We enjoyed riding the COTA transit bus (Line # 7) from Easton Transit Center to go to downtown Columbus. We visited the Short North & The Brewery District areas. While downtown we rode the complimentary CBUS and had a wonderful time. Great police presence on the bus to assist with the bums who think its OK to ride all day for free.
Its time that COTA adds some sort of light rail or streetcar because buses arent reliable and normally late. Columbus Ohio is the largest city in the US without public rail of some sort. I hope COTA and the city of Columbus realize that the buses cant handle everything and driverless cars will not save the heavy traffic. Light Rail and Streetcar is needed to further a city of transportation. If COTA doesnt, then Columbus will be left behind!

2021-12-24Hopefully with this multimillion dollar renovation the busy bus stops get at a shelter, sidewalks or at least something to keep travelers out of the mud and safe from rolling down a hill. Bus Stop: Hillard Rome & Renner:

2019-05-14If I can give COTA a zero rating on safety, I want to raise absolute hell on them as a CDL safety perspective. At no point when directing traffic, shall any COTA put their safety and their bus at RISK by chancing to pass by on a reversing CDL truck trying to dock between 2:30 PM and 2:50 PM. Your drivers put a lot of risk rather than yielding and waiting until clear to pass. Not one care was given and absolutely no excuse to any CDL operator, both A and Class B. 5/14/19.3 incidents occured during this time!

2021-12-07I havent experience anything negative except only when riders do not proceed with not properly wearing the mask covering their face.

2019-04-15Travel the city with the only affordable public transit. Taxis, Lyft and Uber are a pricey alternative. But if you like standing out in the elements, waiting 10-45 minutes for a bus, and getting nearly anywhere in the city after 1.5 to 2 hours on the sweat smelled bus with rude co-travelers, the mentally ill and the homeless.Hey, stay positive! It beats walking

2019-06-06Great place to work! If you are a person who adapts to change well, you will excel here as an employee. The hours can be grueling at times, but it will quickly change your quality of life.

2019-04-12Terrible regulations, busses often fly by stops without looking, they lack basis communication so drivers dont get stuck at road block. Bus maintenance/cleaning is obviously not important to them. They let drug addicts on the bus and let drug deals go down on them as well.

2020-08-26Left my bicycle on the number three bus Monday behind the YMCA, a downpour of rain caused me to forget about it. Meeting with the men from the Columbus Dream Center and Rock City Church feeding the residents that are homeless in the shelter.
