I have never lived in a place where the management truly cares about their tenants as much a Windsor place. Tracy Peterson is the kindest, most caring person. She has ALWAYS gone above and beyond to help me. I’ve lived here for six years. As a single mother, I’ve struggled a lot and Tracy has done everything in her power to help me in any way she could! Thank you Tracy, for being so wonderful and for caring so much!
Shady company. Provides places with outdated and decades old appliances and cabinetry as well as the cheapest carpeting one could buy. Raises the rent every year on their tenants and overcharges for their properties. Takes an unreasonable amount out of security deposits upon move out. I have rented at two separate locations and I can say each one of these was the same experience. I will not rent any place that is managed by this greedy company.
Honestly if I could give this place a 0 I seriously would. Very unprofessional and rude. My fiancé and I have been treated with no respect. First we will start with the apartment. Black marks on the carpet, our sliding glass door to balcony can to be opened unless a large amount of strength is used to pull open, and the tile in the bathroom was broken. My fiancé is in construction and had to call the maintence multiple times to come in and repair. We didn’t have a bathroom for three weeks due to the constant coming in and repairing what they couldn’t fix in the first place. Second, My fiancé and I had a small argument as any couple would. The manager had the means to come up to me one morning and corner me by my truck and proceed in antagonizing me. She then asked if I leased here. I explained no because my fiancé and I didn’t want my name on it. Therefore she explained she had no need to speak to someone like myself. Also, I am pregnant to top this off throughout this whole thing. We had people in our building smoking downstairs. We love in a NON SMOKING complex. We could smell it through all vents. As always we called upon concern and they explained you are allowed to smoke. When I’m reality there are NON SMOKING signs inside our building. They have come in unannounced and walked into the bedroom when I was sleeping. Then they proceed to avoid other repairs needed that THEY caused. We have children banging against our doors and placing their toys on our vehicles. Leaving bikes in the hallways when all of this is against the contract. Items are not to be in the hallways, and items are not to be placed on personal properties. Most recently. My fiancé requested he was there for inspection because there are cracks running through the walls and ceiling. They avoided him and went inside when he was not home. This is against contract and was violated.
Nothing But problems since they day we moved in Office Managament tried to have us pay gas bill from month before we moved in and building recenetly got bed bugs and although we were told by Marianne herself that nothing was found we are still being charge. Beware. Also theres a couple rude neighbors that love knock on doors because they think there entitled. Management does nothing about it. Call corporate they dont care
I lived in an apartment complex owned by them last year. None of the apartments came with carbon monoxide dectors, despite having a natural gas unit literally located IN the kitchen space! (Which is against the law in Ohio) When I brought this to their attention, they simply sent out a maintance guy to come and look at my natural gas unit, and try to throw me some bologna on how its fine. The tank has a pipe coming out of it, and the pipe was assembled to the tank, not manucatured to be attached, therefore, there is always a possibility it can fall out. The maintence man disputed with literally nothing to back it up. I bought my own carbon monoxide dector and they refused to reimburse me for it. People have literally died from situations like this. Theyre lucky I didnt report this. But if youre reading this, please beware- Either buy your own carbon monoxide dector, or rent from an agency that actually follows the law.
My Fiancé and I spent 2 years at the Crossings village property and our experience could not have been better. April and the rest of the staff were always helpful and the facilities were always well maintained. We would happily recommend this property to anybody looking in the future.
If you are reading this because you have done your research and realized that your potential new home is owned and managed by this company: well done, DO NOT SIGN THE LEASE! These people are bloodsucking leeches. You are way better off renting from an independent landlord than these jerks. If you value your money and your pride, walk away.

2022-07-01Current resident of Windsor Place…..moving out though due to VERY HIGH rent increase.Not worth the extra bucks….the units have very old appliances AND our electric bill has been higher here than anywhere else we’ve lived.A few months ago, our lights were blinking for no reason. Electrician was called out and he said our meter was spinning like crazy & it was VERY old.I could go on, but you get the point.Look for a management company who raises their level of service & provides updates to their properties along with the MARKET RATES.✊🏾

2022-04-07I just moved out from Marine Towers West, not a good experience , rude and superficial management, not open to a civilized communication . They charged me with some things that are really pathetic and that confirmed my belief that they are all about money, humans are for them just income generators. The garage collapsed in December and parking is since a mess and the big hole is still there, great view form my window. Building is old so are the kitchens and bathrooms, ,hallways, I was there for 6 years and nothing was renewed. Old washing machines and dryers too. Those are for sure not the luxury apartments that they are advertising.

