Carrabbas Italian Grill in other cities:
I did not even realize that there was a Hillard location until I attended an event there. My experience with Carrabbas Polaris location has always been hit or miss. This location is kind of a hidden gem. The service was spot on and the food was awesome. We started out with bruschette and mozzarella sticks - I enjoyed the mozzarella sticks but the bruschetta was ok. I love the bread and the olive oil with the spices. We had the chicken Bryan which is always one of my favorites. The house salad was good. The desert was Awesome they call it a chocolate dream and I would agree. We got to try 4 wine pairings (one with each course) which were will chosen and completed the meal well... yes, it is worth the drive to Hilliard
Consistently good quality italian food. I love that they post the calories for each menu item so I can make informed decisions. Their sausage lentil soup is the best Ive ever had. I get is as an appetizer every time. I also like that they serve hot bread with olive oil. The peach sangria is the best
Horrible customer service! If you dine here expect the Management to treat you differently based of your skin color! They were supposed to correct a incorrect order until they see you in person as less than a human being! They whole trash Management needs to be REPLACED!! The news will know and report of the Unjustified acts of racism I experienced!!
Visited on 7/26 and had the sweetest server ever (Leyila). She had multiple tables (including one with over 6 people) but was super attentive to them all! She kept our drinks full and was extra patient when we asked (multiple times😂) for more time to look at the menus (we haven’t been in years). We had such a great experience!!!!! Give this girl a raise!!!! She deserves it!!! We will definitely be back soon and plan to request her section!!!
The wait staff was excellent, food predictable and atmosphere average. Not as nice as Id expected as a first timer.Id put it a step under a typical Olive Garden. If youre craving some Italian you wont go wrong at this Carrabbas, just know the frills end at the cloth napkin.
This was my first time visiting , Got seated immediately and had a very nice server . I will say I think there items are very over priced for the portion of food you get . Ordered Lobster Ravioli and it came with like 5/6 raviolis .Don’t come here if you are wanting to leave full / have leftovers. For me and one other person we left spending over $60 and weren’t satisfied. Definitely would try Cheesecake Factory before this again
Thought we would try this place again. Big mistake. It actually got worse. I had the lobster ravioli. Sauce was extremely sparse, had to get more. The ravioli was hardly cooked and the filling was a little cold. Could not finish my meal. The prices have gone up and the quality has gone down even more. This use to be a great place to eat, not any more. Very disappointing.
Our waiter, a man with a beard, was so angry. He was yelling at our 13yo daughter about what she could and couldn’t eat, barking orders at her and the 17yo. We left right after ordering, they were so shaken and uncomfortable. My father stayed to correct the man. I have never experienced such an awful man in a service position.
I can’t believe how wonderful the staff I saw here!!! We have eaten here and ordered curbside many times. We ordered a special dinner for our grandparents 67th anniversary. grandpa isn’t doing well at 92 years old and is limited on what he can eat. The restaurant was extraordinarily kind and over the top accommodating us. Thank you so very much for the kindness and attentiveness to our needs!!!
Server was nice and friendly. The food price was high for the portions they served. My daughter had the mac and cheese and they gave her an extremely small portion, and it looked like mac and cheese soup. I ordered the fettuccine carrabba and it was a disaster, the pasta was overcooked and the sauce was extremely watered down, I feel like they had frozen it cause the taste was very plain. Well long story short, not going back.PS: I stopped at mc donalds and got my daughter a kids meal, so shes good.
Party of 4. None of us liked our food. I ordered the lobster ravioli. It was so strongly flavored of fish I couldn’t eat it. I told the server and he shrugged it off. He never offered to replace it with anything. My husband ordered spaghetti with extra sauce, needless to say there was very little sauce on it. He asked for bread toasted and he got it, when he was through eating. Terrible experience. The resteraunt was clean though.
All of the food is tasty, but is expensive and not filling at all. The steak was undercooked, but still tasted good, but I had the 10oz steak with mashed potatoes and salad, for $20 which was a ripoff, I wasnt even a quarter full. Wouldnt recommend this place unless your stomach is the size of an ant.
Our first dining out experience since COVID and everything was great! Service was perfect pace, food was fantastic and staff was very attentive. The hostess was so upbeat and welcoming, and the manager stopped by to make sure we were enjoying ourselves. They really did make our first night out special and we will be back many times again!
My wife and I went here to overindulge on carbs on the night before we start our diet. (She will stick with it, Ill fail in 2 weeks, but I digress...)It was the perfect place for this, because the bread they give you for free is great, and the carbs dont stop there...We had the Tomato Caprese with fresh Burrata appetizer which was really good -- a ton of halved grape tomatoes with balsamic reduction, a few bits of red onion and basil, and a surprisingly large, high-quality hunk of burrata. We each had a chicken entree, both of which were good (not amazing, but good). And we ordered dessert: Sogno Di Cioccolata, Chocolate Dream. It was everything youd want in a chocolate dessert.Service was also great. We sat at the bar. When we got there the bartender was busy taking an order from a table that had just been seated, so the hostess came over immediately to take our drink orders. And from there on out, everything we ordered came out very quickly.Overall, we were very pleased. This will probably be the first place we go back to when its time to cheat on our diets...
Food was great, took my parents in law, we had the Shrimp Scampi, Lasagna, Veal, and Tuscan Grilled chicken. My wife and mother in law split the Tuscan Grilled Chicken, with the side and salad they both agreed it was perfect to split. Ive been here a few times over the years and have enjoyed it every time.
If you think that their prices are too high for pasta.... I suspect that the reason why they are so high is that they are making that pasta from scratch. Their stuff is not dry, coming out of a box. In my opinion their pasta tastes very freshly made. It reminds me of Morettis on sawmill... SUPER yummy. In my opinion the food here is make my eyes roll back good!! It is worth the price (in my opinion) even if some think that they are a bit pricey. The servers are always friendly, helpful and nice. One time my order was a little delayed.... and since I do not have a poker face and I can be high maintenance at times.... the manager on duty did a great job making me happy and she gave me outstanding customer service.I love their yummy food and great service and in my opinion--it is worth every dime. :)
Food was good, but ice cold due to the delivery issues. I ordered through doordash, and one thing I don’t like about them is they always send out an order before being sure there will be a driver. So I waited a total of an hour and 45 mins for my order. I was actually opening up the chat to cancel when I was finally assigned a driver. However at the same time. The restaurant could see that it was taking a while to be assigned a dasher and they still sent out the same food.Having worked in a restaurant that’s one thing my boss never tolerated. If I had an order that wasn’t picked up after 30-40 mins then he always made me remake that order. When they saw I finally had a driver then they should have made it, I wouldn’t have minded for it to be remade and my driver seemed like a nice gentleman too.
The good: The food is delicious; the service is outstanding. The bad: Do not expect take-home leftovers. Aside from cloth napkins, do not expect atmosphere or comfort. Do expect a very costly experience.Four entrees (includes soup or salad and one side), one appetizer, 3 desserts, plus 20% tip=$160.00.I had Chicken Marsala. It was delicious, except there were maybe 4 pieces of mushroom on one very small/thin chicken breast. The booth we sat in is a wooden bench you might see at any restaurant, with a thin pad on the bench seat that literally caused you to slide off the bench if you moved the wrong way. Although the food was tasty and the wait staff fantastic, it was not an experience that would entice me to return.
The food was outstanding! We called ahead and were told we would have a table around 6:30. We werent seated until 7:30. Our waiter was ok, but forgot to put the extra shredded cheese on top of our meals. It also took a long time to get our drinks. Great place, but plan to wait awhile.
Disappointed in our recent experience here. The food was very low-quality. Everything we had seemed like something we could’ve heated up at home from Costco. I haven’t been to carrabbas in a couple years but I always remembered liking it better than Olive Garden but this was not. Bread was not good, service was fine. Food took over 45 min from the time we ordered. The only vegetarian option that was on the menu was not available. Just very bad experience, food quality was the biggest disappointment.
