WOW, i dont deal with Carr Supply often, (im not a contractor) and i just got on the site to get hours and phone number, but have dealt with john since they where down at the old warehouse, but as a consumer i have had to ask questions about what i was repairing, and i have got nothing but great answers, and respect, i have no idea where these other customers came up with these negative answers.
Working with Jim is great they need more employees like him

2019-04-14I went in looking for supply lines for a clawfoot tub. Im not a contractor and was treated very well. As the gentleman was able to find and order my parts in a matter of 5 minutes. So they would definitely get my business again. Recommended!

2018-04-03Carr Supply is a good place to buy quality plumbing or HVAC supplies. Their company policy is to not sell to homeowners, they are in business to supply contractors with quality supplies. They do not have time to explain homeowners how to do a project, if that is what you need then go to Lowes or GR Smith Hardware. If you are a professional or contractor they will set up an account for you to purchase supplies. The reason they dont sell directly to you homeowners, is to protect us contractors, which I like about Carr Supply.

2017-04-12If your a contractor youre treated with respect and courtesy. Visited twice as a do it yourself customer and received rude, unfriendly service. Observered on both visits local contractors come in and get a completely different level of service. Discussed my experience with a few other locals and they stated theyve had the same experience. Great selection and prices, at least two staff members need a class on customer service. Working in customer service I have no patients for rude people working in a customer service roll.

2017-06-06I would rather purchase from Carr Supply than Lowes any day. The Carr staff is knowledgeable and friendly. I took issue with the Justin Small comment directly because he did not directly deal with Mr Parker before hitting the internet. What ever happened to asking someone if they were having a bad day or working on a tough project? Same with the other negative comment. Contractors have a rapport with the staff because they go in there all the time, perhaps?

2020-02-21Thanks to John, and Kevin. Always saving me money, Needed a part for my Mercedes Benz, 60 dollars at the dealership, 3.47 at Carr Supply. Amazing fix, now I have a copper part, and not 60 dollar plastic. I will only shop with you for all my plumbing, and Mercedes parts. Thanks again.

2018-02-23I came in to get pricing for a private well system. The salesman sort of smirked and said, we dont sell to homeowners, company policy which I found to be rude. I cant believe a guy who the ODH approves to install a well system cant walk into a place that sells them and buy one. I figured Id pay a little more to get quality materials from a local supplier, but I guess it cant be done.

2019-11-18One star is too many. I went in looking for a simple item and the guy at the counter was on the phone with someone else, being excessively rude to them. This already turned me off but I kept looking, eventually going to the counter and waiting for help. After being off the phone and ignoring me for several minutes he asked what i needed. Showed him, he instantly said nope we dont have it and he doesnt have time to look for it. Then he said the best he could do is take my name and number and when he has time in his day he would look for it and let me know. This is the second time the customer service has been terrible here! Went to the local hardware store and found what I needed in 5 minutes! I will not be returning to this store nor will i ever recommend it! Customer serivce sucks!

2017-06-05Worst place ever! John I think is the manager, worst person on the face of the planet, all I can think is he has been there to long and is burnt out. You would think I asked him for a kidney the way I was treated. I Will never go back, and will tell my friend who ownes a new construction plumbing company about my experience and he should go elsewhere for his supplies!
