Wanted a truck, nothing was coming in but got something a little better for a starter anyways. I needed something for my mini horse since it will be trained as a service horse, she/he needed to travel in the vehicle with me. Crushed my heart I could not get a truck. But can later. My seller - Brandon McLucas was absolutely a gem. ;)
So I was in a really bad spot an needed a vehicle so I seen Coreys Facebook add . I ask questions and he responded very quickly. I made a appointment after feeling a on line application and being pre-approved. When I got to the car lot I went in not knowing if I would leave with a vehicle. Dont have the best credit but I kept a open mind. Corey delt with me because he was the only person there an he did a awesome job for a one man show. Needless to say he went above and beyond to get me in a vehicle same day and he did . I couldnt be happier about my purchase. So if youre in need of a vehicle check them out and ask for Corey .
Got a car from here and it keeps breaking down and it has not even been three years. I highly discourage ANYONE from getting ANY car from here. If you do then I feel sorry for you.Even with the response from owner at the bottom of this review means nothing. I called and they transferred my call to an answering machine. Their response to the one star reviews is ALL FOR SHOW.I would give a good review if it was true but it is not. I give honest reviews to help other consumers spend their hard working money the right way and at the right place.
The salesman Corey really treated me and my husband well and we were able to get into a vehicle the same day with a trade-in and $100 down and it was great because I was in such a bind and didnt know how I was going to get back and forth to work but JD byrider helped me in my husband Im getting five stars in the way we were treated was awesome
Great service Department all of my repairs were covered under my warranty. They called me right after they received my vehicle and had already diagnosed what was wrong and had already ordered the parts. The very next day they had received the parts and had it fixed by end of the day. Great job guys, thanks so much!!!
I cannot thank everyone enough that helped me yesterday. Thank you Rick hunter, Thank you Brandon for staying late and making sure I got this car I wanted he went above and beyond the whole team did Im so grateful. After getting turned down and given the run around everywhere else I went I wasnt sure it was going to happen for me. It was late already I was going to come back the next day but he made sure I left with the Honda that day. Very kind very helpful. Its really going to turn my life around I appreciate you all so much have no idea what this means to me
This is a warning to ALL that are trying to buy a vehicle from here (JD byrider). I got a Chevy equinox from them about two years going on three and I’ve got nothing but PROBLEMS from the car. I have call them and asked if I can have them fix it or at least give me a trade with a vehicle with same value as the one the sold me but they said they could not.Within those two years I’ve had to change the alternator, the wheel bearings, the doors can’t open unless opened from the outside, and the ABS keeps popping up on the dash board. It’s a moving money guzzler.SO THIS IS A WARNING TO ANY AND ALL THAT LOOK TO BUY A VEHICLE FROM HERE.Thank you and God Bless
I have been with JD Buyrider for almost 3 years they have help keep my Jeep commander running great for years . Now I use to go to the Dayton mall store and to be honest I feel like they just stop caring so my friend told me to look for a different store and that’s when I found the one in Fairfield. So my Jeep keep over heating and I have had it at the Dayton mall store 3 times for the issue each time they said it was fine and did nothing the Fairfield store had my Jeep for like 2 hours and they found the issue and because it’s something the other store should of taking care of or at the very least told me about the Fairfield store didn’t even charge me for it and it wasn’t something covered under my warranty ....... I love this Jeep and I plan on having it for years to come and thanks to the honest and hard working people at the Fairfield store she’s back to running great ..... I’ll never take her anywhere else but there from now on . Thank you for all you do it means more then you know .....
They sold me a car that had something wrong with it. Had it back like 6 or 7 times never fixed . The last time I called them I had not heard from them all day they would not answer me. Called from a different phone they answered. They said get a renter car it was 430. Still havent heard from them it is the next day. They should have fixed that car before saleing it. They fixed and trashed my car it is dirty had to throw away seat covers. Just got the in feb this was in the paperwork to fix this stuff. They had it a week almost and my car was on e had to gas station first thing low fule light was on. I hope it is fixed. They have fixed it .
Brandon Mc Lucas was very nice and made sure I went home with a vehicle he was very amazing customer service was very out standing , Compassionate as well as kind and professional!! I would most definitely be referring friends and family to JD ‘S THEY WILL MEET YOUR NEEDS CUSTOMER SERVICE SATISFACTION GUARANTEED💪
This is an updated post. I came in today, and left in a nice car! They were very friendly, and willing to do whatever it took to make me satisfied. I didnt have a very good experience 3 years ago when I shopped here, but its all new people, and management. Give them a try!!!!
First of all, i’m paying 20,000 dollars for a 5,000 dollar car that barely even runs and that they clearly did not fully inspect before i bought it. It needs service at least once a month, and when i try and call for service they literally avoid me. don’t try leaving a voicemail because they will never respond. i’m fed up, i’m being taken advantage of and i’m reaching out to corporate tomorrow. this is absolutely ridiculous and no one should ever buy a car here. i cannot wait to pay off that pos and make y’all deal with it.
