The vegetables were under cooked which makes it hard to eat. Most of the food was dried out due to being warmed tooo long. When we were done & ready to leave, I ask for a to go cup for my beverage I got a look & a baby cup for a full pepsi.
The place is clean and the buffet is well stocked. The staff is friendly, and its a very good value. There is also a very wide variety of food. There is also a hibachi grill.
A pretty good place to go for an Asian buffet. The food was generally pretty good, some of it felt like it had been sitting out for a little bit but overall it was good! Selection could have been a little wider, though what was there was actually pretty good so I suppose thats better than more food but bad food. Staff was nice, everything was clean, and it didnt have that strange dank smell inside that some lower tier Asian Buffets have sometime. All in all, if youre looking for a buffet, this is a food choice!
Dont go during transition lunch to dinner times during the week. The food tastes either sitting around all morning or was re-cooked (chicken entrees) and ALL was super chewy even tho the outside was nice and soft. With this place having no competition the quality of their food has went down over the years sadly.
Do not eat there just went there all the food was cold chicken was basically raw and they probably gave me food poisoning. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!!!! Very disappointed!!!!!

This place has just turned awful. Honestly my son wanted a buffet to eat at for his birthday otherwise we wouldnt have went. Foods usually, dry, over cooked, and seems to have been sitting out for awhile. They also removed items from their buffet that me and my kids used to like.

General tos doesnt look or takes like chicken you use the gross part of the chicken to make it.and the egg rolls are a joke for a long time you put very very little filling its all wrap.rest was very good.

Bring back the Grill. We ate there mostly for the Choice of picking out our own meats, vegetables, noodles & sauces.. Add an egg if you want. That was always amazing.Now its closed. The egg rolls have changed. Not good at all. They are alot smaller, & taste like they came outta a grocery stores freezer. Very disappointed. The rest of the food was ok. Just dont feel that craving for it anymore. Bring back the grill & get your original Egg rolls back. Will make a difference.
We got the buffet when we went to the restaurant everything was warm everything was good and they actually had watermelon on their bar.
Very good food and service. Everything tasted fresh and the staff did a wonderful job on trying to be as covid safe as possible. They have shields up around the food, all wore masks and gloves and they served us the food we asked for at the buffet so no bare hands are near the food. Great experience
This was our first time to come here today. We were a little weary with covid an all but they were amazing with social distancing an gloves to wear to get the food! The food was amazing everything we had tasted great!! People were very nice!! Definitely our new favorite place!!!

I had one of the best meals Ive ever had at this restaurant. The food was authentic Chinese food and was so delicious. The staff was so attentive and made sure that I was well taken care of throughout my whole visit. I made sure to tip them generously because I know that they live on their tips.
Present an hour before closing. It was obvious that they didnt want to stock the buffet that close to closing.The food present on the buffet was old, having been present a while (what was there, anyway).

Been here numerous times. The food is good, much to chose from. Employees are very attentive to bringing drinks, taking used plates (as its an all you can eat buffet). Plan on coming hungry, so you can try many foods. Have American foods too, lots of desserts, fruits, meats, etc.
In a shopping center. Chinese, Mongolian, and American fare available.Pretty wide variety of items. Stuff is there from appetizers to entrées to sides to dessert, including lots of fruit. There is an entire Mongolian grill section to the restaurant.Cost is pretty moderate. My adult son and I went for the lunch buffet and a soft drink each. We came out stuffed for only $15.Recommended.
They had a large variety of food. Good service and a nice atmosphere. They have a Mongolian Bar and sushi. The place is clean and so are the bathrooms. Dinner was $11 for adults and I think it was $4.95 for children under 7. Drinks are $1.50. I will go back again.

Excellent food with better service. I came here with my wife only twice and a week apart. The waitress not only remember us but also what we ordered. She was the only one working and our drinks stayed full and she was asking us if we needed anything (not annoyingly) constantly. Highly recommended, especially for their lunch combo.
Good food with very good service. We did notice some of our favorite items were not available even for the dinner hour. The grill is available to select your own combinations. The grill is included in the set price.

