We just moves to town and thought we would try this Asian place because it got high reviews. However, I just got our food and very disappointed. I ordered the Chiken Fried Rice and it has no flavor I cant even taste any type of seasoning or salt. Its very bland. I probably wont eat it. My husband got the Korean Spicy Chicken and got an option to have it Crazy Spicy so he did. His whole dish is very bland also. The spice doesnt even have flavor. Needless to say I wont be coming back.
I’m from out of town and had to run over to the bank and Kroger , I saw this place and it had a great feeling to it and looked delicious. Called later for dinner , and they were a little short staffed so couldn’t deliver, no worries for me it was a short drive and the gentleman was so nice. He even called to make sure I was finding it ok knowing I was out of town. When I arrived I was greeted with warm cheerful smiles and they treated my son As one of theirs, gave him a lollipop, drink and made a little joke with him . Our food was hot, fresh, and so delicious! Some of the best chicken on a stick I’ve had, and I’ve tried a lot of Chinese! It’s my favorite! Chicken Lo mein was great. The shrimp are huge, sweet and plentiful in my main dish! I will definitely be back, they also made sure I had plenty of napkins, plates, utensils, sauces etc bc they knew I was in a hotel. I visit once or twice a year and I will be wanting it until I return again and try new items!! Thanks again guys for taking good care of us!
Tonight we ordered take out and tried Chans Asian Wok, for the first time. Our order included 3 meals with fairly restrictive dietary requests (one of the reasons our family doesnt typically order out). That being said, when I called to place the order, they were very attentive to our familys needs/ requests and acted like I was their most important customer. A lot of times, it seems like people are annoyed by the requests. Honestly I probably would be if I was taking my order. Ha! This was not the case at all, tonight. The gentleman even made suggestions to help with the order. When reading back the order, he even confirmed the dietary restrictions with me. Upon pickup, the staff was some of the nicest people Ive ever met. Again they made me feel very welcome and special like I was some kind of VIP. Ha! The restaurant and take out setup was extremely clean and sanitary and they were all still practicing safe distancing, money handling and food distribution. The woman working thanked me at least a dozen times for ordering, visiting and supporting their business. When we got home, the food was prepared to our requests and all the meals were extremely tasty too! Overall, it was an awesome first experience tonight with Chans Asian Wok, for our family! We will definitely be returning customers!
Great chinese food and great service. I had never been there before and asked the lady about a dish. She was very helpful and thanked me for coming to her restaurant. I got the bourbon chicken with brown rice and broccoli, and some spring rolls. The price of the meal was reasonable at $7.25. All the food was fresh, large portions, and flavorful! I definitely will be back
I came here with some friends after a swim practice for lunch, and we ordered the Sweet and Sour chicken and Chicken on Stick. The service was absolutely fantastic as we got our food almost 2 minutes after ordering. The waiters were accommodating and gave us extra plates. However it was the food that impressed most. The Chicken on Stick was great, and we all shared and enjoyed it, and the sweet and sour chicken was wonderful too. Overall, a great experience that we would all come again to.
I would not recommend this place. I ordered the garlic chicken and chef speciality, sesame chicken. The food tasted old, there was barely any sauce on the meat and it wasnt even hot. This was highly dissatisfying considering that we live within 5 mins of this location.
The same man has worked their for as long as I can remember. The manager has been kind to me all my life and has watched me grow up and form a family. The food has Never been anything but perfect. They take pride in their customer service and quality of life. Eat here for authentic Chinese food, no where else.
I have really been craving some good crab Rangoon and Sweet & Sour chicken here recently and I’d have to say that out of all the places I’ve been to in the last month, Chan’s Asian Wok is DEFINITELY in the top 5 for good Sweet & Sour chicken as well as crab Rangoon! Not to mention, the lovely woman who rung me up was very kind and not afraid to interact. Oh, and not to mention, all my food (rolls, chicken and crab Rangoon) stayed nice and crisp and fresh! The sweet and sour sauce also tasted absolutely delicious and unique which is something I definitely look for as it seems the sweet and sour sauces from other places are often a uniform kind of flavor.Overall, I would definitely recommend visiting here for some carry-out, especially during this whole pandemic thing.
I love this place, its my new favorite take out. Their dinner portions are great sizes, I got two meals out of just one order. I went back for lunch and again, their portions and hospitality are really great. Nice family restaurant with great food, prices and servings.Would recommend!
Stopped by to pick up dinner. Ordered soup, fried rice and egg rolls.Weve been to this restaurant many times in the past.New people own it now and have no idea of how to cook. Tasteless food,no flavor,no seasoning. Terrible. Will not be back.Balance of food was thrown out.
Chan’s Asian Wok is run by a fantastic local family serving great food! I’ve eaten here over the past twenty years and the service is friendly and the food is delicious. I call ahead a lot for carry out and my meal is quickly and accurately prepared. Love the home made hot mustard for my egg rolls!
Years Ive bought many a lunch and dinner. Each time Ive used the 10% coupon they offer right on their website. Each time they have stamped my frequent visit card they provide customers for each meal purchased. Yesterday for the first time ever, they refused to stamp my frequent visit card. The reason they said was because I used the 10% coupon. I tried to explain they had been honoring both for years, but they very rudely would not listen and was completely dismissive. They have lost the important understanding of what it means to retain customers. Given the multitude of similar eating establishments, you should consider somewhere else that still understands how important you are as a customer and will stand behind their marketing efforts to keep you.
For being what I thought was going to be a hole in the wall it turned out to be very nice, with clean and bright layout well and didnt feel... Oriental Trading Company. The dining area was divided off from the entry and take out traffic and was comfortable. The fair is predictable but cheaper then what I get at home and was served quick and hot. The staff was professional and also quick to keep my drink filled without hovering. He was there ready to fill before I realized I needed it.I will have to make this a must stop when searching the shelve of Half Priced Books two doors down.
Outstanding food. Probably the best American-Chinese food Ive come across. Ive tried the orange, general tso, and teriyaki chicken. All were fantastic, but that teriyaki chicken was the best Ive ever had. Great value too. The lunch special is $6 and you get chicken on a stick with it for free! Very friendly staff too. No need to call in. I walk in at peak lunchtime and it takes less than 5min to get my food.
Im giving five stars for the Hot and Sour soup alone. I order it at every Chinese restaurant I got to and this is the only one I have found that does it right since moving to Ohio 9 years ago and I have been to at least 10 different ones. The entrees we ordered were not very good, (Spicy Korean Chicken and Shrimp lo-mein) lo-mein tasted like nasty tap water, which surprised me because the soup did not. We also ordered wonton with garlic sauce that was very good and fried dumplings were also good. We ordered delivery the eta was 30 minutes they got here in 20 and the food was very hot so A plus for that. It beats the crap out of Fantastic wok.
Overcooked, dried out tempura shrimp. Chicken teriyaki more breading than chicken and not really teriyaki flavored. Bowl of white rice came with dried-out top layer. Drink refilled with something I didnt order. If the food had been high quality, the price would have been ok.
We enjoy Chan’s Asian Wok every chance we can, both take-out and dine-in. The Bourbon Chicken is loaded with meat, General Tso’s chicken has the right amount of spice and Vegetable Lo Mein for the vegetarians in our family. Chicken Lettuce wraps, egg rolls and steamed dumplings make perfect side dishes. They are always quick and hot.
Mongolian beef was too sweet, most Mongolian beef dishes l had in the past were spicy and salty, this one was sweet like molasses, it was waaaay tooo sweet and a little spicy. I also didnt like the beef strips that were battered and deep fried.I will not go to this restaurant again...lf you want authentic Chinese food, dont go here.
Every time I decide to try Chan’s on a blue spell I’m disappointed - year after year. They don’t improve over a years time.Food is not that greatThey get your order wrong some timeIf you place a to go order via phone.Be on the swivel or you just maybe disappointed too.
We watched them and we think they recycled the fried noodles that they sit on all the tables….It made me sick. They took the half eaten bowls of the noodles to the back and came out with full bowls. Not 100% sure but they dumped all the other food in the garbage in the front and took the half eaten noodles to the back….now go figure it out for yourself!!!
Such a let down for Chinese food!I ordered pork Lo mein with shrimp and a egg drop soup and the pork had so much fat on it and it smelled sour! The shrimp had no flavor and the egg drop soup tasted old and congealed! The only thing that was good was the shrimp egg roll and the packet of duck sauce!!Wont ever come back!!

