Great place for dogs! Smooth pick up/drop off flow and high quality services. Responsive - they return phone calls and confirm reservations swiftly. Camper Cam is great to watch when I miss my dog. Staff is friendly and love animals! We are so happy to have Camp Bow Wow when we need a place for our little dog that is just like home! Teddy loves Camp!
We visited last week for a nail trim for our very timid Jack Russell Terrier, who is almost one year old. The girls who did his nails were so kind & they did an excellent job! I just couldnt believe how fast they did all of his nails!!Plus, they truly love dogs because I noticed employees walking dogs and boxes for donations and items free to customers.Highly recommend.👍
My dog is very high maintenance being a bulldog. I was nervous boarding her because of how she needs to stay cool. After voicing my concerns they took such good care of her! She is a huge fan and will be back a lot to visit her new friends. Youll never know how wonderful peace of mind that your dog is being cared for can be. We are very grateful!
Every single staff member is so friendly and helpful, you can tell they truly have a passion and a love for animals! I feel so comfortable dropping off my fur babies for day camp or even a few nights when we are away. My dogs are always in great spirits when we pick them up (and always need a good nap after from all the play time they get in!) So thankful to have found such a great, reliable, and local place for my pups! 10/10 would recommend!
My dog is an older boy and I was a little concerned how hed be in this environment. But he did great. He enjoyed the freedom to go outside and play (which he doesnt really do) or just laze around and watch the world (which is what he adores). We could spy on him with the camera .. and he always seemed content. Id recommend this facility ... Its our second time and will not be our last.
Last time we had our dogs there, we were watching the videos. We saw them spraying our dogs with water when they barked. Please train your people in alternative methods. Dogs are pack animals. They follow top dog of the pack. if you firmly say no and turn your back on them, they will stop the behavior. when they trust you will take care of the pack, they wont bark to alert you.
I have never had anything but EXCELLENT experiences with Camp Bow Wow! Callahan always comes home happy, healthy, and tired. The people are friendly and he’s well taken care of. He’s always dragging me towards the door for drop-off, so I know he loves it too. Thank you!
I took my Basset hound for his initial interview yesterday. He is afraid of large dogs so I informed the facility via email and on my online application that he is only to be placed with small dogs. He is a very shy and low energy 4 yr old and likes to just stay to himself, sit in the corner and observe. Jen, the owner approved my request beforehand. Jen was not present during my dogs interview and the staff said they were unable to view my application where I stated that he is not to be placed with large dogs. Apparently, she did not inform the staff about our agreement. They gave me a hard time about placing him with the small dog group for his interview. Specifically, a man named Yoshi went as far as VERY aggressively and disrespectfuly, repeating to me that my dog could not be placed with the small dogs, despite the fact that i explained to him that the owner Jen had approved my request. Yoshi pulled down his mask and was raising his voice saying I just told you why. At that time, a customer entered the lobby to pick up her dog. Yoshi went as far as following the customer outside and was discussing my issue with HER!I have been to 4 different daycares over the years and have had great experiences. I have NEVER had any trouble with placing my dog with the small dog group, let alone being made to feel unsafe and so angry. I asked for my dog and we left promptly! I was concerned with my dogs safety. I will never be returning to this place and DO NOT recommend anyone taking their dog to this facility, especially if Yoshi is working!!! I can only imagine how he treats the dogs considering his aggressiveness towards me as a new customer.
My dog loved the facility for daycare. We tried boarding a couple times. The last time was the worst. They said he didn’t eat but gave me all the food back. He has a sensitive stomach and had diarrhea for days after because they gave him other food. Gave his clean and still bagged blanket. I wasn’t happy and wanted to talk to manager. Told them I wasn’t happy they apologized and handed me a coupon for a discount for daycare. He went back to daycare when I picked him up the staff said how well was and sweet. Then the manager ran out said he was violent and could never come back because he wasn’t nice to other dogs and I had been warn several times. My dog hid for days and freaked out like he was beat and screamed at.
