I couldn’t asked for a better experience. My salesman, Jeff Roan, was reassuring and has great customer interaction. I was pretty worried about getting a car and he just kept saying “positive thinking”. I left the dealer with the car I wanted. Thank you to Jeff and the Dayton location of JD Byrider.
I just bought s new car well new to me at Byrider and the experince was great. They were prompt at getting in touch with me. Did the paper work and the peocess began. Alil while because it was a busy day and they got me in a Mazda 3. Love it so far. The stress of it was minimal because of the salesmen and i would recommend anyone looking at getting a car with less than good credit and want to be treated well go Ask for Jeff or Dan. Thanks Guys
This place is a total joke!!! They sell junk you pay for an extended warranty so it will cover things that WILL happen because they sell junk!!! Instead of fixing things they want to give people the run around until something bad happens. The service department is a bunch of let me guess and look on YouTube to make sure I am doing this correctly types of mechanics. Best advise is just dont do it. Cost you more than what the vehicle is worth!!!
I got my first leased car from jd byrider and I gotta say its been the worst experience I have ever had. I wish I never went to this place. The staff are all rude and just dont give any cares to the customers. I make my payments on time but they cant do repairs in a timely manor. Just saying you need to get your act together. I would not recommend this company to anyone. Actually I stress to stay away from them. I should add that 1 staff member was helpful for me. His name is Colin everyone else is not so friendly.
My experience is almost always terrible at the Miamisburg Centerville location . I’ve never left there satisfied and secure within the last 2 years . I have never left there feeling that my car was taken care of or felt like a valued customer the staff is very un concerned about the condition of the vehicle or the impact that the issue is having on the customer . The staff is always condescending and rude acts like you’re bothering them by asking questions about the work that needs done or answering you like you should just know i picked my car up from being serviced and had to walk to the back of the building and through the lot to find my vehicle where I thought that normally a service technician would drive it around to the front . They offer no type of courtesy and definitely show no compassion or customer service this is the very last time I bring my car into this location . I will not refer , recommend , buy or do business with Byrider at all moving forward .
I was in a horrible car accident three weeks ago. My kids and granddaughter walked away with minor injuries and I have a fractured spine and serious anxiety. I went to Byriders on Friday and they said I was approved for a car but needed to verify my employment. I went back today and they said “this is the SUV we have for you” I only had one to choose from. I test drove it and the steering wheel had way too much play in it and I mentioned it to them. I asked him if there was another SUV (after my accident that’s what I feel comfortable driving) then they said they would “see if I could get the equinox cheaper” I test drove it and it was ok. So they worked out a price that didn’t make sense to me. It was way too high… but their “warranty” is OPTIONAL so if you choose to opt out of the warranty the amount you are approved for goes down almost $4,000. So I discussed a car. They let me test drive a Taurus, when I got in it it was filthy.. as I drove it you had to push the brakes to the floor and it was grinding. My anxiety caused me to panic and I drove the car back to byriders. I asked the man there if they drive those cars before they put their customers in it and he said “well we drive a car home every night, we choose a car and drive it” well clearly they didn’t drive the cars I was given tonight. I was shaking so bad, my heart was racing and I just left. I understand people with bad credit/no credit have limited options but not explaining anything to me on how you choose the cars or CAR out for a customer or how your “optional warranty” package works before sending them in two different cars that were not very safe to be on the road and then act like it wasn’t a big deal is not very fair to us. I didn’t want to go purchase a new car I had no choice. I think this place should be required to explain the process before sending someone out in a car to test drive. And make sure the cars are SAFE!
As a first time buyer I was a little nervous about how it works. When I got to byrider Jeff made everything super simple and got me taken care of with no issues at all. I would highly recommend byrider to any of my friends and family. They make the process super easy. Thanks Jeff and everyone at byrider.
Worst customer service I’ve ever had basically sold me a lemon the car had issues requiring it to be taken to the shop within the first week of having the vehicle they “fixed” the issue the first time which came back a couple months later said my vehicle was out of warranty (60,000 mile warranty) while I haven’t even put 30k on the vehicle in the year and a half I’ve owned it and now that the issue has returned and made things worse to the point my car is undrivable they refuse to fix it and are trying to make me pay 2600 dollars but refuse to call me back or actually speak to me everytime I call them they say after looking over the numbers they will call me back it has been three months since I’ve had a running vehicle and they even refuse to provide a rental only Uber vouchers or I have to pay for the rental myself and they will only cover it for the week not the weekend. Don’t buy a vehicle from here I’ll never shop with this company ever again!!!
