The restaurant was empty yet there was a 45 minute wait. I went there twice and 45 minute wait. I left both times. On the third time we got seated to a empty restaurant and we over heard them telling people that there was a 30 minute wait. There was about 14 people seated.My advice is go somewhere that has it more organized and together.
We took a risk coming to chillis last night, drove about a half an hour with anticipation and excitement having not been to a chillis in years.. we recently watched Due date the movie and decided to make reservations after the veteran in the wheelchair scene.. what we walked into was incredible. The staff,the hostess, our waitress, and how the team worked together getting our drinks and appetizers It was just FUN!! We had some AMAZING sizzling fajitas. Our waitress was from San Diego and she was PHENOMENAL!! We havent been to a chillis 5 years or so..So we had plenty of questions and reccomendations in foods to try to which they were very understanding and patient..The wife and I didnt expect such a Great experience!. We will definitely reccomend this location to friends and family. Thank you chillis on North Hamilton rd!!! 5 stars all across the board from us!!!
A really convenient and new location in New Albany. While the food was very tasty, and the service was good, most of our food was either luke warm or cold (cold fries are gross.) The covid precautions wete good and the online menu worked like a charm. Overall, an ok dining experience. We will try it again and hope for hot food. Side note, the restaurant was a bit too cold for some of our party, so maybe our food sat for a while before being served, and thats why it was cold.
I’ve attempted to eat here 4 different times over the past few months and have only been successful twice. It’s just me, I want to just sit at the bar but when there’s no bartenders that’s not possible. Foods been fine when I’ve been able to eat and have a drink, but it might not be worth trying again.
Only come here for Doordash. This place is super slow. It tells you to put in your number then wait in the car. I have waited so long for an order that the customer cancelled it before they brought it out after I had already sat there for 25 mins!! Then if you walk in to check on it they either ignore you or give you attitude and tell you to go wait in the car.
Stopped in for a quick lunch with the wife while running errands, didnt even realize it was their grand opening week. Hostess got us seated right away and waitress greeted us within mere seconds. She pointed out the lunch specials and even made recommendations if we so inclined. Drink order arrived quickly and she took our food order. Food came out quickly and hot, well prepared and plated nicely. Wife had soup and club sandwich lunch special, chicken fajitas for myself (could have had less peppers and onions and maybe a little more rice) food was tasty and appropriately priced for portion size. Check arrived and we were thanked by multiple managers and staff for dining with them. Only displeasure to the visit was the constant asking to sign up for the chilis club (4 times is excessive) and the tabletop kiosks that they wanted patrons to use after being touched and possibly manipulated by every earlier customer.
I placed a to go order with my appetizer being soup. When I got to the restaurant they told me that they were out of soup and asked what I would like instead. I told them that salad would be fine, and I did not think twice about it. When I got home to open my meal, they put a cheesecake in there for free! That was very sweet of them! Thank you all for such a great customer service experience!
They are never fully staffed, but seat several tables. Be prepared to wait or to get less service. The servers are definitely overworked here. They do really well with how much they have to work! Food was great once we got everything. Owner also was working the bar, which was appreciated. Just need more help.
Terrible service and the manager needs trained on customer service. Went in today. Asked for 3 for 10. Server had no idea what she was doing. Burger was rare. Asked for another. 30 minutes later no burger. Asked for sweet tea, got water. Just an all around terrible experience. Manager said she would comp the burger yet my bill was more than I even ordered that I never received. Manager lost her cool and told us to get out. All I wanted was a decent meal and to be treated decently. Wont go back ever. Terrible food and the Manager on duty, heavy set female was very rude. I ran restaurants for years.. couldnt ever imagine treating people like this.
