I lived at channingway for a year, I enjoyed it for the most part. I had a one bedroom apartment that was a pretty nice size. It could use some updating. mine had peeling wallpaper in the kitchen and bathroom. I liked how there was a washer and dryer in the bathroom. I had a really noisy neighbor downstairs and she kept me up some nights with her partying and hooting and hollering, so the sound insulation isnt the greatest. I enjoyed the pools, one is in a bit worse shape than the other. Its sad that they closed off the hot tub instead of fixing it. Theres a fountain that im sure used to be beautiful but now its just collecting full of leaves and garbage and is probably a breeding ground for mosquitos. I probably would have stayed here but I got a dog and couldnt justify paying as much as I did to stay there.
I lived in the phase 2 townhome for about three years and to help perspective tenants I will give you may pros and cons about the place (based on my experience)Pros: good value for the money in terms of sq footage and features, washer and dryer included, reasonable utility bills, they do a good job of landscaping, staff seems friendly, plenty of parking available, the area is very quiet and safeCons: certain parts of the complex and townhome seem dated. For example, our building had wallpaper in the bathroom and kitchen, the gym seem dated and the equipment could use replacing. Not the most pet friendly place if you have a cat then you need to declaw it.Overall it was an enjoyable three years. I didnt have any major problems with the place. If you can overlook some of the dated aspects of the complex then its a great deal and the community is friendly. If you want a more modern or pet friendly place I would look elsewhere.
This was absolutely the worst apartment complex experience. 100% not worth the $750 a month to stay here! If you are looking to save money, DON’T STAY HERE. Unless you like hearing your neighbors conversations through the paper thin walls, or AC that feels like only a fan is blowing, or cheap windows that let air in during the winter time to raise your heat bill! Apartments were very cheaply constructed! If you sat near the windows, it felt like you were outside. I complained about the AC several times, and the maintenance guy came and “recharged the unit with freon”, but the AC would lose its kick after about 3 weeks.I could literally hear my neighbor’s convos when he was in his bedroom. STAY AWAY!!If you are military, ABSOLUTELY do not stay here. I lived here for 3 years and this company/apartment complex showed me no favor when my Orders arrived extremely close to my departure date. Because I was not able to give a complete 30 days notice, (literally gave 20 days notice), I was charged a full months rent for the following month. The property manager Krista, lied to me and told me that if I didn’t pay the money it was punishable under the UCMJ. COME ON! Why lie about something like that? Sure you guys could call a collections agency, and ruin my credit, but why lie about the UCMJ to try and influence me to pay? You would think that after 3 years of staying somewhere with no late payments, and no trouble, that they would work with a military individual on something as simple as moving out. AND THEY CHARGED ME FOR FRICKIN LIGHTBULBS on move out fees! ARENT YOU GUYS SUPPOSED TO REPLACE THAT ANYWAYS?? Is that NOT a part of maintenance?? Seems like they did whatever possible to get extra money on the move out. Good thing I have money saved up for money hungry property management and lying manipulative property managers!! If you have any questions don’t hesitate to reply to this comment/review. I will answer any questions I can, military or not.//Signed//Unhappy Customer.
Just look at all the negative reviews, the majority are all true. I dont even have to explain as to why this place sucks. If you want chronic health problems from disgusting carpets and poor HVAC/furnace units, unprofessional behavior from management to maintenance staff, and improper repairs of maintenance requests then be my guest and sign your life away for 12 months
My family and I just moved out and I will say we had a very pleasant experience. Only moved because we bought a house. The office staff has always been helpful. My neighbors ended up becoming some of my best friends! The grounds are kept clean and work orders were addressed same day or the next. Love love love this complex
Overall, I have enjoyed Channingway. The roads and parking lots are always plowed during the winter, the pool is clean, and the staff is almost always friendly. The appearance of Channingway is appealing. They do a great job with landscaping. However we, too, have been disappointed with the apartment complex. From terrible drains, broken and missing gym equipment, leaking sinks, garbage disposal that shakes the entire countertop, to the dirty siding of the complex.