Jeff Roan went above and beyond to get me in a car. I was in a truly difficult and almost desperate situation but he stuck it out with me over a 3 week period to get my paperwork together to make sure I made it into a car. When I all but gave up, he still had faith and got me driving away as quick as can be. I cant thank him enough!
I came to Byrider hoping that I could get a new car or in a car to drive I had to bad things on my credit report however Jeff was very helpful and was able to get the through the process with me very very good and explained everything to me and Jeff was also able to come and pick me up and bring me to the lot which this is just above and beyond what I would expect him he explained all my paperwork he allowed me to test drive all the cars I wanted to which took a lot of time but he was very patient with me explaining which car and how much I could afford Jeff very nice and very concerned About my needs also he explained to me that my daughter-in-law was going to get $100 bonus because she referred me here and I didn’t know that neither did my daughter-in-law so Jeff went above and beyond what Iwould’ve expected from a car dealership he’s definitely an asset to your company and I would do business with him inIn the future and I would definitely refer all my family and friends here
My car has been junk and the repair service is a joke. I have had nothing but problems. Engine blew and they tried every possible eay to blame it on me. They lied claiming i ran it with no oil. I drove up and checked the oil myself and it was fine. Took them 3 weeks just to push it in to diagnose it. Then took another 7 weeks to make the repairs. When i got it back. They claimed battery was dead and when i investigated it was a completely different battery than i installed months before. The battery locking nut was missing. They offered to take it off another customers car which is what i suspect happened to mine. I also found that i now have multiple turn signals and breaklights out. I suspect they took mine for another customer.The car does run, but appears to have a significant exhaust leak that didnt exist before.While they had the car, i checked on it frequently where i found they had left it unlocked everytime... even after I complained multiple times.This place is a hazard. Shady business practices. Buyer beware.
The staff was all very responsive to all of my questions. As I am very inexperienced with car financing. I felt like they cared about what was in my best interest. They provided useful tips and explained their services in a way that anyone can understand. I am very grateful that my first time financing a car was through Byrider! They were patient with me every step of the way to ensure I got a car that I was satisfied with. I’ve also noticed major improvements to my credit which I also appreciate. On another note, they have great music taste too.
JD Byrider service dept was very professional and was very diligent in keeping with their scheduled times for their customers. I had a few hours wait but it was well worth it. I am very satisfied with my warranty and the mechanics making me aware of my vehicle and how to take care of it.

Do Not Go Anywhere Else!!!! Go see Jeff Roan at The Miamisburg Location in Dayton. We have went months and could not get approved. He made the whole entire process easy and simple. If all you have been hearing is No then take it from me and go see this guy!!!! My payments are affordable and the down payment is affordable!!! Remember Jeff Roan!!! Go see him! Went in for a transmission fluid and filter change that’s $140 give or take every where else to be charged $270. Pretty sure part of there selling point was that there shop would service your vehicle at cheapest cost in town. After arguing for days that it’s not a two hour job and there’s not a $45 trans filter out there. Come back and they have paperwork for the most expensive filter from the local parts store top shelf so saves me 16$. Next why do they offer discounted conventional oil changes and not synthetic? Seems more to advertise hey here’s some of the worst oil to put in your car but here you go.
Everyone at J.D. BYrider in Dayton, Ohio have been awesome,!! They made the loan happen even though it took all day to get my employment records. And they were very patient when we had to go thru all my bank records because Im self employed. Especially Jeff Roan!!! Straight up and honest! Thats a rare quality in a car salesman. Dont go here, they dont want to help you. they want to appear to help as they take your money. The financing approved amount is for the total price of the car not what they can finance. My financing was approved for 13,200 so I figured get a $15,000 vehicle and drop 2,000 on it and they would finance the rest, nope. I had to find a $13,200 then they said they would finance the rest but thats only 11,200 financed so I feel theyre swindling people. Plus every vehicle is highly over priced so anything within range is range just isnt a desireable vehicle. Go to craigslist instead.
Was able to get approved for a car in an hour and was out in two! Easy financing, and so far experience with service has been excellent. Have a 60k 48 month power train service contract that covers a lot of suspension! They will work with bad credit and make sure you are taken care of.
Buying a car was OK. Cars are way over priced but when your desperate and not much of a down payment they work. Service is non existent at this facility in Dayton. Then when i had problems Paying over 400 a month for my 2011 KIA, and lost my job to health issues. Every person who called me was different. Some were nice but couldnt help me, others just threaten to take car. So in the end, i let them take it back after many times asking to speak to supervisor, and failing. They said they were busy, would call me back and never did. Then after they took car they called wanting to work with me? Felt like its a little late at that point.