This was the most amazing experience I have ever had buying a car in my life! Jay and Cory are absolutely amazing. Above and beyond to put me in something fantastic. I love my new car....I will not ever go anywhere else now!! I did not think they could get me in a car, They did it! Visit here Today! :)
I would leave 0 stars if it would let me.. dont go here for a car... unless you want them to refuse signing off the lien as the lienholder when you pay it off. fraudulent scamming company. beware unless you want to go to the bbb & News stations to get them off your paperwork! this place should be shut down!!
They scheduled a appointment, and took it in as scheduled and contacted me the same day and let me know exactly what was wrong, and quoted me a price and then asked for my permission on what I wanted done. And within 2 days my truck was back on the road, It felt like a new vehicle I was driving, not the 15 year old it was when I took it in, Thank you byrider for the fadt and efficient service, I know now where to rake my vehicles if something goes wrong
I have a 2012 Dodge Journey that got from you,and which I have maintained in inner and outer condition, and which runs perfectly well according to the mechanics that test drive it before I was seeking a trade in for it.After I have paid off this vehicle, I would have paid over 14k for this vehicle. You offered me only a little less than 4k for my vehicle as a trade in despite of the fact that my vehicle is essentially in the same condition that I got it in, I have never once been late on a payment, and I had a balance of $3500 left on my vehicle. You essentially asked me to accept 4k for a vehicle that I would have paid over 14k for.Thats like taking a 10k loss...
They told me I had to go somewhere else to get an oil change even though theyre the location that we finance the car from. When we called about possibly fixing a rim issue (good old Cincinnati potholes) they told us they didnt do those kind of repairs. What do they do at this location? Just sell cars? After my review they contacted me to address my feedback. Its the same number that I called for our service requests. So why would I call back to speak with someone who already told me they couldnt help us with either of our service needs?
I called. Said I would be in, and Rob was standing their waiting on me. Rob worked soo hard along with the manager to get me approved. They literally didnt take no for an answer from the financial company. They literally walked me through everythingAnd I got approved, and I am in the worst spot anyone could be in. The only reason I didnt get a car same day was because I had to pick up my daughter. As for pple upset about the car not being decent...they give you a great warranty. I will buy my next car there.
I called to see why they lied and deceived our senior mother. Brandon answered the phone, was completely unprofessional and didnt want to help. Actually he hung up on me. They lie and cheat to make a sale. Im sure they will try and reply to this review and deny it. Will be filing charges of deception and fraud.
I was contacted about doing business with JD Byrider in October of last year, and I wish I wouldve then. The service was great in a no pressure environment. They worked with me and found me a reliable car with a great price. I was blown away with how fast they worked to get me in my new car in such a timely manner.
Due to my credit not being the best, I definitely paid more than I wanted to for this vehicle. However, they have a great warranty program and Brandon, our salesman, was fabulous and honest about everything we asked him. If you are not in the best spot financially I would highly recommend coming in and seeing Brandon to help you out!!
DO NOT GET A CAR HERE!!! We had just got a car from here. This is the third time in a month we had to bring it back for them to fix. They were kind enough to get us a rental car. 1 day before the rental car is due back we call them to see how much longer they will have the car (we dropped it off 5 days prior) they said they are just now pulling it in to look at it and will let us know what is wrong with it. Like seriously?!?
J.D. Byrider had been good to me from the start. The sales guy and one other stayed for hours after close to help get me In my car. Ive had to bring my car into their shop 3 times in 4 years, twice for Minor reasons, and those 2 minor visits they didnt charge me a dime. The staff are always so friendly and courteous. You are made to feel more like family than a client. I would recommend ANYONE to start your car shopping here.
**Update** I did take the car back and got a quality car right up the road. I wouldnt recommend this dealership to my worst enemy. I would recommend going to a buy here pay here that is not based on credit or build your credit up and wait a bit and go elsewhere. People look at this place and think its a good deal because you dont have to have a ton of money down and they claim your credit wont matter. What they dont tell you is that the prices of their cars are grossly overpriced, your interest rate will be tremendously high if you have a lower credit score and the cars arent the best quality. I learned the hard way but hopefully this review will save someone else the hassle. This is my second week owning the car and Ive been to their service center 2x for the same issues! Took it to my mechanic and he told me all the issues wrong and is going to fix them for me. They claim their cars undergo a 90pt inspection and that the technicians are ASE certified, but my mechanic who is Peruvian does a better job than they do. Still considering whether or not Im going to give them back their junk car.
This is the second vehicle my husband and I have purchased through JD Byrider. We have been so pleased with the service from all the associates at the Fairfield location. This time around Ryan Day helped to get us driving. He was professional and friendly, keeping us in the loop through each step of the process. We were at the facility for less than 2 hours before driving out with our new car! Also want to give a big thank you to the financing department and the sales manager for their part in our new car process. I have already recommended JD Byrider to friends and family and will continue to do so in the future. And to add to this review the service center is consistently the best car repair experience I have had! Missy is the best!!! And both vehicles always drive great afterwards!
