lo mein! And their egg rolls are top notch!
For what it is, it’s pretty darn good. Fast, affordable, tasty Chinese food. A pickup order never takes more than 15 minutes to prepare. The veggies are always crisp and fresh. My wife and I have been getting take out from here for years.
This place is amazing. The portions are huge, the food is tasty, and the prices are perfect. I lived off of it at my time at Lake Erie College. I recommend their hot and sour soup, it is SO good. The eggrolls and lunch specials are amazing too, much better than other local establishments.
The only negative is they are not allowing dining in its all take out. The food is very good though.
I ordered the Szechuan chicken combo, extra spicy with chicken fingers and wonton soup. It came with the combo came with pork fried rice and egg roll. The egg roll and wonton soup was quite good. The chicken fingers were slightly overcooked, but not terrible.The Szechuan chicken however was not spicy or extra spicy as requested. I found two hard red peppers in it which I assume were supposed to make it spicy but they did not, but my main issue is this was supposed to be a Szechuan chicken dinner. All the components were there except the sauce. It had something pretending to be Szechuan sauce, but judging by the taste of it it was 1 part Szechuan sauce to 99 parts oil. It tasted like someone poured deep fryer oil onto the dinner and called it Szechuan sauce.I think everyone who rated this place high and said the food was great should get checked for COVID because they obviously lost their sense of taste.
Im surprised with the negative reviews! Its certainly some of the best Chinese food in the area (mind you, we live in NE Ohio, folks). They are a very efficient staff and your food is always ready in ten minutes. I cannot comment on the cleanliness of the kitchen, but I cant imagine its any worse than similar restaurants.
The one and only time I went here, I placed my order and asked to use a coupon that was attached to their menu. The guy at the register said I could only use it at my next visit. I paid with a credit card. The cook was coughing as he was making my food, which grossed me out. I could tell that they werent going to refund my money, or I would have cancelled my order and left. I ended up throwing most of it away, because I couldnt get past the idea of the cook hacking all over my food. The little bit I did taste was average. I would rather eat at any other chinese place around my area. The place was dirty, so I should have walked out to begin with. I dont recommend this establishment to anyone. Theyre very rude and unsanitary. Its a shame, because a lot of the food on the menu sounded very good.
Lazy and poor service. The kid at the counter billed me for the wrong size drink and instead of letting it go or taking it out of his $2 tip (above 20%) he made me go with the smaller size since I wasnt going to put the $0.60 difference for his mistake on my credit card. The entrance is filthy and food quality poor. No person at this establishment takes any pride in the work they do. This area has a ton of wonderful Asian American restaurants please dont put yourself through a visit here if you dont have to.

Food is nasty..beef with vegetables..beef was spoiled. I also order large sweet and sour chicken for which was not in my bag. No biggie there they didnt charge me for that. Also ordered chicken fried rice it was okay not good. Egg fu young just okay.
Tried for first time after reading reviews.It was horrible! Horrible! Could not even eat it. Had sweet and sour chicken, egg role, won ton soup and pepper steak. Tasted like old spoiled food. First time and last time 🤢
Love the Roast Pork Lo Mein with extra cabbage and hot oil. For a spin try eating with the chopsticks that they will give you when asked. The Shrimp Chips were extra crispy (but I know in the winter they are better than the summer--to humid in OH for them). Closed on Monday but open the other 6 days of the week. Usually a 10-15 minute cook time. Enjoy the local parks as you are poke-mon hunting and grab a bite of China House food on the hunt.

Premade ingredients seem to be the norm in the Asian restaurants in this area. Must be a syndicate running them. I would say this was the worst but it is the same as the others.Stay away. Not remotely good or sanitary.

2022-02-06First impressions are important and this bombed, will not be a returning customer.Recently moved to area and looking for a regular takeout place. Ordered sweet and sour, steamed dumplings, and chow mein (comes with white rice and fried noodles per menu). Asked for soy sauce, no soy sauce. No noodles with chow mein and thats why I ordered it. Chow mein had very low quality beef and was basically flavorless. Seemed dumplings tasted ok but couldnt even be picked up from to-go box without falling apart. Very disappointed.

2021-12-16Tried this place after many years and it is now fabulous. Food is always fresh, hot, and orders are ALWAYS correct. Tasty food, huge portions and pricing is good! They are my go to for Chinese and highly recommend.

2021-11-18Very greasy and not the greatest quality. Everything I had was either deep fried to oblivion or drenched in grease, could only take a few bites of vegetable lo mein before throwing it out. I dont think they use fresh ingredients and it really shows.