The service center is a JOKE! Shortly after I got my car the engine light came on, took it to auto zone for a read they stated it was the catalytic converter, called the service center told them what the read said, of course it took 2 weeks to even get an appointment, the service center told me it was the o2 sensor, got it fixed a week later. Fast forward, engine light comes on again, took it to auto zone, same code catalytic converter, called service center again, of course took weeks to get an appointment, during all of this I received no phone calls or updates, I called multiple times left messages with no response, called cnac just to get through to them, finally they said it was my manifold that was bad, weeks later I call back just to be told the manifold was replaced but this code was still popping up so the service center said I needed a new engine, another 3 week wait, AFTER the manifold and engine was replaced I finally get a call saying “Oh you need a new catalytic converter!!!” This was told to them on day one!! So of course I waited, had to pay out of pocket for the catalytic converter, only for it to break a month later!!! Now I have to wait 2 weeks for the service center to “look” at it again.I’m ready to say forget my credit, you can keep your car!!!
I would like to give a big shout out to Mr Jeff he was my salesman Jeff was very respectful and he was very professional! He was very up front about everything even though I may not wanted to hear the truth he was upfront about everything! I was low key embarrassed about my credit score once l was walking into this facility!! He made me feel like I had another chance with my credit score and I am so grateful that I met this wonderful man!! If I could give him a award I would b the 1st one to do that!!!
This is by far the best experience buying a car. They took great care of me while other places wouldn’t even consider me. I was in and out within a couple of hours with my new car. Jacob was with us step by step next to us and helped us with any questions or concerns.
I LOVED MY EXPERIENCE! It’s always stressful when you buy a new vehicle and you usually get so much information thrown at you at once, but Dan was very patient and nice! Dan showed me all my options and even let me tell him what kind of experience I wanted. The staff was very nice and helpful with every step of the process! I’m VERY satisfied with my purchase.
I was helped by Jeff and it was a great experience. I am used to walking in, testing 1 thing and going with the first option. However, Jeff was funny and a genuine person of help. He helped me choose the right car for me out of the few I tested. Greatest experience 8ve ever had.

Jeff was the best lots of helps but the service dept. is very terrible if you car break down or don’t happen to it and you take it up there to get fixed but if there a new buy your will get pushed backed just how mines is my car been there since December 30,2021 my car went form 6 to number 16 to be fixed
This is a horrible place do not do bussiness here they are rude , ignorant and very unprofessional and they are pricing their cars that’s on their lot more then what they cost they do not fix the issues when something goes wrong with the cars the mangers and sales associate are terrible
Buying the car with easy enough. However, I cannot stress enough how horrible the service department is!!! I have had to have my car looked at a total of three times since Ive had it. Each time they take a week if not longer before I can get my car back. This time however takes the Cake, I drop my car off August 26 which I was told the part would be ordered then. So I chose to take my car back and had another appointment for September the 13th when the part should be in. Once I bring my car part was not ordered because they wrote the number down and correctly. They have had my car ever since on their parking lot, I have came up almost every other day with little to no progress. Finally I was told the part would be an on the 20th which it was not. Theres no sense of urgency, and theres no communication I only found out things when I went up to ask about the progress. Fast forward to the 24th. The part comes in , I was told it would be done Monday. Today is Monday I call to check on the car if it is done and of course they said it may not be done today. I am completely fed up with this company company I took my concerns to the GM and that did little to no good. I have spent over 500$ on a rental car, they do give you some of that back, however it takes 3 weeks to get it. As well as they do not give you the money for the weekend or holiday even though my car has been sitting on there lot for 3 weeks, This is completely ridiculous and no excuse!!
I bought a 2013 Ford Escape in September why am I not able to drive my car 3 months later due to a bad transmission.. I call the service department to speak with the manager. But she’s always in a meeting dodging the fact that I was sold a lemon. Now I have to deal with rude customer service.. no date when my car will be drivable! I don’t recommend anyone wasting there time and money buying a car from this junk yard!! They had 20 cars ahead of mine with engine and transmission problems. Go somewhere else.. use Carvana, that’s what I should have did!
I’ll start off by saying since the day I bought my car I have had problem after problem. The day after I bought my car I realized there were issues with the transmission. It’s now been replaced 3 times 2 years later since they put used transmissions in to fix it. And that’s just a tiny bit of issues I’ve had. I’ve now put thousands of dollars into the car just to keep it drivable. On top of all of the issues and money I’ve put into it I’m going to be paying 7 TIMES what the car is worth to pay off the loan. Every time I’ve taken my car into get fixed it’s takes a month or more to have it fixed. I’m completely fed up with the whole situation. I don’t suggest buying from Byrider.