I lived at here for 5 years while attending Wright State. Its a quiet neighborhood. Close to the university. I always felt safe and never had any problems with any of my neighbors partying or anything. My apartment was good size for the money. Rent increases are infrequent and when there was an increase it was $10 or $20 which was manageable. Grounds are kept nice and maintenance is prompt. I enjoyed living here. Overall good experience.
DO NOT LIVE HERE. There are much nicer, better run apartments similarly priced in the area. The staff is the most unprofessional people I have ever worked with. They are extremely disrespectful and are some of the most difficult people I have ever had to deal with. They try to scam you out of money for every little thing. I can echo many of the other things people have said. I wish I would had taken the reviews serious before moving in.
If I could rate this company less than 1 star, I would. Do not move here. They find a way to nickle and dime you at every turn -- if you pay rent just one day late its a penalty, you have to give 60 days notice if you are moving (who really plans that far ahead!) instead of the 30 they told us was policy when we toured the place, theres a $5 service charge on every water bill, and even though we moved in on Sept. 3, our lease didnt start until Oct. 1, so essentially we had a 13-month lease, which was never communicated to us until it was too late to do anything about. If we got home later than 7 p.m., there would not be parking anywhere near our building. The upkeep is terrible (there was part of a toilet lying in front of our yard for six months!) -- the luxury apartments at the reserve were probably nice 20 years ago, but today they smell like wet dog, have windows that you cant even open, the kitchen cabinet drawers are falling off, the counter tops are stained with who knows what, our dishwasher never worked despite maintenance coming out multiple times, the water didnt even run in one of our bathrooms. .. not what I expected when we opted to pay more for The Reserve. When we contacted maintenance, most of these issues were not addressed. When it comes to snow/ice removal, it was adequate if it snowed during normal business hours, but if it snowed or got very icy after 5 p.m. and before 8 a.m., then forget it. Maintenance cant be bothered to work outside their 8-5 schedule, so many mornings we had to walk through inches of snow or ice skate across a treacherous parking lot since we had to be to work before maintenance.Overall, living here was the worst 13 months of my life, and I would never recommend anyone live here.
Let me save you all some time and money and frustration. The Management has no idea what they are doing. Everything seems so nice at first but after a month you start to see the whole place is held up by band aids. The pool is operational maybe 2 months of the year if its not under maintenance. The hot tub does not work no matter how many work orders are put in about it. Your gate code may or may not work. Lights outside of the apartment in the common space dont work so you need a flashlight to get to your door and not trip up the stairs. Leasing office will tell me one thing and then maintenance will tell me another. There is no communication between management and anyone. I didnt get my lease agreement until 4 days before moving in and it is so stingy I almost didnt sign it. They will squeeze in any way they can take more money and have so many hidden fees. DO NOT LIVE HERE. SO MANY BETTER OPTIONS
I dont know what all the fuss is about. My wife and I have lived here for a year and love it. The management is very nice. They helped us when we were short on time when we applied, are always polite when we go to the office, and have made paperwork, etc. simple. Finally, we love our townhouse apartment. The carpet is nice, we are allowed to paint the walls, and dont hear our neighbors very much. The porch is also very nice.
I lived here for 5 years, and mainly enjoyed my time. I would have given them a higher rating were it not for an incident towards the end of my lease. I moved out 2 months before my lease ended (they have strict rules on breaking a lease early, so it was cheaper to keep paying than to break it), but received a water bill the month after I moved out for about $35. Throughout the 5 years I lived there, my monthly water bill was about $35, so how could it again be $35 when the apartment was sitting vacant? This event reminded me that about 3 years into the lease we received a water bill that was suddenly about $75, after years of $35 bills. I called to dispute the bill, and was never given an explanation, but received a new bill more in the $35 zone I was used to. Unfortunately, I did not get the same result on the bill after I had moved out. They said there was no error and I owed $35. I would highly suggest if you plan to live here that you take a picture of your water meter at the beginning and end of each month. I cant help but think something fishy is going on here.
