Retail Sales Consultant Adam Thirion in the Niles, OH location was very helpful and went over and beyond to accommodate us. Being there for an hour, our experience was wonderful. In addition to Adam, the whole staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. Anyone who has problems with other stores, you will not be disappointed with the Niles location. If I could give them 10 stars I would!
Re: AT&T store located at 5412 Youngstown Warren Road, Niles, OH.I walked in the store and someone immediately greeted me. The representative I spoke with was very helpful and knowledgeable. I was out of the store in less than 20 minutes with the new phone and accessories I wanted. The representative also put on a screen protector and cover on my phone. She was friendly and professional. I wish I could remember her name so I could include it. Another employer opened the door for me to leave. It was the best experience I have had in the store in a long time!
I first went to the AT&T store in Austintown - Austintown Plaza. Getting an upgrade. Service terrible. Made me wait way over 10 minutes to find the phone I wanted. Walked out because rep never came back out. He finally did running out of store, I was already to my car. I will never go there again. Ended up in Niles AT&T store, excellent service, sales rep was fantastic. All reps in store friendly. Got my phone and left and happy with service. What a complete difference.
Ive had no access to my account for a month. It was improperly set up and even though that person is no longer there, I still got no resolution and will not even see any credits for 2 months. And Im supposed to just let them take twice as much money out of my account with no ability to check what theyre billing me for and absolutely no access to my account. Hours of customer service on the phone resulted in them finally saying to go in and upon going in them telling me to call. Ridiculous.
Today, I lost my cool at this location. I’m very disappointed on how she handled the situation. I was in to see about getting my son’s phone fixed. We walked in and sat down. There were two employees and a manager and no one said a word. Just continued to wait on current customers. One customer needed more time to decide so the employee walked away and went to the back, couldn’t be bothered to say anything to anyone waiting. Just continued to ignore us all. Went back to the customer and asked if they decided and they said they needed more time. They needed more time and She still failed to say anything to anyone waiting or to check anyone in. Her excuse was that she was waiting on a customer and couldn’t acknowledge anyone. Over the course of the hour I was there, 5 other people walked in behind us. Not one customer that walked through the door was greeted. Not one employee took the time to recognize that more and more people were coming through the door. Very poor customer service. I could have been greeted when I walked in. I could have been asked the reason I was in and been told they couldn’t help me. But instead they ignored us all and I wasted an hour of my day waiting for NO REASON. I was told they were short staffed. Not an excuse. It takes two minutes to acknowledge a customer. Even if you’re sitting across from a customer. All you have to say is I’m sorry excuse me for a second, greet the new customer find out why they’re there and communicate that they will be with you shortly or what you need to do to solve the issue. BASIC CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS! This location has no customer service. If att didn’t have the better phone service in the area I would switch.
I have been an AT&T customer for years. ALWAYS had excellent service. The employees were always eager to help set up my new phone. However this time, I was seriously disappointed. The gentleman who assisted me apparently more interested in doing as little as possible to collect his paycheck. Going to give them another chance. If it happens again, I’ll be switching carriers.
No stars for Wendy, she was the first person who I dealt with in the store today. After telling her I needed to wait several times for the account holder to arrive, she got short and told me she was leaving at 5:30, seemed very upset I wasnt able to make a snap immediate decision and proceed with the purchase then. Thus was after several minutes of telling her I needed to wait and eventually having to raise my voice, that knew what phone I wanted, and just had to wait. Kept pulling up plan options, rushing, pushing phones I didnt want, would not listen to me at all. Sge waa pushy, rude... honestly Id rather play lets make a deal with a dude under a bridge downtown for a new phone than spend another 5 minutes with the lady.Manager also forgot to check me in once my stepdad got there so multiple people who came after us were helped first.5 stars for the young guy that helped me once my step dad arrived and for chatting / entertaining him during the sale/setup process. Was very thorough, had a genuine interest in cellular service and technology, went out of his way to check for items and got the job done. You were the best, 10/10, thank you!
When I walked into the store the young lady that was the representative greeted me very promptly her smile and her personality was very inviting. She was very knowledgeable, took me right to what I needed. Then explain the differences in the two products. I picked the one I wanted she looked up my account up very quickly. I checked out and was gone. The whole process didnt take but maybe at the most 10 minutes. I was very satisfied when I left the store and left it very quickly.
I would give a 0 if possible.Well I went to take a phone that my son got from his dad back for a trade in and they told me I couldnt use it as a trade in cause it has a bill on it of $900+ dollars when I was in there Saturday I feel I should have been informed of this, instead of being told that I would get $700 dollars for a trade in I just had to bring it back before 30 days.Also the whole time I was in there which was 2 hours the representative had no clue how to use any of the devices nor how to do any of the upgrades I had to explain how to work the phone to my son and the tablet to the representative. I have been a long time customer and feel that I totally got taken advantage of just so they could push out a new device and that wont happen again after my devices are paid off I will be switching cellular companies
I came into the store to upgrade our three phones on my account the rep was very professional and helpful the only thing I was kinda disappointed about was the fact that while we waited for a rep we couldn’t look at the phones to see what we wanted to make the process a little faster once we got to talk to the rep
The sales man Matt was very kind and patient. I didnt feel rushed and the whole group of employees seemed to have a great relationship w each other. The atmosphere was fun and light and everyone was very helpful and knowledgeable about plabs and equipment. I didnt feel, pressured into buying anything I didnt need and Matt was very thorough with explaining all of my new features vs the features of my previous phone. Absolutely love the Niles AT&T and I will be referring anyone I can to them. Way to go with this store. They are a huge asset to your company and they should all get raises. They deserve it!!!