I looked at 5 other doggy day cares that were much closer to me before looking at Camp Bow Wow. This is a first rate run organization. Every employee I have met has been so nice and knowledgeable. I love the app to be able to see my puppy anytime. It is very clean and very organized. I am willing to drive out of my way for a place that cares about every dog in a loving manner. I am definitely on Team Bow Wow!
Trusted my pups here while I was gone, looked at the web cam to see the worker sitting in playroom on her phone not even looking or interacting with the dogs. Of course I have screenshots of this. So much for the promise of “trusted counselors who carefully supervise and monitor playtime” more like monitor her cellphone. No thanks will not be coming back and will be advising others to do the same.
The staff is so welcoming and friendly! Definitely a new favorite place! I have an extremely high energy pup and camp is the perfect place for him. I no longer stress about finding time to walk him, hes constantly enganged and active while im at work and tired by the end of the day! They even send me pictures of him while hes in one on one time.
Camp Bow Wow is a wonderful place for my dog. Ii was relieved to find out they separate the bigger dogs from the smaller ones. During his interview, my dog was allowed to go into the play area and when he passed, he was able to stay for a few hours for free. The play area was vast and he was able to run and explore. I also liked they have cameras in all of the play areas so can see your dog in the lobby. Moreover, I love that you do not need an appointment to drop him off for day camp which is really convenient.
I absolutely love this place! My dog gets so excited when I ask him, Do you want to go to Camp Bow Wow today? I love that they remember him and know his name, regardless of the tons of dogs they meet. They truly care and that is invaluable to me. Thank you Camp Bow Wow and all of the employees for being absolutely amazing!
I take Hank to Camp Bow Wow for boarding and everytime we pull in to the parking lot he gets excited. The staff always greets him when we walk in the door. He loves it there! The webcam is great to check in to see him playing. He sleeps for pretty much a day and a half when he gets home from being so worn out from playing all weekend! The staff is amazing and we have never had an issue. Fairly priced and your pup will love it
Ive only been in for an interview with my fur baby, which he achieved his certificate!!! First impression was good staff was nice friendly/ professional & informative about how CBW operates which was and is kool, i like the monitoring fact, we yet have to experience their operations, hopefully all will go purr-fit and my doggie can have a vacation resort of his own to retreat to in the future. Will update in the very near future.🐕🐕🐕🐕
I bring my two dogs Tarly and Scarlett usually once a month while my husband and I go out of town. The staff is so friendly and always greets them by their names. Any time I look in on the cams the dogs seem to be having a blast and get loving from the employees out in the “yard” with them. When we pick them up we always get a good report on how the dogs did. They are always excited for their trips to camp bow wow!
Our pups have stayed at Camp Bow Wow for the past 5 years and we love everything about it! On their most recent stay, one of our dogs had a medical issue that required multiple trips to the vet, medications and daily treatments. The staff at Camp Bow Wow went above and beyond to keep us informed every step of the way, and most importantly, give our dog the best care she could have received anywhere. We are tremendously grateful to the Camp Bow Wow counselors for giving us peace of mind while we were traveling knowing that our dogs were in such loving and capable hands. We would recommend Camp Bow Wow to anyone and everyone!
Ive taken my two dogs here several times. At first, it was a nice experience. Its nice to be able to view your dogs while you are away and know they are happy and doing well. I have a pug who is terrified to be away and prefers humans over other dogs, he stays in the small dog house. My other is a pit mix and loves going there and typically follows humans around. I no longer take my dogs there for a few reasons.I watched the camera in the small.dog house and there was a counselor going back and forth between the two indoor rooms where they had a few dogs on one side and some on the other. There was only one counselor there and she wasnt engaging with the dogs when I was watching on camera. She was just walking aorund while the dogs followed her in and out of the outside doors. One time my pit came back with a scratch on him and no one said anything or knew how it got there. He is very docile, a big baby, and is scared of his own shadow. The time following that, I counted 22 large dogs in one room and only saw one employee in the indoor space with them. My pit came home with a bad report card saying he was mounting other dogs and this behavior wouldnt be tolerated. Mind you, my dog has never done this behavior before and I could imagine it must be stressful to barely have space to run around in with that many dogs.I did email them after my dog came home with the scratch with no reply. I am a business professional and this is poor customer service. They should limit the amount of dogs they take in for day care and boarding. (They claim to have a good ratio) Its too many in a small space and could cause your dog added stress.
