Well I have to say Im pretty amazed at the quality customer service that I received today. I was disappointed on the phone that they canceled my order and I couldnt get the phones that I wanted. Went to the store and was assisted by Erick and Tracey, Erick took over the help and was able to fix everything and get us the phones we wanted and then went out of his way to give us the best deals that at&t had to offer. This had to been the best premier customer service ever. The quality and performance was the best and they were so very friendly. These two people are amazing they deserve the best the company had to offer them. Thanks for hiring and having these two represent your company.
Dana has been wonderful! We went in for a phone and Dana informed us that my company has a discount with them. Dana informed us about so many options that we weren’t offered at another store. Dana was so helpful and wonderful to speak with while the phone was transferring and updating. Thank you for helping us so much Dana!
Dominic is AMAZING! I purchased some accessories online to pick up at the store. Once I arrived he explained that if I come in and purchase in the store I would be able to receive a 3rd accessory, same price or less for free! I was absolutely impressed that he took the time to explain this to me as well as walking with me back to the store and taking me directly back to obtain my 3rd accessory, Free! He was very polite, friendly and walked me back to the front door to open it for me! GO SEE DOMINIC at the Hilliard Rome Road store!
Dominic helped my husband and I get a great internet speed for an amazing price. He also gave us pointers to get on the next up plan, since it was not explained when we first got our phones. Dominic (and June) went above and beyond at their location to make sure we were happy customers! We will be back there with any concerns, as well as our upgrades! Thanks!
Jude was amazing! From the moment I walked in the door each employee I encountered was friendly and helpful. We came in with an issue related to an iPhone purchased on eBay. Jude was able to fix the issue and make some suggestions to our current plan. We did leave with new phones and an updated plan that we expect will lower our bill in some ways, upgrade in others. After reading other reviews I will be attentive to the issues mentioned and update this review if necessary, but my experience with Jude shows me he has learned to look into what fees I might encounter and what he was doing to avoid them. I don’t know if I will like all of the options I chose, so I asked many questions and have adjusted my expectations accordingly. I would recommend this location and Jude to anyone as well advise other consumers to ask thorough questions.
Tracey was a very personable and friendly representative. He was able to answer all my questions and show me exactly how to solve my problems. I had a very pleasant session and really felt more confident in using my phone. Thanks to Tracey’s assistance and concern to solve all my ATT issues with my new phone.
This place is horrendous. I knew the second I traded my phone in I would have nothing but issues. Jude helped me and told me I needed to change my plan in order to do my trade in. However I spoke with a different AT&T associate at a different location who advised me otherwise. A month later, my sister in law went in store and upgraded with Jude as well on my account. They didn’t have the phone in stock so he sent her on her way after ordering the phone to be shipped. The phone shows up and so does the first Bill where Jude had added $20 worth of features which we did not ever authorize. I called customer care who removed the features but told me I should call the store for a refund. I called the store and asked for the manager. The gentleman said she’s not here right now what are you calling for? I explained I had some features added which I didn’t ask to be added. He said hold on and muted me. He came back and asked what features were added? I said they added insurance and the early upgrade option. He muted me again and then came back on the line and said “all of our phones actually come with insurance and the early upgrade feature” which is a bold face lie. They are OPTIONAL features but Jude must have been working commission off of those features that month. The kid came back on the phone and told me his manager only has discretional credits: I said like what? He said upgrade fees. I said oh then why was my fee not waived when we upgraded in store? To which he started stumbling upon his words and gave me the number to loyalty and not customer care. Not a great experience. I spent 40 minutes on the phone between three phone numbers to get credited back for this dumb charge that never should have been on my account.
Came back after signing with Firstnet AT&T for Eric to set up new devices due to self- induced“dinosaur-techno incompetence “. We had issues with activation. Eric refused to give up. Eric worked over 2 hours with FirstNet to get all devices activated and set up. I wanted to quit due to impatience. Eric charged on completed task and set me on my way. Thank you,Eric for your grit and determination. Nice transfer to AT&T
Jude was extremely friendly & helpful. We talked about motorcycles & dirtbikes while getting me a new business line setup. He gave me all the discounts I qualified for & made me aware of other discounts I was able to get. Awesome service, I’ll definitely be sticking with AT&T for the foreseeable future! 🤘🏻
The customer service representative we had was AMAZING! She listened to what we needed and fulfilled our requests! She was polite and very personable. She made sure we had all the best deals, will definitely recommend AT&T to others, due to the fantastic experience I had today!
