First time stopping here after a karate tournament. Their wings are hands down better than BW3s. Their sauces are homemade and very good. I stopped going to BW3s a few years ago because they are no longer good. I also ordered their pork fries. Highly recommend! It is worth the drive to go here!
Dear C-Town,Ive been a loyal customer since your beginning days on the main drag. So much that you were almost a weekly routine. When you moved it was a bit of a hiccup. We pushed thru. Today marks the last of a series of disappointing visits. Dont get me wrong when your game is on point Ill drop 10 stars but recently it seems youve forgotten your roots. So its a mixed review lets go plus and negative....Plus-I was excited as I walked in and saw as always youre giving back to the community. As a fellow business owner its a must. 20% off for all military current and retired. Not only do you not support our national heros but local by extending the 20% to first responders as well as senior citizens.Negative- We waited and waited until who I assume the head manager got our drink orders. Our server eventually came and took our order. It seemed our server was more focused on cleaning ready to go home vs actually dealing with clients.Plus- My food was absolutely delicious 😋 My wife and I shared meals. We ordered the pizza burger (its a 3/4 pound burger between two 6 pizzas!) Phenomenal!!Negative- although I assume the pizza I ordered my kids was cooked the same time mine were. It was doughy and cool enough when you flipped the cheese over you could tell it hadnt even melted.Plus- Atmosphere! Atmosphere! ATMOSPHERE! Thoroughly enjoy walking in and seeing familiar faces. Its nice to see friends enjoying themselves with family ans friends. Especially in times like now where we are being separated. Its great seeing there is a place we can view and talk to each other in a safe manner.Negative- Did I mention the staff was too focused on other things to do their job? Over and over I watched the smiling faces go from happy content to stern and resentful. I overheard the manager apologize time after time about tables being forgotten.Plus- Did I mention the food is great? Along with Atmosphere the chicken chunks are what makes this place. Even with the food challenge is great.Negative- Youve lost your touch. While the food is great, youve lost your roots. The food is spot on or eh. What seals your fate is the staff. Service is key!
This place has great food and very large portions. They even have one of those super large burgers you can order and if you finish it in 40 mins you get a prize and the burger is free. This is probably a good place to come for medium-large sized groups or when you want large portions. (They do have smaller food options, but in general their food is larger than normal.)
Trashhhh pizza hut in town has better wings now I promise you that youll be disappointed now before they moved locations the food was just different and yes probably the best wings around but now the only reason Id go is for the bar its like the only place in town that serves draft beer
We went in on Taco Tuesday but did not avail ourselves of the Taco bar. Service was very, very good. The sodas were okay (their mix was more soda than pop and I do like mine sweet so I was a little dissapointed). The cheesy bacon fries appetizer was excellent with a great presentation, but when the meals came they were all just so so. My son said his wings were okay but a little more vinegar-y than he liked. I had the Buffalo chicken wrap and had to agree. Each bite induced a leak out the other end of what I could only assume was vinegar and water. In general both just appeared to taste sour. My fiance had one of the fancy salads which she said was okay but she did not finish it which is rare. I give 4 stars for the service and atmosphere but 3 stars overall on the food. Focus a little more on the food and we will return! Until then, Roosters is a better value (although we really prefer to support local, family owned businesses).
The service was fantastic. The wait staff was very attentive and made sure that our drinks were filled etc. The food needed more sauce. Two of the people in our group ordered the bourbon chicken. One ordered wings. Each of them were served almost sauceless. We requested extra sauce which was delivered but the sauce for the bourbon chicken had to be cooked and by the time the sauce arrived the food was nearly cold.
Steak was perfectly cooked, but way over seasoned for my tastes, and cold when I got it. My friends hamburger came with cheese. Baked potato only had a little bit of cheese, a few bites in it was dry. Service was great first half of the meal, but the last half, we waited forever to get the chance to ask for a to go box, and then again to get our check.
