Carrabbas Italian Grill in other cities:
As always great food, service, beer and wine. Havent been there since they change the dining room around and it looks great, way more open. Chicken Bryan is the way to go, and right now they have a trio special that has chicken Brian a steak and some pasta that is fantastic.
First experience was good. They have a Sunday Happy hour at 3 that I wish my waitress would have told me about before I ordered my stuff. I was a half hour early waiting on a guest. The food itself was good. You get big portions for the pricing. Drinks are made well. It was a good atmosphere, a bit dark inside. Id go again. The bread and olive oil are amazingly delicious.
I was so excited. The bread and oil were amazing with the seasoning. The Caesar salad was probably the best I ever had. I was so excited for the entree to come out, and I was beyond disappointed. Food cat fishing at its finest. I ordered the Fettuccine Weesie and it was absolutely horrid, how do you mess up Alfredo? No amount of salt or pepper could save this dish. It tasted like cardboard I couldnt even eat it so my friend shared her Chicken Parmesan with me. First of all we both agreed her mashed potatoes were not good, how do you mess up mashed potatoes Carrabbas? Literally one of the easiest dishes to make. The cheese on the chicken parm was a comedy, it was a perfect square like they just slapped a piece of deli cheese on top and served it. Over priced, just save yourself the hassle and go to Olive Garden which is right down the street from here.
Priced too high, especially in relation to the portion sizes and poor/fair service from the waiter. My party was only 2 people, who both chose the lower priced meals, and our bill was $55 😳. The only thing that I loved about Mt meal is that there was unlimited bread and dipping oil, like you get at the restaurant Bravo.
Went yesterday for a date! Had amazing service. We were told that it was a 30 minute wait so we chose to sit at the bar. Service was prompt and the food was timed up perfectly! As soon as we finished our appetizer, the salads came, as soon as we finished our salads our dinner came. Amazing service and a great kitchen! Everything tasted so fresh!
The food was good but the service was really bad. We had a kid named Dylan and he was so preoccupied it made the whole dining experience bad. I honestly have gotten better service at fast food restaurants. This would have been a great meal but the service was that bad that I gave it only 1 star - I never give one star ratings. The management was not paying attention - could not find one anywhere but there are a lot of restaurants in that area to choose from so not a problem
Wonderful service and my food not so much.... My medium steak came out almost rare, sent it back to have another one cooked correctly..... I could hear the cook arguing with the waitress saying that it was cooked to Medium...they brought me out the same steak recooked and it was so tough that I couldnt eat it... They did take the steak off my bill but I was so disappointed, had a dear friend with me, who I had really talked up the restaurant too and then our visit wasnt the greatest.... Not sure I will be returning anytime soon
If youve been to enough Carrabas around the country, youll discover that food quality and service are not consistent across all locations. This Columbus location is one of the better ones. Service was good and the food was freshly prepared in a timely fashion. Not the case with the dessert, it tasted like it had been sitting in the cooler for a while.
The Food, the service was amazing!!! They really know how to do the best pasta! And pasta is the most delicious food for me, was a great experience and the place is very fancy! High recommend. I really sorry because can’t remember the name of the guy who attended us, but he’s the best.
I got the lasagna so I could compare it to where I normally go which is Olive Garden. This was my first time eating here. The staff was pleasant and informative on the ingredients used in the dishes. The chicken soup that they have daily was tasty. The lasagna portion was good-sized and I think a little bigger than what I get it at Olive Garden. The lasagna tasted alright but not as robustly flavored as the Olive Garden version.
Good place with good service and reasonable prices. Prices are a bit higher than the atmosphere would suggest. The food seems to have been healthily prepared. Also...my nine year old son wanted me to mention that the kids spaghetti quantity was too small. Overall good dinner though.
Overall very satisfying experience every time I’ve been to this location. The staff is friendly and it’s a nice atmosphere. Went there today and it was extremely busy but the staff treated us good and the food was great. This is probably the best location. Only complaint was that since there was a recall on lettuce there were no salads available.
We love Carrabba’s we slowed down going after COVID 19 they took away all their special nights. So we went on a Monday few weeks ago It was awful the waiter was HORRIBLE NOT FRIENDLY. He did not communicate with us I had to ask for bread drinks and stuff so many times, never brought the second round of bread it was 6 of us so it went quick! HE DID NOT WANT TO WORK OR HELP US!! So the meal was a mess we did not talk to him about it, so I called the manager Nate the next day. I explained the failed meal the bad service along with the horrible waiter. NATE listened he paid attention to the details he expressed his sincere apologies! he said he would redo the order and we could come pick it up. He took the order I went and picked it up that evening, he had the entrees and the bread and butter salad’s with dressing on the side. EVERYTHING WAS WHAT IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN, NATE CORRECTED ALL THE PROBLEMS. Nate did a FANTASTIC JOB HE WAS PLEASANT & THOROUGH THE MEAL WAS INCREDIBLE that’s what it should have been on Monday. YOUR MANAGER NATE IS WHAT A MANAGER SHOULD BE and we APPRECIATED HIM FIXING THE PROBLEM. KUDOS NATE BECAUSE OF YOU WE WILL BE BACK SOON!!!