I had an awesome experience here! had some issues with my work history because we had merged companies and it looked as if I didnt have my job for very long but the man who took care of us did everything he could and went out of his way to help me get approved. ABOVE AND BEYOND I believe his name was Matt? lol (older man with glasses) he also took his time with us...never made use feel rushed or pressured. I would send anybody I know his way!!! great experience!!
They have great cars and wonderful service. My engine in my SUV went out and it was still under the warranty and they replaced the engine and noticed that something was wrong with my two lower control arms and replaced those also. It only took about three to four weeks to fix my SUV. I would recommend this place than anyone.
Definitely unsatisfied with all the above services that Byrider has gave to me. My car had been in the shop for almost a month, there was very poor communication always promised that I would get a call back in regards to when my car would be finished , but I would usually get hung up on her never receive a call back I had to call every single day. The woman in the services department was very rude and unprofessional and showed no part of caring about the issue I had with my vehicle. That was purchased about four months ago it has already been in the shop twice. They are just out to sell you a car ! They are not out too sell you a car and make you happy that’s for sure. Had to pay out-of-pocket almost $600 when they couldn’t even provide me with a loaner car for the time being for the long amount that they did have my vehicle, so therefore I was paying money for Lyft drivers to work and to pick up my kids from daycare which cost me more money in a week than it did to fix my car. Also was supposed to speak with Tiffany the manager in regards to seeing what resolution we can come to about me only having my car for four months and having several problems with the car I never heard a call back. My vehicle had several things wrong with it and they didn’t even have the audacity to check or inspect the car thoroughly before selling it to me. So therefore I feel as if they were just trying to sell me a car which I understand that is their job but at least be a little charismatic over your customers. I would never recommend Byrider to anyone.Had the worst of the worst services that I’ve ever had dealing with a car dealership. The smallest things matter when I received my car back it showed that the tire pressure was low and one of the tires, they couldn’t even go as far as to put air in my tire now I think that’s pretty pathetic. They also return my vehicle back to me with scuffs on it and it was filthy on the inside after my husband spent 2 1/2 hours detailing it before it went into the shop. So no thank you for the services that you have gave me if I could get out of my contract I completely would. Hate the fact that I spend my hard earned money on a car that was Dysfunctional
Every time i try To make an appointment it’s extremely hard to get through to the service department there’s always people quitting they are always booked out months in advance they will also keep your car for a long periods of time without a rental and only reimburse you $25 a day on your rental when they are very expensive!!! It’s just all the way around stressful inconvenient and they don’t communicate! I’ve been calling for almost 4 hrs and still no answer. Just a lesson learned to never deal with byrider.
If i could give a 0 star i would. So disappointed and upset. I got a car and have had nothing but problems with the car have not even had it for 2 years been in the shop more than i have been able to drive it. 2 engines ( not new parts put in) breaks keep going out, they keep fixing it but still have the same problems when it rains the passengerside floorboard fills with water. . The put new engine parts and NEVER put oil in it. Maybe because im such and honest person i never thought that people would screw other people like this. I am going to contact a lawyer because there is no reason this should be happening. My opinion dont get a car from them unless you have a mechanic that can go with you and do a 100 review over it. It is so sad when i try to get help they say i can bring it in but then they have it for for 3 plus months and i have to pay for a rental. Im so disappointed!!! I just want a safe car to drive and not have to put money onto it. I could get it if i have had ot for a long time but nothing but trouble since i pulled it off the lot.
Pretty cool I guess long wait time though got a car maybe still waiting in the lobby currently as I’m leaving this review 😑Edit:Just traded in the car I got from them last time and I got something different last car they gave me lasted the whole lease hopefully the next will do the same but it’s definitely a good place to get somebody started I would recommend it
If i could leave a zero i would. I had appointment at 9 in the morning dropped car off the night before. I called them around 12 to check up on the car they stated it was on the left. I called again around 3 they then told me they didnt start on it on till around 130 and the tech was out driving it to make sure it was fixed. I drove up there to find out everyone left. Saw car out side the building went to look at it and it was left unlocked for every one to get into and to kick it off the next i had to call again and 12 to see if it was ready to pick since i still had not received a phone call. I asked about it the car being unlocked and the lady on the phone asked me why didnt i locked it that is the techs job to make sure the vehicle is secured after service not me !!!!
Im pleased with my car. But the first one i really liked and test drove was not ready to be sold yet. One thing that was almost painful was the video you have to watch. But for the most part salesmen were friendly helpful and eager to help get you into a car that you loved.