2021-10-05Everyone is struggling financially right now. And this place doesnt give a care. They dont want to give us our deposit just because we gave them a 3 day notice before leaving. And we left on the day as it stated in the contract. If we didnt renew our lease what does it tell you exactly? I mean where is your common sense. The management from our apartments didnt even call or ask what we doing. If she would do her job to keep up with the tenants lease. There would be less stress on my. And I was counting to pay my bills with that money.

2020-11-19I have just moved into the new renovated apartments in Great Northern Village which is a complex owned by Burton Carol. We absolutely love our apartment and have absolutely no complaints since we moved in. Everyone here is extremely awesome to work with especially our property manager Amanda. She is always very kind and helpful and always has a positive attitude. I also have a family member who works for this company who loves her job and is treated so well by her employer. The way a business/employer treats their employees says a lot and makes me even happier that I have moved in here. 10/10 recommend.

2022-01-07Lived in same place for 6 years. Carpet was not new when I got there. I was told that it was so old there wasn’t even a way to track when it was replaced last, so I wouldn’t be charged for it on move out. Well guess what? They kept $300 from my deposit and said it was to replace the carpet. Stay away from these thieves.

2020-05-16Although the face to face contact with our office staff and maintenance was always pleasant, the the management company of Great Northern Villages above them was insufferable to work with and do not care about you as a human being. I purchased a house and the process was unusually quick. Therefore I had to move out of my apartment sooner than anticipated. If I had been made fully aware of this option and put $100 more of a deposit I could have moved out without issue. Instead however amidst the stress and chaos of COVID-19 I was told they will not work with me in any way shape or form (even though I gave multiple months notice and kept them updated all along and even offered to pay for the months I was staying there and let them keep my deposit) I called again to try and resolve things after moving out and was told theyll call me back. I never received that call and now I have received a letter saying I owe them for 4 months I was not living in the apartment (even though someone had moved in already) AND they kept my security deposit. I thoroughly discourage anyone considering to do business with these people and will be be investigating my options of legal recourse. Atop this I will say that for paying $885 a month the appliances and overall quality of the apartment was unacceptable. The entire time I lived there blinds for my sliding glass door were on order and the bathroom fan was disconnected causing mold issues and more intensive cleaning. Also you could tell the tile walls had been broken multiple times and repaired. Mainly around the soap tray and faucets. The carpets were also not new and our range hood never worked properly, the faucet sprayed water out the side if you turned it in the kitchen, and the common areas were always dirty.

2020-03-27The worst apartment management I’ve dealt with in the last 7 years of renting. I have RODENT DROPPINGS in my apartment and management does not care. In fact the supervisor said it’s okay because she’s dealt with this in her home before... talk about terrible management. The bills are terrible because the walls are not insulated. I’m not home very often and my gas bill was $130 in January. They don’t service anything that needs fixed. My stove has had glass falling for 6 months and my dishwasher doesn’t dispense pods. Money hungry apartment complex who truly does not care about the tenants.

2020-04-03RODENTS that they don’t do anything about! They delete your reviews! Sketchy company to say they least. The apartments have no insulation so you will get ridiculous gas bills over $100 a month. I had to plastic my own window which didn’t even help because the air comes in the walls. I’ve never had a bad experience with an apartment in 7 years and these people are terrible.

2020-06-26Dont waste your time with them. I signed a new lease and all I did was take my ex off the lease and I was told mine wouldnt be ran again, but instead they ran mine again, which goes against the leasing contract. They are known for evicting without justification. The maintenance company they go thru always screws things up. And they are very unprofessional. And every year they rais up the rent by $50 which makes living in any of their complexes impossible after 3 years

2020-01-09The apartment are cost and fully equipped. The maintenance crew are efficient and quick. the Management is professional and ready to help at any time. I highly recommend this apartment to anyone interested in a nice, quiet place to live that’s close to just about everything you need!!! :)