It is the best place for pups while away. They have so much fun playing with the other dogs. I can watch them on camera. The staff is friendly, professional and they are the pack leader. They keep all the dogs calm andhappy. I dont worry about my furry family while I am away.
I have autism/mood disorder/and ptsd. The management and employees had no professionalism about working with a person who works with summit dd. They did not talk with me to try to help me calm down. The one girl lied to me said I could come back then a manager came and fired me on the spot. Then didn’t allow me respite time. They allow no official break times and do not disclose this beforehand during the interview. They don’t even allow you time for a meal but expect you to work 8+ hours. If you are a person of disability I’d think twice about applying here.
I like that you have cameras so I can check on my dog. I’m glad when I board my dog, he gets to be out of the crate and play but also gets breaks to rest. I like that someone is always back with the dogs in the play area to supervise. You guys are very accommodating to the dog’s needs and any special requests to help them feel at home. I’m very happy with your facility.
Brought my dog here for an “interview” for the Camp Bow Wow in Cuyahoga Falls. This was in 2019. I’m clarifying my review because the owner’s response claims I left a review in two other states for the same camp bow wow, however I did not. I didn’t even know you were a chain or that you had businesses in other states!? But sure, make false accusations instead of addressing the actual problem. I’m not here to ruin your business, I don’t even want compensation for what you did to my body/health emergency. I’m only here to tell the story of what happened to me because it could happen to someone else, too. Anyway, I brought my dog here for an doggie interview before an upcoming vacation. He was an elderly bassador. He passed the interview where he got to hang out with other dogs for a few hours to see if he was a friendly dog. One of the requirements was for him to have flea treatment prior to going there, which he had just had at the vet & I provided documentation for. Anyway when I came to pick him up from his “interview,” I put him back in my car and noticed he picked something up while there. During the car ride, my whole face and body broke out in welts and I went into anaphylactic shock and had to go to the ER. My mouth, lips, and throat started closing up. I was given two EPi pens, two rounds of oral steroids. Turns out upon close inspection he had picked up thousands upon thousands of fleas while there in that short time of a few hours. Dog had just had his right guard flea pill at the vet so they shouldn’t have even been attracted to him, but they were. Every time I touched the dog, allergic reaction would worsen. I became so ill I had to put him in the care of someone else temporarily. I blame camp bow wow, I’m sorry but I do. Have never had anything like this happen before. I have pictures to prove what happened if google will allow me to post them.
I love that my pup can play with other dogs while in your care. Shes able to engage in active play, rather than being in a pen during those times when her human family is away from home. I appreciate the camper cams, so I can check in to see how things are going, as well as her report card at the end of her visit. My girl loves her play time at Camp Bow Wow, and so do her people!
I’m a bit “extra” when it comes to my dog-he’s my kid. They were so kind, patient, and professional, and booked our tour/interview the same day we called them.Bear was sad to leave, and can’t wait to come back. I feel so relieved knowing I can also keep an eye on him to see his temperament.Thank you, Little Camp Bow Wow!
My 2yr old is a VERY people shy-- but not at CBW! Hes been going to CBW since he was old enough, and he also goes to 2 other doggy daycares, due to the location of where Im working at the time. Im 100% convinced that CBW is his absolute favorite! He cant wait to get in the door and look for his girlfriends =) He never seems shy when were there, and he always comes home happy and slightly exhausted lol! His older brother and sister use to go there when they were younger also. Although they were far from shy, I could tell they just loved it there so much too. Its super cute there, and I like the little daily events they have each week. Their hours are unbeatable!