I have had a car from Jd Byrider for almost 4 years, and we just bought a new one last night. The service we received from Kevin B. And Kayla B. Was awesome. They where great and helpful with all my question. We appreciate all they did for us to buy our new car. Thanks so much!Mr. & Mrs. Goins
Kayla was our salesperson, very professional and handled everything going on. The whole buying process was very nice. Would refer and recommend my friends there anytime!!!! I give Kayla and Dan an A+. We bought our SUV on July 4th and so thankful for being treated like an actual person and not just a sale. Dan was there with us an hour after the business closed. Makes me want to go buy another vehicle from them.....(kinda slow with the process, we were there for 5 hours)Thanks for the EXCELLENT JOB OF BEING THE BEST,Crystal Smith and Damien Hutzelman 7/4/2017
Not a fan of this place. I personally will never buy a car from them. My son however wants a car they have so we got him approved but, They still would not let him take the car home do to some BS paperwork. Update we got the BS paperwork they wanted and still was not enough for them. How can you approve somebody with a tier 3 level which equates to about 85% of what is on your lot but you wont let him buy a car. They wasted 2 days of my time and patience. The only reason they got a star is because I had to give them 1.
My old vehicle just wasnt making it anymore and I had been putting off purchasing any vehicle because of the whole process that you have to go through. My credit and income arent the greatest, so I know if I went to most dealerships I wouldnt qualify, that is even if I could get someone to assist me. You know those kind where the salespeople cherry pick their intended customers based on how much commission they believe they can make. Its so humiliating. Of course there is always private sales, but unless you know the person you have no idea what you are getting and there is no warranty. There is also traditional buy here/pay here lots, but I have heard horror stories about them. So I did some checking about J. D. Byrider and how they do business. I read some reviews that customers posted and was going to hope for the best. My trade-in vehicle was 20 years old and in danger of the engine blowing up. It was basically a scrap vehicle on 4 good tires. So with limited credit and low income and not a real trade in, I was taking a major chance of driving away in something that was not going to have the engine blow on my way home.I went in for my appointment, a day earlier than I anticipated (just didnt want to take any more chances). Was hoping that someone would be able to talk with me. Right away I was greeted and was told that a sales person would be with me in just a few minutes. It felt good to wait a few minutes, it meant that other people trusted J. D. Byrider also. The customer service person assisting me was Rick Warning. I say customer service because he truly gave me good service. Rick is not a used car salesman. There was no pressure, Rick explained everything to my satisfaction, asked about what I needed in a vehicle and took me through the application process. Rick then took me on a tour and told me about the different employees and their functions and how I might need their services in the future. I saw the shop where the vehicles were worked on, the ones for sale as well as the ones customers brought in for service. I was very impressed. After that I met with Sara who was my assigned underwriter. Sara took me through the credit process and after a short time was able to tell me what vehicles I would qualify for. I was so happy that I had several to pick from, but through our previous conversation, Rick already knew which one I would be happiest with. So I chose 3 to test drive. The one that Rick knew I would be happiest with was my first to drive. I drove around for about 20 minutes. Rick was right, I was extremely happy with the Buick LeSabre. It was a great ride and had plenty of room in it for me being a large size person. To me a car is transportation, Im not picky about style/color/accessories, Im want a good, solid vehicle that runs well. So I stopped to have a friend check it out. We scrutinized the vehicle, looked at the engine, trunk, made sure doors, windows, all the interior components were working well and with no signs of issues major or minor. Outside of a few minor scratches (which was less than expected for a 10 year old car), the vehicle was perfect. I drove back to meet up with Rick and told him I that he was so right this was the perfect vehicle for me and I didnt even want to look at anything else. After a little while longer, completing paperwork I am the proud owner of a Buick LeSabre. But the kudos goes to Rick. He made the experience an awesome one and just by sitting and talking with me for a short time, he knew exactly what I was looking for even if I didnt. The entire experience far exceeded any expectations I had. Rick was amazing. Sara was awesome crunching the numbers with me. Oh and did I mention 2 year/24,000 mile limited warranty. Plus $5 oil changes while car is being financed. Its a win/win/win situation. By making payments on time, Im fixing my credit, while I drive a vehicle that is perfect for me and includes a warranty and with $5 oil changes, I dont have a reason not have get one every 3 months/3,000 miles.
My husband and I bought a 2009 Dodge Caliber a little over a year ago at JD Byrider. the sales experience was great no issues there. High APR, which was expected anyways, but we were able to get into something we could afford for now since my previous car was falling completely apart. We were told after a year we could come back and trade it in for something newer. When we first got the vehicle, the drivers side tire kept going flat. We could fill it up and a couple weeks later the car would have the low tire light come on. Also the passenger side mirror doesnt work: it will move up and down but not side to side. Also they replaced a speaker and it went out again.Things we were told would be covered under the warranty are now not covered. Also, we called to see about a trade after a year, then they said we had to get it down to only $10,000 owed on it. Then they changed it again, saying it had to be down to $5,000 then again said it had to be down to $2500.We were told it had only had one owner and then used as a rental car. Went to another dealership to see if we could get something newer: come to find out it has been in a previous wreck and has had 4 owners before us. Now we are stuck. Cant do anything. We just feel like we keep getting the run around. Only reason im giving two stars is because the sales experience was great, just the aftermath is annoying and upsetting. We feel like are just screwed.
Very pleasant experience! Ive had some horror stories of dealings with car repair shops in the past. I honestly didnt expect to get the excellent service that I received at JD Byrider. Sorry to say that guys... But hey, you changed my mind on that and all I can say is thank you for a very pleasant experience! I would return again and again for service like this.
