My son and his wife went to Denver to celebrate his 30th birthday. Their return flight to Detroit made an emergency landing in Cleveland leaving them stranded 3 hours from home at 10:30pm. They were beyond stressed with no flight and no rental car. I found Captains Car Service online and called at 11:00 pm. Kirk answered the phone, headed to the airport, and picked them up within 45 minutes!!!! My son was beyond thrilled. He and his wife were able to get home to see their 1 year old son, their pets, and get back to work without missing a beat. You guys saved the day!!!! Thank you so much!!!
Our daughters plane was delayed into the early hours and there was no taxi service available. Kirk answered our call and found us a driver on no notice to get her to Oberlin. Next time definately going to book ahead!
Captains is the absolute best. I make them my preferred choice. I have patronized them more than once and each time I was very happy. I hired Captains Car Service for my wedding. The driver was so experienced and so helpful! Not only did he get me and my bridal party to the places we needed to be on time, he thought of things we never would have known to ask— like after the ceremony, he asked if we wanted to keep the altar arrangements and take them with us to the reception. And then he proceeded to run into the church and load them into the trunk himself. He was so professional and helpful, and a delight to work with. I can’t say enough good things! Thank you so much.
I booked Captain’s Car Service for some rides on our wedding day. An SUV to take the groom and groomsmen to the church and a sedan to pick us up from the reception. Kirk was wonderful. He was punctual and wonderful to chat with on the ride. The vehicles were so clean and the little extras were great! And the rates for the services were fantastic. I highly recommend. Thank you, Kirk, for making this one less thing I had to worry about on my wedding day!
Absolute best service, particularly for our family with young kids! We had odd travel hours due to flights, and Kirk was absolutely incredible. He was early for our departure (calming my 4am nerves) and was extremely patient and helpful as I installed boosters for my three little kids, all of whom were moody and sleepy. He was gracious, supportive, and I felt like with him on transportation duty, I could actually focus on the kids. He also handled our return trip, including a flight delayed past 1am. He was unflappable, extremely professional, and so kind! He made all of my kids laugh and feel comfortable when they’d had a hard travel day. If you’re worried about time, little kids, any of that... if doesn’t get any better! Thank you, Captain’s Car Service! We will be customers for life!
From beginning to end this service was top notch and exceeded all expectations. The car was great and Kirk expertly navigated us to and through downtown Cleveland prior to our dinner reservation. We were in a bit of a food coma after so we headed straight home but the whole time the car service was highly enjoyable. Ill recommend Captains to anyone in need of a car service in the area! This car is truly a first rate, top of the line, professional experience. The driver was in constant contact with me about my flight arrival and where to pick me up. They were waiting for me when I got off the plane, and I truly felt like a VIP. I was picked up in a sleek black car, the driver was well dressed in a suit, opened the door for me, put my luggage away and on the way to my destination, there were snacks and water to sustain me.The driver was super nice, and I would definitely recommend them, for any and every occasion.
Kirk is great! He had to wait for us because our flight was delayed an hour and a half. Very gracious and helpful during our ride, which was very comfortable. Will definitely use the service again and highly recommend it!!

I was looking for a one way ride and stumbled upon Captains amongst many other companies I called and quotes I received. Kirk asnwered the phone promptly and was beyond helpful and quick with a quote. Unlike several other services I called with rude staff and requests to call me back with a quote, Captains was a breeze. Upon booking he offered coffee or water available in the carsince it was a 9am pick up. I unfortunatley had to cancel only minutes after I booked with Kirk. he was kind and understanding and did not charge me the cancellation fee since I had contacted him so quickly. If I am ever in need of transportation in Cleveland this is the guy I am gonna call.

Couldnt have had a worse experience. The so called captain is no more than a common charlatan. A word, from our interactions, would lead me to believe he will have to look up. Turns out Charlatan Kirk only owns an old Toyota, while claiming to own a large fleet of luxury vehicles. The clown even tried to tell me he handles all of Lebron James transportation needs! I had to laugh. Ive never seen Lebron rolling in a camry. Buyer beware with Kirk. You will be let down.

2021-08-07We celebrated our anniversary in style! Kirk was absolutely the best, he made us feel comfortable, special and we were well taken care of. Not only was he accommodating, but he went the extra mile by taking us to places that we didnt even think of, for memorable photos, and he was very knowledgeable about the area, which just made our night that much more special. The ride was smooth, the interior was very clean and it was loaded with snacks, bottled water, cellphone charger and more. It was roomy and the temperature was very comfortable. He made us feel like royalty and we will definitely be calling him again and would recommend him to everyone! Thanks again Kirk~ Rob & Cindy Becker

2021-11-06I typically do not leave reviews but I had to take the time to leave a review for Captains Car Service. I found myself in a somewhat desperate situation and had to get my 80 year old Mom home from the airport and she landed in about 3 hours. I found Captains and tried to set up the pick-up but there was an issue - I ended up talking the whole thing through with Kirk and he was incredibly helpful and professional and patient during the whole process. Jay did a great job being on time and communicative when it was time to get her - I cannot say enough I will definitely be using them in the future for personal as well as business needs! Thank you.

2022-02-15Captains Car Service was a great choice for a car service from the Cleveland airport to downtown. My driver, Frank, was absolutely wonderful and was a super careful driver during snow conditions. I can be a nervous passenger during bad weather conditions, but never felt nervous with Frank as my driver. If you are in need of a car service while in Cleveland, this is the one!
