They prioritized us knowing we needed our wiper transmission done badly, and did a great job at it as well. No other place would have done it for us in the same day. We were in and out within a little over an hour, and we are very satisfied with the amazing job they did on our car. Very affordable work, about half the price less than other estimates from another repair shop that we usually go to. This is my new go-to repair shop. They do not take advantage, they run their business a little differently, in a good way. If you go to them, you wont regret it.
I took my car to a chain repair shop in town because I had concerns about my transmission. They came back with all kinds of codes and an estimate of $1,100. I had never gone to Chets Auto repair because they are about 25 miles from my house but I knew they had a great reputation from friends of mine so I took My car to them for a second opinion. Even though they do not work on heavy transmission work, they said that they would take a look at my car and they diagnosed my problem and fixed my car for $108. I have since taken my car back for a front end alignment and oil change.They do quality work and I trust them.

This place is great. I hate that its so far away, but it speaks to how much I trust this place that Ill drive or arrange transport to Pataskala from Canal Winchester to have them work on my vehicle. They really treat your car like their own! I was quoted $2200 for issues Chets was able to fix for $550! They even give military discount which speaks volumes to the character of a company to me!They have earned my patronage and I hope theyll earn yours as well!
My car has been out of commission for about a month , money is tight and its been a difficult time trying to figure out what was wrong with my car . Tried to do what I could on a budget a small budget and ended up needing more help . I appreciate the honesty and work Chets did for me , Steve called me every step of the way and got my car going in a day ! First off, Wow. I had never heard of this auto repair place in Pataskala before, so thank u google for finding Chet’s for me. They were kind, courteous, informative, thorough, and fast. My A/C is ice cold now and it is awesome. I wish I would have found this place a long time ago. Thank you Chet’s.
Always honest! Doesnt try to push or sell anything on you like Midas or other places do. Theyll tell you if you honestly do or dont need something and then leave it all up to you for decisions. I always go to them over anything car related! Very kind and polite too!! Would give 6 stars if I could

After years of living in many different cities Ive found a real caring and honest auto repair business. This gem is Chets Auto Repair in Pataskala Ohio. My son was having major suspension/subframe problems with a high mileage 2007 Nissan Sentra. Steve was able to diagnose the problem, locate the parts and repair the Sentra in two days at a reasonable cost. Although we live in another city, we will use this auto repair service for all future repairs.PS. Two days after the Sentra was back on the road Steve @ Chets sent a text to my son asking how the car was driving. My sons response was GREAT! Never had a repair shop do a follow up before . For that effort Chets deserves 6 stars

Very rude. Yelled at us just for asking how much it would cost to fix major car issue. Took our $600 elsewhere. Go to Fellowship Auto Repair in Pataskala... They were very understanding and even gave us an hour long ride home to get the money for them to fix it. Was back on the road safely in no time with $ saved and no problems. Kind people there! Chets? Not so much.

Awesome friendly service! The blower quit working late on a Wednesday just before we were to leave for Florida (Friday). We called Chets first thing Thursday morning, and even though they were filled up with customers, they managed to fit us in. Allen found a mouse nest by the cabin air filter, likely what caused the blower and cabin air filter to fail, along with blocking the A/C water discharge. Car was ready for us in time to use it for our vacation. We were not expecting that! We may start using them for regular laser service instead of the dealer.
Timing chain was done. It was done in a timely manner. Car running good. Employees were cool too.

2022-03-30Our team was on the way to complete a project and the brakes needed emergency mechanical repairs. Lucky for us our first call was Chet’s. Steve was very helpful recommended a towing service worked our truck in for emergency repairs. Being a business owners I understand I was asking for a lot. I could since the hesitation in his voice as he reviewed his schedule for the day and said “ I don’t know how, but I will make a way”. He did just that the truck are arrived to him a little later in the day than he thought. Soon after Steve called me went over the repairs and the estimate was thorough and complete. He put (2) techs on it and got us taken care of. It is great to see there are still great honest mechanics that have empathy for their customers in tough situations.Thanks to the whole team at Chet’s outstanding job.

2022-06-23Was on our way to Childrens Hospital and started having car issues. We had to get off the interstate because the car was shaking badly. 2021-10-04Excellent excellent place to get your car repaired. First they are HONEST. You never have to question their integrity. Secondly, pricing is so far. Measure them against a dealers cost for repairs and youll know what I mean. I highly recommend them which explains why they are so busy. Also Steve is great.

All around 2 great experiences for me, with 2 different vehicles, now. My father used to bring his cars here when he was stumped, and my father was an airplane technician, so it speaks a lot for the quality and knowledge of the people that work there. I am so pleased.
