In the midst of the Pandemic, you need to feel safe and know you you are limiting exposure to COVID. I really appreciate and am thankful for the time and attention that has been given to cleaning and preparing each vehicle.The kindness and professionalism shown to me when a reservation fell through at another rental location was great! I will most assuredly use Enterprise and value my Plus status to assist me in getting where I need to go.
This location has gone above and beyond to help. There was an issue with my rental from the Sawmill location, further from me but where I dropped my car to be repaired, and originally they did not have the way to fix it the representative called other stores found a solution and even is getting it delivered to the 5th ave. I highly recommend this Enterprise
Ive finally given up on Enterprise. Ive been a customer for 8 years but I have to call it quits. This location has always been great to work with. Friendly staff, quick service, no issues with them for years. Enterprise corporate really killed it for me. The car quality has really tanked the last few years with Enterprise purchasing the absolute bare bones vehicles for their fleet, keeping bad cars longer, and not keeping up on their vehicle maintenance. The last several vehicles I have had have been disappointments with either mechanical issues, or just lacking in the most basic creature comforts. The last vehicle I had didnt even have cruise control which was more than a minor annoyance for the 400 mile day trip. So Im done. Once again, great service at this location, they are just hobbled by what cars they get in.
I rented several cars from this location for several months. The staff is very professional and curtious. If you have an issue they dont speak to you with suspicions. Good service good cars and a straightforward and honest crew my thanks to all and especially Kevin. Keep it up guys.
We would give negative 5 if I could. Our company made a reservations through their customer service. Our vehicle was not ready, and they had zero vehicles available until late or next day. Everyone person we spoke with, from customer service to even corporate office placed blam on the system. Our entire work schedule and day was shot due to Enterprise and its poor service . If you want a car it might be best to find someone else, or you can end up like us stuck without a vehicle. Save yourself the stress and go with another company
Nothing is ever going to be perfect when it comes to renting cars. All you can ask for is that the people actually care if you walk out their doors satisfied. The staff at this Enterprise will make sure that you are satisfied and will make you want to bring your business back. If theres an issue, just let them know and theyll make it right. If they did a good job, tell them, they like that too.
I had reserved a Standard Sized SUV, and upon arrival, my options were either a Pickup Truck with the back seat, or a Ford Expedition. As I was traveling with 2 other colleagues for a conference we were hosting, I knew the Truck would not have room for our supplies and the 3 of us. I went with the Expedition, it was a beast. It happened to be on the day we had strong winds and tornadoes, and while traveling down the freeway, the Expedition would be moved by the wind, once so bad I had lost control for a few moments and the slippage automatic correction was engaged.The service agent was very nice and efficient. He was friendly, and offered a bottle of water for my trip. I travel with a company account, and sometimes checkin can be a pain as they want personal credit cards to hold a deposit. This agent was great and had me on the road in minutes.This location however has no parking and you have to park across the street behind another business.In future, for safety of my car, and in hopes of getting the vehicle I reserved will use the Enterprise Pick You Up Service. This way I can leave my vehicle at home or at work where it would be a safer environment.
We had a rental reservation and showed up a little early as I had an appointment. They had no car ready (guess the person didnt return the vehicle) and tried to call around for a good 15 minutes looking for a similar kind. The gentleman wasnt even focused on me, he was busy instructing others and answering calls. I informed him I had somewhere to be but still took forever trying to find the style we reserved instead of just giving me what they had available. Finally they did just that but I unfortunately did not make my meeting as a consequence. They were very nice people but Ive never had a car not be ready to go with the Downtown location, which sadly is no longer there.
I had recently rented a minivan from them and didnt have really as much of a pleasant experience to narrate! When I went to pick up the van, they were complaining about how they didnt have any (despite showing availability at the time of booking) and somehow they managed to get one for me. Next, the Van that i ended up renting wasnt cleaned and the gas was filled to an arbitrary level between half and 3/4ths of a tank and i was supposed to return with the same level of gas. The worst experience was with billing. I had returned on a Sunday (when their business was closed) and dropped the keys in their box. They charged me for an extra day, although I wasnt supposed to be charged based on my booking contract. When I called to sort this out, I was put on hold and finally the manager said he would call me back. He never did and I called up again. Fortunately there was somebody else who picked up the phone and said she would take care of it. She had also made it sound like I wasnt the first one to have had this problem and that they would take care of refunding the extra days rental charges. They finally did, which why I am even giving them any stars! Overall, stay away if you can.........
The associates were very friendly and helpful. My issue is with the fact that the type of vehicle we rented was not available when I went to pick it up. I had a 2 day trip from Ohio to Illinois with 4 other co-workers so we reserved a minivan through the on-line system. I went to pick up the minivan at the time I designated on the reservation but they told me it was getting the oil changed and would be back soon and that it would be a couple minutes. After 10 minutes of waiting, they informed me that there as a part associated with the oil filter that was cracked and that they couldnt release the minivan for use until a part was ordered and installed. I was told that I could wait for an hour for a minivan to come from elsewhere in Columbus, or I could take a 12 person conversion van (my company doesnt allow this and it was WAY to much vehicle for us plus it has worse gas mileage), or I could take a 7 passenger SUV in 30 minutes (but has hardly no luggage space). I had not choice due to the timing so I grabbed the SUV. The SUV was OK but we were cramped with our luggage packed around the passengers (not safe, nor was it comfortable). I dont understand why they didnt get the oil changed earlier in the day when the KNEW I had to pick it up at the time that I designed in my reservation. Why reserve the minivan if they arent going to have it available. I was very disappointed that they didnt plan better to make sure that the vehicle we reserved was ready.