We visited the Hilliard Carrabbas last night at 7:00pm. We had call ahead seating. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by a very polite young lady who after giving our name she seated us immediately. Our waiter greeted us right away (Zachary T.) and was exceptional. He was efficient and knew the menu while even made recommendations for us. Needless to say the food came out in a timely manner and was hot and delicious. We will definitely be back.
My meal of chicken breast with mushroom sauce, mashed potatoes, salad was very good, and chicken was very moist and tender. Prices are a few dollars more than I think they should be. Youll spend about 30.00 a person on average. I will return but not too often. Background music was really good. Server Zack did nice work, attentive
As usual, wonderful food and warm friendly service. Our server Colin was new, but obviously very well trained and he did a great job. It was my sons birthday, and the restaurant gave him his favorite dessert compliments of the house. Another wonderful experience at Carrabbas.
Hadnt visited a Careabbas in nearly 20yrs. May well be another 20 before I go back. Appetizers are tasty but overpriced. Soup was cold when delivered to our table. Entrees were edible but not nearly as enjoyable as my previous visit, and also overpriced, particularly considering the small portions. Unimpressed.
We ordered two dinners to go tonight. Salads had nothing but lettuce. Chicken dinner ok but shrimp and scallops linguine vodka. No scallop so they said they would add extra shrimp. Only four put in the dinner total. I know this is not what you would get if were able to eat in.
This is a great place for some tasty Italian food and good wine. The wait was not long for a Friday night, and the service was good. I got the Pollo Rosa Maria which was delicious. It can be a tad expensive for an entire family, but if you are looking for really flavorful Italian, it is worth it.
Good food, service and a relaxing atmosphere. One downside is that it is expensive for the portions in general. There are some good gluten free entree options. Including fettuccini alfredo. No gluten free bread for an appetizer though.Wait times are generally good as well.
Decent Italian restaurant. Open kitchen concept, well stocked bar, wine available by either glass or bottle on some labels. The menu is complete with options for just about every type of dish. Steaks, seafood, pasta, all well represented.Service I have had always is above average. Prompt service, well taken care of without hovering. A very good balance.Biggest drawback is the layout. There is no room at the front so the front tables start right next to the host stand which is just inside the door.Overall a very good place that is worth it.
Food was good, and service nice, even though had to sit up at the kitchen counter. Tables that sat 6 had 2 people seated at them! Not just one but several. Other tables that were reserved stayed empty the entire time we were there. Could have left, probably should. Next time will go to a different location. Not impressed by front staff.
Decent Italian food for the price. Be prepared if you sit close to the grill. They cooked something that had a similar effect to CS gas. I believe the waiter said something about their wings as our table coughed to death through our tears lol. It was short lived whatever it was, and we got back to enjoying our evening. Staff was fairly tentative and very friendly.
Always a great place for a simple, but relaxing Italian dinner. Never have had a problem with our service or food and we tend to visit almost twice a month. Of course during dinner rush it gets busy in the dining room but the staff does a great job getting to every single table within a reasonable time and service.
The atmosphere was enjoyable, well kept up with as far as cleanliness, service was top notch. But the food was very disappointing. I have the fettuccine carrabba and the noodles were over cooked, clumped together, somet of them were chewy, others were rock hard, the food was cold when I received it. We were in a party of 6 and visited on a Tuesday evening at 6:30 and the restaurant was slow as we figured it would be. Not the best have had from here and very disappointed with it this time. I believe I have made my last trip to this location.
Very good food and a great value when you can bring home a full sized meal for $10 more. We were served by Alex who was excellent! In fact, it was the high quality of servers like him that made us repeat customers for the past year.Prized meals include Tuscan Filet which was done perfectly. Pollo Rosa Maria, chicken parm, and Lasagna. Each of which were amazing. If you like ice cream, the Bambini with its delicious chocolate sauce is really good too!
The wife and I have been coming here for years. We love the food, the ambiance, and always enjoy the experience. This is our go to place for celebrations and in general for a nicer than norm sit down dinner experience. The wait staff and management always treat us very well.
Good Food. We always enjoy eating here. But dont expect to get the advertised offers here. We have experienced this here prior too. They dont honor the TV ads here. Claim they are some kind of test store?? I think they are a franchise and just wont honor the corporate deals. But anyway food was good and the service great.
Carrabbas is usually very good. This particular visit was marred by the fact that our waitress was more interested in doing something other than paying any attention to our table. It started off when she excused herself when we were mid sentence ordering to go and stand by the food service center and chat with another waitress and wait for another tables food, while we sat puzzled as to why we were unable to complete our order. Our food came out eventually but after we finished our entree she realized that none of our soup or salads had been served...she thought it would be fine to try and stick it under our noses AFTER we had completed our entrees...I sent it back. There was food splattered on the walls in our booth so this was a less than acceptable experience. Maybe they were having a bad night...who knows. The food was fine (as usual) and our waitress was pleasant enough when she did pay any attention. I would just recommend you lower your expectations or try somewhere else.
Great service and great food, I just wish they opened for lunch. My first experience with Carrabbas was with my wife after we just painted our old apartment during a move.We walked in after visiting Home Depot, speckled with paint and disheveled looking. We immediately felt out of place due to the semi-formal atmosphere, but the server didnt seem to mind at all, he took our order just like he would to someone showing up in black-tie.The food was phenomenal, and the atmosphere was nice. My wife asked about the sauce she got, and was told it was Ricardo sauce, she loved it so much she jokingly asked to take some home, the server gave us a to-go container full of it for her. She used it to make a pasta salad! We have came back a few times and it is always good service and good food.
I really have been enjoying Carrabbas. This time I had pork chop sounds strange coming from Italian place. U had a your choice 3 sauces 2 put on your pork chop I selected wine sauce, with garlic mash potatoes and I love asparagus..Glass of BlackBerry sangria very, very good . And tiramisu 4 dessert Great way 2 end delicious meal.Dont think U would b disappointed trying Carrabbas. This is Thurmans Ave.,Hilliard.
ALWAYS fresh with a presentation that is spot on! The staff is attentive and genuinely concerned with paramount guest service. The operating partner at this location you can tell really takes pride in his associates and his establishment. Kudos to the entire team, job VERY well done!
It is amazing how much a great server can improve a good experience. We had a wonderful dinner at Carrabbas on Trueman Boulevard the other night, and Brian S. was maybe the best server Ive ever had. He was very attentive and made our dinner very enjoyable. Good job Carrabbas!
I was not impressed... First I love steak, but they put some type of vinager seasoning on the meat before cooking it. I was not told about this. That dont sound delicious and it wasnt.Second... anchovies are in a lot of there food which is fine. But please let consumers know in the menu and by waiter... which we were not. My date is allergic to seafood and she noticed it while eating the salad...(the dressing had anchovies in it and other sauces. She was broke out slightly.I would give them another chance but Im not getting the steak again!
Whats not to live about tasty Italian food that tastes the same today as it did the first time you had it years ago? The family style portions are great when youre with a group, but maybe a bit overkill for a couple on a date or without others. Most leftovers reheat well in a skillet.
Overall it was okay, food was delicious the service just wasnt as good as expected. We drove over 30 min for a nice birthday dinner, ended up having a not so good server, she did the minimum she had to. Dont know if it was worth the drive and the price for an okay experience
Utterly fantastic spaghetti! When I visit Carrabbas I always tell myself to order something other than spaghetti from the menu. But once I have that menu in my hand I become obsessed with ordering their spaghetti. They give me so much of the stuff that I take half of it home and get another entire meal out of it. Mmmmmmm! Great stuff!
Service was very slow, food was warm nowhere near hot, minestrone soup was not good at all had way to many potatoes in it and tasted really flat. The prices are way to high for the quality of the food.I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy.Used to be one of my top 3 restaurants.
3-16-18 Ordered a simple side house salad with romain lettuce, they brought a ceasar salad, brought back with a few tomatoes & onions & ceasar dressing. I told the waitress I wanted the house Italian and she said that was the house. I gave up, never, never eat there again.

