Beautiful, easy hike, park at the old stone school house. You take a left on the greenway corridor, & go maybe half a mile then the trail for the falls is on the right. It goes into a gravel mostly flat path about a third of a mile. It is loud despite forested area since you can see a highway through trees. There is a big hill though, somewhat steep you have to go down before getting to the falls. The falls themselves are pretty & although it is off trail you can go down a well beaten path before railing starts on right to see top. It was a pretty hike as leaves are just beginning to change. The falls do seem to be highly dependent on rainfall. Since it has not rained much recently, they were not as full but it was still picturesque & pretty. Lake Erie is nearby & Painesville falls. I have heard the greenway trail leads to some behind environmental learning center but we ran out of time.
This place is worth a look. Pretty cool. Dont be a bonehead like me and try to ride your bike down the path, unless you want to be crumpled like a cartoon with your heels touching the back of your head. The steep part of the trail is covered in gravel and looks like you could do it; then you slide on said gravel as you lock up your brakes and have to bail into a fence before you end up at the bottom of the ravine with a few missing appendages. Just walk- youll be glad you did.
The trail to visit the Falls is about a quarter-mile long and is off the greenway Corridor bike path just south of Route 90, so the Old Stone Schoolhouse parking lot is the closest. The gravel trail starts out flat but gets steep as you head downhill toward the falls. The view at the very end is the best. There are several park benches located along the way and a couple at the bottom for viewing the falls. Be sure to wear appropriate footwear as the gravel can be a little slippery on the steep section. You do hear a lot of car noise from Route 90 on the first half of the trail but the views are definitely worth the hike.

2020-08-30Ive been wanting to see Chair Factory Falls and I finally did it! The falls are beautiful! It was a tough walk for me, but I am so glad I went. If I ever make it back there, I am going to bring a sturdy friend to throw me over their back like a sack of potatoes on the way back up that hill! Thank you for the benches along the trail. Seriously, I loved it!

2021-06-22Its very pretty and worth the hike down there but it is a bit rugged and hilly. Might be too much for real little ones and certainly not handicap friendly

2021-11-23The path to the falls was easy enough to follow. Finding the right place to park and go to get to the path was troublesome. I wish there was a detailed map right at the parking lot to alleviate all the questioning I had to do to find where to go.The falls themselves is beautiful. The hill going down to the halls is pretty steep, just FYI for potential future visitors.

2017-06-14Beautiful its about a 3.5 walk from my house through the shaded Greenway Corridor. If we are not in the mood to make the trek we park at the Old Stone School house off Ravenna. Great way to end the day!