I love Chinese food and especially Mongolian grill. Unfortunately this buffet does not have Mongolian grill but they still have very good food. In my opinion this is the best Chinese buffet in the Dayton area without a Mongolian grill. The food is normally very fresh. Ive been told that if they are out of an item on the grill to let them know and they will make sure that they fix that item up for me and bring it to my table. Sometimes there can be a problem with language barrier but thats normally not an issue.I definitely recommend this Chinese buffet!

Its better to eat there during busy times when food is fresher rather than near closing time. However thier Mongolian grill is cooked fresh as you watch, good anytime of day. Nice staff, always a clean building and dinning room. Recommend this surely.
For a buffet this place was really good. Lots of dishes and even though it was slow. The food was fresh. The service was great. And the price was so low I left a bigger tip!
I was nervous about trying this place but was pleasantly surprised. The food was freshly prepared and excellent, even when arriving after the typical lunch hour. The selection was great and I left a few pounds heavier than when I arrived.
Several years ago this restaurant took bellefountaine by storm, and they still havent stopped. Top notch service, hot, fresh food, expertly manned grill, clean restrooms, and great value. Best buffet in Logan county.

Pretty good food but I did notice in the corner of the wall that looks like Black mold. Please check that out because I dont want anyone getting sick.
So lets start off by saying theres black mold in the corner of the wall in the booth they sat my family in. Also, the windows were leaking and there was a nasty towel shoved down by the window. My daughters coat got all wet with said nasty water. The food is not so great either. Prices are HIGH, especially for the aldis steak sauce and peanut butter cookies. The best part was watching the guy by the sushi cook with big sticks. Thats about it, but it probably was a health hazard.
My wife and I usually visit China Grill Buffet when we have available time to sit together for a romantic dinner. This doesnt happen that often anymore with working schedules and availability of time period on our last visit to this particular restaurant we experienced good food and persons hustling trying to make the best service for the people dining in. Our personal belief is that they may need to try to freshen up some of these items by adding sauces to whats been sitting in the warm trays just a little bit more often. All the food in this Buffet is unequaled in the Bellefontaine area. Be sure stop by come in and see US citizens bill fill your belly this is also a great place to bring your children so many choices kids are guaranteed to have fun. Enjoy your meal

I ate here a few months back and the food was old and cold. Given places have their bad days, my daughter wanted Chinese so I figured Id give it another shot. First off not much of a selection, the food was not good at all, and they over charged my card. This will be the last time visiting this place. Ill go to another town next time we decide on Chinese
I have been there several times and find the food, in most cases, good tasting, warm and consistent! Unfortunately, I have experienced just today over cooked fried shrimp, cold egg rolls and spring rolls. The buffalo wings were nearly empty at 2:30pm! Very disappointed! Spicy chicken and egg foo young was delicious!

Timmy us always accommodating. Kim runs the kitchen and always says hello if you say hi first , remember she is very busy. The servers are always business like but very good at keeping things moving , refills plates removed ect.. I have my favorite Ones. I have yet to have a bad meal and the Egg Drop soup is what I have my husband get me when I am sick. Thank You Timmy for years of great food.
Havent been in the past year went on thursday the 25th ordered buttered mushrooms 2 orders of egg rolls pork n veggies with fried rice general tso chicken mushrooms has no flavor eggrolls were nothing like the buffet my general tso was sweet chicken not what general tso chicken is in the buffet no chicken wings 2 fried rice when it should have been 3. Very dissatisfed with it. I hope they fix it and make it right but i doubt it.