DO NOT GET A CAR HERE! I got a car from here and within 2 days my check engine light came on. I called the their auto shop & not only do they not answer EVER but they will keep your car for days and not notify you when your car is fixed. It’s been a month now and my check engine light is on AGAIN. I truly wish I never got a car from this place. Save your money!!!
Went to Byrider on the 12th with my 95 cutlass around 5. They not only took my car as a trade in, but also worked with me on a down payment when a lot of places would not. I ended up with the car I wanted, and they stayed late to make it happen for me. I dealt with Kennan, and he was an awesome guy. Very knowledgeable and professional, didn’t pressure me into anything and answered any questions I had. Based on my experience, I would recommend them to anyone in need of a car.
Melvin was so great to make sure we had a reliable vehicle for my family. Ive had it almost 3 months now and ran into a small mechanical issue and Jason in the service department saved my life lol love that I chose this place for my car. Even though I hate car payments Im now in a clean, reliable vehicle and if theres any issues the service department is the best. Thanks to everyone who works there your a blessing!
(The positive)If you have credit issues and is needing to get into a car fast they will do everything to get you into a car. I was getting denied from other car dealerships so I went to the Miamisburg Centerville Rd, Ohio location and the sales rep got me into a vehicle that same day. I had bankruptcy on my record and They still worked with me. (The negative)Now, the reason I gave them two stars. They offer a warranty, but it seems like whenever I’m needing to get my car maintenance they do not want to take the time to check your concerns.They are always behind, in October I had to wait almost a month for them to get me in their shop. I have been trying to call them here recently, I left a message and still no one has ever called me back. It’s been a month and now I am forced to go to a mechanic whom do not honor my warranty and I have to pay full price for the maintenance vs paying Jd Byrider my $50 copay for them to do the work.
Service manager very nice, explained had to get parts located 20 minutes away, would then take less than an hour to put on. Went to the desk a few times to check on the repair, but no one there. Finally 3 hrs later, I had to yell in the back to find someone. Same attendant came out and told me they had the wrong gasket. When they get the correct one will put on. I advised, originally told my appointment would take a hour. They already looked at the muffler and knew what was needed, took 2 weeks to get an appointment! Very frustrating. After I expressed I have to leave to get to work and have been waiting almost 4 hrs., then amazingly, they found the gasket and my car was brought out. Very disappointed. Would have appreciated updates. Not sure if I will be back, need to get a tune up, maybe I need to find another mechanic. Debbie Rothermel
My car has been there for 2 weeks now I tried calling the service department 20 times no answer on when my car will be done I get told your car will be done Monday 5/9/2022 then get told it would be Tuesday 5/10/2022 when I talked to the lady at 11 she told me oh I will contact you at 430 we’ll it’s almost 6 and I still haven’t heard anything yet this is ridiculous
Got a car from them last year and it was great until I got into a car accident and it totaled my car so I go back in to do the lay over program and I get a car the first of this year and haven’t had it a month and already have to replace the transmission, radio, and either wheel bearing, tire rod ends, or something else to do with tires. Brought it in to be looked at a week after having it and was told they do not fix radios or transmissions in my type of car. It’s almost been a month and have more issues then I can bear told them I don’t want this car and all it’s issues and want to get something different told no and sent to auto repair again! I referred a friend here and I’ll be sure to tell him not to go there.
Process started off good. They told me I had a delinquent account and I would have to pay back due before they could do my trade in. No biggie. So I did and they said that would count as my DP. Right. Cool. Came time to do the paper work and they asked for my DP. I told them I already paid. And they said no no no. We need another $160 since you made the payment. AFTER telling me the back due would serve as my DP.The man dealing with it then got very rude with me over the whole ordeal and belittled me. Like. That’s his job. Whatever.You get what you get with a second chance car company.All in all I was able to do my trade in and I’m happy with the end result. Just wish the getting there would have been smoother. Was there for nearly 10 hours.I hope to continuing having decent experience with the company as I’ve had a car with them for 4 years now.Can’t have good days all the time.Thank you for getting me into a new car! And sorry it was such a headache for everyone
If I could give 0 stars I would , they are horrible and have horrible customer service I went to get my air fixed in a car I bought from them. 6 months ago and they said it wasn’t covered in my warranty and I waited for 2-3 hours for them to fix it anyway and come to find out they didn’t fix anything then made me pay $70 to tell me what was wrong with my car even tho I told them that before they even looked at it then said they could fix it for $800 more they’re just horrible

I have not one complaint but I do have a lot of good to say about my experience at J.D Byrider but then I would be writing a book. So thank you for the great experience of buying a car. Admit I was nervous at first but became a breeze thank you.