My wife and I went here on Friday for our wedding anniversary dinner. The server was not very knowledgeable about beer selection so they had to offer. We ordered our entrees my wife had pasta with meat sauce and meatballs and I had to lasagna. Her dinner was well worth the money and she said it tasted very good. I got a salad and lasagna the salad was not colorful very Bland the house dressing was very little taste. The olives and other things looked very wilted was not very tasteful. I got lasagna for the portion size it was not worth the money. I would come back but maybe try something else. I think I can get bigger bang for my buck if I went down the street to the hall of garden are they have a better selection and least consistent quality in their entrees
We love Carrabbas. Great choices and menu selection. Great staff, very friendly. This particular location is not in the heart of the shopping center so traffic and parking arent too bad. GPS directions may take you through an awkward entrance, recommend entering near the Texas Roadhouse.
Consistently good. I love their chicken marsala. I think their marsala sauce is exquisite. This place knows how to grill a chicken breast like no other. You wont get an over-cooked; tough, dry lump on your plate like so many other places. Juicy, tender, hot and seasoned perfectly. Can we talk about their bread for a second? OMG, fresh, warm, crisp crust, soft center. Dip it in olive oil with their bold, yet addictive blend of seasonings. They only problem is trying not to eat too much before the entrees come out, even then youll be asking for more bread! Salad offerings are limited, but good, and dont miss out on Mama Sicilys chicken noodle zuppa. Good iced tea here. Full service bar. Nice seasonal menu changes and specials. I feel like they just try to do everything well to give you a nice, pleasant dining experience. Competitive area for Italian food with Marcellas nearby and Olive Garden too. I prefer this one, my wife prefers Marcellas, both are good. We just try to mix things up for variety, but I am always happy to come here!
I enjoy eating at Carrabras because of the warm bread and the olive oil dip. We waited quite a long time on a Sunday evening. The staff appeared young and inexperienced. However, they did their best and I recommend having grace and compassion for them. The food was ok. Scott was greatHe tool good care of us.
Tried the dip trio, sauces were good but the alfredo was super watery. Bread was great and oil was good, very dehydrated herbs. Red sangria was ok, didnt taste much like wine, at all. The house salad was awful bc it was so soggy. My daughter got the sirloin, truffle fries (fries would have been great if not cold), and a side of fettuccine alfredo. Fettuccine alfredo was very bland. The steak was amazing. I paid 10 more to have a filet which was great, but honestly the sirloin was so good there was wasnt a 10 dollar difference for the sirloin. I also got the chicken soup, which was barely warm. I sent it back to get it reheated, then it was great. I wish the salads were fresher, the alfredo sauce was better and everything was served hot. A bit too pricey to be so hit and miss. There are too many higher end restaurants around with better quality and similar prices. Hope you guys manage things with a higher standard asap
Loved the food here!! Probably not very healthy but I got the Cedar planked salmon with cucumber, tomato, and dill and it was AMAZING!! Probably my favorite salmon Ive ever had actually... oh and eating bread with olive oil and spices while we wait for our food is always amazing ❤️
Food was not ready for pickup on time and I had to wait 10 minutes for the cold food I received. This stellar dish that looks like leftovers was $16.99 (not pictured was the soup that went with it that was good). The meatballs I ordered were equally disappointing, but I have no picture of them.
What a wonderful evening. Our server Alexis was kind, smiling, easy to talk to, and knew the answer to every question we had about the menu and drinks. Our food was perfect, simply divine. Drinks were quickly refilled long before we needed it, and the food was fresh and steaming hot. Even though the place was slammed we never waited for anything. And the atmosphere was quit enjoyable as well. My tiramisu floated out on a creamy cloud of mascarpone and coffee liquor... simply perfection. I could not ask for a better evening out. And my fiance was so impressed by our amazing service he asked to speak with the manager just to let him know how happy we were.
The bread is amazing. The spicy chicken soup was yummy. I ordered the spaghetti and meatballs with meat sauce. The meatballs were good but a little too chewy - they werent undercooked but maybe could have been cooked longer. I had to add some salt to the plate but the meat sauce was great and the spaghetti was cooked perfect.I would certainly go again. The prices are JUST below unacceptable so try it out maybe.