Wish I could this location 0 stars and the fact that it is a corporate office is even more pathetic. Went in on 2/14/21 and the older caucasian woman and older caucasian guy working (they were not the only workers just who we dealt with) were rude and had horrible customer service,refused to help. At&t Customer Service had advised me to go there and they still claim they could not help. Could not exchange phones 1st they tell me I had to pay a restock fee and once I said ok Ill pay that then they lied and said they didnt have any phones. But I bet if I was coming in to add lines they would of had phones. This location is a disgrace they need to evaluate their employers and learn to hire people with good customer service skills. I did contact the corporate higher up and reported this location and both reps. Never will I go back to this location again!
Felt totally taken advantage of because of the situation. My husband wasn’t allowed in the store. At first they tried to sell me a phone version even older than the one that just died. Would not recommend this store. I didn’t feel comfortable going to other venues because of the virus or I would’ve.
This store is so horrible...I go there was next in line they took 2 other customers before me so I sat there almost a hour without help or being spoke to...Jill wasnt to excited to help us when she did help us wasnt to nice... sold us a phone never asked if we needed any accessories for the phone... I will not be back to this location... never had a good experience
Id give this store less than 1 star if possible. We had an appointment that clearly stated, via email, that we would have priority service and have the first available rep when arriving. I showed them the email and they insisted that the email was incorrect and that I had to wait in line behind d 5 other people and that we would need to wait around 2 hours. Whatever, we left and ran to target in the mall. Roughly 10 min after leaving we got a text that said to come back. We ran to the car to get back in the 5 min time that we were alloted to be back. Walked in the door 7 min after we received the text and were told that we had only 5 min to get there after the text. When I pushed again that we shouldnt have even waited in the first place because of the appt we made, the manager spoke to me in the most condescending way ever and told me that we were now at the end of the list again and that we now had to wait another 2 hours to be helped. We walked out. If we didnt owe so much on our phones we would have left this company in a heartbeat! Worst customer service I have ever received. ( also called 2 other stores in boardman to ask how they handle people with appts and was told by both stores that you do not have to wait at the end of the line when you have an appt.)
Staff is friendly. We had a couple issues getting our account all set up but they helped us out and got it all set up. They are knowledgable and make sure you leave with everything you need. They also open the door for you when you leave, which I think is pretty neat.
I was told false information by Janet my bill was not what she said it was going to be when I went to get new phones. I didn’t get the buy one get one promotion like she said I would get. I called customer service they couldn’t do anything. I have been calling the store for 2days they never answer the phone. I never had a problem with my service until I encountered this now I’m paying over 200 dollars for nothing. I think I will be leaving to Verizon!!!
Waited on phone for an hour to be told to go to store go to store sat for 30 mins and not one employee even bothered to check me in or anyone else. We all sat while we watch your ill trained staff fail at there jobs. Thanks at&t for wasting two hours of my as you say valued time .
This took me awhile to post. Just because it was so embarrassing. But I think I want to say something so maybe it doesn’t happen to someone else. My husband and I went in I believe the 28th of sept because I had bought the new iPhone max online. I’ve always had android and wanted to try something new. Well I’m legally blind so things are hard for me to see, and when I realized it I came in to exchange it for the note 10. The man who came to help us had such a condescending tone and says why would you want to get rid of the best phone out there ? I told him and the entire time it just seemed like i made him mad. I’m not writing this to do anything other than ask that maybe the guys there could be a little note sensitive to others. It was so embarrassing for everyone in the store to hear that. I’ve had conversations with two of the ladies who work there and they’re amazingly sweet. I’ve just been too nervous to say anything before.
We were turned away and told they couldn’t help us get a military discount set up without a manager present. Called another store and they told us that was false and to come to their store. They helped us with everything in a matter of 15 minutes. This store lacks appreciation for veterans and has zero people skills. If I could give zero stars, I would.
Store employees are 100% unfamiliar with how to do their jobs. Every time I call A&TT customer service and they tell me to go to a local, the employees at this store say it cant be done. They refuse to call corporate and verify.Managers are absolutely worthless there.Will never shop at this store ever
The customer service here is the worst service I have ever experienced. Im in customer service, and I understand bad days, but every worker present today did not want to be there. We had issues with an online purchas and Brad just did not want to deal with us. He was stand offish and rude. Ive never been impressed with AT&T, but after today I will never spend my money there again.
The rep added insurance to my account with my authorization when I already have it! When I confronted the store manager about it he lied to me by telling me it was impossible to add without me knowing. Was unwilling to make it right to my satisfaction. I asked him to give my info to his boss and he said that he would. It’s been almost 2 weeks without any contact.I would strongly urge people that go to this store to make sure they aren’t adding features to your account without you knowing. It seems like it may be encouraged.
The assistant store manager was such a liar. I agreed to get direct tv and installed he lied about everything said wed get $300 gift card, sports channel that I wanted, and I needed 1 box for 2 tvs. Then top it off we would get a $15 military discount. It was all not true, I was with customer service for hours

Not only did I get free equipment but she was kind enough to go over EVERYTHING with me!! She has a great personality and really knows her stuff! Janet was attentive, answered all questions we had, and went above and beyond to make our purchase/carrier switch super easy. My wife and I would recommend AT&T to anyone looking to go to a better carrier and the customer service provided by Janet and the other employees at the store was top notch.