I mean its Chilis, but after not having been there in 10 years I was pretty disappointed. The prices are comparable to meals I can get from good local restaurants. But the quality of the food was so low. Everything was dry. We couldnt finish our food. We rarely complain but when I couldnt justify packing it up to pick at later we decided to let them know. Our waitress was wonderful and accommodating. The manager on the other hand accused me of not knowing what corn should taste like (corn on the cob being gummy is a no go for me). He told my wife her fajitas which she barely touched looked nice and juicy (it looked reheated and plastic-y it was chewy and tough and dry). We were very respectful and we did enjoy our mixed drinks. Well use the rest of our gift card on drinks and chips and salsa. And then we wont return.
Me and my husband both ordered from the 3 for $10 menu. My husband ordered the bacon burger without cheese or bacon, but when they brought it out, it had both cheese and bacon. The waitress apologized, and let us know that while she submitted the order correctly, the cook was new, and got it wrong. It took an additional 30 minutes for my husband to get his correct order! This is unacceptable. So my husband had to watch me eat, and then I had to wait for him to eat, as I was done before he was served. In addition, our waitress had trouble getting us a correct bill. She said that they charged us for the corrected burger, and we had to wait as she tried twice unsuccessfully before finally removing the extra charge on her third try. We dine out once a week to enjoy dinner together. This night was not enjoyable, nor were we able to dine together. This was our first bad experience at this location, but it was bad enough for us to think twice before patronizing them again. It seems standards for service here are quite low.
So, I was going to give this place a 2 or 3 star rating, but still decided to give 5 stars for the result. For reference, I’m only 17 and came here with my dad on July 25th, 2021. We had an AMAZING waitress by the name of Kayla. She was extremely polite, funny, and overall gave off happy vibes, which upped our experience. When it came to ordering however, I overheard they had “new” chefs in the back. Not sure how new, but the food was extremely delayed. I got my food about 35 minutes after ordering, and my dad’s 45. Was pretty upset they couldn’t come out at the same time, considering I was a little over halfway done with my meal already. However, I’m rating five stars tonight because the nice owner, after communicating with Kayla, was able to give us one of our meals ($18) for free, bringing our total down to $19.22. I really do appreciate how much effort they put into making it right. If this review is ever seen by the owner, give Kayla a big thanks, she really deserves it.
I went there with a friend of mine for lunch today. First off I didnt realize that a Chilis was there. It was amazing. I had a pick three appetizer plate for my lunch. It had fried pickles, boneless wings along with southwest egg rolls! Needless to say it was fantastic! Didnt know what was better the food or the equally amazing staff! All were great but Anna was our waitress! Great personality and she talked me into desert. A chocolate volcano! If you havent been there before or in awhile you need to go. Great place..Great atmosphere and ask for Anna!
Love Chilis but this experience at this Chilis was not good. Took forever to get drinks then when we got them they were all wrong. Food took forever and they werent that busy. When we got the food it was right but we got the unlimited Chips and Salsa which we finished the first basket before the food came asked several employees if we could get more Chips and Salsa and they all said sure then never got any until after we were done eating our food. Ordered more drinks and again were all wrong.
This place is awesome! I ordered a classic margarita and it was really good, one of the best margaritas Ive had in a while. I also ordered the shrimp tacos and OH MY GOODNESS, DELICIOUS!!!! We sat at the bar and Rose was amazing!! She was so delightful! I loved that the manager came by to ask how we were doing and how the food was. Overall, this is an amazing place! I will come back again!
Service was a little sluggish but the food was good. The chime on the to-go entry was driving us crazy. I understand someone needs to know when people are coming and going but surely something can be done to not annoy everyone in the restaurant. Maybe lights in various places around the facility that will grab staffs attention but the chime was WAY too loud.
Avoid to go orders! Never get all the items I order, and the ones I do are never made correctly. Dont bother calling for a manager because they will ignore you on hold until you hang up. Even when the associate says their manager is right next to them..... What a joke.