Food was very good; they were very busy and service was pretty slow, but pleasant staff... the atmosphere is a little odd, like an old Shoneys or something😬 definitely not an intimate atmosphere; noisey and busy as there is not waiting area so people kind of spill into the dining space while waiting for a table
We had lunch on Saturday at noon no waiting for a table. Great atmosphere and the food was wonderful, best Italian in the city. Our server was Deja she was absolutely delightful. She was knowledgeable about the dishes and ingredients. We never waited for anything she had it all covered. Will definitely go back soon!!!
Great service. Good atmosphere as long as brassy jazz and pianos are your thing. Appetizer and entrees were delicious and portions more than ample! Would have given 5 stars but the dessert kinda ruined the winning streak. Avoid the Chocolate Dream, touted as a brownie with chocolate mousse topped with whip cream and chocolate sauce - it was a 2 layer dry chocolate cake with a paper thin coat of mousse and whip. The whole thing tasted like a freezer that once stored garlic. But if you go with the cheesecake, youll be a happy camper!
Nice restaurant, good solid italian inspired food, fairly clean (breadcrumbs on the floor which is carpet) and the service was excellent. The access to the restaurant is hard given the layout of the plaza area, and if you miss the turn on Lyra, youll have to cross over the interstate and double back.Interior is a bit too dark for my liking, it was raining outside and the shades on the windows make it even more dim inside.Overall, still a solid place to eat, but its not $, more like $$ .
Horrible service! Our server Patrica was too consumed with servicing the table beside us. Kept trying to get her attention for refills, our appetizer came out about the same time our salads did. By the time our dinner came it was cold as if it was sitting under a heat lamp. Cheese was dried up on the eggplant parmesan, and the pasta noodles was not worthy of eating. Sad thing was, it wasnt busy to excuse the fact of bad service. Wont be back.
If there were zero stars I would rate this place a zero. Ordered 50 dollars worth of food, and when it got to me, my order was incomplete. What did get to me was oversalted and burned. I called the restaurant and since it was delivered to me they washes their hands of the situation. I called uber to try to get my money back, because I obviously was cheated out of dinner meals, and they never got back to me instead putting me into a loop of were sending you an email. Please if you crave Italian food stear clear of this restaurant.
We went there Sunday at 1:00 p.m. they only had four servers. Took about an hour and a half for us and one other couple in front of us to be seated. Took about an hour for the dishes to come out. Like a lot of restaurants that are low on help. It was a smell of unclensliness.... Was a little bit too dark to see the floors and how things were cleaned. But like other places Ive been too recently because of the shortage and staff Im not going back.
First time I’ve been. Let me tell you...If you want a juicy steak with AMAZING flavor, THIS is the place to go. I’m big on Longhorns and this place just blew it out of the water. Was VERY impressed. I had the Fettuccine for a side and I was just as impressed. Definitely recommend.
What a Fantastic Dinner tonight with Excellent service from our waiter-server Scott!! Very Attentive and Super Duper friendly with his Professional help and efforts....The Food was Amazing and Delicious with Incredible Edible flavor and Sublime Sangria too!!Vernal the MOD( Manager on Duty) got the full lowdown on how Happy we were as a 4 person double date dinner!!Superb all around experience!!!
The food here tastes very authentic and delicious! I had the best minestrone soup and eggplant parmesean I have ever had. The two star deduction is because of the carpet that felt sticky under my shoes as I walked, along with an unpleasant odor I believe was due to the carpet being so old and not properly or consistently cleaned. As tasty as the food was, I will not be able returning to this location due for these reasons.