I got my car from here 3 years ago and since then I have always been happy with their service until today. I called spoke to Missy last week made a appointment to have my looked at and I even called Tuesday to confirm my appointment and let them know my ac isnt working and the woman confirmed my appointment for Thursday at 9:30. I drive 45 minutes to find out I never had a appointment scheduled. The man I spoke to was rude and said he could fit me in maybe 1-3 days. I am a full time working mom, I cant be without my car. I did reschedule the appointment but now I have to wait another week..I will be looking else where now for services.. you guys have always been great till today.
The process was a little long but everything did finally come together. They have very cold air conditioning that needed to be adjusted for customers comfort. We had to go outside to get warm during steps process. We did end up after returning two days later with getting a nice car. 11-13-18 adding more. we had to return twice to get front brakes replaced. The first time they said they did it and didnt. Ten another appt was made for the same problem. And this time the work was done.
I worked with Vincent Cook through the whole thing. I loved how he constantly kept me informed about everything that was going on. He was always trying to help me figure out things and was patient during some of the process.I plan on coming back to help my sons get there first car when they are ready to make that big purchase. I do hope that Vincent is still here when they do do that. Thanks for the wonderful experience!!!!
I had the best experience with Brandon mclucas and I cant tell you how greatful I am for that man but here recently I got into a crash and I went to him he told me what I needed to do being the great person he is but I have been waiting 2 weeks to get another car cause their insurance wont go look at my car. Right now I am paying for something I cant get. I have pretty much everything in my car and I cant get it cause I have to wait for them and it is very frustrating. I get that byrider cant do anything for how long it takes but their insurance are partners and it sucks that I dont have another car so I am walking back and for to work.
Worked with me to get me into a vehicle... couldnt do it the first day (Saturday) because I needed another piece of info for them, went back on Monday and got into a car. It just wasnt meant for me to get it Saturday because I was looking for a mazda and they didnt have one ready, on Monday, they had a BEAUTIFUL mazda 6 that was ready to go, was actually getting washed to be put on the lookout while I was looking! And it was a better price than the other vehicles I was looking at!! My salesman, Dan, was great!! Great and friendly staff who work with you to get you what you need!! This is my second car with them. Thanks JD Byrider!!
I think we were sold a big ol Lemon. But whats worse is the Service Dept cant seem to get it right. The generic response from the company owner to my original review is useless. My husband has been in constant contact, the car has been with the Service Dept more than its been with us. It just keeps worsening! First, the car we were promised and agreed to purchase was sold to someone else. We should have run then, realizing we had dodged a bullet! So then, my husband purchased an SUV. 2 weeks later, and he still never had possession of it because it needed repairs (but the finance company still had to be paid). Then once he finally got possession of it, it shut down on him in the first few minutes/miles that he drove it off the lot. It was towed to Service; they replaced the starter. So now my husband has been driving it this time about a week. Well, surprise. Its not starting as it should. Auto Zone just tested this starter; this one failed too. Wow! Shame on this Service Dept. Wheres your integrity? Where are your repair skills?
Initially, there was a mix up in communication regarding the process of the 30 day service. This process repaired obvious parts and service that was not completed prior to purchase. Although the initial appointments were confusing, the service manager, Bob took control of the problem.Bob gave me an estimated timeframe for the repairs. It was completed 30 minutes prior to the estimated time. Bob was courteous and professional In taking care of my car services. My car is driving very well. Even though the initial transactions started out rocky, it was completely turned around. Therefore, I’m giving this survey 5 stars.
Very dissatisfied with cnac. I will not recommend them to anyone! They had made a payment arrangement with me while I was on maternity leave from work and then repossessed my vehicle anyway two days before the arrangement was even due. Then I made another arrangement to make two consecutive payments by today’s date and then I would be able to reclaim my vehicle with a fresh start and now they are refusing to give me back my vehicle and I’ve met every arrangement they have made with me. I made the second payment today and they said my vehicle is being sold on October 10th. I will be contacting an attorney! DO NOT REFER ANYONE TO THEM!
Went in 1/4/19 to see about purchasing a car and was greeted immediately. Customer service was excellant and Bob the new sales manager helped me get started and everyone was very helpful and I did purchase a car. I would definately recommend them to anyone who has credit issues or not go see them at J.D. Byrider in Fairfield,Ohio
I bought a 2012 Malibu from here a week ago, before i even drove off the lot the check engine light came on. It runs and drives but needs a new computer. Service agreed to fix it. My co-signer is a mechanic by profession and put the car on his lift at his shop and found a rear main seal leak. I mentioned this to good ol Bob and he refused to fix it, even tho the part is under warranty. He said that the leak wasnt big enough to fix. This is absolutely absurd, no where in my contract does it say that warrantied parts are to be fixed at the service managers descretion. Im a single mom with a toddler, and to my understanding letting a leak such as this one go without attending to it could lead to problems with the engine and transmission to the point they would both need replaced. Its incredibly sad how little Bob cares about the safety of the vehicles and their passengers he and his crew are putting on the roads and selling to people for 3x as much as they are worth. He would rather me potentially break down with a small child in the car, than fix an issue covered by the dealership warranty. I called corporate and they advised me to call the general manager, tiffany, which i did. Surprise i have not recieved a call back. I hope to get better service at one of the other locations as Bob is so rude and crass, i do not have the mental capacity to deal with him again. I will contact a lawyer if i need to, they have been extremely unprofessional.