Okay so the servers (all of them) are quite special. They treat people with respect and they are so kind. I take the time to look around to see how they are, and customers look so pleased. In my experience, the food is great, the experience is great and so is the location! Now, my pasta was cold the last time I went, but I know it was because it was really busy and one of the servers (or managers) apologized and explained why. Free pass because things happen! No worries! Thank you all for making this place a really fun time to visit!
Had to go on a wait, with maybe three parties in front of us. However, we counted no less than eight empty tables, most needing bussing. Ordered chips and salsa and must have gotten the bottom of the bag because there were more crumbs than chips. Had Texas cheese fries and the first order came out with the cheese completely fried on the fries instead of melted.On a positive note, our newer waitress (sorry I forget her name) was great. Letting us know she was still learning helped us understand her side better. The food and Long Islands tasted good, too.
Ordered food to go, arrived on time and had to wait 35 minutes, and my food was burnt. Theres a burger with brisket on it, dont eat it. they clearly gave me several day old brisket. I took a bite, spit it out drive right back to Wendys and got a hamburger that was 10 times better. For making a hamburger that terrible im not sure why it took them almost 2 hours to make it
We hadnt been to Chilis in awhile and decided to try this new location after a few bad experiences at another location. We did the call ahead seating. The hostess, Bailey was very friendly and helpful and able to accommodate our request for a booth. Lots of choices on the menu. We started with chips and salsa which came out quickly. Drinks were refilled frequently. The manager came by and checked on us. It took awhile for our food to come out. My younger son inhaled his cheeseburger and ate most of his fries. My older son ordered the fajita trio with shrimp, chicken and steak. It was hot and fresh and enough food for most people, but he would have preferred more protein and less veggies. I ordered the beef brisket quesadilla which came out with just cheese and bacon. Second time came out with brisket but still had bacon which it wasnt supposed to have and would have been better without. Overall, the food was good and reasonably priced. Restaurant is clean. The entire staff was polite and service was great with Bailey being the stand out. Highly recommend this location.
This place is probably the most disgusting food I have ever experienced. Tried it once when they had just opened. Horrible experience... Again tonight. I ordered a Chipotle Chicken Bowl... Ice cold, missing a main ingredient. Avocado was rotten on one end... my daughters Quesadilla was served with one piece missing the meat and cheese... there was nothing in between... I can’t imagine a Cook, Server or Manager allowing food like this to be served. I would rate in the Negative if the option was available.
I have been here twice since it opened and was initially so excited to have a Chili’s close to work. However, my experiences here have been terrible. The biggest problem is the hostess. On both visits, I have waited several minutes to even be acknowledged by a hostess, despite being the only person waiting. On my most recent visit, the hostess finally acknowledged me only because I was standing between her and where she wanted to walk. When she finally came back, she told me there would be a 20 minute wait, which is pretty absurd for a Thursday night when there were lots of open tables and no one else waiting. Since we’d already waited for her to acknowledge us and then come back and check us in, we weren’t really keen on waiting for her to get around to seat us. We drove over to the other side of the parking lot and went to CIty BBQ instead.
Waitress was not very helpful & with masks, definitely didnt speak loud enough. Our secondary server/busier was way more helpful during our visit. They encourage signing up for rewards and offer appetizer and then said it would be 20+ min before they would even be available. How does a restaurant run out of chips and salsa on a Friday night? Just some issues that I dont believe we should have run into.
Food was good and tasty... We got free chips and salsa if you join there group.so realize if you want chips and salsa from Chilis youre going to have to pay extra for that unless you join their group... Now if youre in a rush or you only have a certain amount of time this is not the place for you to go...we were done with the chips and salsa and been almost through two whole drinks before the food finally came.Just being honest about this trip.
My boyfriend and I ordered the southern burger all the way done and both of our sandwiches the meat was not done inside. Raw, we informed them and they cooked another that was not done again.. on the third attempt I didnt want it anymore but my boyfriends was cooked well done the 3rd time. Not sure if we will be going back to this location.
