Chardon square maple fest was ok. Over-priced for sure. I still think chardon square is a safe nice looking place though. Kid and adult friendly.

We were there for the maple sugar festival. It was really just a hokey local parade and a lot of fair food. Parking was a mile from the square.
Charming step back in time with a classic town square! Beautiful area and unique shops. Has a recently restored theatre. Maple festival is an absolute must. My pics were taken during Halloween time.
Been coming to the Maple Festival for nearly 52 years first as a child then as a parent now a grandfather. Look forward to this every year

The square is beautiful and the shops are unique. The restaurants and coffee shop all have great food! If youre into pokemon go, this is the place to be.
You can sit and enjoy the view or a nice picnic on the square but they also offer so much more.Yoga in the park, farmers market, all the cute little stores around the square. They even have a Sugar shack in the fall.
Its always nice up on the square.

Stopped in at Zappys car wash for a nice clean minivan I dont think youll see me going through BTs 13 and up dollar drive-through car wash anytime in the near future or anytime after that thats ridiculous Mystery Box up in Chardon and it does as good as the 13 and $17 one at BT

Quaint little town it remind you of Mayberry. People are very friendly and quite a few unique little stores. Its like the little towns you see in the Hallmark movies
We loved the flea market today. I found some excellent deals. Nicely laid out and even a few fair trucks of food.

Chardon Square is a two block area located in Chardon, Ohio. Government offices are located here along with several small restaurants and unique shops. The flowers alone are worth the trip.
My home town. Winter, spring, summer and fall its beautiful. Town is historic, many century homes preserved. The court house is the highest elevation in the county. Folks are friendly and close knit in time of need. Maple Festival is a great gathering every spring. Good eats and great maple syrup.
Visited the court house for work purposes, upon entering the officer was so nice & pleasant to talk with, the staff that assisted me via phone & in person were so very nice! The whole process was quick and easy!

Excellent car show in July with a beautiful idyllic setting. Very well-maintained and clean. Friendly people whose warmth you can feel. Cant wait until next year and I hope the weather is just as fabulous.

I went 4/25/19 for the maple festival and it was fun had a syrup stir which was very tasty some really good BBQ and apple fritters. They were getting set up for the syrup making demo but unfortunately I was unable to stay for it. If you like maple syrup and home made baked goods youre in for a good time.

Chardon square is beautiful , very quaint, small town vibe. Greatly improved since I was there 5 years ago.
Although technically not a square.Classic quintessential town center with a courthouse and a gazebo to make the Mark Twain like story of a Sunday afternoon even better.Only thing missing is a bunch of kids painting fences.If theres an event going on most of the restaurants will be slow for service and of course overpriced.

I love the square. Its family friendly with much to do. At times there are functions, such as recently the corn roast. Sometimes the crosswalks take a long time to wait for, but its worth the peacefulness of the square.
Beautiful park in the center of Chardon, Ohio. There are benches, a gazebo and restrooms as well as a building for events. Drinking fountains work in the spring through the fall. This is also the home of the Maple Festival in late April
This was a great place to hang out and do some work during the summer. I stopped here for lunch most days. The square has a park in the middle that is green, calm, and very relaxing. Lots of picnic tables and places to sit.
Chardon Square Flea Market was very well organized. Alot of nice vendors, beautiful weather !!
Its really pretty when they decorate for the seasons. Its a town square not a park really but its a nice spot to sit or take pics and have lunch
Visited the Geauga Maple Festival. It was their 90th Year of doing this. Had fun stirring and eating maple stirs for $1.50 a piece. Not too extremely bad for the money. All the other festival prices where high priced ($3.oo for a soft serve icecream cone and $6.00 for a Sausage sandwich), but... thats what you expect these days at fairs and festivals.
Chardon does a nice job keeping up with the square, the Chardon Square community group, whose name escapes me at the moment, does all the flowers in the middle of the street and hanging from the posts, and they always do a nice job. There are tons of activities held in the square, it is very community oriented. Unfortunately, however, the old cabin on the square is gone, and that was lovely.

Went there for a beer fest last weekend, great time. They really did a good job putting it together. If you go to the maple festival there its also a great time.
We went to the Maple Festival and thoroughly enjoyed our time there. They just need some benches for some of us older people to stop and sit and enjoy the shade and fresh air.
In the heart of the snow belt in Geauga County. Home of the Maple Festival, Farmers market and many other events. Very charming shops and restaurants.
Beautiful each season with places to eat for everyone or events going on around the gazebo. Playground, library and small shops to enjoy too.
Farmers market was nice today, most people are wearing masks and all the vendors I saw were so its safe.

This is the best place for Pokemon Go. Just park at the Square and start to walk. There are several Pokestops and 2 gyms. There are lots of people walking around playing. You can just keep circling the Square to the Pokestops and loading up. All while catching Pokemon of course.

We went on the Chardon Chocolate Walk. It was a creative idea and it was organized very well. All of the store owners were really friendly.

I spent a lot of time on here as a teen and even as a young adult. They have events and farmers markets. A few good places to eat and some antique shops.

Very nice old buildings. Sort of old fashioned looking. I just dont care for the parking on the circle. Its often hard to see well to back out into the street.

2022-04-24Beautiful spot, festival parking could be better, especially for older folks. I took my dad here for the maple festival and for the designated parking you could find was just too far. I ended up having to drop him off and meeting him over there.Also, there wasnt much there for the older crowd, it was clearly set up for kids with minimal things for adults.Another disappointment was no displays or set ups of how maple syrup/candy is created and how much maple it takes.On the plus side the maple stir was amazing!

2022-06-26So beautiful ! Nice to sit outside and enjoy lunch or just people watching. Like stepping back in time. They have flea markets, farmers markets and various other things, all equally enjoyable.

2022-04-26Went for maple fest. It was fun for the toddlers first time. But way to over crowded . I personally dont like being shoulder to shoulder with strangers. Too small of an area. Maybe if they were able to spread it out a bit more.

2020-08-30Small town America complete with a town square, American flags, small shops and eateries. Very clean and well kept. We stopped, had lunch in the square, and walked around. A nice little town.
