Area is nice, the townhomes are nice and me and my wife really wanted to move there but tenant screening is to Harsh..got denied for 2 reasons..I cant get ahold of them to find out what screen company they use so I can contact and figure out whats on my record..only thing I can think of something petty from 14 years ago a 4th degree misdemeanor which is a fine and eviction from 9 years ago which both are past the 7 year mark..only thing on my record..never had a problem finding a place until now I cant get ahold of anybody from the office

I lived there for almost 2 years and I wouldnt recommend this place to my enemy - hmmm maybe an enemy. Here are my issues with the place: 1) the rent is high for a 2 bedroom 1.5 bath apartment 2. the water bill is based on the number of people on your lease not on usage. There is never a true-up at the end of the year. We were away during the month of August and still had a $75 water bill. 3. there is a $20 late fee for the community water bill 4. Parking is ridiculous if you arrive after dark. 5. there is a plumbing issue- slow drains and water activity heard often. 6. refrigerator/freezer is small. If these issues dont bother you, feel free to move in. But if you are in a position to purchase a home, I would suggest spending $925 on your home rather Barringtons bottom line. Just saying.....

I moved in during a time when Carnaby Village was well run. In the past 2 years rent has gone up twice. While still affordable the overall experience of living in this property has gotten a lot worst. My vehicle has been broken into 3 times my neighbors more than mine her unit was also broken into. The parking is horrible instead of assigning spots they passed out these ridiculous novice laminated parking passes. They are very tacky and this has to be displayed in your vehicle. The Manager Alisa is extremely egocentric and very difficult to deal with. The other person in the office never knows what’s going on and always says she has to ask the property manager... well she is never there. The rental office never opens on time. The furnaces, A/C unit and windows are very old. The windows are so drafty that my curtains move while the windows are closed. The property was well managed by the previous management company. I have stayed for the location but I MUST GO NOW!

Carnaby has been great since I have been here in June 2013. The staff is great, they actually care. Parking sometimes is a pain, but its like that almost anywhere now. I know when I come home, I am coming home to a safe environment and my kids can play safely. The upgrades they have done have really changed the look and feel of the old building. I see improvements happening and am excited to see what this next year brings.

Entire staff very friendly and professional especially Alisa and Mica. Love them all. Wish there were more individuals in the maintenance group. Grounds always clean. Safe and convenient place to live. Close to shopping, eateries, and freeway.

No dont want any cheese and crackers for the whine... Price is little much but Love the space you cant beat it. The staff has always been professional with me (like that about any business I deal with.)Yeah it is a little drafty in some spots but you can winterize your town home for about ten bucks. I will review my experience again soon. Oh Yeah,alot of good pets w/bad humans. And now we alot of neighbors the dont respect the neighborhood they live in ...come on this was not considered the a bad place to live. Dont make it that way because you moved here.

Ok first and foremost the parking sucks. alot!!!if you get home any later than eight be prepared for a hike. if you bring it up to the office they will just tell you some crap about enforcing new parking passes, but there will be no progress. i work second shift so when i get home half the time i end up parking in the empty lot beside outback steakhouse because it is the closest empty spot. secondly when dealing with office on any matter be prepared for excuses and empty promises and poor attitude. for example if you happen to have a neighbor who parties loudly every night dontt expect them to do anything about it despite multiple complaints from different people. lastly the maintainence guys are pretty awful at their job, that is if they make it out at all. my shower and stove have been broke for about 6 months now. ive lived here for 2 years now and couldnt be more excited to leave.

I dont live here anymore, but i wish i did. We requested they put in hard wood laminate in our entire first floor and they did! It turned out beautiful. The staff was nice and personable. My only issue was they didnt have enough maintenance staff and the parking was horrible. Other than that they were great apts to live in.

Lived there 10 years seen alot some good some bad liked the staff for the most part went through a lot of management and maintenance the property was good but has gone down a bit since 2007 needed to improve on housing things like leaking eaves spouting leaking basements and cracked ceramic flooring most of all windows and all the noisy partying from neighbors. Had some issues at the end but there trying to persecute me know after 10 years which I fixed alot of stuff on my own with no regret but dosent me anything I guess.alot of different stuff went down which I wont mention unless they wont me to this is my long experience

Nice nd convenient place to live, close to most shoppings nd a quarter mile of the 270 interstate...... Havent had any problems since been here, every one stays with their own lane