The food was great! Our service could have been more. Who doesnt get tired of reminding servers that we need things! I for one like my drinks filled, and my requests fulfilled. Extra napkins and getting the order right shouldnt be an issue, but it was. Again, its All about your servers. I pay for good service, and I expect it!
Ordered take out, because that was the only option. They didnt bother to give us silverware or napkins. The food was horrible. Fries were stale and cold. Crispers used to be their thing, but these were rubbery gross chicken. Corn on the cob- no butter or salt or pepper. Major fail. $35 wasted.
I was excited when this location opened because I really like Chili’s. Food was good when they first opened but is becoming more and more disappointing the past three times I visited. Decided to give it one more chance and had the chicken crispers. The chicken was NOT good. The crispers were very thin and chewy! Quality of food has diminished since opening.
Service was not good even had to wait 15 mins to get a to go box my dips came out with things in them took for ever to get new . the chicken tasted like liver. Our napkins looked like they had blood im the middle.and she was upset we asked for clean ones.not a great experience.
I REALLY want to like this place. I used to work at a Chilis while in college so it will always hold a special place in my heart. Plus this Chilis is so close to home. That said, this restaurant needs new management. The past 2x weve been here weve had bad experiences. This time we were quoted 20 minutes to be seated and it took over 80 minutes. Then, once we were seated it took our server 15 minutes to greet us, no exaggeration here. Never saw a manager walk the restaurant to check on the guests. After working in the restaurant industry for 5 years, this kind of stuff bugs me and I know its unacceptable at many other places.
Went multiple times. Waitress were wonderful but that is where it stop. If you dont like lemon dont order any grilled chicken. Dont want to eat a salt shaker, dont order the fried chicken. Have an issue, dont expect a pleasant manager wanting to fix the problem. He argued with everyone at the table. We will NEVER go back. And thats a shame.
Carry out orders are horrible at least for me. The first time I placed a to go order, food was missing I drove back to get what was missing. When I got home of course my food was cold by that time. Got ready to enjoy my cold meal and couldn’t. I ordered the chicken and waffles the waffles were rock hard couldn’t even bite or break, the chicken was fine. I also ordered a cookie that had a terrible taste to it.I called them back and they apologized and offered me a gift card that I didn’t receive. I called back about the gift card and a different manager took my information and said it will be sent to my email in three days. I decide to give them another chance and order carry out again and it was also horrible. Some of what I ordered was wrong, cheese on top of my fries was burnt, and also had a piece of hair in it.The way they pack your food is like they are giving it to some kind of animal or something and even if it was for an animal everyone deserves some kind of respect. Food is tossed around in the bag not even nicely packed. They need better bags to pack peoples to go orders so things isn’t falling over. Anyways this second time was a big turn off for me so I told the manager I didn’t want the food and got my money back.I handed the food back and he said they would just toss it and asked if I would like anything out of it. I decided to keep the Dessert and even that was messed up didn’t have everything in it that it’s suppose to come with. I truly hope they can fix this for the future not everyone wants to sit and eat especially at this time with the virus. I would have given a 2 star but the food is good when no issues are involved.
Had appetizer special. (Pick three) VERY good. Enough to take some home for later. Tableside (computer) ordering, which I dont like! Asked for menu and ordered from it. Ribs were fall off the bone good! Atmosphere was ok...not real loud, thank goodness. Paid by that fn computer screen...still have not received my copy of the bill which they said they would send to my email address. Definitely will go back.
First and last visit at this location.Slow service, poor food quality (cold and tasted old), server gave us the bill before the dessert ever arrived, when asked they forgot but it was on the bill! We got the dinner for 2 deal that automatically included the dessert and we had chosen which at the start.Overall just a sad performance for a chilis
I have had numerous issues with this particular resteraunt inside and to go. They literally have tables open, and not covid spacing tables, a ton of tables open and wont seat you. And dont even think To go is going to be faster, because the wait for a to go order is 45 minutes to an hour. Who ever is managing or staffing needs to take a look at the amount of to go orders coming out the kitchen. An hour wait is ridiculous. Wasting peoples time. They do have good food for a good price but the place is so mismanaged its impossible to even get food.