They don’t care about maintenance requests. Moved into my apartment last fall, the A/C worked for 1 week then broke. It took them 1 month to fix the issue. Management’s response was they were waiting to hear back from the owners on how they wanted to precede. It was over 80 degrees in my apartment and unable bearable to sleep there. Now to begin the spring (6 months later) my A/C is out again, experiencing the same issue. Management said they can’t get to it for a few days. Also, management sent an email to all tenants stating that A/C is a luxury and not a necessity. In my opinion they really don’t care about the tenants, but they are all over you if you don’t pay rent by the 1st of the month.
Could be a beautiful place to live if it wasnt for the way the place is run. The fountain and hot tub in the Reserve are brown and they have no intention of fixing them. After a storm some shingles were torn off buildings. It took more than a month to have these fixed. Overall, theyre nice apartments but management doesnt seem to care about the tenants.
Just to point out half of the reviews below have never been tenants at this property. I recommend that anyone interested in this property to take a tour and come to your own conclusions. There are two pools on the property. They are open from Memorial to Labor day. Neither pool was shut down for as far back as I can remember. The hot tub was removed in 2008 and decked over. The fountain was vandalized beyond repair by a child of a former tenant. It was reworked 2 1/2 years ago and is now a flower garden with reading benches. *Note being a decade since the hot tub was removed... only a fake reviewer would mention the hot tub or the fountain. Exterior site lights in the common area are checked weekly. There have been no issues reported about the gate and it is working properly. No one in the history of this property has ever been charged a $1000 cleaning fee. The security deposit is $200 unless a tenant is active duty military and then it is waived. There are no fluctuating security deposits. Again, another fake review. The office is open 7 days a week. We welcome tenants to stop in and discuss any concerns.
BEWARE! The people at this complex will take your money and give away your apartment. Do not trust these people. I reserved an apartment at this complex almost 6 months prior to when I needed to move in. They gladly took my almost $200 for an application and deposit and showed me a nice unit that I would be living in. When it came down to the month I needed to move in they said oh we are sorry we gave away the apartment you reserved and we are keeping the money you gave us to hold your place. Needless to say on such short notice I had to find another place to live and lost almost $200. This complex is run by terrible business people, dont be fooled by the nice units they show you, its a scam!
Family and I had to relocate due to a new job opportunity. Whitney has been so helpful throughout the entire move out process. It has been very stressful and they have been so understanding and helpful. During the 5 years we have lived there, it has been nothing but a pleasant experience. Fast maintenance, beautiful community and fair prices. If it werent for the new job, Id never leave.