Worst run restaurant Ive ever been to in my lifeWe called ahead while on the road because we have a family of 6 with 3 kids 4 & under. We called 25-30 minutes before arriving. They told us there was no wait with plenty of room.We get there and they act like they didnt even know we were coming. Literally, the hostess asked if a 4 top table would be ok before she reminded herself there was 6 of us and that we would not fit... The restaurant was almost empty. It was only 345p. She tells us we need to wait 10-15 minutes so she could clean a table then would text us when ready. We weighed our options outside and decided to wait instead of going somewhere else. 20 minutes later my wife had to walk in and see theyre still not ready. The hostess then rushes us finally to a table incredibly apologetic letting us know she was still new. We just wanted to eat but accepted her apologyThe straw was our waitress. Taking 5-10 minutes to get to our table. Doesnt introduce herself. Asks what we want to drink, then immediately begins walking away. I had to stop her to ask for an appetizerComes back with the drinks and no straws.Grabs and drops off straws then walks away again before we can orderWe already knew what we wanted. With the kids we like to figure it out quick and order fast to eat soonerOur waitress stood in plain view at the cook station talking to her co-workers waiting for our appetizer. I made eye contact more than once with her (literally had to turn all the way around in my chair and stare until she looked at us, couldnt be more obvious to do it) because we were ready to orderShe continued to stand there waiting and talking for nearly ten minutes... Not once did she ask what we wanted to eat from the moment we sat down. Not for an app when we got drinks (remember I had to stop her), not after she dropped our drinks off. Not after she dropped off the straws. Not even for 10 minutes after dropping off the straws while she waited on our app did she think we may want to orderShe didnt even have any other tables. All the tables around us were empty. And for the half hour we were there we never saw her go to another tableAnd that was itI asked for the manager and let him know why we were leaving. We had sat there for nearly 30 minutes total, she not ONCE asked what we wanted to eatLet that sink inWe went to a restaurant. Spent nearly a half hour at a table. And we were never asked if we may want something to eat...Not sure how any restaurant can survive like that.
The overall experience was good. The wait staff was attentive and the food was to order. My steak was prepared flawlessly. However my dining companion didnt care too much for her Egg plant Parmigian. Pricing is fair. The ambiance is nice but just slightly noisy at times. To be fair is was very busy that night.
There was a 45 minute wait on a Sunday night. The service was slow. We got our appetizer before we got our soft drinks or bread. The menu is limited right now but the portions were large. There was a mix up on the dressing on one of the salads. But they are open to the public. At the time we had to wear a mask but that might have changed.
Visit was in the early evening on St. Valentines day, arguably one of the busiest times of the year for a restaurant. Took advantage of the curbside delivery option. Despite this pandemic, the parking lot was completely full though spaces were reserved for pickup. Kitchen was obviously overwhelmed as we had to wait an additional 30 minutes to receive our food order. Curbside service staff was apologetic, courteous and professional. Our food order was impressively packaged, though incomplete as the appetizer was missing. However, the restaurant doubled up on the dessert so its difficult to complain. Food was hot, delicious, and artfully presented. Access to restaurant is a little tricky as the Polaris location is tangentially sandwiched in between a Texas Roadhouse and a Quaker Lube. Highly recommend, will visit again, and would have given five stars had the appetizer been included.
Absolutely the best Italian Grill in all of the Ohio Valley! I was visiting from Huntington WV for one of my sons appointments. We decided since this location was close to our Extended Stay Hotel we would give it a whirl. We chose online pick up ordering, but the aesthetics of the Dining area and Bar was a sight to behold! Very spacious and made to feel very warm and inviting. The staff were impeccable! So friendly, efficient, and professional! We were even offered assistance to our vehicle with our order! There are not any restaurants that I am aware of that goes to that level of customer care.I was impressed with the expansive menu and options to customize our order. I would have loved to experience the full dine in experience but I am sure this restaurant does NOT disappoint with the service.I highly recommend this location and give it the Dean Standard of Excellence Rating of 5 Stars as my reviews have come to be known for wherever I visit. I will definitely be visiting again in a couple of months and will make it a point to experience the casual dine in experience!
Its been 12 yrs since Ive been to Carrabbas, until my bday last month. My favorite dish was the Chicken Brian; which I was greatly looking forward to enjoying during my visit. I cant tell you how disappointed I was at the obvious decline in standards and flavor. I literally just created my favorite dish (Chicken Brian) at home and it was a vastly superior experience in taste and quality. I dont recommend this restaurant, or at least this location. I never thought Id say that about Carrabbas, unfortunately.
Scott, our server, was on-point our entire visit! Ive never had a bad experience when going to Carrabbas and I love the consistency in great customer service each time I walk through the doors. My fiance and I ordered the Cozze en Bianco for the appetizer (highly recommend this if you like mussels!)followed by a soup (him) & salad (me). My entrée was salmon with roasted asparagus and my fiance ordered the Chicken Marsala with garlic mashed potatoes. Both were incredibly delicious!
If i could rate 0 stars i would. the host with the orange/yellow afro is very disrespectful and rude. every single time we pick up a door dash he is beyond rude to us. other dashers i have talked to have said the same thing. his attitude is absolutely unnecessary and uncalled for. not quite sure how he still has a job.