Used the curbside service. They were really busy but came pretty quick. I did have an issue with my burger, where it was undercooked. I jumped the gun a little with my survey, but decided to call the location directly. The manager Mark was super polite and took care of reimbursing me the value of the meal. I will definitely return with service like this. Thanks!!
I would not recommend. I was trying this location for the first time. I ordered a meal for lunch, although it didn’t seem busy (2pm no really lunch or dinner time) it took them 5 minutes to bring out my order. I wouldn’t have minded but my order was completely cold and I was missing the dressing for my sauce. Also missing chips and salad the were in meal description online but not on the order ticket. With so many other options around, I will opt for a full meal somewhere else that’s complete and warm.
I waited 55 minutes for my curbside order, then had to go in to get it. The girl at the counter screamed at everyone waiting for their orders to get out! I finally grabbed the bag after the extremely long wait without checking to see that everything was there. Then when I got home with the food about half of my order was missing. Im allergic to avocado and requested them to not put it on my chicken taco but it was there anyway. I tried to call the restaurant several times to fix the order but it rang until it hung up each time so after 5 tries I gave up realizing they were refusing to answer the phone. Very disappointed in the service and quality of care for customers.
Our server was horrible and was always rushed, the few times she came back to our table. They weren’t anywhere near busy and she checked on her other tables several times.Our food was good but I have no intention of returning to this restaurant, there are too many other restaurants with better food and better service.
We were sat at a table and left there for over 15 minutes. There were two tables sat after us who received service before us. It’d been 10+ years since we had gone to one of these pathetic excuses for a restaurant. It’ll be a lot longer before I ever consider them again. Pathetic.
Chilis 3 for 10 is the best value in casual dining. The location we patronized is on point. Large Togo order with drinks, apps, entrees & dessert and not one item missing or incorrect. Its not 5 star quality but compared to other places to eat in this price point, Chilis is the best hands down.
Server forgot about us so ordering took a long time.Food was delayed then all came at once, appetizer, dinner, and dessert which melted before we could get to it. My spouse and I both woke up with the worst indigestion and nausea. Not a great experience for us so we wont be returning. Too bad because we were really looking forward to this new location opening. They have alot of work to do or it wont last long.
Curbside order was not brought out despite text-bot indicating theyd be right out after I texted my arrival. After fifteen minutes I went in and my order was sitting on a shelf to be carried out.Arriving home the order was missing two sides and tortillas for the fajitas. Ford received was good, though.
One of the worst chili’s i’ve ever been to. The food was horrible, my steak was extremely overcooked, I got corn on the cob but had nothing on it. The service was terrible it seems like no one is working together and just all around was one of the worst chili’s i’ve been to the one there are way better better ones in town go to one of those
My wife and I met with two other couples for dinner. Service was terribleFast forward a month and we get our bank statement to find we were not just our bill but, the bill our friends as well. After talking to friends and finding out they were charged accordingly. Chilis has made no attempt to rectify this charge. I suggest you dont go here.
Dined in. Ordered a the 3 for $13.29...the burgers, pickled chips, and house BBQ boneless wings. Food came out, wings were Buffalo. I let the waiter know and he insisted they were Buffalo. To prove the point, tasted wings and again let him know they are Buffalo. The sauce dripping off was clearly Buffalo. They did bring out a larger order of House BBQ boneless wings but I was almost done with the rest of the meal. The color of the sauce should have let them and the waiter know the wrong wings came out.
Please wait to go until they work out the kinks. Ordered the explosion salad, it came to the table with literally lettuce, cheese and tortilla strips. The table also ordered chips and salsa, it took 20 min for them to remember to bring it.I normally love chilis so this was a big let down.