Update: June 14, 2022Ended up back at C-town at my sons request. He was headed to basic training, and I thought dinner out, his choice, would be nice. I have historically not been blown away by this place. So I asked him in the car why he wanted to go there? What is it that he orders that made him choose it? He said, their burgers are great. So once there I ordered the bacon cheeseburger. Holy moly, it was fantastic. I asked for it to be cooked medium, it was cooked perfectly. Just delicious. Like a lot of of places, you need to request the mayo/ketchup/ mustard to be put on the burger, and you apply it yourself. I actually prefer that so I can control the amount. The fries that came with the burger were delicious as well... did the awesome burger make them taste better? We ordered appetizers, loaded fries (yum), fried pickles (yum), and onion rings (also yum). Our server was great. The food was great. The family enjoyed the meal. This experience was a 5/5.Update 2 -11-22Hate to say it, still not over the moon. I ordered chicken strips and fries basket... the chicken strips and mac-n-cheese were pretty good. The fries were average. I ended up taking the chicken home to eat because I didnt care for either of the BBQ sauces and decided to take the chicken home to eat with one I like. The server was really nice and tried to help, but this place still not my favorite.Original Post...May be great if youre going out for wings. I ordered the soup and salad bar, which was a little sub par in my opinion. The chili wasnt my favorite and the selections on the salad bar were extremely limited. I was going to go 2 stars, but gave an extra star because there was cubed chicken and ham on the salad bar, it was just too bad there wasnt more to go with it.
We really like the food and atmosphere here. They have friendly and helpful staff. There were 4 in our group. Food that was ordered: half order of Nachos supreme, half order of Chicken Quesadilla, Philly Sub and fries, beef cheeseburger with bacon and fries. Then our soft drinks. The food was great!
Crowded, dirty and the isnt worth it.I got a salad with my meal, which was iceberg lettuce with cheddar cheese a slice of cucumber and 1 cherry tomatoe, anyway the cheese, I believe was bad it smelled like rotten feet.I sent it back with no substitute.I ordered the smothered chicken which was ok a little dry and bland but edible.
We came on from out of town and had a horrible experience.A friend had ordered a pizza to go which was good so a few friend decided to go dine in. From the time we ordered our drinks it went wrong. The food was subpar from the appetizers (one of which I did not order but was told I wouldnt be charged for but Im pretty sure it was snuck in) to the main dish. I would not recommend ANYTHING TO ANYONE other than the pizza maybe.
Unimpressed. Been here before for wings and it was good bit tonight tried other foods and won’t do that again. My scallops were tough and scalloped apples were bland. I liked my daughter’s steak although she thought it was too smoky but her chicken was cold. My hubby’s fries were cold and tenderloin so so. At least the beer Elias cold
Ive been to C-Town twice now. Theres a surprisingly diverse menu for a wings restaurant. Ive had the wings and burgers. Both were delicious, and its rare that I cant finish a burger and side of onion rings, so kudos for nice sized portions. I did not soak any suds whilst there, but I will be back again.
My family orders 2-3 times a week and today we ordered and I never received my baked potato, then the pieces of chicken was so small and this was the second time it happened. My husbands meal had no taste to it at all. He ordered the mushroom and swiss burger well done but it was med rare. We will not order again from there. Their prices dont go down when the service is lousy!!
Only my second time eating here, thanks to covid, no buffet, that saddened me a little, but ordered the Bronco Burger with fries and coleslaw. They didnt disappoint. Big thick juicy 3/4 pound burger patty with BBQ and onion rings. Perfectly cooked french fries and creamy sweet coleslaw. Anytime I come there for work definitely a required stop.
This is a mixed review read it all the way . after seating we ordered and after 4 tables who came in after us with larger groups received there food we finally received ours . 3 of the 4 orders were cold . My sister in law and myself had the steak and smothered chicken . This is a almost 20 plate of food . Ice cold ! The cheese on the chicken was so cold it was hard again . Steak was cold potatoes cold . Burger and fries cold .We sat for over 5 min waiting for our waitress . I asked for a manager . This is why it went from half star to 4 star . Immediately fixed my order adjusted or bill . She was amazing . Second order was amazing . Before this we were ready to never come back but the manager brought it back and the food quality . This is why you should speak up when you are still in the location . It cant be fixed once you leave . Great job on saving my brother in laws 50th birthday dinner .