I hate to give a low review to any buffet, but just wow.For a Friday evening at dinner time the food was of low standards. Mostly dry and seems to have been out on the steamers for some time. A few things were wonderful like the roast and also the crab. However the more traditional Chinese buffet dished I was simply not impressed with. I will try this location once more however that will be the last if conditions persist.
Update: on Nov 6th 2021...i just found out they raised their prices and also if you have a group of 7 or more...they automatically add 15% tip on your bill even when you dont ask them to as well as no Senior discount.I love this buffet. I have been eating here for years. I took a friend on her birthday...they put together a desert plate complete with a little pink teddy bear candle. And they played Happy Birthday over a sound system(rather than singing at the table...less embarressment for those that dont like being the center of attention). It made her day!

With raising value meal prices at fast food places a buffet such as this at nearly the same cost is the real value. Wide variety of Chinese food in typical Buffet style. Nice cold salad bar & build your own plate and they hot grill /cook it for you in front of you as well. (At Buffet not at tableside). Most recent visit couldnt have been better. Was on a Sat. Late lunch and they kept the buffet STACKED up with hot / good food. For three of us, drinking only water, the check total was only about 20.00. With the service and food we all were VERY happy especially at such a bargain price.

Went here today with my husband and our daughter. We will never go back! Why you might ask, we went up to get our food and when we sat down I was talking to my husband and looked down at my plate and things were moving. I told my husband to look and there were worms on my food. My husband went to get the owner and he took my plate, looked at my husband and daughter and asked if theirs were ok? My husband said no they’re not ok my wife had worms in her food. We definitely aren’t risking having worms in our food also. I would have taken a picture but a rule of ours is no cell phones in restaurants. I told my husband he should have waited to say anything until our daughter got back inside with the phone.

China Grill is as good as a buffet will get around Bellefontaine. The food is okay at times, at the ends of the day it seems to dip in quality a lot. You will either never get a refill or get a refill after taking one sip depending on where you are seated.

My coworker is constantly wanting to go to various Chinese buffets in the assorted cities that we work in. However, I have yet to visit another one that is as good as the China Grill Buffet.

Was there for 10 minutes and saw multiple cross contamination violations, at the grill the chicken was white and old and the beef was grey, lo main noodles tasted like seafood, shrimp was old and falling apart, staff unfriendly. There were 4 of us. We all took one bit and talked to the manager and walked out. Worst Ive seen in a long time

2022-05-23Not bad for a Buffett. Honey chicken & cheesy crab entree is good. Veggies undercooked. Ice cream machine is the best. The grill is the best too but they don’t have that open yet. Staff is very attentive on filling drinks & grabbing dirty plates from table. Curtains/walls are really gross, advice don’t sit by them. Pretty sure people use them as napkins & theyve never been washed. Price is $10 per person, $12 with drink, which isn’t bad since it’s all you can eat.

2022-03-15Food was not very good quality were not even offer a senior or VA discount very high price for the quality of the food. Ive been to this restaurant a couple years ago they had very good quality food at that point but now the quality has went very far downhill I do not believe I would want to go back. The only way I would go back is if they would offer me and my spouse a meal as a guest for free to show to me the quality of food has picked it back up to a reasonable quality if they do I will report on this.

2022-05-20They had the steam tables turned up because it was lunch time, so everything was actually pretty much hot or at least warm this time. Most of the things I ate tasted ok. The employees were arguing with each other, again. The employees always seem very unhappy in general.

2021-11-21I dined here last around six years ago, and remembered it as a pretty good Chinese buffet. Today I wasnt disappointed! The dishes were flavorful, used quality meat, and had vegetables which were not overcooked. If youre someone who has tried many Chinese buffets, youll know that having all three of the above qualities is not common for a Chinese buffet in the Midwest. 2021-12-14They have great food and pleasant experience. Friendly staff. Clean establishment. Ordering take out is ideal. The one size they have is a huge portion I think. I made three meals out of it. Very reasonable prices.

2022-04-27General Taos Chicken was horrible. There was very little sauce to the General Taos or the Beef & Broccoli. No spice to the General Taos Chicken. Fried Rice was bland. White was ok. Manager was surprised when I asked for chopsticks. Asked me 3x if I was sure. I felt rushed to order when it was my first time ordering from here and it will be my last.