Based on todays experience. It was the worst experience we have had at this location. I dont think we will be returning. The manager Bill Pitt was the Pitts. I dont think he cares about customer service. Food sub par and other problems too much to write about. If you do go ask for Irene. She was the only good thing about this visit.
Very kind and accommodating, seems like they had a great first week and they have a great team. I had a mix-up with the carryout I ordered tonight so I called in and asked for it to be remade which they instantly said no problem to. The boy I talked to on the phone was very very nice and helpful. He asked them to remake my wrong food, he threw in an extra bag of chips and salsa for me, and they gave me a skillet cookie too. Very kind of them. It just stinks that people are so rude sometimes that some genuine kindness from a guest is appreciated this much. Love this restaurant and this location is my new favorite. Ill be back soon!
I frequent this restaurant often with family. I have to say at first I was a little worried with the customer service but today we went and the service was night and day, thanks to a waitress named Taysha. This was not her regular store, she is from Polaris. I believe she should switch to Hamilton Quarters because she is a good fit. Her personality, welcoming spirit, and exceptional customer service skills won us over. She was on top of everything from our drink refills to checking on us often. Hopefully, the next time we come back we will see Taysha.
This place is a mess. Been here twice and I will never be back, the last time I was there was because I wanted to give it another chance but I should have never gone. Waited over 45 minutes for my food without anyone acknowledging I was there, got home and had no dressing for our side salads, no straws for our drinks, and everything was ICE cold. Threw everything away, it’s been over a week and I’m still waiting on my damn refund. NEVER AGAIN!
Im so excited Chilis is on our side of town, I only gave it a four stars because I ordered the skillet queso for home delivery and they only filled up the container halfway and it was a very small container if we are to pay almost $8 for it I think we should have more of a larger size.....

2022-05-15Delicious American food. From ribs, burgers, and shrimps Chili’s always delivers. Their adult beverages are satisfying. Service was prompt and the staff were very friendly. Convenient parking around the restaurant.

2022-03-13I’m just not sure what their cup size chili would be?!?! 2 spoonfuls???Online order easy, food came out on time. But I’m not sure if their “bowl” size for chili is right! It was suppose to be dinner for 3 adults.

2021-08-09Everything was so good! We got the 2 for $25 deal. Started with the loaded Texas fries. I got the bacon chicken ranch quesadilla and my husband got the cajun chicken pasta. We ended the meal with the skillet cookie. So much food for $25. Our server was a little busy, but still very attentive and set a good pace for our meal. Will definitely return!

2021-04-25The hostess was very friendly. My wife and I got a booth seat immediately despite them being busy during early dinner hours on Saturday. The waiter was very attentive and polite. The staff were thoroughly cleaning tables between each cuatomer. We were thanked for our visit by all the staff on our way out. Food was delicious and fast considering how busy the location was. A great experience overall, and my wife and I were both very satisfied with the amount of food for the prices.

2022-04-12Im not sure if all Chilis are this way... Or just this one.... But the service was slow...very very slow. The food was ok except my fries were cold. I didnt want to wait forever to try and get warm ones so I just didnt eat them. The waiter forgot to bring us things and we had to remind him twice. Im wondering if it might just be this location because all the employees we watched seemed to be clueless. Might need new management here.

2022-03-27Would have given NO stars if I could. Hostess needed trained. Mgr. seated us. No refills. Had to ask for napkins. No plates, no straws.Got a knife and no other silverware .worst boneless wings ever. Left them. No discount. Couldnt get a printed receipt without standing there waiting for 10 minutes. Way to treat an older couple that happened to be military. If I was from corporate I would close this one down!

2022-07-04Sent my steak back because it was well done and not a medium. Was told it would be 5min to get another. 20min later, everyone is done eating, my steak comes back out and is well done again. Will not be going back to this location.
