Never rent from this establishment. My daughter rented from here and the tags were expired (Jan 21) and it’s February, when she returned the car her own vehicle wouldn’t start she has 3 babies under 4 and asked the clerk for help to jump start her car and Andrea the clerk refused to help her first saying they had no jumper cables ( really ? You are a car rental business and you have no jumper cables?) , then when my daughter said she had her own, then the excuse was “it’s a liability” well, we didn’t ask for her to jump it with an enterprise car , an employee could have used their own vehicle and been nice enough to help jump the car. Let me also mention it is freezing outside as well. There was also no effort made by anyone in enterprise when my daughter asked for help as far as making a call, or seeing if another business could help. My daughter went next door to rent a center and hey we’re happy to help. If “Andrea” is the kind of person Enterprise has representing their business then I do not ever recommend using this company ever!The lady at corporate who took our call was very embarrassed that no one tried to help my daughter and couldn’t believe what she was hearing. Hopefully my daughter will get the call for an apology .Thanks for your response Chris, we called corporate and we’re supposed to receive a phone call from the district manager , that didn’t happen.
Im giving a 5 star review since the customer service was excellent. Justin was friendly and helpful; so were the other two reps. Im sorry I cant remember their names; maybe Tracy and Buddy. I do wish the overall cost had been lower but I cant complain about the service.
The customer service was great! We had a standard rental but they were out of the vehicles in that class which was a vw Jetta or similar and we got a free upgrade to a Hyundai sante fe! The car was beautiful and great on gas for being a midsized SUV. We also left some of our stuff in the car when we returned it and I called they got everything out and we were able to come back and get our stuff. I couldn’t be more happy with our experience with this location. Definitely will go back and rent another car for our next vacation.
I Love Enterprise Rent-A-Car! I have 15+ year-old cars. These are great for local driving. But I also travel out of town 3-5 times a year (and I prefer not to fly if I can drive there). So I chose to rent a car for these out of town trips. And Enterprise is perfectly set up to help me do this. This Eastgate location is within a couple of miles to my house (so theres no driving to the airport just to rent a car). They will pick me up and drop me off at my house, which makes Enterprise one of the most convenient rental car agencies to use! Another reason I prefer to use Enterprise is I know the staff will always be super friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable about their product.
Late Thursday afternoon and I needed a car for the weekend. I stopped into the Eastgate location and they were kind enough to call Withamsville to reserve a car for me. Service at both locations was fast, friendly and professional. Excellent experience all the way around.
When arranging for a rental, I specifically indicated that no additional insurance was needed. When the vehicle was delivered to my daughter at the repair shop, she received a very hard sell on the insurance, even after this had been prearranged....and she did initially confirm no. In the end, the salesperson somehow got her to sign, $40 a day! So, my credit card was charged over $400. I am posting this 2 months after the incident because Ive been trying to work directly with eastgate enterprise. I even suggested splitting, as they are using the she is an adult argument. This has been to no avail, so please be aware of this practice at enterprise. Ive been a loyal customer for over 10 years, but will use other rental companies moving forward.
The service at this Enterprise location was outstanding. I highly recommend them if you need a rental in the Eastgate area. My car is in the body shop, and I can just leave the Enterprise car there, and they’ll pick it up later. Their service is the best in the area. I won’t go anywhere else.
Extremely disappointed and WILL NOT be re ting from e enterprise again. I made an online reservation on 9/6/2019. I made it to pick up a car at 9:30am on 9/10/19. As I am pulling in on the morning of my reservation, Enterprise calls me. I was running a few minutes BEHIND (It was 9:40am or so), so I assumed it was to ask where I was. I answered and they decided to inform me that they have no cars available and had been overbooked but I could wait 2 1/2 hours for cars to come from Chilli9or I could go to CVG airport to get a car. At this point, I had to be in Indianaplis in about 3 hours. Absolutely no way i could wait, and i dont have a major credit card to use for a deposit so going to the airport wasnt an option. I understand things happen, but to wait until technically AFTER I was supposed to be there made me very upset! They knew when they opened those doors that morning, they were overbooked. Ruined my entire trip and I missed my meeting in Indiana. Will NEVER even consider this company again for a rental car.
I had told them ,when I arrived to pick up the car ,that our flight was really great with Allegiant Airlines, Enterprise told me ,that they were going to make sure ,my day was going to be even greater with them .And it was !!!!Great friendly Service, we loved the Malabu they had waiting for us.Thanks for being so wonderful to us.We were here in Ohio ,for a Celebration of Life in memory of my Granddaughter.That was killed in an auto accident, you guys helped ,made it a little easier.Thank you so much.Florence Haas
I had an awful experience from the start with enterprise I was told my car would be waiting for me at the body shop. It wasnt they showed up 10-15 minutes later walks in and ask me do I need a car? And wants to drive me back to the rental location even though I was promised it would be waiting. I explained the situation and he says your choice buddy. As soon as I said Ill just call the office he hopped in and left me at the body shop. Did not want to help me figure it out at all he could just care less.
My experience with enterprise could not have gone any smoother, the service rep was friendly and fast. the car was fabulous and spotless.the return service just as speedy and friendlyI will absolutely rent here again. ....................................................................................................................................................
I had a reservation to pick up a car. I went to pick up the car. I was informed there was no car available. They had my reservation, they just didnt have a car and apparently neither did any other location.What exactly is the point of a reservation if there is nothing available? What I am actually reserving? Im not sure if this is location or company specific.
Horrible customer service..I had a reservation set up and they screwed that up causing me chaos trying to find a last minute way to get to my own wedding that was out of state..I will never try to rent from enterprise again due to them causing more unnecessary stress during an already stressful week for me..thanks a lot enterprise, u lost my business forever!