My experience at this location was great! Jude helped me from beginning to end in getting my phone upgraded and purchasing an Apple Watch! He was very knowledgeable and joyful to work with without being too pushy! He made conversation with me the whole time about similar interest (Star Wars, healthy restaurants, and work) to make the process enjoyable. I will go back to him for any further AT&T needs!
I had a shattered back camera and went to geek squad to get it fixed. They gave me a replacement phone but when I got on the freeway to go into work I realized the phone had no service. I stopped into the AT&T in Hilliard to see if the could fix it. They were very quick in finding someone to help me. Their person helping me when I was there was Jude. He was very patient and understanding about the situation and did everything he could to help me. Unfortunately they were not able to fix the issue because it was a bad phone but it was a very pleasant experience!
This is one of the slowest AT&T store I have ever been to! My recent visit was to upgrade my phone, and I was told that it would only take a moment. Cool I got time. Well a hour later still waiting and the customer reps, which this is the slowest customer transaction I have ever experienced. The store manger is no where to be found and is having her staff of two handle a room of 10 customers that have been waiting over a hour with me. One of the worst experience of team management I unfortunately had to experience. Don’t come here unless you plan on spending a day here
The staff at the Hilliard Rome location were friendly and knowledgeable. Jude and Dominique provided us with outstanding service. We were disappointed in some of the ways we witnessed other customers treating the reps when there were things they could not provide out of their control. Jude and Dom kept their composure and continued to smile through it. We were impressed.
This store was a blessing to have, Devin helped us in ways another store absolutely lacked. Going in with no expectations and a bad experience with another store, the folks at this location were not only able to resolve a hiccup with our situation but completely exceeded our expectations. Im glad that I switched over to this service and a big thank you to all the staff fir their tremendous help
Andrea and Devin were so helpful last weekend. They made the upgrade experience seamless for my Mom and I. I also appreciate how they kept themselves and their customers safe during such an uncertain time. They went above and beyond. Thank you both!!!The above was my review and 2 months later, I am so upset. I was sold the elite plan while upgrading my moms phone, being told this would save us money monthly. Promised confidently, that this was something we definitely should do to save. After trying to be patient to see if credits would take place, my bill is over $100 more each month and after being on the phone with AT&T to resolve the issue, I am told I cant do anything. So on an iPhone SE, I am paying $120/month vs $40. My moms phone line was tied into another phone line and the only way to fix is to come into the store or cancel her number all together. 100% disgusted with AT&T and $249 under because I of what I was sold. NOT COOL!
DO NOT!!! DO NOT!!! GO TO THIS STORE. STAY AWAY FROM AT&T!!! They will lie to you to get to upgrade lines. They added a line to our account that we did not ask for nor had a phone for and now it has shown up on the bill and tell us that we can not cancel it for 90 days because some how they attached it to one of the phones we upgraded. There is also a $700 rebate for the upgrade that they said we would not get if we canceled or get our phone back that we traded in. Their employees are completely shady and do not care if they screw you over.
I spent 5 hours in the store because the rep broke my phone, they did not wont to give me a new phone. Had to leave because I was running late to work not thinking it was going to take 5 hours at the store. Had to come the next day to the store. Still no response to them complying with what they had broke
Worked with Dylan on upgrading to the new iPhone 12. Dylan was great to work with and made the experience very enjoyable. Dylan was honest and gave us a lot of great advice during the upgrading process. Overall, first time visiting the store but given Dylans great customer service would definitely return in the future!
Amazing service from Jude and Dreya honestly were so sweet and helped me so much with my new phone I I’ve it thank you guys so much! UPDATE: DO NOT GO HERE they told me I would get a discount off my first month service if I signed up for a bundle deal and I wouldn’t be charged if I cancel it before my first Bell and then they charged me before my first bill was even sent to me and then when I tried to call them about it, they did nothing, still waiting to hear back and I still haven’t received the gift card I was promised for doing all of that 10/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND
If you want/like to be lied to or enjoy misinformation repeatedly; definitely go to this store… they’re about as far removed from customer friendly as you can find. All from the incompetent reps to managers defending those employees and lay the blame on the customer. I wish there was a minus 5 stars.
Dominic was extremely informative and professional.He was thee best associate ever, very helpful and broke down any questions or concerns I might have had and explained new service and sold be on AT&T TV, by by Spectrum.I might as well continue great service with a winning team.