We chose Carrabas, instead of waiting for Road House, what a mistake. We arrived at 7:45 and were promptly seated, they just forgot that we were there, maybe 5 tables were seated...the place was empty. Our server was polite and nice...no complaintsWe ordered mussels for an appetizer and steaks cooked medium. The mussels were fine, but our steaks didnt come out til 8:45.When the steaks did come out they were cooked extra well done, I think they are using the same cooker as OCharleys. They offered new steaks, but we had prior obligations and couldnt wait an additional 20 minutes. The kicker is that they removed the mussels off of our bill and not the inedible steaks! The funniest part was after we asked for A-1...he asked if the steaks were good...I replied You do not cover a good steak with A-1 steak sauce.I agree with the other post, I paid $4 for the marsala sauce and mushrooms...I think it was an au jus sauce with 5 mushroomsPersonally I think most of all chain restaraunts are profit over qualityNo need to send me a link to fill out, we are one and done
Very disappoint in their carry out. Ordered minestrone soup. What I received was a container that was only half full of tomatoes and juice of the soup nothing else no other items that belong in the soup. The soup is literally a mouthful and who wants tomatoes and broth when they order minestrone. My advice is to check your order before you drive back to where youre going. Unfortunately I was staying in a hotel and I was too tired to go back to the restaurant to do anything about it.
Carrabbas has definitely gone downhill since we had been there several years ago. We remembered them as an upscale restaurant with good food. The decor doesnt look like its been changed...very outdated. Service was also very slow and the fettuccine was cold. Dont plan on going back.
My wifes salmon dish came out almost raw!The Tiramisu was not moist at all....The Olive Gardens Tiramisu is much, much better. The only reason they are getting 3 stars is because our waiter was very good. However, the manager did not offer to remove the charge for my wifes meal, even though she got her re-cooked meal after everyone else was pretty much done with their meals.
This location was fantastic in the past, it was very surprising that there was hardly any patrons in the restaurant but then there was a line out the door at the Texas roadhouse next door. The inside seemed dead, several dirty table that had dishes and food on the floor. We had thoughts of drinking the drinks we ordered and leaving but Our server Mark was amazing and saved the day. Our food was on point so no complaints there. Mark deserves a 5 star rating all day long. It looks like the place just needs more staff but no fault of their own. You may do good to promote Mark, I believe anyone how can follow his lead will be successful and your location will rebound!
Wonderful restaurant! Fantastic service exclamation we came in with a group of 20 people and were immediately seated on the porch. The waiter was incredibly attentive but not overbearing. All of us enjoyed our dishes immensely. The prices were also very reasonable. I was quite impressed that they did not add an automatic gratuity even though there were so many of us.
The food was good, the service not so much. I ordered a $20 salad with shrimp and scallops and when it got to the table (10 minutes after the rest of the entrees), there were no scallops or shrimp in the bowl. It was a bowl of iceberg lettuce with Italian dressing. We couldn’t find the waitress for 15 minutes, so we politely asked another server if she could help. Her response was “I’m not your server but I’ll see if I can find her”....... I served for years and never would have said that with the attitude she had. I don’t know if I’ll return just because of how rude she was.
Johns platter was a celebration of flavor, service was great. Ask for Mikey he took care us food was delicious and serve as soon as it came up.Above was the last time we were there and didnt post however the review below was from September 21, 2021.My wife and I went after an appointment in Westerville, we went in to get a seat and were seated immediately. We were served by Abby, who did a great job. Our food again was out standings. We had a wonderful time. Thank you management and staff.
We are in town for my boyfriends birthday weekend & decided try out this restaurant for the first time on 8/2/19. We only had about a 15 minute wait before being seated. Our server, Andrew (name on receipt) was very pleasant & efficient. Food was pretty good, other than my pasta w/meat sauce being a little dry. Drinks, salad & bread were delish!
This place was an absolute waste of time, money and energy. We went here to celebrate my brother’s birthday and everyone left disappointed. My Chicken Parm had a long piece of hair in it hidden under the chicken breast 🤢 The server didn’t even apologize!!!!!! I’ll never visit here again! Do better!!
Our first time! We casually mentioned it to Mark, our server- he went above and beyond to sample us dishes we wouldn’t have tried in our own-but will order in the future! We love to eat out for some reason don’t have the best of luck in Columbus. We absolutely loved our experience here and will definitely come back to try other items on the menu and ask for mark for sure! Everything was great from drinks, food, service, ambiance- check this place out! We didn’t consider stopping by for years and I’m sorry we didn’t!
I had this food delivered I had appetizers main dish and desserts it was all so old and had no taste the dessert was hard as a rock the lasagna was so sweet I couldnt even eat it. The veal marsala had no taste dusted with something taste like pure veal no marsala. The calamari was dark not white and had zero taste this whole meal did not taste Italian at all will not order again. I spent $102 on this meal not worth it at all
Let me start off by saying the food here is amazing... Truly first class... but I was far more impressed by the staff and management. Everyone went above and beyond to serve our group staying at a nearby hotel. I was having issues with the GrubHub app and after calling, the manager offered to waive delivery charges and personally deliver it to us. I will absolutely be returning!