At buffet. Hostess seated us cleaned the table got are drinks never did we talk with a waitress. Never got bill. We added up what we thought we owed and left on table. Gave the hostess the tip. Food at buffet average at best. This place really went downhill. Wake up or you will be out of business.
The bartender / server was great. The only reason for the two stars. What I think this place biggest issue is they are more focussed on quainty instead of quality. The portions are way over the top espically for the price. Heres your sign! I had a brisket sandwich mac and cheese and fries. The menu reads fresh off the smoker. Perhaps that was a true statement when the menu was printed Im guessing there was over a half pound to 34 of shreaded beef. Too bad it appeared by the dried out and crunchy taste, frozen and reheated. My meal was delivered in. Less than 5 minutes. Maybe some microwave magic? As for the mac and cheese it had been either over cooked or reheated soo many times it required no chewing and had the consistency of oatmeal, but then again plenty. Now we come to the absolute best part of the meal. The French fries ROCK. Kudos hot and cooked to perfection. If quainty is what you looking for this is YOUR place. Otherwise look furtherMark
First time Ive been. Everything was top tier! No where close compares to what they delivered for the amazing prices. Wonderfully cooked prime rib served with an au jus sauce, grade-a traditional chicken wings with homemade sauces, and a great wait staff. Ill be back for sure!
We had a group of 21 people I took here. We had one waitress with some support help. See was fantastic. Everyone got the correct food and it was exceptionally good all around. This was a commendable job. I will not hesitate to return. I did give them advanced notice for this size of group.
We enjoyed our first visit. The sample platter was amazing. We had a hard time deciding what to get for dinner. Ended up with chicken strips and wings. Very good. Ended our meal with the giant turtle trap sundae and shared 5 ways. That was the best! Overall great experience. Cant wait to come back and try something else.
Great service and great food, amazing draft beer section as well! The only thing is our table may have been cut off after one beer at 2:30pm on a Sunday.Yes, we may have hit an elderly lady with a dirty used sock.Yes, we may have thrown a flip flop at a booth with a cute couple having lunch.Yes, we may have been laughing hysterically the entire time way too loud...Actually yes, I would have cut us off too.
Good food. Very nice waitress. She made sure we had plenty to drink. And checked on us several times to see if we needed anything. One thing we didnt like was that we got our salads and then a few minutes later our food came out. We didnt really have time to eat our salads.
This is hard. I so want to like this establishment. The owners do a lot of good things in this community, which is appreciated. The good: the beer selection is good, craft brews are plentiful. The bad: the brisket sandwich was poor. A large hunk of fat right on top, which could of been easily trimmed off by the cook. No smoke flavor, tasteless. Service was poorSat at the bar, coleslaw came out a few minutes after the sandwich and fries. Had to get my own condiments and napkins.
C-Town is a great local place for wings as well as a buffet with a good selection. The food has always been hot and wings are on the Buffet! Many sauces are available which are great! You may have to wait in line but I havent had to at lunch time yet. The service has always been good and friendly. Management is great and kind to workers and community.
Brisket Nachos are not good at all very little cheese, very oily, not enough brisket. Wings are very good though we ordered the bbq and mild flavor. They had a very good taste just small in quantity and size. The dessert was so good we got half size of the warm brownie with vanilla ice cream. Once we ordered food came very quick.
The service we had was pretty good! I had the traditional wings, not were they dry and not covered in sauce very well. The prices were reasonable. The jalapeno poppers we had as a starter were very good.It really prolly deserves a 3.5. but not a 4. If you call yourself a wings place, better make them pretty good!