My pup loves camp bow wow. He gets so excited when we drop him off. I watch him on the live web cams and he is having a ball. He is much more enjoyable to be around since hes been going to camp. The staff are incredibly nice and you can tell they love dogs. I would recommend Camp Bow Wow to anyone with a dog!
Love it here! (and so does my dog). I took him for his trial day about a month before boarding him and when I brought him back they remembered who he was which I was very impressed with. My dog was very well taken care of and you can also watch them on the camera through the website.I noticed after I picked him up they had given him a bath which was another plus on top of everything else. Staff is friendly and they know the dogs that go there. Great place, my dog has so much fun here and was VERY exhausted. He slept for two days after I picked him up. I love that he got so much exercise while I was gone
The staff is friendly, the facility is clean, prices are reasonable, and I also like the availability of grooming and training classes. Oh, and the cameras! I take my pups to Camp Bow Wow to have more uninterrupted time at home, but then I end up watching them play most of the time theyre gone.
We went to a camp bow wow in another state which I loved so I figured I would try this one, they are nice, appear to treat my pup right. However they did forget the path and nail clippings I paid for but in return they owned up and corrected the mistake. If youre in the area and your pup has proof of up to date shots theyre great for day care or boarding. Also as an added perk they can clone pet profiles to other locations so once you have an updated file youre set for any location.
I love how much the whole staff genuinely loves animals! Hearing how much they adore my dog every time I drop him off and pick him up makes me feel so good about leaving him in their care. In his most recent stay, my dog Rudy had about a day and a half where he was getting sick, and every team member on duty made an effort to stay in constant communication with me about how he was doing and ensure he was receiving the care he needed to feel better. At the end of the day, one of the team members even took Rudy home with her just so she could keep an eye on him through the night to make sure he didnt continue to get sick. Im happy to report he made a full recovery from whatever little tummy bug was making him sick and that I was able to enjoy the rest of my vacation ten hours away without worrying *too* much about how my sweet boy was doing! The Camp Bow Wow Cuyahoga Falls team goes above and beyond to care for all the dogs, and Id never trust anyone else (not even family!) to care for Rudy as much as I trust this team. Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU to each and every person who works at this Camp Bow Wow location - you all are truly angels.
I love the ability to watch my dog on the camp cameras through out the day. My dog is always happy to go to camp and comes home tired. The people are always nice and remember my dog everytime he comes in. Would recommend to anyone who needs someone to watch their pup during the day.
We have a 5 month old Akita who we thought would be excited about playing with other dogs. Turns out he was more timid that we thought. The staff at camp bow wow was very patient and worked with him until he was comfortable enough. Now we can board him and not have to worry about cancelling our plans.
I brought my dog in for an interview here and think any current camper parents should be aware if their camper is used as a test dog for interviews. The way they conduct interviews is not appropriate and quite frankly reckless.1. There was no human evaluation prior to exposing the interviewing dog to campers.2. Exposed interviewing dog immediately to a large same sex dog in a corner.3. Upon the interviewing dog expressing she was uncomfortable with the first dog, they let in a couple more dogs, while the interviewing dog was still cornered.4. When asked about the specifics of what happened during the interview, the staff member would not give specific details and only reverted to general interview practices. The interview in its entirety was under 6 minutes. I saw my interviewing dog cornered from their monitor screens. I saw more dogs introduced in less than one minute. When I asked the staff member how much time she allowed my dog to acclimate, she replied with, I cant keep time, but maybe 10 minutes. Remember, from when I released my dog until she returned with her was under 6 minutes! If my dog really was aggressive (side note she passed with flying colors at two other day cares which she regularly attends) why did the staff think it was a good idea to expose her to more campers? Further, if she is that aggressive, why even expose her to the first camper? Why was a human interaction evaluation not performed first? Im glad my dog did not pass here. I would be totally uncomfortable with having her be a camper here and subjected to this as a potential tester.