Got steak with marsala gravy which is a pay extra sauce. Was very disappointed there was barely any gravy on the steak at all. I asked if I could get some additional gravy by time it finally came I had ated my dinner. Our waitress never asked us if we wanted grated cheese on our meals. I was thinking theyd stopped doing it, later on noticed another table was getting grated cheese on there meals.
First visit to Carrabba’s. We had a great experience! Brandon was our server and did a phenomenal job. Manager came to our table and introduced himself and welcomed us and even waived our appetizer charge on our bill which was very generous and not expected! All of the food was great. Had fettuccini Alfredo, chicken Parmesan and Lasagna along with soup and bread. Shrimp Scampi was very good and come with a flavorful sauce underneath. Service was excellent. We will definitely return. Thanks for a great experience. Would highly recommend.
LOVE LOVE LOVE this place!! The food, service and atmosphere are always excellent! My “go to” is always the filet with fettuccine as my side (goes great together!). I always want to try something different but it’s so good that I always want the same! Wait is never long and it’s right across the road from Polaris Mall! They also have outside seating, which is nice when it’s warmer out! Highly recommend!
The place is pretty good with the food but the service could be better. I went during a slight dinner rush with 4 other people. The wait was acceptable at about 30 minutes. When we were finally seated, the server offered great service even when he was really busy. The reason for 4 stars is because we were served appetizers without silverware and we had to wait for someone to come check on us before some were brought over. This took about 3-4 minutes. The food was great except for one dish that came out cold when it was suppose to be hot. A little disappointed but was resolved quickly. When our party was finishing up, the server jumped into our conversation and was oblivious to the topic. I find the things he said to be kind of stereotyping our party and our backgrounds. All in all, the place was great except for the server. It could have been perfect varying on how good of a server you get.
We are long time customers of Carrabbas. We just ordered delivery and had a poor experience. Delivery estimation was 57 to 67 minutes. After 90 minutes without any communication from the restaurant I called and was told out food was ready but there wasn’t a driver available. So our food has already been sitting for at least 30 minutes and now I have to go get it. By the time I get it home the steaks are way over done, we didn’t receive one of our salads. Nine plus months into COVID you would think they would have delivery figured out by now or if it’s too difficult then don’t offer it.
Such excellent food AND Service. My wife and I were very pleased with our first visit. Could not be happier! Portions are spot on, atmosphere is very pleasant mix of fine dining and relaxed environment without the worry of proper etiquette. (Even though my wife and I both try!) We had Shrimp Scampi appetizer, Chicken Parmesan and Lasagna, Pollo Rosa Maria with garlic mashed potatoes, Cesaer Salads with fresh rolls, Bread and Drinks. Order these and I promise you wont be disappointed!!!!
Are experience at the Polaris location was amazing. Kenny was awesome and our meal was delicious!! He is a very personable man and knows how to entertain the guests at the restaurant. And did something he wasn’t even required to do, made us both foil roses. We will definitely return and hope for a enjoyable time!
This was only the 2nd time that I have been to Carrabbas and just as the first time, the food is AMAZING! What made this visit even better was our waiter Brandon. Friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. If you eat at Carrabbas make it even better and asked to be seated at one of his tables.
This is the first time eating here and it was very good! We enjoyed the mussels as an appitizer, wood fired pizza for the main dish, and great blackberry sangria. We happend to dine on Wednesday which they offer 1/2 price appetizers, $10 pizzas, and discounted sangria. We will definitely eat here again! The service and food was very good! Thank you!
I had a great dinner. I sat at the bar and the bartender, I didnt catch his name, did a great job. He even brought me fresh, warm bread when my dinner came. Speaking of that, I had lasagna. It was the best lasagna Ive had at a Carrabba. The conversation was good, the food was good, the service was great. I highly recommend stopping in sometime.
If you can, sit at the bar in front of the chefs preparing the food. Its extremely entertaining and I got to see a few new dishes being made that are now my favorites. Kenny is one of the cooks there and keeps the conversation and comedy going in addition to making amazing food.
I will never get food from this place again. Picked up an order for carryout and the young boy that was running the orders outside was very rude and disrespectful. I pulled in to pickup the order after giving the name and he instructed me to park in a handicap spot on the other side of the door. Only 2-3 parking spots closer to the door I asked the boy why and he instructed it was closer to the door. I was shocked to hear this and the laziness of the employee. I did move closer for him but not in the handicap spot that he directed me to as I find this extremely unexceptionable as the spots are marked handicap for people who need them, not for someone who wants to save 5-6 feet distance for doing a job they are paid for. When the employee brought the order out he rudely shove the order through my window and dropped it. Very unprofessional and hope they get better staff as this reflexs poorly on the establishment.