Mid-afternoon visit. Pizza, salad bar, catfish and smoked wings. The pizza was good, very cheesy and good flavor. Salad bar has very limited selection for the price charged (hospital cafeteria in Troy has a better salad bar if that is an indication), and some of the lettuce was turning bad. No mesclun or spinach or darker greens than romaine, not a lot of toppings. The fish was just okay, not much seasoning and only a little cup of tartar sauce, lemon on the side would be nice. The wings were very dried out. The waitress, while she came around a couple of times, didnt remove plates from the table and had to be sent back for a pizza box. Nothing special about the atmosphere. Not a great experience for the price, probably wont be back.
Ive been here multiple times and always had a great experience. Huge portions, quality food, quality service, great atmosphere, and very reasonable prices. My latest meal was the Cobb salad with grilled chicken. I ate until I was stuffed and still had half a salad left to take home.
Food was great but the servers could have been a bit friendlier...they acted like they werent exactly pleased for us to be there. Aside from the attitude, it is worth a stop because the food was good. Four stars because of the service and the fries were a bit over cooked.
I usually love going here but service was lacking this time. Waited over an hour for our food and finally got it 15 minutes before they closed. While waiting we watched people that were seated after us get their food and finish, another table get the wrong order and have their corrected order brought to the table. Server never said anything was wrong so we didn’t understand why it was taking so long. I love coming here but don’t know what happened today.
We enjoyed the decor and I loved the bloody Mary. My pork nachos were good but it was a lot of pork. The layout is a little strange with waiters and waitresses getting drinks right behind the bar patrons. My boyfriends fries were cold and he got less than the couple next to us. The bartender did get us new ones.
Food was so so, I was looking for new and exceptional. I have had some amazing wood fired pizza but unfortunately it wasnt today. The staff however, were awesome, friendly and attentive. Atmosphere was quite nice, clean and comfortable. I will come back again, eventually, and hope buffet no longer has the tv dinner flavored salsibury steak and meatloaf but are replaced with something brilliant to talk about. Being a new business I feel I have to give them a try again.
EVERYTHING is good here! Amazing ribs, burgers and boneless chicken chunks!! Their Big Ten Bloody Mary is one of the best out there, its served with a virtual buffet of veggies and shrimp in the glass! They have a salad bar and offer a Sunday brunch buffet. Nice patio seating as well.
The food is good for bar food. Used to be great downtown. They close at 10pm on Tuesday nights. We got there at 8:30 pm. Even asked if we should go somewhere else and then as told come on in but nothing says get out more than dirty mop water being sloshed 5’ from you when your trying to eat. We felt rushed to get the hell out. Fought we will be back again. That’s to bad too.
Busy, so locals love it. Us, not so much bc while the food is good, the service good, that atmosphere is loud, and bc of the outdoor seating, flies... steak was ordered med well, but almost mooed...did not complain, but not as ordered. Only second time there...critique holds from 7 mo ago to last week...like I said, its busy, so locals must like it. Were not locals...
We frequently make the half hour trip to Celina to eat here. The menu has great variety, and the Sunday buffet always has awesome dishes. My particular favorite is the BLT that boasts a full pound of bacon. YUM! The portions here are HUGE, so keep that in mind when you order an app to go with your meal- even if you just get a half app, youll likely end up taking home most of your meal. Seriously. Happens to us almost every time. Its a popular place, so sometimes the wait is pretty long, but we think its worth it! Its clean and kept up well, and weve never had a negative experience with a staff member.
So I ordered a lunch special for my lunch break i work right around the corner. I ordered it for about 10 minutes before I even goto break so I knew it would be ready. I pull up to their drive thru window and ended up sitting the about five or six minutes just waiting for someone to come to the window. When your on your thirty minute break time is precious which is why I ordered ahead of time. By the time someone came to figure out what I needed I didnt have enough time to eat so I asked for a refund. They do have good food but it looks like they wont get my business for lunch thats for sure. Best they could say was sorry the bell didnt go off...Four different people walked by the window and looked right at me. Way to treat a paying customer guys.