This store used to be great. Ive been going there since it opened.Knowledgeable employees, friendly service, occasionally a long wait if they were busy.My trip yesterday was anything but. I simply needed a new SIM card. She kept pushing TV on me, even after multiple statements that I wasnt interested. Then asking me to follow her so she could try and demo the TV set up to push it some more, then another employee continued to try and push TV while she was getting my replacement SIM. Condescendingly talked to me when I realized I had numbers stored on my SIM I needed to move before replacing. She refused to believe it was even possible to store phone numbers on the SIM. Even calling out to another employee to confirm that Sims are only used for talking to the tower and cant store numbers and that I must just have them stored on my SD card. (They werent and the other employee also confirmed to her that you cant store phone numbers on a sim card).If the employees dont even know how SIM cards actually work and ignore me when i say Im not interested in something, why would I want to frequent this store any longer.
What an amazing store of excellence & amazing customer service! I worked with Miguel as he made this such a smooth process. After going from a bad experience on a family plan to my own plan in a breeze. Erika was amazing as well & I would recommend going no where else! Come to Rome Hilliard ATT store and ask for Miguel!!!!
We came into the store because one of our Sprint phones were not working and even though we have full insurance it was going to cost $200 to repair. We were greeted and taken care of right away even though they were packed. We didnt end up switching but the salesman who helped us was very honest and informative. If we ever do switch to att we will definitely come back to this location!
I stopped in today to have a consultation about my iphone that would not turn on. The first sales representative was helpful but not friendly in the slightest nor personable. She gave us time to make a decision then promptly proceeded to leave withut informing me nor her colleagues.I waited for 20 minutes for help before two other custoemers arrived, and they were promptly helped by the remaining staff. Sara began to approach my companion and I but turned around and began helping the other customer.After another 10 minutes of waiting, I asked both sara and her coworker why we were not helped,nor asked if we needed aything, or even paid attention to after their co-worker had left. They were very abbraisive and defensive and did not immediatey apologize nor try to rectify the situation. They immdeiately said well we did not know.When Sara did finally come to help, she was rude and short with me. Needless to say I took my sale elsewhere. The staff was rude, and unprofessional. In a hospitality industry if you see a customer sitting there alone for 20 or more minutes with no othere employee in sight, why would not stop and ask if they need help.With that experience I drove to the store on georgesville road and they were beyond amazing. This store could learn alot from them. Sara included.
AT&T service is actually fine--been using it as part of a family plan for years with very few issues--but every single time we have to go to a store, theres ALWAYS a problem. Well, weve only gone about three times, but were 3-for-3. Once, I went for them to transfer my info from one iPhone to another, and conveniently, they lost all my contacts. (The second time wasnt their fault, but was still frustrating, as we bought a supposedly unlocked iPhone off eBay, only to find it was, in fact, locked.)This latest time, my wife actually scheduled an appointment to have a new iPhone set up that we got as an upgrade through them. There was no record of her appointment in their systems, despite her having email confirmations saying otherwise, so she just had to wait as if she were a walk-in. For about 45 minutes. Only to find she wasnt authorized as an account holder, despite assurance from the account holder that she was, and that there was nothing they could do to set up her phone until she was added as a contact person.Forty-five wasted minutes, for nothing. And its like that every time: You dont just get bad news here, you have to wait at least 30 minutes for the inexperienced staffer pretending to be a knowledgeable source to even get to you before the actual process begins, whether it be a weekday or weekend.Again, Ive actually had no problems with the service, but Ive never once had anything approaching a satisfactory experience in-store.
I am an att customer. I have their uverse service their internet and cell phones. I went into this store to upgrade my cell phone after two years of using it. My phone is in good shape still holds a charge still works really well but I wanted to upgrade to the 850$ iPhone 6s+. I wanted to trade in my old phone and get just enough to cover taxes and activation fees 50-100 bucks is what I figured for a phone that was 600+ just two years ago. The sales man said it would be $50 I agreed to take that and he said he had to get managers approval to process it. He walks away for a minute then comes back and says they wouldnt take my phone on trade because if you squeeze the screen really hard you could see the slightest flex and that disqualified the phone. I told them if they werent going to do the trade that I wasnt going to buy the phone and they acted as if they could care less. They even went as far as to say let me get the door for you. Its a hell of a thing to have a company you give almost 400$ a month to for services act as if they couldnt care less about you over $50. Screw that manager and AT&T.
There should be an option for zero stars. This store has the worst customer service, they are fraudulent. We called the corporate office and they offered us a deal and she noted our account, the store told us they see the note, but they arent honoring it in the store!! We have a business account with multiple phones, they treat us horrible every time we go in. We have called the ATT corporate office and they apologize, but nothing changes. Dont waste your time! When you have an issue with your phone, they know you need your phone and they use it to your detriment.
