Food is always good and hot and warm ready to go
Extremely well made food. Super good Jerk Chicken!! A little investment in presentation of the place and the food will make this place a gem. However, if you are looking for good homemade Caribbean food look no further
It’s too bad that they don’t want to trust you to place an advanced order. Too many prank orders. Nonetheless, the business owner has terrible customer service attitude.
Food was not good. Also I ordered pepper steak that didnt have 1 pepper in it.
Oh My God!!!!!!! I will never eat here again..... I should of known.... he didnt show me the food and was quick to get my money. I come from a back ground of Caribbean people in my family. My mom is jamacian , Puerto rican and Brazilian. She makes all this food. Please dont go to this restaurant the food isnt right. I will post pictures to show...the food I got. I guess the guy who serve me the food didnt know I knew.....he was being slick or thought I was stupid or ignorant to how this food was suppose to be cooked... I dont care about the price just give me some good and quality food. I end up throwing the food away. It was that awful. I will make sure everyone knows not to go there ever. He should be ashamed of himself. I been to a couple of jamacian resturants here in Columbus, Ohio...not one of those are bad... This one Caribbean corner is nasty and they dont serve you what you asked for. I was so upset. Ive learned just to go home and make it my damn self...It wont be no complains. Got to the restaurant, not a soul in sight. Went to the order window to see no one standing there until I spoke. Some guy rise out of a chair, looking really suspicious (staring at my hands) and the food I got wasnt fresh at all. A little over cooked, just sitting in heat until someone came to ask about it I assume?
Got brown stew chicken, I asked for just brown stew chicken and stem rice ( only) after paying $10.00 I was given brown stew chicken, rice and peas and cabbage... i dont like beans or cabbage... they have a sign that says no exchange and no refunds the brown stew chicken i could have done way better and it was a waste of my time and money..!!
Listen to the reviews. They water down the jerk sauce in the jerk chicken and the meat taste like the grill isn’t clean.
Jerk chicken wasnt bad ... Ill be back to try another dish though! Was to late for the snapper!!!

They had nothing cooking and when u goes in there didnt smell food. After ordering my food. He went into the freezer, got the food heated it up then put in plastic containers. Worst I ever had
Great jerk chicken and freshly made plantains. I love discovering new places and to know there is a place to get Jamaican food so close to Bexley makes me a happy person.
I will not be bk nasty just nasty not authentictic at all taste like dog food. Glad it was a date. I bet I will never order from them again.

2022-04-01Ive never been to a Caribbean restaurant that serves sweet oxtail! I feel like I was eating a bowl of Lucky charms. I thought It was supposed to be savory not sweet. the cabbage taste like cabbage and the red beans and rice was red beans rice but the oxtails though...... The oxtails was sweet for whatever reason I just dont understand. I knew it was a red sign because they had a sign on the window saying no refunds or exchange so other people had to be complaining about the food too. It was absolutely disgusting I would have never eaten it if somebody gave it to me for free. I was still hungry so I went to Rallys to get me some food because this food was extremely too sweet after three bites he had my head hurting.

2021-10-23Worse Caribbean food I ever eat. The food was tasteless. I ordered Oxtail with rice and beans my friend ordered jerk chicken with rice n beans but the food doesn’t look like what we ordered. The Oxtail n chicken looks like it been kept in the refrigerator for two weeks. After eating the food, I felt like throwing up. I eat Caribbean food most of the time n never got this bad experience like the food I ate today😤🥶🥶👎👎👎👎👎 I RECOMMEND YOU NOT TO GO TO THIS RESTAURANT IF U WANT GOOD CARIBBEAN FOOD.

2021-10-27I ordered curry chicken which I usually dont get curry from Jamaican spots, but the food was scorched and had that taste. I was upset because it was late and I only realized how bad it was once I had left the area. I wouldnt waste your time here. The owner had to know it was burnt. Dont they taste their own food?

2021-06-21Was here in the past and the food was better. My last visit the food was awful. The cornbread was SOUR! Im assuming its made with buttermilk but still, that cornbread was DEF old! The Jerk Chicken was okay as was the rice and peas. The cabbage wasnt good. I was VERY disappointed that I spent $34 on food that was so bad. My daughter wasted most of hers. Wont be going back.

2021-08-18The owner is really cool. Needs to put up some Caribbean cheer to spruce up the place, still doesnt take away from the food which is good I mean thats what youre in there for anyway, right? You havent tried them? Do so soon!

2021-06-30All food was bland. Rice hard. Jerk chicken was flavorless, dry, and weird.Supposed to be large serving size was mini. Went there because our typical go to place was closed and it was a waste of money. I see why they have a big sign that says no refunds or exchanges. I will stick to my other Caribbean spot down the street on Frebis.

2021-10-01My daughter and I had been wanting to try this place for a long time..Well we did and it was so darn good the food was hot and well flavored..kind of like a little ma and pop shop ...Chicken fell straight off thee bone ..We most definitely will be back

2021-01-15Food tastes good to me but getting a large oxtail looks like a small. They skimp on the meat for real. Also, they are never open like theyre hours say. I literally have to call before I go because I dont want to go for nothing.

2021-05-26This place is awesome! Homemade Jamaican food served up hot and fast. Owner was polite and friendly and the food was exactly what I had hoped for. Highly recommended.