2022-03-20My family came here for my husbands birthday dinner. We had a great time and the atmosphere was really relaxing. I loved the menu so much I cant wait to come back... there were so many unique Italian options! Our server was amazing. The lentil soup and chicken noodle soup were great. The two people at our table who ordered steak didnt enjoy it very much. They said the mashed potatoes werent good either.(which is why I didnt give 5 stars) The chicken dishes were great. I loved the truffle fries. Those who ordered the trio meals were the happiest because they got a good variety. We got a complimentary slice of chocolate cake for my husbands birthday. It was a generous serving and I got a taste of it and I dont even like chocolate but I would come back just for this cake! Compared to the wimpy scoop of ice cream with whipped cream on top from Longhorns we had for another birthday dinner this place completely wins for a birthday dinner. Their dessert menu was one of the best dessert menus Ive seen!

2022-03-31This order was Italian dinner for 2. Both orders were placed from the kids menu. The orders were both missing 1 item each. A grand total of two items were replaced with items that were not requested. The missing broccoli was replaced with mashed potatoes. The spinach was replaced with pasta. This filled order was not correct. Thus the star ratings were impacted. The food itself tasted good. The spinach that accompanied the 1 meal was well cooked and cooked. The chicken was moist and the soft bread was perfect with the crusted ends dipped in oil. Although the pasta and mashed potatoes were not ordered they were also tasty. I would place this order when I am dinning in to ensure my order is correct. I would dine here again.