I regret the day I switched from Verizon to AT&T. This store sold me a plan and when I got home, I realized I have very spotty cell coverage. I went to the store and they told me to call corporate. I called AT&T from the store, since I could not call from my house, and they scheduled a tech to come to my house. I waited around all day for a tech to arrive only to tell me that I needed a microcell which I could have gotten from the store. Why didnt the store manager just communicate that with me? I have hours invested in fixing this problem yet here I stand with a new plan and unreliable coverage.
Went in to get onto my new husbands family plan because it would save me 30 a month and I would get a new phone. The customer service said that the plan could have unlimited lines but in the store they said we cant and that the plan has hit its max. So after 2 hours of them trying to get me on the plan, it ended up paying per month the same as I had on my own. Then they said they could get the family plan on unlimited data for 25 less than what we are paying now. Come to find out(after we leave the store) if you have phones, internet and cable bundled they will take 25 off your cable but then charge you an extra 5 per phone and 10 per tablet on the plan. Well if you have a big family on this plan like us, the ended up costing us an extra 75.Overall we feel very cheated and mislead and that they dont really care about their customers no matter how many times they say I think I can help you and save you money here. Dont listen to them. They only way to save is to bundled things that you dont want and there is probably hidden charges.I will be switching back to Verizon as soon as I can.
Horrible customer service! I get my new phone and they hand it to me and tell me to have a good day! No helping me set it up, the features on the phone, account information etc... being a new customer with them you figured they would help but just pushed me out the door. Not happy!!
One star is too many for at&t. I bought a Samsung Galaxy S7. Paid cash so that I can use it with my carrier. However, getting the phone unlocked is enough to make the Dali Lama want to go postal on at&t. I was told when I bought the phone that I would have to go to a corporate store for the unlock. No problem, but the corporate store directed me to the at&t website. The website takes days to unlock the phone. Spend an hour talking to an automated system trying to get connected to a person, good luck without an at&t account. when I did talk to a real person, nothing can be done. I have a $700 paperweight until at&t gets around to my unlock request. Will I switch to at&t? I would rather give my money to support someones crack habit.
This store allowed me to get something on my corporate account but then when i wanted to return it they said I needed to have my boss with me. It wasnt a problem selling me the item but somehow its against company policy to make right on their error.They explained it that the salesperson who helped me out initially was out of line by allowing me to purchase a new item and that she would be talked to. Just take the item back. Wasted an hour to be told I couldnt do something but it took me 15 mins to get that same thing.
The customer service here was so poor, it actually compelled me to download this app in order to write a review. Talk about a terrible experience.Firstly, good luck getting the attention of any of the associates working here. I understand that they might get busy helping other customers, but how about acknowledging people when they walk into the store? Ive been here twice, and both times, I stood there for at least 10-20 minutes without a simple hey, be right with you or even simple eye contact.The first time, after waiting about 16 minutes, no one said a word. Then, after about 3 other people walked in after me, someone finally steps up to say Okay, whos next?. And then, people are fighting over the order. Hey morons, how about a sign in sheet, or having your employees actually look UP and see whos coming in?The second time, I got absolutely nothing. Saturday afternoon, walk in, wait about 20 minutes, nothing. Not a hello, not a single word spoken. I got tired of waiting and went to the Walmart across the street and got the charger I was looking for in 3 minutes flat.TLDR: the customer service at this store is non-existent. Good luck getting the attention of an associate. If the store fills up, be prepared to argue over who was next, because the associates sure dont know or care. Dont even bother going.
Absolutely garbage save your time and money they are only cons. If you want unlimited data go over to Sprint its cheaper. If you want better service and awesome customer experience go with Verizon, and they have really nice plans. And as far as tv why would you wanna lock yourself in a deal for 2 years? When in fact you can go with Time Warner have home phone 200+ channels unlimited high speed internet and home security at a cheaper price!!!!! Oh and did I mention with Time Werner its month to month only their home security is 18 months still cheaper... wish I would have seen these reviews before going and wasting over $500 dollars with these fools. And beware of Jill shes the manager she will sweet talk you right into everything she can will promise you the stars but at the end of the day just a big bag of CRAP!!!!!!
This store and its employees are a joke. Have been in there twice and left disappointed both times. No one greets you, and the employees do not even tell u there will be a wait. They ignore you in hopes u leave on your own. Georgesville Square will always be my home store now!!
Walked in and got helped immediately (I have never come in and not had to wait at least 30-45 minutes) salesman was friendly and helped cut my monthly bill (without me even asking) and still helpful even though I decided to go with a phone that was $500 less than the one he was trying to sell me.
Very bad customer service!!They dont even greet you with a Hello when you first walk in the store! After being ignored for about hour and still left frustrated. The manager was no better she had a very nasty attitude! Very short answers for my questions . More interested in putting up the Christmas tree!!