Let me take a minute and tell you how luxurious these Luxury Apartments are. Its 8/28/16 and 95 degrees in my apartment. My AC has been out 8 of the 28 nights so far this month. Six of the nights have been on back to back weekends. No AC is not an emergency so it wont get attention until within the next two or so business days. How Luxurious! We pay for a gate which is supposed to ensure our security, but its unlocked most of the day. Just drive on through. It was even broken and gone for three months this year anyway. No discounted rent for lack of amenity, in case you wondered. Even when the gate does work it doesnt stop anyone from parking on the street ans walking around it. Theres even a sidewalk to guide the would-be-thieves around the gate.Theres a hot tub that hasnt been fixed in over 3 years. It was on all of the ads/brochures/website when we moved in. Even then, management knew it would never be fixed. Sounds like a case of false-advertisement for a lawyer looking for a problem. When the hot tub got taken off the website, our rent went up instead of down!Theres also a fountain that is a breeding ground for Zika/West Nile/who-knows-what-fun-diseases mosquitoes. It hasnt been filled in two years, but has somewhat filled with dead/decaying leaves and rainwater. Theres normally some frogs in there eating some of the mosquitoes though. The exterior of my building is rotting. The foundation is cracked. The siding hasnt been washed since Ive lived here. The paint on the stairs is dirty/peeling. There are so many ants that no matter how many times maintenance sprays for them, Ive called three times, theres more within a week. There are not enough garages for every apartment to have one, and they are extremely expensive. A luxury apartment should have affordable garages, or at least covered parking. But at least the interiors are luxurious right? Wrong! The counters are all composite, and falling apart. They are crumbling so bad that the dishwasher fell out of the counter this past winter. Instead of replacing the counter, maintenance just found a less crumbly part and screwed the dishwasher back in. It will fall out again for the next tenant. The bathroom has wallpaper that is peeling, obviously. The wall paper was then painted over because its obvious that doing things as cheap as possible is most important to management. The carpets and linoleum are cheap and they look like it too. The HVAC is terrible, even when it works. In the winter set the thermostat 7 degrees hotter than you want it because the window and door seals look like Swiss cheese. In the summer, if the AC works, it needs to be set about 5 degrees cooler than you want. Energy efficiency is not important because the tenant pays for utilities and, someone living in luxury apartments clearly has extra money to watch fly out of the windows. Dont think that turning on the efficient gas fireplace will warm you up on a cold winter night, it wont. A hot shower might help, but cross your fingers that your water heater works. I know four different apartments that didnt have working water heaters this past winter, one of them mine. Took them over a week to actually fix it. The problem was that the pilot light kept going out. I reported to maintenance that, for the past two days, the pilot light fails to stay reliably lit. The first time maintenance came out, they left a note that said, lit pilot light. It died again that day, no surprise. Similar story with my coworker who lived there too. He had the common sense to leave. For some dumb reason I keep giving them another chance to make it right and they never do.The closest thing to luxury Ive experienced at this complex was the annual Holiday Party. The complex uses all the extra rent it collects all year and the staff buy a ton of beer and wine and drink it, mostly themselves.Save your money and live somewhere else.
The entire staff is absolutely professional and very helpful. The townhouse I rented was beautiful and well kept. The outdoors is a wonderful wxperience as it is landscaped beautifully.I want to thank the entire staff for making me feel very welcome and also showing the necessary compassion that is needed to run such a great organization. They get and easy 5 star review, I would give them a 10 star review ...
I had a terrible experience with this company. My husband and I were 1 month away from our current lease ending when we put in an application here and paid about $200 for the process. Everyone was so friendly face-to-face, which is all for show.We were told, verbally and in writing, that there was a discrepancy on our credit and once it was taken care of they would send us our lease paperwork to sign. This discrepancy was taken care of within ONE day of them notifying us. After letting them know it was taken care of, they told us they wouldnt not be sending the lease agreement due to the discrepancy and we could not rent through them. After speaking to a manager, I asked her if they were going to honor their verbal AND written word to lease to us, and she said no. When I asked about being refunded our $200, she also refused and kept our money. At the time I was furious! I told her that we would take this as a blessing in disguise and go do business with an honest company who would keep their word. Here we are a year later and it TRULY was a blessing in disguise. I have personally met people who say how AWFUL this place is to live. We ended up renting from a wonderful complex in Fairborn/Beavercreek, who has been nothing but great to us!! Keep your money and keep searching for somewhere else!!!
They will take away your security deposit for sure. Be prepared and do not give them so much money. They will not check the apartment with you at the end of your lease. They will simply send you a bill after you move out and tell you that we are taking your security deposit because your apartment was not clean! They might charge you a $1000 as a cleaning fee, it depends how much security deposit you have given to them, if it was $500 they will charge you $500, if it was $600 they will charge $600. So the cleaning fee totally depends on the security deposit you give them, not on the status of your apartment. Not satisfied at all and I do not recommend this place to anybody!
