China Garden in other cities:
The only reason im giving this place one star is because i cant give it 0. My fiance ordered white rice and mixed veggies. The rice smelled old, like a dirty tennis shoe and the vegetables were just plain awful. He took one bite of the rice and one bite of the veggies and gagged. He threw it away immediately. I would never recommend this place to anyone. Absolutely terrible. Go to China Chef
Have ate here for many years. I always have to order my food and asked for it freshly cooked or in their words less crispy or it arrives hard as a rock... however I love their food when its super fresh or not over cooked. Not as fancy but delivery is prompt enough most of the time, everything is packed well and neat. Prices are VERY fair! Best prices around, so 4 stars for them!!
I have been ordering from China Garden for years, We love this place. The food is always hot, and here of late it has really been fantastic. I think they have new cooks, the food seems fresher as well. Their is a language barrier so please check your order before you leave. Quick, priced right, good food, and they deliver.Terry
Love this place anyways, but todays experience inspired me to leave a review.Ordered my dinner (delivery, online, two of my favorite things in a restaurant), including an order of fried donuts. When the food got here, I realized theyd given me fried wontons instead. I figured Id clicked the wrong thing and my boyfriend could have them when he got home. But about half an hour later, just as I was lamenting my lack of donuts, the delivery guy showed back up with them! They noticed their mistake and now Im eating hot, delicious donuts.
Currently on my way to the hospital with my 5 month pregnant girlfriend due to her vomiting for hours straight after eating there beef an broccoli. Manager had the audacity to tell me that it wasnt there food and she was throwing up just because she was pregnant. If you want to avoid food poisoning and terrible management do not eat here. If I could give it less than 1 star I would.
Not only were the an hour late on my delivery, but the food was absolutely terrible. I felt like I was forced to tip the late delivery guy, and I ordered a Pepsi and received a Coke which I feel like they got a good chuckle out of back at their place. Never again will I be treated with such neglect and disrespect.
Absolute garbage. Ordered from here 3 times, twice the food was so burnt it was inedible. On the last time, I tried to correct the order several times with the delivery driver but he could not speak english. Trying to rectify the order several more times with the manager, the order was still incorrect. Would not order food from here again.
My boyfriend and I ordered food from there and there was A BUG IN THE FOOD. Called to complain and request money back because OBVIOUSLY couldnt eat bug infested food...they accused us of lying and refused to give a refund. Claimed that we were trying to rip them off in order to get free food? To have someone blatantly defame our character when all we were trying to do was get a refund for a CLEARLY DEFECTIVE ORDER goes beyond simply bad customer service. DO NOT EAT HERE IT IS DISGUSTING AND UNSANITARY.
Average to Lower Than Average chinese takeout. Absolutely terrible service. I was away from my phone momentarily, the driver chewed me out as soon as I met him downstairs (he had been waiting for three minutes, max). Then he had me fill out the receipt. I had tipped online, so I just put in the total again. He proceeded to ask me repeatedly where his tip was, giving me back the receipt. I told him I tipped online and he didnt care. He would not give me my food until he saw a tip. I looked over the itemized receipt, and it appeared that the online tip didn’t go through. I tipped a reasonable amount and he yelled at me to give him his pen back (which I was about to do). Then huffed out of there. He honestly looked like he was going to follow me into my building if he didn’t get his tip. I should have left $0.01. We will not be ordering here again.
One of the best Chinese restaurants in Greater Cleveland. Flavorful entrees made with very lean meats, plenty of vegetables with limited sodium, sugar and oil. This is authentic Cantonese, Hunan and Schezwan modified for the American palate. Pork Wontons taste like those found in Chinatowns. Light Crab Rangoon. Incredible Mu Shu Pork and Pork Lo Mein. Regular prices among the lowest anywhere with online coupons available.
Ill order here occasionally while at work. Delivery times are pretty quick, I dont think Ive waited more than 10 minutes. Food quality is ok, as others mentioned, sometimes its a coin toss. Beware of the non english speaking employees that answer the phone to take your order. The chineese/English barrier can be a bit overwhelming. Overall, not a bad place to get a bite-to-eat once in a while.
Incredible dining experience with exquisite ocean views, world-class service, and perfectly crafted dishes that rival any other food service establishment in the entire northeast region of the state. Rumour has it that Gordon Ramsey even learned Chinese to incorporate the infamous cat-meat-like flavor in their Pork Lo Mein into his gourmet dishes, and that Northfield Park Racetrack is thinking of replacing their buffet with signature dishes from here given the expiration of their current contract with the failed subsidiary of Golden Corral.
I have never complained about service here however today I ordered roast pork lo mein and fried chicken wings. Two wings were burnt and the lo mein was old and nasty. And two wings were not even whole! So I asked for new wings before I tasted lo mein. They brought me 3 wings not even a full order.Done eating here.I feel sick.
Wait for two hours, called them and they said they that they didn’t get the order until 30 mins after I placed it. Charged me before I got my food and didn’t care that the wait time was so long just to have it start on its way over to my house. Won’t be ordering from here again.
Didnt listen when i told them i wanted to use a card so when then came to deliver he wouldnt accept my card so i had to barrow cash...very unhappy that they didnt listen when i said twice that i was using a card..even called back to say i was using a card again and they still didnt listen

2022-07-16Dont waste your money here, just go anywhere else, seriously! The veggies are not cooked enough, they seem almost raw, other items are overcooked, some almost burned, and everything is so greasy! Their sauces have a strong taste of smoke, I wonder if they burn them too. Years ago this place used to have if not great, but at least decent Chinese food. Those days are gone!

2022-04-07I ask for medium spicy, the lady didn’t know what that meant so she asked me to reiterate and I know she understood it. They gave me me mild meat. No silverware, no chop sticks. Idk how they expected me to eat the food. Food good otherwise. Not a great experience.

2022-04-13Great family run Chinese restaurant that I have been going to for years. Prices have gone up slightly due to the cost of food going up from COVID. Very good food, prices are still low.

2022-04-07My food is always hot and fresh when I order from there. They also have reasonable menu choices and very easy to read.

2022-02-03Gave this place two tries and I have to say this is the worst Chinese food Ive ever had. The chicken used is 90% gristle, fried rice wasnt even fried, vegetables were hardly cooked. Only redemption was the donuts, but how can you screw that up?