2022-01-30This is a really great store! I went there to open a new account for my business. The staff members there worked hard to answer all my questions and get me everything I needed. Anthony and Austin were the main representatives I dealt with, and they were both very knowledgeable, personable, and eager to help. The service here is far superior to anything I experienced during my several years dealing with Verizon.

2022-07-20I had to purchase a new phone last week and Ahmad helped me. And then the following day he assisted me again with transferring the contents of my old phone to my new phone. He was kind, patient, considerate, knowledgeable, and provided me with an excellent experience overall. If Ahmad is indicative of the other associates that work at this store, I would recommend this store to everybody. Thank you Ahmad!

2022-07-16Went in for a minor service, which nobody (myself included) was sure was even possible (moving prepaid physical SIM to eSIM). Steve took the time to give it a try anyway, and he got it to work! Really appreciate they were willing to give it a go, even if it might not have worked. Thanks again!

2022-06-05They helped us do what we wanted but it didnt go off without a hitch. It is the same as any place trying to sell you something. It took a week and a half to get us taken care of. To which it wasnt all their fault. The internet provider for their location is poor at taking care of them. They said spectrum was at fault. In the end they performed as expected.

2022-03-27Me and my wife was well taken of we felt heard and understood about what it was we wanted. We were informed about all promotions and other information that would help us. We had no wait. Mrs.ritafrye was our rep. She did a phenomenal job 👏. I would definitely recommend not only the rep but also the store.

2022-05-13The manager of this store really has his stuff together, runs a really tight ship, knows his products and company well, and makes sure he and his employees go above and beyond to take care of customers. Normally a trip to your cellphone providers store leaves you with a feeling that things were done just good enough to facilitate the nessecity of life that is having a smart phone, when you come here you can have absolute confidence that the best possible solution and outcome was found for you.

2022-05-31Ive spoken with three different representatives from this store and Ive received different guidance each time. Bottom line is that they arent trained or proficient in basic processes, and wont go the extra mile to help you. Just call the call center and dont bother making a trip in.

2022-01-16Hilliard Rome location- We went in to switch over to AT&T wireless. Every one in the store is very friendly and helpful. Ritafae was amazing and gave the best customer service I have ever received in a wireless store. Couldn’t be happier with the experience.

2021-10-05This store was AMAZING!!! Super friendly, super knowledgeable and efficient!! Carla is THE best!! My son needed a new phone and couldn’t remember any of his info and she was able to get him through it all!! Dominic was very helpful and let us know where we were in line, how long it could be, and what to expect. Overall, best customer service experience I’ve ever encountered and will definitely be back!! Thanks Carla!!!