This is by far the WORST apartment complex to live in. i moved in november 2011 and am finally getting out. they wouldnt allow my HUSBAND to move in with me after i already lived there due to his credit score, and threaten to evict me if they found him there. they have fees coming out of their butts to screw you. for the price of living here, you could EASILY live in a nicer place. the staff are EXTREMELY disrespectful to your face. they have a $35 DAILY fee for pet waste if they find poop in your yard, yet people walk their dogs all the time && dont pick up after them, so youre getting charged for them. and we know for a FACT they have been coming into our home without any notice multiple times. i have heard them come in, my husband was SHOWERING and heard them, shut the water off && yelled && heard them quickly shut the door, came downstairs && it was locked (which he doesnt do if he is home). we had one dog die suddenly from some sort of poisoning 2 days after the first time they came in. DO NOT MOVE IN HERE. there is no break the contract fee, they will make you pay out the remainder of the lease. SAVE YOURSELF THE STRESS.

2022-04-21I lived here for 4.5 years and broke my lease a few months early due to buying a house. I had to pay extra fees for breaking the lease and signed an agreement to pay the charges listed. I left that apartment/town home in perfectly fine conditions but they charged me much more than what I had signed to agree to pay. They simply did not update their form reflect their new charges. They did not care to remove the extra costs. I used to call this place home, but this last experience gave me a sour taste in my mouth. Im very dissatisfied, disappointed in the staff, and will never recommend anyone to live there again. On top of all that, their maintenance was terrible. They took the easy way out every time and fixed things the cheap way. My dryer vent was clogged deep in the walls and all they did was vacuum the dryer vent and didnt remove the actual root cause. This was just one of the many maintenance issues I had.

2021-12-13So many maintenance requests were filed while living here. Our fridge caught fire… our hot water tank stopped working…The shower handle broke twice… multiple toilet handles were replaced.( I finally replaced the last one myself bc well it was a wknd and not an emergency ) our AC went out several times over the summer. In fact it was out for a long 90degree wknd that was unbearable. But the most infuriating instance that went on over 2months… it rained from the ceiling in our bedroom, on our bed! Maintenance response “ well you need a new roof but that’s not my decision” Thankfully this was at the end of our lease. (The maintenance request was still unresolved when we moved)After moving out-Instead of a I’m sorry that happened and how can it be fixed. We received a bill. Yes a bill for fees we “owed” to them.If you are in fact looking for luxury apartments this is not your place. Nothing will ever be fixed, it will be slapped with a bandaid for the time being until the new tenants arrive.

2021-11-17I applied with this complex and was emailed the application process by two of the team members. The information was identical. The staff member I ended up corresponding with (largely by email) was Julz Sikes. After submitting the application fee and holding fee, Ms. Sikes conveniently came up with the fact that I could not have either of the unit options I requested due to a credit dispute I initiated over five years ago. She claimed I refused to listen to her. WRONG! Ms. Sikes suggested nothing new for me to do regarding an issue that has nothing to do with the property. Ms. Sikes cant pursue what she thinks is money owed by me on behalf of the company, nor can she resolve the matter on my behalf if she contacted the company in question. Ms. Sikes went on to say that the company has a policy that states if a prospective tenant has a credit score of 550 or lower which includes late pay or non-payment, this is an automatic denial. This policy was NEVER discussed or shared in the beginning and guess who has a credit score well over 750.....Yes, I do! Using an old credit dispute from over five years ago, initiated by me was the an excuse to justify scamming money. Ms. Sikes would not send a full credit report as I requested. Rental scams are on the rise and people need to be made aware of ALL the tricks personnel like Ms. Sikes will pull out of the hat at the last minute to justify keeping fees/deposits. Why someone would deem a debt from years ago (that does not come close to the amount of the lowest monthly rent charged at this complex) is beyond comprehension. In other words, you are turning down months, maybe years of rental income for a dispute over a few hundred dollars from years past. Should anyone wish to see the email exchanges for verification, please let me know, I can forward ALL that I am saying directly to your inbox so that you can make an informed choice.Watch out! According to many of the reviews on this apartment complex, stealing money has been part of the this staffs routine for some years. Hopefully, you can get your fees/deposits returned from Ms. Rebecca Roberts, Accouting Manager.