This company sold my husband a complete lemon! He financed the vehicle in late 2015 and we have had to get the vehicle fixed every 3 months since then, literally. Everything from the timing belt, to the wheel bearings, to the transmission that went out not even a year after we purchased the vehicle! Which costed us over 3,000 to get fixed! Also, the customer service is horrible, unfriendly, and they are insensitive! I would NOT recommend anyone to do business with J.D Byrider! Take your money and time elsewhere in hopes of saving you a headache and misery!
I only put one star because there was no way I could put 0 stars. I will never recommend this place to anyone. Terrible customer service. They treated us like children and told us to “grow up” and that it was our fault our contact information was incorrect when previously we had been contacted with the correct information. Because of THEIR mess up our credit is screwed. When contacting them about possibly fixing their mistake we were basically called idiots the whole time. Not only that but we have been waiting for MONTHS for their insurance to contact us about fixing our car. If anyone is desperate for a car do NOT go to J.D. Byrider. I’d much rather walk everywhere than have to deal with their rude service again.
...I gave a great review.but after four days they called wanting the car back saying I falsified the application.that was totally false and I told them that I was working at my Job but I was switching employers.but, that wasnt good enough!!! They took the car before the first payment was due and didnt return not one cent of my down payment (700.00)!!!! They basically robbed me!! I will never ever do business with JD byrider again. I drive a semi for a living and Uber on the wend, Im going to tell everyone I come across my experience with JD Byrider!!!! They will lose more than 700.00 dollars before its over with!!!! And how the owner reviews this and he talks to Jay the sales rep, because Jay knows it was wrong and VERY unprofessional!!
I had an amazing experience with JD bi-ryder today. Joe Pawlaczyk was super nice an informative to my needs an wants on the car I was looking for. Ebony Stone went above an beyond to get me approved for a car today. I am super happy with the car I got an my whole experience. Thank you to both Joe and Ebony again
If I could give these people 0 stars I would. They are the most disgusting company Ive ever seen. We bought the car, everything was paid for and we even just paid our payment in advance and they are repossessing the car due to a ridiculous technicality. All because my fiancee decided to switch jobs for the better pay. They had the nerve to wait for our first payment to call and claim we lied about employment and to even dare call it fraud. Now not only can my fiancee not work at the new BETTER PAYING JOB because we have no car now, but I now have to double my work hours and quit school just to supplement the loss of income. I will forever steer everyone I meet from this place. You people should be ashamed of yourselves. They will find any loophole to retake the vehicle and make more money. Stay away from these conmen.
I worked with dan at the JD by rider Fairfield location. He explained everything thoroughly and made sure I understood before signing. He was super helpful when I wanted to test drive multiple cars and made the whole overall experience very low stress! I would highly recommend working with them :)
My experience with J.D. Byrider has/is not what I expected but I couldn’t go anywhere else to bill my credit with my problems. Well I have been with J. D. Byrider since 2012 and I have payed on for 2 vehicles and now I am in there debt once again beefing that my Mazda truck was about to die and my warranty was up I had no choice but to do a pay off trade in to get a decent vehicle. How do I feel about this? Not good, not have a choice can afford to go anywhere else. I like the salesman and the lady that work in the maintenance department. I guess you can say J. D. Byrider are here for me when no other used car dealer isn’t. Thank you J. D.
We have had a difficult time lately which has left us with less than stellar credit. I also have Multiple Sclerosis which can sometimes make it difficult to drive specific cars. Corey Powell made it his mission to not only help get us qualified but bent over backwards to help me find a car for my physical needs. Since it can be difficult to walk distances, he moved cars to assist me. A special nod to Daniel Ridner who helped us at the onset with his personal and professional attention. The other staff were always willing to help if I orbmy husband called with questions. We appreciate the JD Byrider concept of helping the average person build their credit back up. Big dealerships would have turned us (as well as others) away. Their professionalism and enthusiasm made us feel we were not being judged for the situation we are in. I would recommend anyone to JD Byrider. Please keep up the hard work!!!