Food quality went down. We had an online order for pick up and asked for extra salad dressing and it wasnt in it. Spaghetti was dry and had very little sauce. They forgot the extra virgin olive oil that is given for every order and no utensils. Were paying too much for quality that wasnt there.
Food was reasonably tasty. Chicken Parmesan was tender. Table bread was quite good, and service was decent. Not sure I would recommend however as cost was high for the serving sizes, which in some cases were comically small. We spent $65 for three people, one of which had an appetizer for their meal, and one soft drink (two of us had water). This was for two chicken dishes and a shrimp scampi appetizer.Stars lost as we visited on a Monday, to find a Monday special was not being offered as the restaurant was busy and the appetizer station couldnt keep up.Cant really recommend as there are other local restaurants with larger serving sizes for the same price as Carrabbas, or lower prices for serving sizes similar to Carrabbas.
Our service was top notch. Our waiter, Kyle, was outstanding! We had 9 people in our party and we were there to celebrate a birthday. The food was great; I had chicken marsala and my husband tried the lasagna. The chicken was a bit spicy; it had some heat to it which was unexpected but good! My husband enjoyed his lasagna. Everyone in our group seemed pleased with thier meals. A great evening!
Overpriced under sized portions are not my 1st choice for ways to spend money. The chicken parmesan with spaghetti on the side was fantastic my kids very much enjoyed it. While it was a little pricey at just over $18, the amount of food justified the cost. The lasagna that my grandmother and I ordered at an extremely high price in my opinion, came out with a 3in by 3in square of lasagna towards the side of an otherwise empty plate. I wont dispute that the lasagna was great, it really was; however, for $16 I expected a more. This was my first experience with the restaurant but my grandmother has been there many times. According to what she says generally theres enough for two meals with the lasagna. Maybe we just went on a bad day but I know for sure I wont be back. The service and atmosphere were spot on.
I had a disappointing experience last evening at the Hilliard location. Thats not great when looking forward to a nice evening with a friend. So, Im updating & changing the rating since my last review from 3 years ago, due to an inappropriate/unfriendly greeting by the hostess who appeared to have a bad attitude. And, then she made another snide/rude remark when I asked if they could close the inside door because the cold air was blowing in on our booth. It seems the quality of some of the staff at this location needs a boost (or training).. This isnt a fast food restaurant & their customer service is better. My food was good & service was ok. My favorite dish.. shrimp and scallop linguine alla vodka .. is my favorite and is still yummy..
Better than most for a value dinner in the Polaris area. We visit often enough to say you have 80% chance for good or better service. It just that sometimes service is less than satisfactory. This can be true anywhere in the chain restaurants around here. We like the menu and the food is tasty and served promptly.
First time there. Ordered chicken parmesan and truffle fries. Also had the pork chops with garlic mashed potatoes. Our salad was not fresh. The garlic potatoes were old and salty. The chicken parmesan was served without pasta. The fries looked like fries from wendys with cheese on them. The pork chop was red after ordering it well done. Cooks were arguing while on the line. Very unprofessional!Ms. Haney
The best customer service ever!Went in for a wood fired pizza but their oven was down. The hostess explained the situation to us and suggested an alternate with no restrictions on price as they would cover the difference. Unfortunately when it came time to pay they were having trouble with their credit card machine. To help out we offered to pay wuth cash. They refused due to the inconvenience and cancelled our bill altogether! The food was excellent, the service exceptional and the experience beyond anything we have ever encountered. A great place to eat.
The service and the food were excellent. Five people, five dinners, two appetizers and two desserts, plus drinks-all served appropriately timed on a very busy packed Saturday night. The only disappointing thing was the size of the stuffed mushroom appetizer, only four!Everyone offered something different and it was all excellent,: The Johnny, The Classic Combo, chicken masala, spaghetti and meatballs, and the calamari appetizer combo.
A family favorite. While they don’t take reservations, they do offer call ahead seating that can drastically shorten wait times during the rush periods. Olive Oil with herb seasoning and bread are provided for the table. Highly recommend The Johnny which is a combination of the Steak Marsala and Chicken Bryan. The wood fired pizza is also very nice.
This was my first time eating here and unfortunately it was a little disappointing. We went for lunch, were given a dinner menu, and discussed the fact that there wasnt a lunch menu? The server was very friendly. After ordering a veggie side was informed later they werent prepared yet,so opted for no side. The food was good yet not note worthy. We had a coupon for BOGO as it turned out only good for lunch, apparently there is a lunch menu. They did honor the discount after informing us the regulars know to ask for the lunch menu which begs the question is there a secret handshake also?