2021-03-03When we were considering moving to these apartments, we decided that maybe all of the negative reviews were just due to people only review when bad things happen, but this place is not the case. The manager seems overly snooty to the point that he would rather make any little bit of money off of waisted time, and applications that wont get approved. We were given the wrong information multiple times and it ended up costing us over $100 for nothing but a headache and aggravation. If I could give them no stars, I would. LISTEN TO THE REVIEWS. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME.

2021-02-08PRIVATE INFOMRATION MAY BE AT RISK.. Do not rent from this place the management is reckless with private information. I tried to apply to this complex and it was a nightmare I was provided incorrect information and even tho I was approved far beyond their requirements I cannot apply for now 12 months because a policy designed to take youre money. Now naturally I left a review on this complex and the leasing manager replied by stating when you solve your credit issues now this is beyond irresponsible behavior with my partners personal information. please do not be a victim to a more serious incident and avoid this place indefinitely.Response to management: I do not understand why after I voice my concerns you continue to explicitly detail confidential information. This is the exact kind of managers I will always avoid. Further more I hold no ill feelings nor am I angry towards any policy or any individual in the company but it is not and should not be reasonable for a member of management to be replying to any comment on a public forum with personal or confidential information of any kind or information regarding an individuals acceptance or denial of a rental application or any other document containing similar information. While the party directly affected by the lack of privacy cannot take legal recourse. Revealing an individuals confidential or personal information is illegal including an individuals reason for denial on a rental application.

2016-10-10Yes it is a nice community - quiet and good location but not worth putting up with the management staff. Horrible communications of policy/lease agreements. Although I had attempted to contact the office several times when it was approaching the end of my lease they did not contact me till my lease was ending in 40 days but required me to give 60 days notice to move -- even once the lease had expired and was no longer on a lease but going month to month. I had the worse experience giving notice to move and then moving out and with my deposit. Trust me not worth it! When there are so many other options in the area!!

2015-05-21What most people say is true. You can hear everything your neighbors do, maintenance was slow, the ground people slung mud all over my car and side of apartment and landscaping was next to none. Also dont expect to get much back from your deposit. The apartment was dirty to start with and after taking notes on their paper about what was broken and dirty from the start they still charged me for. Go to Wexford on the Green. For not much more money you get a lot nicer apartment with people who know how to take care of an apartment complex.

2015-09-16Pros: The natural gas heat during the winter. Air conditioner was very effective in keeping apartment cold. Landscaping was clean and kept nice during summer months. Maintenance crew did a great job with snow removal. Plenty of parking.Cons: Garbage disposal was complete trash. Turn it on, and the entire kitchen counter vibrated. Told maintenance and they said all apartments have the same disposal and they will not replace it.Ants were constantly entering through cracks. Told maintenance, they “sprayed” and ants still crawled in. Ended up buying our own ant traps.Half bath toilet never fully flushed on first try. Told maintenance and they “fixed the issue”. It was still having problems.Front door had gap at lower weather seal which let outside air into the apartment, and of course bugs. Told maintenance and they “replaced the seal”, but still had air blowing under the door.Air conditioner was leaking water under the vinyl flooring and causing discoloration. Called maintenance who said to clean the floor with bleach. We called the Office and explained the crazy recommendation. They finally replaced the flooring and fixed the air conditioner leak.Apartment provided washer leaked randomly. Garage did not have electric opener and parking lot was tight for truck to back into the garage. Gym was outdated. Refrigerator was rusty and dripped. Dishwasher was terrible and leaked. At lease end, we got a bill for random ridiculous charges totaling $35 for replacing the wrong light bulbs, not having the refrigerator sparkling clean, not having the oven perfectly shiny, etc.Overall, considering it’s in Fairborn and you’re getting hit with senseless Fairborn taxes, you’d be better to rent in Beavercreek or Bellbrook. Maintenance team was poor at best and had no business fixing anything in the complex. There are other apartments to consider.