I had the best experience ever when I brought my car in for diagnosis everything came out to be $743.12 but with some hard work and dedication the sales lady Kim was able to get my parts under warranty and ended up paying $27 and some change I couldnt believe it it was the best experience great customer service

This is the worst place every. They charge you 3x the value of the car. When you need your car service, they keep it for days and never get around to it until you have to snap. They customers service in the service center is the worse I have ever experienced. The lady at the desk never do her job. She on the phone taking personal calls while customers are waiting I dropped my car off and they never moved it from the spot I drop it off from. Claiming they wasnt aware my car was there. Today I dropped my car off, my appointment was at 9am (after waiting 5 weeks to get an appointment) . I get a notice when my car starts. They did not look at my car until after 230pm for a 9am appointment and they didnt order the part to my car until I was walking in the door to see what the hell was going on at 530pm. The office closes at 6pm and now they saying they need my car a few more days but will not give me a loaner or reimbursement me for a rental. Please do not purchase a car from them. You will be trapped for the next 5 years. The sales experience is the only great experience you will have. Once you get that car, the HELL begins. I will NEVER recommend ANYONE. CATCH THE BUS before you go to them. Dont let the five start fool you, you will regret it I promise.
It seems almost every dealership I go to has poor customer service....I got an email from someone named Jenny, she said she had tried to call me....She did... and HUNG UP on me not once not twice but 6 different times within a 3 day span! I work in a factory so I had to stop what I was doing to answer phone calls just to be hung up on.....Another dealership contacted me thankfully so ill avoid the byrider mess. Really think these places need to do a bit better when hiring people or their companies will sink
Got told by the service department I would have to pay 300 dollars to replace air door actuator because I would have to take off the whole dash and when I went on line the part is only 30 dollars and all the diy videos and auto zone said you could replace the part without removing the dash so they basically I got.lied to and if I would not have known better they would have took me fr over 200 dollers guessing someone needed my money that day
Do not buy a vehicle from here if you can help it! If you do, get the warranty! You will incur major mechanical failures within a a month to a year! You will be unable to reach any department successfully after you sign on the dotted line! They will jerk you around everytime! Tell you what you want to hear! Research other options!
I got a car from them, I let them know that it would be my only car and that I needed something reliable. A month after I got the car the whole transmission went out, it was covered under my warranty, but I was without a car for two and a half weeks. Four months later the entire transmission system had to be replaced again, this time they did get me a rental, but had my car for a month. I went and picked it up and did not even make it home when lights started coming on. It now has two more major issues, finally after two weeks my appointment is coming up Friday to take it back in, I have no idea how long they might have it this time and if they will offer a rental again or not. Depending on what is wrong with it, Im not sure if everything will even be covered. I have never been late on a payment, and at 22%interest and $380 dollars a month, I should never have to worry about how I am going to make it to work to be able to make my payments and other bills. Also the first time it was fixed the bumper was cracked and nobody seems to know how it happened, the service department blamed the tow company and Visa versa, so I just had to eat it. The general manager was very helpful, and if these new issues are not quick and easy fixes then I am hoping he is fair enough to either give me another vehicle or give me back what I have paid in so far and take the car back so that I can feel confident in a reliable vehicle.
I took my car into be looked at because I was loosing coolant, squishy breaks and the lights coming on. I get a call late in the afternoon telling me that I need a new radiator and they couldnt determine the rest. The cost to replace the radiator is almost $500.00 to fix because it is a 4 hour drive. Good thing I know people who can fix it and at a reasonable rate.
I would give a Zero if I could. We got a van from this dealership back in March of this year. Not only are the payments high but by May (not even 2 whole months after getting the van) the ABS went out & locked up our brakes. They say that it is not covered in the warranty when it should be because it would be extremely dangerous to drive. So now we have no vehicle to drive, & we are stuck with these payments that aren’t even worth it. We have spent $700 trying to get it fixed & it’s still not fixed. The cheapest person we have found still needs another $900 to attempt to finally get it fixed! We are on a fixed income, a family of 6, we have 4 kids. We really need a vehicle. It’s just very disappointing that we have spent & are spending so much on something we can’t even use to get us anywhere. We were really looking forward to having this new family vehicle & have really been let down.
Kennan was great! He walked me and my wife through any and every question, he allowed us to test drive as many as we liked, his level of professionalism was outstanding, and didnt make us feel as though we were just a sale! So happy about having our new car in the driveway!!