I have had thee absolute worst experience with JD at this Fairfield location! It saddens me that I was so desperate to have a car that I settled into paying a little over $13,000 for a vehicle that was NEVER checked out by JD Byrider Fairfields vehicle service department. I purchased my car a week before my son was born on June 14 and Ive had problems ever since. I had to call AAA to jump me to get home from the hospital after birthing my son. Before I was able to have my car for 2 months I paid $238 to have my breaks and calipers replaced. Out of my pocket. My car has electrical issues which Im told it costs so much illI likely break the bank to fix it. Bit of coarse when I checked the heat at purchase it blew warm air because it was summer. 3 months ago I had to somehow get my car to them (and I did) to get a new alternator and now Im in need of a new battery. Ive had to get 5 jumps this week. Plus its cold my heat doesnt work and I still have to transport my almost 5 month old and 4 yr old. Then when I get my car to them tonight the technician was sooo rude. Told me he didnt want to fix a thing because he didnt feel I should be grtgett all this free stuff. The man Jay who sold me my car and has been in this through every problem and phone call well he caught amnesia about my car problems and the list goes on. Im so drained from this car its been more trouble then its worth. Im going to cut this short here in hope that if you are reading this PLEAD HEAD MY ADVICE. Dont think you are winning because you get first pick of a Carr that just pulled on the lot. Have enough check ot first lol duh right? And I wouldnt suggest you go to J D Byrider but if you do definitely dont choose the Fairfield location. They dont care about you at all. My first review was great it was the day o got this car I was extremely happy. But time reveals truth. They sold me a lemon and even if I wanted to a day later I couldnt return it. Which I did later ask and was rejected. So glad I was indeed able to edit that original review to let yall know what they are really about.
DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!!THEY PREY ON PEOPLE WHO WANT TO FIX THEIR CREDIT AND SELL THEM CARS TRIPLE THE VALUE AND NEVER INTEND ON FIXING. Purchased a car in February, the transmission went out by May. I paid for a rental myself for a week, and then after much arguement they provided one through enterprise. I was without my car for an entire two months. Service manager said it had been ready a month prior and would not be giving my $300 back for the original rental I paid for because they took care if the rental for two months even though thats in my agreement? Fast forward I finally get the car back, its still not driving properly and 2-3 weeks later breaks down again. This time Im told it was the radiator, which is not covered by my warranty and it would be around $430 to fix. Everyday I wish I never did business with these people and try to find a way not to. Do yourself a favor and dont make the same mistake.
Our experience with J.D.Byrider was absolutely wonderful , the salesman we was extremely nice, his name is Rick Warning, he was very, very helpful. He explained everything very clear so we could understand, there was no pressure on us at all. He said if we had any questions to let him know during our time with him. He didnt rush us at all, we felt really relaxed during the whole time we were there. Everyone was so nice , it kind of felt like a big family, very relaxed atmosphere. One salesman opened the door for me and my Mother who is in a wheelchair, and the manager there was also very, very nice, while I was test driving a car he asked my Mother if she needed anything to let him know , he would get it for her, I really appreciated that a lot. The lady we seen, I believe her name was Sarah that went through the financial info and other paperwork was very nice too.I would recommend J.D.Byrider to all my friends and family, and I would tell them to go see the man named RICK WARNING.Thank you, William Houser (Bill)
Very first time here and it was amazing! The staff was very helpful and happy to help in any way. Dan R. Helped my boyfriend and I he stayed an hour after closing hours to finish up with us. He did it with a smile on his face too! Will be referring to everyone I know!
Vashion Huffaker was extremely friendly and helpful in picking out my car. I love the car I was able to purchase. Coming from out of state to get the car and they were extremely considerate of that. More than willing to do whatever they could to make the experience as pleasant as possible and an easier process all together.
Daniel Ridner he is THE MAN!!! Awesome service, wasnt rude at all compared to the guys down at Discover Auto Sales. If your ever in need ask for him... DANIEL RIDNER I repeat. Love that guy! And also everyone else was very generous as well, very welcoming. Awesome GM and financial assistance. Thanks guys you rock, bringing all my friends here.
I bought a 2013 chevy cruze from there today and 2 hours after i bought it, it broke down and over heated and when i called the dealer to tell them they said oh well there is nothing they can do til monday. By the way i traded in a car that i could drive. It was in really bad shape but i could have at least drove it to work monday. Im very upset!!!!!!!! If this situation is taken care of I will update my review but as of now it stands
I had an awesome experience with Kayla! She was a true cupid for my personal Valentines to myself! She truly worked magic and did everything she could to make the unusual happen.....drive away with the exact car you want! Thanks Kayla and everyone ask for her......Fairfield location!!!
Hey Jd Byrider is the bomb dot com I worked with Daniel Ridner great guy!!! He worked with me and my Finacial needs he got me in a car that I truly love Im so happy as a first time buyer from here I had a wonderful experience!!! I will definitely recommend him to any of my friend I so appreciate this you dont even know. He was great!!! I will difenitly come back to him when my son is ready for a car.
I HAD TO GIVE A STAR TO WRITE THIS. THIS HAS ME READY TO TAKE LEGAL ACTION. Dont purchase any car from here. Even if you just want a car thatll get you from A to B. Ive never purchased a used car that needed this much work of repairs done. I recently owned a 2002 grand cherokee with over 190k miles on it and didnt have this list of problems not one time... I bought a 2010 Chevy malibu from JD Byryder in October, 2015 (around 90k miles) and within the first year I made multiple trips back because my check air bag light wouldnt go out and every time, they would just reset it instead of really fixing the problem (afraid that if I get into an accident my air bags will NOT deploy). After I kept complaining to them about the problem, they told me to take it to a chevy dealer and pay them to fix it. Next, I needed to replace the wheel bearings. My warranty was up (Im a college student and work so driving a lot is a must) so that didnt help. I HAD to pay $300 myself to fix it. Next, my timing belt went out so I had to spend $800 January, 2017 for new timing kit and I just spent $2,300 for a new transmission March, 2017. NOW, July, 2017. I just picked my car up from the shop because my check engine light came back on and I find out my cam shaft and my axle needs replaced. After they sold me the car, I told them about the humming noise my car makes when driving but they told me, its your tires, for a smoother and more quiet drive, Id recommend high quality tires. This whole time my axle was going out! WYD. They do not care about how you spend your money or most importantly, YOUR SAFETY. Im terrified to drive this car. Their cars are not worth the life of any driver/passenger. Purchase at your own risk. I wish I knew more before I came to this dealership. Do not even waste the time letting them run your credit.