Camp Bow Wow has always taken amazing care of my fur children. Earlier this year, I used a different facility that was recommended by a family member, but both my pups & I had a horrible experience. I wont make that mistake again. While not the cheapest, I find Camp Bow Wow to be an amazing value! The staff is so gracious, patient & honest & the web cams help me feel secure that my pupps are in good hands.
We left our dog for 3 nights they were very easy to work with and they remembered all the dogs names there its so cute! i like the fact you can bring the dogs over night blanket and toys so they have something from home. also i love the perk of being able to check in on him on the cameras whenever i want to.
I love Camp Bow Wow. Our dog, Lucy, means everything to my husband and me. There is no other place we would take her for daycare or boarding. The staff there is phenomenal. Lucys tail starts wagging as soon as we pull into their parking lot, which shows how much she loves to go there.
My 1 yr old chocolate lab was boarded there for a week earlier this month and she usually is great with any boarding experience she’s had. I picked her up on that Friday and they mentioned a hot spot on her leg which she has never had problems with hot spots or licking in the past. When I got her home I noticed she had about 20 hotspots on her legs and bottom Ended up taking her to vet and she was diagnosed with a skin infection (not hotspots) and is now on antibiotics. I wish I was called during the week about the appearance of skin lesions as I would have had a family member come pick her up from camp. Unfortunately will not be taking her back to Camp Bow Wow :(
My dog, Mica, cannot be caged. She is a very anxious dog when she is away from her people. Camp Bow Wow is the only place where she is happy and engaged when we are away. Occasionally, she wont eat without us and the staff goes out of their way to make sure she eats and stays healthy. Thank you so much for your exceptional care.
Update:I spoke to the manager when dropping off Abby for her day/night stay. She explained to me why they can not do some things that I was wondering but I could pay a small fee for Abby to have some one on one time. Completely fine with me.As we picked Abby up she of course was excited to see us and is now past out on the couch. I definitely know that I will not be as worried about her as I was the first time. She’s in good hands and I’m glad I chose camp bow wow then somewhere else.My Abby is a very high energy red tick coonhound. I was looking at Camp Bow Wow for about a month till I decided to take her in for an interview. She passed as I knew she would. The girls during the interview was awesome! They made me feel very comfortable sending Abby there. The first drop off Abby instantly remembered the camp and was very excited. However, I wasnt to sure about these girls working this time. Not happy like the first girls I had. So if I didnt feel 100% comfortable how is Abby going to?! I watched the camera ALL day at work. Though Abby seemed she was ok there I was disappointed that all the workers did was stand in the room with the dogs. HOW BORING for them! Get some interaction with the dogs. They know humans... they want to play! Get a few BIG balls and play with them. Teach them to sit. Something!!! Also I will add that Abby will be there over night in just a few days. Now as I was looking at other states cameras I noticed parents can see in their pets over night cabin. however this location you can not. I, as Im sure others would like to see their pet at nighttime being that can be the hardest on our fur babies.
When I lived in Cuyahoga Falls, I took my dog there everyday. I am yet to find another daycare that I love as much as this location. When I go on vacation, I will drive the extra 2 hours, out of my way, to take my dog here for boarding. The staff is amazing and I wish I could pick them up and bring them to the city I live in now :)
Camp Bowwow in Cuyahoga Falls is a lifesaver for me if something comes up and I need to go out of town call camp and book Greta for a night. Greta LOVES to go to camp and play, bark, lay down and just be among other dogs. The camp counselors are all friendly and knowledgeable.
They have too many dogs there at one time not enough staff and they appear to be over work not very friendly. I dont like the ideal of my dog drinking out of the same community of dogs water bowl .They also dont give them enough individual attention if they are having seperation anxiety from their owner.