2022-04-04One of our favorite stops for quick Asian food! Fast service, GREAT prices, and friendly staff. Make sure to try the hot and sour soup! The restaurant is run by mostly family, which has helped them to keep the prices from rising during the pandemic. For those with unique tastes or diet restrictions, they are very accommodating. Let them know if you like more traditional Asian flavors and they will include more spices to give more flavor. As someone who travels a lot, I prefer the more authentic use of spices compared to the common Americanized level and they are happy to accommodate.

2021-11-04One of the worst meal I have. I ordered dinner combo beef Mongolian, combo lo mein, eggroll. All dishes are way subpar. Rice under cook, Beef overcoat and should I have a batter iit on it What bad vegetable ratio to green onion. Over cooked beef or most likely reuse me. I throw the whole plate away. Lo mein on the tasteless Side. Eggroll not made in the house super clean and very little tease. family restaurant like this make PF Chang and peiwei and Panda Express which have no Asian cooking at all in the back kitchen, Superior. Once upon a time the previous couple restaurants had nothing on the hometown Chinese American restaurants.

2020-10-15Man, this place is usually great but we ordered carry out tonight, and it was just awful! :( The sauce on the Mongolian beef was way too thick and sweet, and the spicy level four (out of five) hot and sour soup was literally 1/4 soup and 3/4 hot oil! We ordered as part of the dinner rush, so maybe they were overwhelmed and just threw everything together?!? Will definitely order from there again, but maybe not during peak business hours...

2018-12-08A regular Chinese eatery in Mason. The place has a lot of menu items. They give free chicken stick as soon as you sit. Nothing for vegetarians. The food tasted ok. Nothing great but nothing bad. The service is fine but our wait staff didnt speak English.

2021-12-26We were in town for the day from Columbus and looking for some good Chinese food. This place was great! They were fast and the food was exactly what we were hoping for. Very tasty and reasonably priced. I loved the bourbon chicken and my husband enjoyed the general tsos. So glad we found this restaurant!

2022-03-03Food was amazing the first time and every other time it has been nasty. Dry old chicken on the stick. I don’t even know if the orange “chicken” was actually chicken. They must have fired someone good after that first meal

2019-10-10They were friendly, quick and fairly priced. The food, in my opinion, is below average. Somehow the fried rice didnt look or taste fried. They did load it with veggies, though.