For two weeks in a row we came here for a burger. When we told the wait staff that the burgers were overcooked for our specific order and the wrong condiments were on mine and the fries were rubbery and cold, we were met with indifference and a full check. We will not be back. I would suggest to people to bypass this one, it is sub-par food and not worth the stop.
We Will NEVER EVER EAT HERE AGAIN. We went on A Saturday night. My wife and I and her family. We had 8 people in our group. The service was decent for being as busy as they were. We ordered wings. The mother in law ordered pork nachos. Father in law ordered a burger and 2 year old got mac-n cheese. The wings and nachos didnt have any flavor. I felt cheated out of 10 dollars for the measly portion of wings also. The daughter threw up five times after eating the mac n cheese.i see positive reviews but maybe the cooks werent on their game on the busiest night of the week. I dont know how this place is still in buisness.
I have been here three times. The first time i received a very dry hamburger. The second time I ordered bourbon chicken. When the chicken came it was chunks of chicken breast in a sauce. It was dry and stringy. The third time we went they had a band and it was so loud you couldnt hear yourself think. We didnt stay and eat. Three strikes and they are out.
First time experience! The Bar Tender Was Absolutely Amazing (Jennifer Fourman)!!! She was QUICK to fill my drink & keep it filled & to make sure I was completely satisfied the whole time I was there! The Food Was Fabulous! The Restaurant Was Very Clean & the Servers Were Nice ! 5 Stars From The In To The Out! -JKountry-
Ist time Staff was great food was good just needed more sauce on the wings was kind of just drizzled on top not dipped.Just ordered food. And picked it up this time . Online says fish chips coleslaw and hush puppies for 13.99 wich would be worth 13.99. Only got fries and coleslaw with it. so called and they say they dont make hush puppies no more . Didnt offer any kind of credit for false advertising not to mention ordered one regular and one cajun order and neither taste cajun will never go back fish was not crunchy fries were kinda slimy and didnt get what we ordered.
When we ordered they were out of multiple things including beer and a wing sauce. We ordered wings, porkchops, bourbon chicken and fish. Service was good but the wings were undersauced. Sauces overall were imbalanced and everything we ordered was either over or under seasoned. It was our first time here and we definitely will not be back.
Everytime I go to C-town wings its usually a bad a experience. Went there tonight sat for 10 minutes before we were helped. Someone finally took our drinks and said our waitress would be right with us. Another 10 minutes go by and our waitress took our food. Didnt get my salad until after we got our food. My wings were cold. My curly fries were undercooked. Waitresses were standing around staring, not doing anything. One of the waitresses even bumbed into my friend and didnt apologize. All in all was a bad experience.
My waitress was fenominal. I had a shrimp appetizer that was overcooked and she instantly got a new one for us. That said all of my meat was overcooked including the new appetizer and my burger, that was listed to be cooked medium well. Granted this is a new restaurant, but the food was not done well what so ever
My spoon served in my cottage cheese had what appeared to be chocolate still stuck to the back of it after I took the first bite. My glass of Pepsi had what appeared to be bread stuck on the inside of the glass. My Wife ordered a chicken fajita wrap without mushrooms but it came with them anyway. Not a good evening meal.