My Baby girl is all tuckered out!! Spent the day at Camp bow wow and had a blast. I had a great time running my errands. I was able to check on her cia their web cam also had a blast laughing at all the pups and their shenanigans. ALL THE PEOPLE THAT MADE MY BABIES DAY A GOOD ONE THANK U
Camp Bow Wow really cares about your pet. I was nervous dropping him off after a bad experience at another boarder and they assured me they would keep an eye on him. I was able to see him on the cameras while I was away and appreciated the feedback after I picked him up. I highly recommend Camp Bow Wow and wont take my dog anywhere else!
We have decided to board our dogs there. Smells and appears very clean and efficient. Lots of rules and requirements. The only thing we arent real crazy about is the entrance is a very busy street. Wish it was at the back of the building. With multiple dogs, it can be difficult.
Moose ❤ all his 🐶 friends and human friends at Camp and is always exhausted when he comes home. The next few days after some time at camp every trip outside he wants to jump in a vehicle to go back and say hi. Thank you for all you do to make each stay special. Moose & Steve.

2022-01-26Camp Bow Wow has SAVED both my puppy and I. My pup has so much energy and refused to calm down, even with extensive walks and exercise. Every time my pup would run around our tiny apartment with the zoomies, I felt like I was failing him. I knew he needed more intense exercise than what I was giving him. From the time he was four months he has gone to day care at camp bow wow at least once a week. I can not begin to tell you the difference it made. My dog went from being an energetic terror to a giant sweet heart immediately. I can take him around any age or size dog now and he is the sweetest, most laid back dude in the world. The staff is always amazing and sweet, and excited to see every dog that walks in the door. I recommend camp bow wow to every single person I know! Thanks for all the hard work guys! Saving dogs and humans sanity every day ❤️

2022-06-14If I could leave zero Stars I would. I took my nine month old puppy for an interview for boarding. He was put in a large room with about eight unfamiliar dogs and was in there for approximately 20 minutes. He was very timid and afraid because hes not been around that many dogs. The person interviewing him could not pass nor fail him because of his behaviors. He was not aggressive he was not growling he was simply afraid because it was his first time around that many dogs. The girl that interviewed him couldnt give me any further information and I called and left three messages for management. As of today still hadnt gotten a call back and had to call again myself. Im being told that because he is timid he probably isnt a good fit for boarding. Also I was told that I would have to pay for a day of daycare because I had already used my free day at the 20 minute interview. To me it seems like theyre just trying to make money and they dont really care about the dogs. Ive gone on Rover and found a wonderful dog sitter and will never ever consider camp bow wow again. I hope you think about this when you are considering them

2022-03-01Wonderful, friendly, attentive staff. All of the employees appear to love dogs and always know our sons dog name and have something nice to say. Great location, convenient and wonderful hours. Love the doggie cam thats available to view your pet throughout the day. I definitely recommend this business.

2022-02-18Very displeased. Don’t board your pups here!!! I boarded my pup at Little Bowwow this past weekend for 3 days total. When I came to pick her up I hardly got any feedback on how she did even after asking. The bag of food I brought for her was untouched, so she must have ate the food at the camp and threw off her diet. This immediately messed with her bowels for the next few days. After about 3/4 days she had blood in her stool and started to throw up blood. I took her to the vet and she has a GI infection and the vet confirmed that this is a result from boarding her that weekend. I had to spend a couple hundred dollars at the vet and she is now on multiple medications. Big regret boarding her here!!!

2022-06-22We were only in town for a week for a family funeral and they were able to accommodate us for daycare for a few days. It was so nice not having to worry about her or try to figure out what to do with her each day we were there

2022-07-06Friendly staff. They have multiple play rooms so the dogs have plenty of space to move around and play. I like that I can watch my dogs in the play areas with the webcams on the app.

2021-12-24Staff is incredibly friendly, provides detailed information about our dog and facility. Our pup had his first overnight, added on a bath and grooming. He was fresh and clean at pickup and was worn out from his time at camp! Overall would definitely recommend!