I would give this location of Enterprise Rental a 5 star rating. They were courteous and helpful in meeting all my needs. I would remind everyone who rents a vehicle that has blue tooth capabilities and who educates their phones that when they turn in the car to delete their connection. When I got in the rental I found several previous smart phone numbers still on the blue tooth memory.
I rented a 12 passenger van for company use. Since our company has an account with Budget, all of the insurance options are waived which simplifies the check-in process. When I was taken out to the parking lot where they had the van parked, they had the van pulled into a very tight spot with the front of the van nearly impossible to see. Either the agent or I was able to walk in front of the van.When I returned the van, the agent that checked in the van noticed the front bumper had an indentation so he called me out to review it. The indentation was on both sides of the license plate and was nearly the same size in length. Even if I was able to do a walk-around of the van beforehand, I’m not sure I would have notice the indentation as damage – to me it just looked like the design of the bumper.While the van was in my possession, the front of the van was never placed where someone could have backed into it. And I never hit into anything – I also had 8 other passengers that can contest to that. However, since the so call damage was not noted on the paperwork, they are persistent that the damage occurred while the van was in my care.Upon reviewing this with our Legal Department, they shared some very alarming information. Not necessary about this rental agency but about rental companies in general. First it is common for them to hid damage, or make it more difficult for it to seen when the vehicle is being checked out. And there has been several cases where a rental company does not repair minor damage and have multiply clients pay for the damage.Going forward, I was advised to take photos of the vehicle before I leave the lot and make sure the agent is in at least one of the photos. They recommended a minimum of eight, and if there is even a slight dent, make sure it is included in a photo. With smartphones, this is something very simple to do, but something most would never think about. They also advised retaining the photos for at least 60 days after the vehicle is returned.
The branch manager. He’s absolutely rude. I had taken a car for the week and dropped it off on a Sunday morning. The branch was not operational on Sunday so I called them back on Monday and checked if they could waive off the Sunday charge. The other locations do waive it after checking the security cam or something else. But this branch didn’t have any cams.The manager simply said it’s our corporate policy to charge you for Sunday and hung up on my call & never called back. I called them back but he was frustrated with the second call.I’m not sure why !
Excellent service and the employees are extremely professional and friendly. I needed the car for a trip from Columbus to Cleveland, OH. This is the first time for me to write a review for Enterprise although I used their services several times before . But this location in Columbus was different and Im really pleased with the way I was treated and the flexibility that they showed me to meet my requests.
Friendly people. Good selection of cars. BE YOUR OWN ADVOCATE. They will give you a car with 1/2 or 1/4 or NO gas and say to bring it back with that or more. Lets see how do I make that happen easily. I DO NOT. They must be charging people for gas and not filling it up. Many rental places, other companies too, will do the 1/2 tank assumption. DO NOT LET THEM. TELL THEM THEY NEED TO FILL THE TANK. Especially since there is a gas station within a golf fairway drive distance.
I have been renting cars from here for a while now since my car is in process of being fixed. I have always had an amazing experience and even to the point they reserved me a car and made sure it was there for me, if i ever needed to extend or return later in the day they always accomodate. Excellent agents to work with and i would reccomend them to anyone!! Keep up the hard work and great cusotmer service.
My BMW was rear ended recently, I have had a Enterprise car for around three weeks now. Awful experience. I have returned two cars due to expired tags and they DO NOT mind sending the car right back out. I now have a compact car with the engine light coming on while my insurance company is paying Enterprise for a full-size car. Even though the engine light is coming on I am not a priory to be switched out. A reservation means NOTHING to Enterprise, dont except what you reserved. Worst experience ever.
Would never use these guys again. A clothes hanger was thrown up off the road and chipped the windshield of the car we rented. I called them to let them know, not wanting it to get worse, and was informed I would be charged for the repairs. If I had done something to damage the car, I would understand needing to pay to fix it. I find this ridiculous and have no plans to ever use this company again.
Keith, Jill, and the other Enterprise teammates at the Grandview location are a cut above all other rental agencies. They have my business for life. When something isnt right, they make it right, and always call to ensure my rental is what I need or what I want. I was always fond of most enterprise locations, but this location has seasoned leadership in place to succeed with every transaction. Nice job Keith, Jill, and team!
Absolutely, Full stars for this location. This place was very nice and friendly. We a had 5-day trip from Cbus to NY but somehow we had to extend one more day and they let us change it which is very nice and I love the flexible policy. Ask them and they will find solutions for you.
The phone sales department doesnt communicate well with their actual locations. Said we would have a car but it was a scramble all morning for them to find us one. It really becomes a stressful time when you are in need of a vehicle because youre car was in an accident and you are then told you might not have a vehicle to get you to work. Very frustrating.
They stole my stuff in my car. So my car was totaled and I called them to get it and I let them know that there’s expensive stuff in my car. And after two days I called again and they said there’s nothing in my car we took to clean it and there was nothing. I lost about 2000$