2021-10-04I cannot say enough good things about my visit here. The customer service was off the charts, our waiter offered to help us with the menu, constantly refilled drinks, recommended items and said my pleasue after any request. My man did a great job. The food was really good as well, I ordered the Tuscan chops with marsala, fettuccine and mashed potatoes. When I say delicious, I mean it! Highly recommended. We will be back!

2022-04-14Great experience at Carrabbas, as usual. Samantha was AWESOME ! Tried one of their new trios; sirloin marsala, chicken bryan and, mezzaluna pasta. (Mezzaluna is a ravioli stuffed with spinach, cheese and chicken)Update 4/14/2022: Still a great place with great food. Wyanna is a GREAT server.

2022-02-15Food and service was good! We were seated near the pick up door. They were doing a lot of pick business, so the flow of cold air was pretty constant. On a ordinary evening probably not so bad, but tonight it was brisk. If you can request to sit to the right of hostess stand to limit this exposure I would recommend it.

2022-03-29Best Italian food around. Very pricey but the quality of the food is top shelf. Staff are friendly and professional. Great for a date night or special celebration. If you leave hungry it is not their fault. Portions are generous and the decor is beautiful.

2022-06-05Walked through the door 35-40 mins before closing, the girl that greeted us at the door was visibly annoyed about the time it was (we understood) we asked if it was ok or not to sit us and all she said was“well, I mean” while looking away. We felt super uninvited so we walked out, all she had to do was explain that it was too late and they were closing down stations or something, we’ll be back 4 hours before they close next time.

2022-05-10The whole family loved it. From the 9 month old to Poppa. Cody was a great server and my family will definitely coming back.