I never write reviews, but I had to for this one. We found a roach crawling in our salad when ordering from the Polaris Carrabbas yesterday. Please, please avoid this restaurant at all costs. The best the restaurant could do was blame it on Door Dash, and say how embarrassed they were. No refunds from the restaurant.
We went to Carrabbas today for the first time. It’s my youngest daughters 21st birthday. Our waiter, Evan was phenomenal..... taking time to explain everything and answer all of our questions. Food was amazing! Drinks were great!!!!!! Dessert was a fabulous ending. All in all a great experience! We will be back for sure!
A great place for special occasion meals and everyday dinners. The two of us dont get here often enough to venture around the menu away from our favorites - Pollo Rosa Maria and Chicken Bryan. And we love the house side salad with creamy parmesan dressing. And we both recommend the wings appetizer, its delicious!
We were traveling from Michigan and stopped here for curbside pick up and recieved the best service from Nate! We recieved our food quickly and it was perfect. He also saw that we had a toddler in the car and brought us out an apple juice for her. We recieved Fabulous friendly service!
While dining here on Friday night I became very uncomfortable when I saw one of the cooks yelling at two female servers. I could hear him tell one of them to shut up and I did not like the way he was acting. I don’t know if this is typical for a restaurant and my husband and I were just able to witness it because of the way the restaurant is set up. I do hope some disciplinary action was taken but I saw no managers around
Went to Carrabbas for my grandfathers 87ths birthday. Food was amazing! Nikki was great and very attentive. My aunts food was dropped on the floor and the manager replaced her meal with a better one for free. And then gave her 2 free sangrias. All of the employees went above and beyond and we will be back!

2022-01-31Our family loves Carrabbas. My husband orders carry out from Carrabbas about once or twice a month. I always get the Chicken Bryan and its is so amazing that we looked up a copycat recipe and asked our son in law to give it a try for my birthday because theres no Carrabbas where they live! My husband got the chicken Marsala tonight. Hes more adventurous. Me? I could eat their chicken Bryan three times a week and be happy as a clam! Be sure to get their bread with oil and seasonings! Yummy!Carrabbas food is amazing, if your havent tried it, youre really missing out! Give it a try, you wont be disappointed!

2021-10-04We were up in the Lewis Center area this evening I decided to try something different I haven’t been to this place in ages. There really was no wait plenty of seating and it is a very nice place perhaps just a little small though. The wait staff was very attentive a little eclectic but still very nice. I did notice that the wait staff ducked out the side door for a quick smoke and came back smelling a lot like perfume but hey people I guess we’re going to do what people do.All in all the food was very good I highly recommend lasagna with extra sauce to keep it all moist.I did try the Alfredo which was OK a little bland though not really what I was expecting very creamy very sassy but just kind of bland.I know this place has a feel of a nice Italian restaurant and I would recommend it with easy access right off of the highway

2022-06-25Oh. My. Goodness. That was amazing. I cant wait to go back. Our waiter was great. On the ball. Grabbing out dirty dishes and refilling drinks. My only complaint was they put four adults at a small booth, meanwhile there was a couple across from us at the bigger booth. But food was so good.

2022-06-26Today I ate like a king! The free bread was hot and fresh. The house salad was just the right size and with adequate dressing. The wood fired salmon had great flavor and matched well with the side of spinach. I will definitely come back to try other dishes on their menu!

2021-07-02We had a great experience when searching for a night out dinner, and high grade choices with the family. Longer wait than I anticipated to be seated, however the waitress more than made up for it, and the staff here will do their best to not let you down. I had the chops with asparagus, and both were on point!

2022-01-17I get staffing is hard right now, and I am usually patient. BUT, this place pushed that to the max. Only about 25% of tables could be seated. Our waitress had at least 6 or 7 tables. She wanted to do a good job, but she just couldnt.Food came out about 5 minutes after it was ready. If you are going to have an open kitchen, you need to be on your game. Also, childrens menu is VERY small portions. My 8 year old who doesnt usually eat a lot even commented on it.

2022-05-11We visited Carrabbas for dinner on Mothers Day. Unfortunately our party of 9 had to be separated due to seating availability, but the hostess and our server were friendly and accomodating. The food was great! I love the bread with the oil and spices. I ordered the lasagne, and it was delicious. Of course, I had eaten more bread than I should have before the food came, so I took the rest of my meal to go and ate it for lunch 2 days later and it still tasted great. Our server, Scott was attentive and courteous. The Peach Sangria is yummy😋