Greg Rawers and the General Manager were extremely helpful, both stayed an hour and a half after closing to track down the vehicle i was looking. Myself and my wife came in today in the hopes of buying a vehicle when our only car died, we had a 2:15pm appointment, they were very fast about getting us in and getting us started, they were VERY FRIENDLY, and VERY RESPECTFUL, our credit was not the best but they were still able to work with us and get us into a very nice van. We went in all stressed because we had just spent a whole day shopping for a car and I had just got off of work. Mr. Green was so happy and inviting that I actually wanted to be there. I have nothing but trouble with these guys. I pay on time and yet I still have had to take my car back three times within the first two months. The could or would not fix my car correctly. Then before that i referred a bunch of people to them and was ran around in circles about getting paid my $100 referral bonus on any one of them. They still owe me the money. I was told by three different people it would be taken care of with no results but lies. Worst mistake ever getting a car through them. They pray on people with bad credit and even the ones that manage to pay everything on time still get screwed. I would give them a 0 if I could right now.
If i could give negative stars i would. Do not buy a car from this place they sell broken down junk. We are now having the engine replaced for the FIFTH TIME! It would be at least better if they could fix it in a timely manner. Everytime they service the car its in their shop for weeks. We have to call them for updates on the service being done and expect to be on hold for awhile. The experience with the sales representative was very nice he was very cool. But the manager is completly unhelpful and offers nothing for all the inconveniences of having a P.O.S vehicle

The worst experience of my life . They screw you every chance they get . they raised my apr 3 % on final paperwork. My engine blew it took them 15 days to fix it jason told me he can only reimburse me for 5 days they conveniently lost my tow receipt. After 15 days of a rental i got a check for $108.25. It took over a month to get that please dont give these people any business. They are the worst kind of people in the world. Save yourself the extra thousands in interest i was in a bind worst decision of my life run away
Got me in and out with a reliable vehicle I needed for work after being told no literally everywhere else, these guys were great. The gentleman named Curtis was a huge help what with my budget being less than ideal but he worked with the financing company for me and got me a great rate. Ive been telling everybody I know that needs a car to check out JDB first and if you go there, ask for Curt and tell him that Eli sent you cause everyone gets $100 referral bonus! Good experience had my car for about 3 year 01/22/2016 so far no major problems interest is high but other than that everything is fine also they warranty come thru when you do need something fix... just got my tires sensor fix and my tires rotated. My wheel beerings replaced and some things checked for $130 dollars 12/15/17. But when your warrant expire you on own, they suggested getting an extended warranty through another company — and u can trade in your car once you paid your loan down 3000. They also give you a 10 dollar oil change certificate that’s is very helpful it’s only specific places but it’s worth it 🙌🏾🙌🏾
The people are very nice and work hard to help their customers the best they can. I am VERY HAPPY with the vehicle I got and glad they got me driving it out the same day. The absolute worst! Before I filed for Bankruptcy last year (which I should have done to begin with before heading here) I bought a used Chrysler Pacifica which I loved. The sales process was straight forward and the staff seemed sincere and nice. I was a bit disconcerted that I wasnt allowed to see the price of the vehicle until I looked at the contract (the price was 12,000 dollars. The KBB of the car was 3,200 dollars. The price was non-negotiable) but thats how a buy here pay here is. Bad credit equals high interest. Fine. But at least give me something reliable because within a few months my car had problem after problem after problem. I was still under their lousy warranty and even though my car kept stalling and I had a check engine light, they claimed that they just couldnt find anything wrong with it Im not a mechanic by any means but obviously if the service light is on and the car is stalling then yes, something is clearly not right. The thing was, whatever was wrong must have been something they just didnt want to fix and so they just lied. I know because I took it to an independent mechanic who found out the issues. Well, anyway, I wasnt going to pay TRIPLE the value of the car plus interest plus fixing it. I just couldnt afford it. They should not have lied and did the honest thing and honored the warranty. I gave the car back. I filed BK. They had to eat it. Good. Because Ill tell you something else, behind this location is a grave yard of broken down and beaten up cars littered with problems that they fix up and then sell for a ridiculous amount in the name of fixing your credit yeah right. Its about making a quick buck. Dont go here. They are liars and crooks. Youre better off saving for a beater.
This place sucks. the service department specifically. all they do is hang up on you. they wont let you know if your part has arrived. ive been hung up on SEVERAL times. this place is extremely unprofessional and shouldnt even be in business. i wish i never gave them my money.