2017-03-01Compared to the limited options you have on a budget around Wright State University if you want a townhome, Channingway is a decent option. With that being said, there are a handful of cons that I should point out.I lived in the 2bed/1.5bath (2 floor) townhome for almost 2 years at Channingway (the townhomes not in the gated area). I moved to here from another apartment complex down the road in Fairborn (Ivy Manor), and Channingway was much nicer (more expensive too though).Pros:-Covered front porch. Spacious front porch that is covered to protect my package deliveries. Also room to have 2 chairs, table, and a grill. Great sidewalk for grilling in the nice weather.-Decently sized living room. I had 2 couches, 3 tables, 2 standing shelfs, and 1 TV stand with 50 TV in my living room with plenty of walking room left.-Central Air. At Ivy Manor I did not have central air (just AC unit in wall). I was on the upper floor and in the summer it would be 80+ degrees at all times in the apartment. I couldnt even sit outside of the room with the AC unit for more than 30 minutes without being drenched in sweat. Central air is a must and Channingway has it!-Maintenance is fairly good. They generally respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner. Only issue I had was that my AC unit had an issue on the hottest weekend in the summer, and it took them 2-3 days to fix it so I was sitting in a very very hot apartment for a few days. They definitely pick up their messes with their done much better than the maintenance at Ivy Manor did.-Neighbors are generally quiet and keep to themselves. I can hear some noises/loud talking through the walls sometimes, but nothing which has bothered me.-Area is very nice and safe. Nice sidewalks. Have never seen any sort of crime/police needed in the area.-Very close to grocery store (Kroger), food places (Hothead, Arbys, TacoBell, Wendys, etc), and gas (Kroger/BP).-1 highway exit from Wright State-Electric through DP&L and gas through Vectren. They arent terribly expensive. Trash/water is fairly priced as well.-Plenty of parking space.-Pools are fairly nice. The one in the gated area is nicer and quieter. Anyone living at Channingway can go back there and use it.-Yellow Springs is just a little ways down the road which is great for hiking and Young Jerseys Dairy.Cons:-After being a no-issue tenant for over a year, they raised our lease/rent from $749 to $769 for no apparent reason. There were no changes or upgrades to our grounds or townhome at all. Shouldve been no reason to raise the price.-Dishwasher is terrible. I still use it frequently, it is not good and is very very old. The dishwasher rinse-aide slot seals shut and isnt openable. The washer itself gets very grimy and dirty easily. Dishes do not get very clean whatsoever in it. Dishes are left with spots on them. The top rack of the dishwasher constantly falls off and rolls in and out terribly. It is very very hard to get it attached back.-Garbage disposal is terrible. It shakes, rattles everything, spits out water, and is very loud.-Paint on walls is quite cheap.-Kitchen isnt very big / limited counter space.-Nothing is really modern / new.-Downstairs 1/2 bath is extremely small.-Upstairs full bath is decent, but not very big. Limited space on sink.-For awhile I had issues with ants. I bought my own ant spray and traps and after spraying them for a few months they went away.-Blinds are cheap white blinds that do not work well and break easily.-Windows are terribly terribly cheap and do not open easily at all. The ones upstairs either fall off track completely, or arent even openable.-The sliding doors in the smaller bedroom are terrible and dont work.-Bathtub drain clogs constantly-Doesnt come with a garage (have to pay extra).-Limited storage space. Only 1 true closet.-Mowing company blows mulch all over our front porch.-Sidewalks do not get shoveled or iced in the winter.-Fitness gym is not goodOverall: Nice area, nice location, nice front porch. Needs an interior renovation.
