This is no frills retro but clean. Sleep and go. You wont be ugged out. Owner even came out to help me park my truck and atv trailer in the right spot under a light.
Literally a warm place to shower and sleep. No frills, no stress, cozy motel. It may need some updates to freshen up the look; if thats not a deal breaker and youre just driving crosscountry and want a safe place to rest - this place works great!
The hotel was easy to find off the highway. The check-in process was quick and easy but the price of the room we had reserved had gone up slightly. The room was clean and spacious, the bathroom could have been a little cleaner. No shower soap or shampoo in the shower. Checkout was also quick and easy.
The price was good and the room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. If are looking for a place to sleep I recommend it.
Quiet & Cozy nice place to disappear from your daily chores and get some much needed rest. Very friendly staff. Some smoking rooms available last of the dying breed. Affordable.
If I paid 150 bucks for the room it would get 3 stars....but I paid 55 and I got a clean room,. If you are picky...or have a high maintenance wife or girlfriend...ur not gonna wanna to stay here. If you camp in a tent and ur cool with that...then this place is a 5 star tent.. I would stay here again. Thats what ya need to know. Cleaner than most higher end places
As a business traveller, this small, no frills Budget Inn is perfect. Not far off I77 or I70, location is ideal. Always impeccably clean, very quiet, pleasantly economical, and family run. The owner takes pride in this establishment, you can tell by the detail to upkeep! Bring your own shampoo and hairdryer but everything else is provided. Half the cost of everything else around. I stay here often and look forward to it each time!
Nice peaceful place.....rooms are spacious and comes with a microwave and fridge. Now the only problem is that my father was laying down and a bug was crawling on him. He gets up and pulls sheet back and a yellow stain that looks like a pee stain in bed plus crumbs. So, I immediately call front desk to alert the staff and his reactions on phone was poorly...I was like a bug was crawling on my dad and theres yellow stain on sheets. He said theres no bugs. I was like sir I took pictures to show you. He was like I do not want to see pictures but what do you want to do. I was like I want to go to sleep. So, point blank nothing was done. No new sheets or a discount. Only thing he said is I will talk to my housekeeping.I believe someone stayed in room and used bed than housekeeping remade bed without changing sheets. Which is nasty and if sheets was changed than why is there big crumbs under a made bed. The bug Im going to hope it flew in because dads bed was by door... Also, pillows need upgraded to firmI recommend this place do to good prices and overall clean but check sheets and report housekeeping if any problems asap but I believe this will be corrected before any other guest stays here. Staff/owner comes off as a person that wants things right and will fix but hates to hear truth and thats why he was upset with me when I reported problems
We got a non smoking rooms and it looked like it came out of the 50s. Ive never seen a heater like that in my life. The room got warm but after a while. Outside of that it wasnt too expensive ($50+ tax). The bed was comfortable and we left early the next morning.
Good stay for the price. The motel is very close to the highway and it is safe. Staff are friendly with late checkin facility.
I will never stay here again. Its a dump and the owner behaved like an ass. We arrived and our reservation was not recorded correctly and they had us down for a week later than we booked. There was not even a hint of the possibility that the error could have been theirs and not ours. I assure you this was NOT our mistake. They did, however, have rooms for my friend and me. It was a not-that-hot day in August, yet the AC in my room on the second floor had not been turned on and it was an oven. The antiquated, dinky AC window unit was inadequate to cool the room even though it was about the size of a large bathroom. The room was very tiny with the bed shoved up against the wall. There was only one light in the room... an overhead ceiling light. There was no nightstand to set a phone or for me to set my CPAP machine on. The bathroom was filthy. I could have dealt with all that, but when I complained to the owner that my room was too hot and not cooling down, he was rude. He offered a million excuses about why the room was hot and why I should be patient for it to cool down. At one point he swore at me! He should have offered to find a room that could be cooled, or at the very least to discount my room or comp it altogether. Ive been staying at hotels for many years and I can tell you this is one of the absolute worst Ive stayed in and the treatment I received some of the worst as well. Avoid this place like the plague.
Positive: -large rooms -clean and nice (also bathroom) -very quiet -comfortable bed -fridge + microwave -a/c working fine. Negative: All i can think of is no liquid soap for showering. Just two cakes of soap.
This place doesnt deserve anyones MONEY! Spoke with guy over the phone who invited me to come and secure a weekly reservation for -$280 (for one) which would allow for check-in tomorrow. However we meaning me and my partner just walked outta here in laughter to the uckery they (DAD & OLJR.) just gave regarding at 1st a room being available today (prior to me making my presence known) to call us in the a.m. after check-out and maybe we will have a room available for now -$455 which would include a now deposit on a weekly room for 2!? ANYONE else see the yielding discrimination? So I will not be calling in the morning they will not see any of this free money Thanks Trump!PS they had the nerve to be Indians!! Good day! Now may God Bless this place in truth and they receive their due. ✊🏿
I was leary of cheap small motel but man I was amazed! The owner was friendly, bed comfortable, water got hot, the flooring was grimey looking or feeling and it was QUIET! Definitely will stay again! Restaurants at the next highway exit.
It was easy to find and parking was great. The check in process was quick and simple but I was overcharged and given a room that was different from the one I reserved. The room was large and clean. The TV was small and difficult to see when in bed. The check out process was quick and easy.
By far in the way the cleanest and most comfortable (flat panel tv) with HBO and a bunch of channels, clean bathroom, friendly staff. Easiest the best value motel room Ive stayed in.
Stayed here several times due to its proximity to SF State Park. Great price for a nice clean room. Never had any problems with the rooms there. My wife and I have always enjoyed our stays there. Would recommend.
I can echo what everyone else said. Its clean, staff is polite and the accommodations are adequate. Extremely outdated ... like something out of a 1970s horror movie. The place is creepy. They need to adopt the Motel6 interior decorating style. And they use old fashioned door keys. I havent seen that in over 10 years. Frankly, the only reason I stayed there is because Motel6 was sold out.
Room and bathroom were very clean. The room was decorated well. The person who checked us in was very polite. Great price for the clean room and quiet location.
The rates are competitive. And for its age its actually very well maintained and kept spotless by the certeous and attentive owner operators. Although I am not completely unsure that same staff werent covertly monitoring activities in each room in some fashion for one reason or another...
Sat down on the bed at 5 PM. 5:30 my arm was bit up by bed bugs I never even took my shoes off and kicked back . Flipped the covers and found 2 babys
The room was falling apart, there was litterly a hole in the floor, also it said 40 online and got charged 56, amd wifi didnt work thay good, beside that i was not bad and the lady at the desk was really nice