2022-03-02I would definitely recommend this place to anyone needing a rental car. Chris was extremely helpful and professional. He even stayed late on a Saturday to make sure we got a car. The customer service was nothing short of amazing! Thanks Chris!

2022-04-20Got a rental car from an insurance claim after I hit a pothole their service here was great never had one single problem with there car or anything just don’t go to fire stone in Eastgate it’s horrible

2022-02-01Car was well cleaned and well maintained, but thats not why they get 5 stars - there was an issue/miscommunication with the shop that was supposed to be paying for the rental, and rather than billing my card on file they called me and explained the situation, then gave me the weekend (since they called me at EoD Friday) to get ahold of someone and talk it out on Monday.Great customer service, truly understood my needs and helped me out!

2021-01-29I was in and out within fifteen minutes when I picked my truck rental up. The guy that checked me out was friendly, explained everything, and got me on my way. The truck was awesome. Clean and fun to drive. The return process was even faster, the lady that checked me in did the inspection process, printed my receipt and had me on my way. It’s refreshing to do business with a group of people genuinely there to help with a smile. I recommend Eastgate Enterprise and will return again.

2021-10-22The people here were pretty nice until we got our bill. We found out that we were double charged when we added a driver. We called and tried to figure it out and get some of our money back, but they refused that they did anything wrong on their end. If you go here make sure they don’t charge you extra.

2021-08-16Driver who was supposed to bring us the paperwork for the rental was extremely late. We called the office several times and the body shop owners called too. They assured us they were “en route” each time. That went on for over an hour. We were only 30 minutes from Enterprise. This was planned for weeks.

2021-04-07Rented from Eastgate Ohio area. I had made the reservation weeks in advance. We get there to pick up the midsize comfortable car. The lady there said I just rented that car to someone. Why would you do that when it was reserved? She gave us an upgrade. RAV4 like riding in a buckboard. Horrible vehicle. Dropped it off 2 days ago; still having muscle spasms in my back. I had another car rented for this coming August which I canceled. Also, the credit card I used was compromised. I had not used that card anywhere else for weeks. Either the lady there violated my trust or Enterprise has been hacked. I was assured that they do not sell my info. Very disappointing experience. Will never use them again!

2020-09-28In more than 25 years of traveling and primarily using Enterprise for a vehicle, I have never had a worse experience. Part of my rental was to be paid for by a car repair company. When the company(over the phone) tried to pay their portion, it took them over 20 minutes to figure out a total for them, most of that time, we were on hold. They knew three days in advance, how much my portion was, why the long time to figure out the balance? This location seems to be unprofessional and not trained enough to be in front of customers. Not sure if we will give them another chance or not.