Rave reviews from the place I spent the day at working from the locals so I decided to go there and I sat at the bar and immediately the person behind the bar was extremely rude to me some guy which apparently he was the bar manager and I didnt really bother much with that you know people have bad days it is what it is so I ordered the 24 ounce steak and I waited 45 minutes for it which I understand it actually has to be ordered medium and under not a big deal I ordered it medium rare which is perfect and I get it back in its well over medium definitely well so I cut it and he asked me hows it look and I said what do you think and he says oh I see pink in there I said are you serious theres no paint mind you and Im color blind but I can f****** see pink he was very arrogant and I said I would like something else after he offered it so he said theyd cook me another steak and then after his attitude I said you know what screw it just give me my bill and Im done and he said if theres a problem you can leave now and I said no are you serious so I dont know who this red headed manager is but he deserves to be fired Ive never actually experienced the manager out of all my traveling that was such an a******
Slightly overpriced took 10 minutes at 9:00 p.m. for server to come to our table and it wasnt even the correct server. I always hear how terrible the work environment is there from the waitresses they come to my establishment. I dont see them doing No better. Every time I come here its other a 3 hour wait or A badd experience. I will never recommend this place

2022-07-12Pros: Great atmosphere! Loved the mushrooms for the appetizer. They were fried with some nummy batter, but Im glad we only got half a portion because there was a lot. My hubbys review of the pizza was, Id come back, and thats a high review for him. Mac N Cheese was rich and creamy. BLT was ginormous and so good.Cons: Hamburgers were too big for me, but thats just a preference. Fries were small and wimpy, drenched in grease. Ran into a problem when we left a purse there and, just as we drove back into the parking lot, they said they couldnt find it. My daughter ran in and it was at the front desk. Makes me wonder if the girl wed talk to on the phone really looked. However, you never know what happens behind the scenes.Overall, Id eat there again and only nocked them a star because some of the sides were not that good.

2022-05-17First time here. Best waitress Ive had anywhere since before the pandemic. I didnt favor the the way there wings were done; almost like they were naked. But that is the style some prefer. I prefer more bedding but thats just me. Beer selection was acceptable. I will try chucks next time. They had a lunch buffet when we arrived and while doing a pad over what was there, it was really hard to pass up, but I wanted to try their wings. Great atmosphere and it seems like they know how to do food and service right.

2022-07-20Fantastic gem that still does a buffet as well as a menu. Deep fried mushrooms ( needed another minute) were abundant and delicious. I liked there small pizza enough, I dont remember what my wife had. But will return. Keep up the good work. Wait staff good, friendly and attentive.

2022-03-30The restaurant was really nice and clean! The waiter was friendly and asked us if we needed anything promptly without being a nuisance. The food is a bit pricy, but understandable because of the larger sizes. My husband had a steak, which he had medium well. It came out perfect the only downside was the seasoning. The seasoning I think isnt meant for steak and the only thing that made it better was A1. He said his shrimp and macaroni and cheese was amazing! I had the garlic parmesan boneless chicken with fries. I wish they had that as a regular side with wings because boneless wings there normally dont come with a side. The sides are $3.69 each I believe. So my meal all together was around $18 and my husbands was $30 around. This place is nice for date nights, yes they have kids options but I dont believe this really meant for kids. Overall a great a place to go. It also has a bar inside but I never been there!

2022-03-07Great food and atmosphere! The service was exemplary. The only issue was the room we rented was just outside the kitchen so there was a lot of foot traffic in and out. And the room could have been a little tidier. It seemed to serve as a storage area of sorts. But we will go back!

2022-07-02All 6 of us really enjoyed all of our food and the beer was exceptionally cold! Loved the pulled pork and the smoked wings. They did a really nice job on the blackened Mahi Mahi and everything that came out of the wood fired grill was delicious. We will definitely be back

2021-06-30All of our food was barely even warm.We didnt order the buffet because of wanting fresh wings... not the case today! Thank goodness we only ordered 6 wings... ate 2 of them. The CBR Sub is small chopped breaded chicken chunks... that was barely warm. Glad I order my tomato on the side not much of a fan for the core haha. Our waitress came to ask what we wanted to order and then forgot about us! Until it was time to bring the check. She did give us a small discount... that was appreciated. Still over 40 bucks for a dinner I didnt even eat. However the hand breaded mushrooms were amazing... even the surprise chicken chunks hidden in there lol.Beer was good as well.

2020-08-18This place is one of my favorites. I’ve eaten here for years while stopping through Celina, from its smaller and jam-packed location downtown, to the newer and expanded building just off of Highway 29 on Havemann Road. I like the homey, “Ohio authenticity” feel of this place. Great down to earth staff. I have an addiction to their Garlic Parmesan Wings. Help me Jesus. There’s also a full menu with wonderful Sea Scallops and a variety of other dishes. The most important place in Celina besides City Hall.