I stayed there about 3 months ago and have no intention of going back. The okay points were free parking and the room was clean. However this place is sets on a hill, its isolated and its just a creepy place.

DO NOT STAY HERE! Literally the only thing good about this place is the size of the room. The owner wants to tell you what you can eat in your room the owner wants to tell you where you can put your suitcases in your room. The owner expects you to clean your own room. Wont let you cook in your room because of bugs....... Which it already has.....

2022-06-07Although not my custom to review motels, this is a “budget” motel which hits above its weight class.For $55 we had an abnormally large room, nicely appointed, with the amenities and everything else in remarkably good shape. The exterior doesn’t suggest the extent of interior remodeling. Immaculately clean, large comfortable bed and a tv that was brain dead easy to turn on and operate.WiFi was a wonderful 50+ mbps download; over 10 upload. And that’s inside the room.Pleasant manager (owner?) and very quiet. Also unexpected but greatly appreciated was that the room had a pleasant scent, not like most budget places which have fielded smokers indiscriminately and smell rancid, no matter how much disinfectant has been tossed inside.Only reason I didn’t go with 5 stars is the lack of an ice machine.

2022-05-28Beds and bathroom were clean. Outdated, dingy interior, but for the price, its fine. Minus one star because the staff werent the friendliest. AC was cold. Water was almost too hot. Room was slightly musty smelling, but not much. Clean and cheap

2022-07-07We opened the door it doesnt open all the way hits bed. Dirty room and Rude owner. I guess we woke him up? Only positive thing to say we had a roof over our head for the night.

2019-09-04At $45 ( taxes + fees included) for a standard double room, it was perfect. The room was spotlessly clean and the beds comfortable. Breakfast is not provided, so I made do with the coffee pack that comes standard in the rooms. Be sure to bring your own toiletries ( shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, toothbrush, toothpaste) - only facial bar soap was provided for my stay. I would stay here again.

2021-10-16We checked in at almost 3 am and paid full price. We were supposed be out out at 11 the power went out at 4 am didnt come on till close to 11 I ask if we got another night or atleast a cpl hrs they came straight to the room an wanted us out if I could give a half star it would be less then that