2022-06-24Excellent service! I rented a car here through my insurance because my car is in the shop and it was nothing but an easy and pleasant experience. I was given a BMW which was cool and it was extremely clean. When returning the car, the gentleman at the front desk (unfortunately I don’t remember his name) even covered my Uber home. I wouldn’t hesitate to rent a car from here in the future!

2022-07-18These guys have always been very good to me. I live close and in the past have needed to rent due to not having a car. Theyre always accommodating and help me out. In not sure if its like everything else nowadays but the rental rate for 8 days was over $800. (Small to full size sedan) That did not include insurance or of course gas. Sadly that was more expensive then using my diesel truck for the same task. Ah well a guy, his dogs and his truck.... Roll on people!I still recommend, this time it just didnt make sense for me....

2022-05-26On the day of our departure date 4/14, we reserved with Avis in Hilliard. The same company I used for years. They refused my credit card payment because they dont accept the card company we previously used.. Your location linked me up with the only avaible van at the time in entire city on Livingston Ave. Evan may have been the rep. We were due to leave at 8am. This was a special trip due to some recent tragedies. We were able to get on the road around 1pm. Thank you for going above and beyond to help my family. We had a awesome time. 2022-03-28Amazing experience working with Evan. Went above and beyond when working with me on a car rental during a crucial time I needed one. Set me up with a Lincoln MKZ and really made it great. Couldnt of had a better experience honestly. If youre considering renting from an Enterprise and can do it from this location with Evan I would highly suggest that.

2022-03-10I rented a car here for nearly 2 months because my car was being repaired. Geico covered the first month but I had to pay weekly, out of pocket, for the duration of my car being repaired. The first week went smoothly and I was given a discounted out of pocket rate for the car I had been driving e.g. I continued to pay the same daily rate that I had been through geico (except I was paying, not geico) approximately $40 a day. The next week I had trouble, the employee tried to charge me nearly twice as much as the week before. After I voiced my concerns and the employee checked and saw what I had paid out of pocket the week prior, I was charged the appropriate amountThe day I returned the car the employee tried to charge me $829. I asked what this charge was for as I had been paying weekly and in advance. I was extremely confused. The employee could NOT give me an explanation or answer. Instead he told me he had “only been working here a year, don’t really know the process for paying after insurance stops” and would have a manager call me the next day to discuss the issue - if there even was one. He acted like it was a mistake on their end. 2 weeks later on my billing statement I noticed he DID charge my card, he lied straight to my face, just to get me out the door. I was nothing but friendly and understanding of the situation and tried to clarify multiple times that a manager would call me the next day if needed and that I would NOT be charged without permission.I am extremely disappointed and insulted that your employee had the audacity to casually try to send through an $829 charge rather than be responsible and do his job. I’d be more than happy to speak with a manager regarding this experience and in the meantime am disputing this charge. Thankfully I used a credit card.

2021-11-16I will never give my business to any enterprise again after the experience I had with the brand manager at this location. I’ve had a rental car since 10/11/21, over a month, because my car is in the shop. Insurance covered the rental until 11/11 & the shop my car is at, the owner confirmed he will cover the rental until my car is fixed. I’ve spoke with someone FOUR separate times to let them know that keens is covering the rental from 11/11 forward. I JUST spoke to someone yesterday morning at 9am and he said “ok I’m gonna call the shop to confirm they’re paying and I’ll notate your account” - last thing I heard until this morning I receive a call from the BRANCH MANAGER telling me that no one has noted my account as being paid for by the body shop. I was understandably upset with this being my FIFTH conversation in the last week with enterprise. And I’ve had to repeat myself every single time I speak with someone, so clearly someone isn’t doing their job and notating as they should. I voiced my frustrations to the BRANCH MANAGER and he interrupted as I was speaking, started screaming in the phone and then to top it all off, he hung up on me.When YOUR company doesn’t do something correctly, you offer to fix it. Not yell at a customer for being frustrated with the mistakes that YOUR company has made. I’ve taken this to corporate and beyond!& then AFTER the branch manager himself confirmed on a recorded line that Keens is covering the rental, he charged my card $400. Now my attorney will be contacting them.

2021-08-24Reservation @ Noon Saturday 8/21Arrived 11:45amI waited 45 minutes for Enterprise to clean the vehicle which was filthy and still smelled like smoke when I was handed the keys.Returned the vehicle today 8/24. Acknowledged by associate but wasnt given any attention as she was On the phone for over 5 minutes she apologized for delay and mid phone conversation said if this was a drop off, youre good to go.Come back home and my account was charged twice.They also wouldnt honor Sunday discount when we didnt need all 4 days of use.Back up Camera was also out of service the duration of Rental.I liked one of the employees but my overall experience I wont be returning.Lets see how long this takes to get resolved.