I got my car and a month later its down... I havent drove in a week... it destroyed my Christmas....(Updated) Today it is the 3rd of January and I have not had my Car since the 18th of December... Mind you, I only Had the Car for a little over a month. I still have to make payments on it and Uber my way back and forth to work... J.D Byrider isnt giving me a Date when it will be done... I was told buying for here is a gamble and I was dealt a bad hand....
Never again. I was paying more too get my car fixed n i was over charged for that car. When i called Cnac n told them im cool on that car he ran my credit it 3 times and those are hard credit checks and going too question me on why i am looking for another car. Never again.
Joe pawlaczyk and Jen Deselms are the 2 main consultants that went above and beyond to help me leave the lot with a car. I couldnt of asked for a better team at J.D. Byrider. Thanks again for helping me make this a smooth transmission. I would recommend them to anyone. You guys are Great!
I must say I was very impressed with Brandon Hampton hes a great sales person he work with me in getting a great car he has great customer service skills and is very knowledgeable !!! The car I got was a very nice car and reasonably priced the whole experience was great .. I will recommend anybody to come and see Brandon @ JD Byrider in Fairfield Ohio.
Only had car a month, cars a pos. They say they fix everything before someone buys it. Had to get oil change two days later which I was okay with since it was only $10 then three days later my check engine light came on. So i took it up there to get it fixed abd they gave it back 4 hours later engine light came back on. And then my seat motor went out after a week of driving it when i literally only moved it back one time so my bf could get to work he gets home I go to push it forward to go to store, and guess what I cant even drive MY OWN CAR because Im 411 and the seats almost all the way to the back. So now Ive been calling for 2 weeks to have them fix it they never answer and never call back.I do not recommend JD byridwr at all worst experience in car lots Ive EVER had!
J.D. Byrider is awesome they did everything they could to get us in the car we wanted plus they really looked out on the trade in credit payed my title loan off and gave me a great amount for my old car... We love our car we got a Chrysler 200 absolutely in love with it I would definitely recommend them to anybody because they help build ur credit and drive the car u want dan was our guy and he nailed it and did everything he could to get us in the car we wanted love dan and cant wait to get our next car through him ask for dan if u go in get a car here dan is the man and he is not like regular car salesmen Just trying to sale u a car he makes u wanna buy a car from him. Dan u were the best cant wit to get our second car from u buddy keep it up ur doing great
I went there today with every intention of walking out with a car. I was Text by the manager and told me to ask for him. Someone said he was busy with a customer and then walked out to introduce himself with a mouth full of pizza. He said he would be right with me and I never saw him again. I was helped by someone who clearly did not have enough training because he wasn’t sure what I was supposed to sign or where. I sat waiting to hear what I my approval was for TWO hours just to be told I needed to come back Monday morning because my employer is closed. I am extreme dissatisfied with my first and last experience with them! 10 thumbs down!
I arrived at this car lot today at 1:30 and although me and my mother in law were successful in driving away with a car this evening, the process of obtaining a car was too cumbersome and draining to say the least. Although you spend most of your time there speaking with a live sales person the process is then finalized onto a computer for more than a hour who repeats virtually everything the live sales rep. has already mentioned to you and so when all is said and done youre basically drained and just ready to leave... Unacceptable 🤔
Rick and Sara were extremely helpful and honest during the entire visit. I switched from 2nd shift to 3rd, so I could no longer carpool with my boyfriend. Had to get a car by the end of the week with bad credit. Really wanted the 2011 Dodge Avenger, didnt think I could get it with my credit being so bad but I still got it! The only downside is that my battery completely died a few weeks after I bought the car, but I had it towed to the Fairfield location and they fixed it right away and its been great ever since! Also, I find it very inconvenient that they dont give you your title before you drive off the lot. Now Im driving on expired temporary tags because when I went to get my license plates, I realized I have no title...So I now have to go all the way to Fairfield just to get a piece of paper that I should have gotten before I left with the car in the first place and thats a huge bummer. Still giving you guys a 5 star eating though, I love my car!!
Let me first begin by mentioning that my automobile account is not in collections yet.I simply called CNAC because this morning I had to put my dog down and I couldnt make the payment on the scheduled due date and the rep Brandon said I couldnt pay it late because it was to go into management review on Saturday. I advised I could pay when my partner was paid 5 days later (on Wednesday) and that was unacceptable considering its due Friday. Brandon had the nerve to ask me how much it cost to put my dog down. I cannot believe he asked me that, nor is that any of his business. Im appalled by the customer service I just received from CNAC and Im not even late with my payment yet. I was simply calling before it was due to see if they could help me. I would not recommend you do any type of business with CNAC. Ive already filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.