Amazing staff that works for u. The guy with the bow tie is amazing salesman that cares. Walked in with very little money and no car and walked out with an amazing car i am going to refer anyone i know there. Im even willing to take my kids there for there first car can not beat the people there. They will help just about anyone get a car in there budget not just one to make a sale
Ive drive away with my car in january and have had to make a few stops to their service center and i must say bridgette the receptionist is so friendly and welcoming and i absolutely appreciate the manager Tony, onwas concerned about my defrost not working properly and he was mostly concerned about MY saftey which meant the world to me so i was able to get it looked at. I really recommend first time buyers to come here.
God is good, and he used JD Byrider to bless me with a really nice and reliable vehicle. The staff at the Miamisburg Centerville Rd location are very polite, helpful, playful, and made my experience with them even better! Ive had a few issues, they came and repo my keep after 4 days of being late due to my son being in hospital. The transmission is slipping in mornings when I start up for work. But on the positive side they did give me a chance when no one else would...and the sales team were very helpful. I just wish they would trust in people a little more and not come get a vehicle after only 4 days...and always assume the worst especially when I paid off all my down pay on time and havent done anything for them to assume I would run with vehicle. So now I have to have a GPS put on and hope they arent keeping track of me when Im up to date on payments thats kinda invasive in my opinion.
After being turn down at numerous car dealerships due to my poor credit, I gave JD Byrider my last shot. 2022-07-11Horrible customer service. Salesman literally said, with other customers right there, Your credit score is ---, I dont know what you expect. Nobody will work with that. He then told me what score was acceptable to buy a car anywhere else. I was told by another salesperson I would be able to get financed with 0 down. He ran it and it came back 500. They lie and tell you one thing just to get you there and then try to shame you into believing they are the only option you have. I had the money. But after the way he talked to me in front of other customers, literally shaming me for not having a good credit score, I would rather go without a vehicle than spend any money here. Also, I found another dealership more than willing to work with me, interest rate is literally half of what this place charges, and they treated me with dignity and respect. Do not waste your money here. You have other options.

It took a little time because they were busy, but they found me something practical, and got me approved easier than I expected! Jeff is a real straight shooter and doesnt try to pressure you into anything out of your comfort zone like a lot of places!

2022-08-08I dont recommend this place to nobody. They called me for 2 months trying to get me in a new and reliable car as they say. I finally decided to get a car threw them and I only had my car for a month and it stopped working on me with my 5 year child in the car with me I called to see what was my options and the guy josh was so rude and basically said it was my problem because I signed the contract. So If you reading this and you thinking about going here I would reconsider it youll be better of going to a buy here pay here. Im stuck paying on a car that doesnt work. This is very unacceptable they need to do better

2022-03-11Update on all of my reviews.Nothing has been corrected, they leave replies to bad reviews to make it appear something has or will been taken care of. Nothing has and nothing will be rectified. Instead of reaching out to unsatisfied customers they leave the phone number to the exact same place I had the issue with and Im supposed to talk to the same people who caused the 1 star rating. Check dealer rating and they arent 4+ stars theyre 2.2 and full of bad reviews.

2022-05-31Horrible vehicles horrible service !!! They lie to get you you the vehicles and dont stand on anything they say. Ive been without my car going on 2 months now. With no ETA on when I can expect to get my car back.as I spoke to the service department. I was informed that there are several vehicles a head of mine. That needs engines and transmissions as well. I had a break issue when I purchased the car. That they said they would fix at no expense to me. I took my car back to be service was told its not the breaks twice. Took my car to another mechanic guess what its the breaks. These people are a legal scam smh. I would advise for anyone dealing with these issues to contact legal advice. And if your not a customer I definitely would not suggest this place if my life depended on it.

2022-06-02This was one of the best experiences I have had buying a car. Jeff was my sales rep and he stayed late to accommodate my work schedule which I greatly appreciated. He was the most honest salesman I have ever met. He is definitely a straight shooter. He got me approved with a note that was under what I expected to pay. I would recommend him to anyone looking to buy a car. And JD Byrider did they thang with me. Lol.

2022-07-12As we all know car shopping can be absolutely dreadful but Jeff made sure that my experience was painless!!! He worked with me and was very patient. Any questions that I had he made sure that I was clear on understanding him. Jeff listened to what I wanted, he also didn’t hesitate to say no to me committing financial suicide and was able to get me into a fully loaded 2015 Chevy Cruze which was one of my favorite choices from the website. Jeff was very fair and very honest and I would 1000% recommend anyone coming to work with him. Long as your are up front with him and let him know what he is working with he is willing to do all that he can on his end to make the deal happen for you and he won’t just put you in anything., he makes sure that you are completely satisfied before closing the deal! So if you are car shopping go see JEFF!!!!!!!!!!!