Daniel Ridner at JD Byrider on route 4 was more than helpful. My girlfriend and I spent 5 long hours there trying to find the best option for us. Never once did he seem upset or trying to rush or push us into a decision. He took his time, he was friendly and knowledgeable in all aspects. Every time we had a problem, he seemed to have a solution. I would definitely recommend JD Byrider. Especially after the experience we had with daniel.P.S. Thanks for the new car!!
Takes forever, got a mini van, people were nice. Jay helped us out. Really wished they had a bigger slection of cars to look at. Thats why for the three stars. NEED MORE CHOICES OF VEHICLES , One mini van, one truck really . Its a large car lot need more choices!!!!!!!!!!
I bought a 2010 avenger had less than a week started making noise at front wheel and shacking when doing over 40 miles a hr so I took it back to be looked at they said it was fine so after a few more weeks and noise getting louder took back now the Axel and wheel hub had to be replaced was told it wasnt a safety issue and was changing parts because noise bothered me. but if its making a noise something is wrong for two parts to go out at same time they sold me the car like this and for them to say they check cars out. Before selling them I just dont know took them three times to see the problems number 1 when they do there inspection before selling car number 2 first time I brought into be looked at and third time to find the problem i wrote this while they where working on my car the woman working in the office call me in and asked me what was wrong I told her that I shouldnt have to pay the 25 dollar deductable because I felt the problems where there when I bought the car and had to bring car in two times for same problems and told her that if it had been six months down the road I have no problem paying it what really gets to me is my kids and grandkids ride in my car and so any thing like a axel or hub bearing is a major safety issue to me. Please call me if you want to talk about this problem
A complete joke. Service department is never available unless its a week out. And the work I dropped off for before didnt even get fixed. I dont have money to constantly get rental cars of bum rides for people for work. Where is the reliability and satisfaction in this?
I was originally looking for shawnee motors and I was contacted by a guy named Jay Allen who told me his other shop was was at 5515 Dixie highway Fairfield Ohio 45014, so not knowing this was jd byrider I gave him a chance to try and help me and he couldnt! So not only did I drive from Amelia to Fairfield I didnt get a car either and using your friends car and putting gas in to get there and gas back to get home it costed me money for nothing! What this whole experience tells me is do not trust this man or this company no body should have to go through this so if you see a page called shawney motors on Facebook dont waste your time its a load of bull!!
Took 3 hour just for them to tell me they can include my commission bonus in overtime because Im two days shy of my 6 months at my current job and still ran a hard pull on my credit report.Im bringing damn near four grand a month if that doesnt alone approve you of a credit I am not coming back here
Checked out JD Byrider on RT 4 in Fairfield. Thought the cars were not in great shape, they looked like they had rough lives. Went down the road to Drive Time and it was the opposite so I would suggest you check them both out. Dont sign with one without checking both. We did a lot better at Drive Time. You may too but who knows.
The all over team Daniel Ridner and Kevin Behymer and Kayla Baker are the best at working with hard working ppl. I would tell anyone who is try to get a car and raise there credit to really go to JDByrider. I have had a few cars from them and Kevin is the man to help you. God Bless the team at JDBYRIDER.

2022-08-14We went to Byrider after going to several other lots that wanted so much down and car payments of $700+, that we left frustrated and angry. Brandon McLucas helped us through the buying process and went above and beyond to help us leave with a car. His customer service is incredible and very rare these days. We will definitely buy from them in the future.

2022-05-12This place does a great job getting you a car but wont tell you the problems you will have later with it. I have a 2014 Ford focus and it has transmission issues. Three years in a row it was in the shop. This last time one part broke, was fixed, another part broke, was fixed. I get it back and it has a $2000 part break! And while in the shop other parts not related are bad. Horrible business!!!!

2022-07-06If I could rate ten stars I wouldI purchased my first actual vehicle from by rider at aged 19, and minimal credit history. This is one of the only places that would approve me for a car. They got me in and out, my sales lady was very nice and informative of the processes for me.I purchased a black Chevy Cruze, in great condition. However what really took the cake for me is I had an issue with the vehicles turbo charger and catalytic converter the day of my purchase. It was an on and off issue until I decided to bring it in and have them look at it.The byrider team assured me the entire time that they’d take care of me, and they most definitely did. They replaced my turbo charger, catalytic converter, turbo lines and oil for 100% free of charge. Not to mention they finished my vehicle the very next day, when no appointment was made.I have to say, I am very impressed with byrider’s ethics as a company. I will definitely be recommending everyone who needs a vehicle to come here and get situated.Buying a used car is very risky, but at byrider you can feel safe knowing they take care of you here.

2021-12-22Ebony and Corey did a great job on getting me in there they really do help you out if anyone says otherwise is a lier experience was perfect the price was perfect and monthly payment like Corey and his team were awesome. They bent over backward to get me and my small family in a car granted was the right one I wanted but it is perfect and love every moment of this car. Wouldnt change it for the world I would highly recommend them to anyone even if you dont have a lot of money down I didnt and didnt have the great credit either and they did everything to get me into a car.
